This condo was very nice, a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we needed to cook and the smart TV had all of our apps for easy login. View of the city and mountains was lovely. Total wall of glass / glass sliding doors provided great natural light throughout. Balcony was spacious, table seating 4. Bed was super comfortable. The HVAC worked exceptionally well (top notch multi-split unit) and the stand-up fan provided a nice breeze and ambient white noise at night to dull the minor city noise; Access to Waikiki Beach was great, hotel was right on the path (no crossing any streets). We liked that this section of the beach (near the marina and at the start of Waikiki Beach) was not as wild and crazy as other parts of the beach, lively but a bit more subdued. Fireworks every Friday evening next door super cool. Very nice that the owner provided two new Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, 2 beach towels, and a small cooler pack free to use for the beach. Loved both pools at the Ilikai (towels provided free by hotel), especially 2nd floor adult pool. Restaurant in hotel was good. Access to HUI rental car super convenient right next door in Marina garage. Ilikai is right on bus route which was easy to use (Transit app). Tip, use the Bathers elevator, never a wait for it. Gary the host was a gentleman and very easy to work with. My wife loved the Yoga work out mat provided. Would definitely stay here again.

We’re a family of five with two older kids, and the space was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The home was clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Having a full kitchen was a huge bonus, and it made our trip even more enjoyable.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this apartment for our visit to Oahu and Waikīkī. We had an excellent view overlooking the lagoon by the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the ocean, and could even see about half of the Friday fireworks from our lanai. The apartment was well maintained and when we had one problem with a leak, the property manager responded promptly to have it fixed. The bed was large and comfortable, and the A/C worked well, with an umbrella, mat and towels provided for the beach which was just a short walk away. From the Ilikai it is easy to walk into Waikīkī as well as to the Ala Moana mall. The Ilikai has two pools we could use, one heated and with mixed salt and fresh water, with friendly attendants - great for a morning lap swim or for lounging all day. Would be happy to come again!

Definitely 5 stars! We had a great time in Waikiki; the property was perfect for our family of 5. The condo was clean and the view was gorgeous! The place is ideally situated near the lagoon, as well as walking distance to the Ala Moana Shopping Center, wharf, beach and many restaurants. Condo was very clean, with a fully-equipped kitchen, nice lanai, AC(!), 2 bathrooms, and also much-needed in-unit laundry washer and dryer; and parking garage was a plus. We did have a minor snafu, as valet of the hotel had our rental car towed instead of contacting us, so that the only unpleasant episode, but overall, this property is highly recommended and the host/property manager was always reachable during our stay and was awesome in assisting us. We thank Captain Cook Resorts and will definitely return and will also refer any friends and family members to stay here for their future visits.

Condo was nice and big 3 actual beds, and a couch that turns into a bed. 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. Porch overlooks the ocean and lagoon. Outdoor furniture is a little dated but worked just fine for our group of 5. Pool was great when everyone was oceaned out. Lots of places toWalk too to eat and shop! Will definitely be back in the future!

Overall was great. But things to consider for families looking into it. The curtains are see through so even at night it’s bright and during the day was super bright for our baby’s naps. AC works great in the living room/kitchen but in order to be comfortable in bedroom, it has to be blasting and we were pretty cold in living room. Building/Hotel has great amenities and we loved the pool and how close we were to the Lagoon. Host were responsive when we had a power outage, they kept us updated.

This unit is in a desirable location - easy access to the beach. The restaurant and shops in the building are quite good. The view from the balcony is lovely. This is a small unit, but well equipped for a short stay. The unit is more like a studio apt. with sliding panels separating the bedroom from the living/kitchen area.

A well used suite. Flip down sofa is 5 feet long. Not suitable for an adult to sleep in. A blow up mat was provided also not suitable for the price paid. The one chair to sit on in the living room was dirty and thread bare. Pans to cook with were not suitable for cooking. Cookie sheet had to be tilted to put on the oven. The microwave was warped along the seam in the back, I didn't use it. They have a dishwasher but only provided 2 pods for the week we were there. Dirty switches, especially for the disposal. rusty lamps and vent covers. Toilet is probably original to the building date, 2 ft step over to get into the tub, not good for folks with mobility issues. Mold along the tub caulking. Bugs in the light fixture. To be fair, I did not contact the agent, the unit was not inhabitable, just gross. I left it cleaner than when I arrived. I am sure they would have been responsive if something major went wrong. This unit could only be fixed by a major renovation and that couldn't be done with my family in it.

