Recommend but be awareThe good. The view is beautiful. You can only see the ocean from half of the balcony. The hotel lobby is maintained like a 4 star. The location is very convenient Pool ,Lagoon and beach is easily accessible The valet was superb even though its pricey. It was worth it. Also the fountain sounds from the Hilton made it even more relaxing. Also got to see the Hilton Laua from balconyThe so so. The room is too small for 4 adults. The sofa is too small. Its really a studio with a wall. No doors for privacy. Room was clean. Everything supplied as expected except for bath towels. We only got 1 for 4 people. We did get 4 pool towels. But what really made this a 3 experience vs a 4. Is their is one main AC For the entire unit. For privacy when the curtains were closed to the bedroom. It became unbearable hot. So we had to utilize fans in the bedrooms at night (which was in the unit) We visited in July.

Overall, we enjoyed our week long stay and the view was amazing! The condo was very comfortable for our family of 3, very clean, small kitchen appliances were good - used the 2 slice toaster and electric tea kettle daily. Ice trays were available, lots of hangers