Really good communication and flexibility with check in. The place definitely needs a refresh, especially in the kitchen area, where there was a smell coming from the odd gap between stove and cabinetry. It would also probably be good to redo the shower, where the floor appears to be sinking. The place also needed an extra blanket and could have been a little cleaner. But overall, I appreciated the communication on check in, and this was what was available with less advanced notice since we were coming in for a funeral and wanted to stay a few more days.

The location was awesome for us! The views of both the marina, the lagoon and the ocean were as beautiful as described. Quick walk to beach access. It’s not “downtown”, so we would walk about a mile to the famous Waikiki beach, but where we were was near the Hilton Hawaiian village so we had really nice beach access without being so busy. That and the lagoon were Perfect for our little one! The views are worth every penny, and the owner was a great communicator. The photos are views from the balcony. Would book again!

What fun! We loved our room in the Ilikai Tower. The room was comfy and cozy. We really enjoyed the store and restaurants in the lobby. And loved the boardwalk behind the hotel that takes you along Waikiki beach. The energy in the city was contagious, and perfectly off set with the laid back vibe of the rest of the island that we enjoyed on tours and excursions.

We had a great stay overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. We also really appreciated the beach supplies that were provided and the generous number of pillows, which made our stay more comfortable.The only suggestions we have are to hide or better organize the TV wires for a cleaner look, and to include instructions that the router needs to be powered on for the internet to work. We initially thought the Wi-Fi wasn't functioning until we discovered the router had to be turned on. Other than that, everything was great, and we'd happily stay here again.

This was our first ever visit to Hawaii, first visit to Oahu, and very first rental on any of the islands. The property was clean, location was amazing, and amenities were exactly what we needed for our stay. Our room was located very close to laundry and garbage services. The kitchen was stocked with all pots, pans, tools, cups, silverware, etc that we needed for our stay. We were extremely impressed. Patio was beautiful and beach products were perfect for our kids. If we had one wish, it would be for just a little more shelving or perhaps a dresser for our clothes. We had a lot and had to keep a lot of our clothing in our suitcases throughout our stay.

The room was perfect for our small family trip. It was in a great location for restaurants, the beach and shopping. We found that we would drive to the west side and northwest part of the island for beaches but that’s not related to the stay. It was more of a studio apartment but had everything we needed, including all cooking supplies and kitchen equipment. I’ve read reviews about the AC and outlets but those all seemed resolved when we were there. Our host communicated well and there were no issues with checkin or checkout. Great price for what we got and would stay again. The photos include the beach that’s a 3 minute walk from the resort.

The unit is exactly as described. And, since it is located within a hotel, it has many amenities you would not find in other stand-alone rentals. The full kitchen was convenient for preparing morning meals & coffee. There is a small grocery store up the street, though we drove to the nearby Walmart for eggs, sausage, additional paper products etc. The one missing utensil was a cutting board, but we made do. There also was (paid) laundry services on our floor. All convenient. The host was responsive to our few texts.And our proximity to pools, beach and the lagoon was helpful since we are a multigenerational family!

Enjoyed our stay here. Easy walk to lagoon and Duke’s beach. Stayed for a week with our college age children. Away from the very busy Waikiki beach center, but an easy walk or Uber will get you there. Very prompt and helpful response when we had an issue finding a remote for one of the fans.

The view was amazing! Basically that is what you are paying for. The property itself was run down. The AC were very loud so if you need quiet sleep this is not the place. The kitchen was equipped with the basic necessities pots, pans, and servingware. There are no basic cleaning supplies offered like wipes, sprays, etc. There is 1 broom to sweep, but no mop. If you are staying longer you will have to go buy some. Its a great location, easy access to lagoon/beach. There are many food choices in walking distance.
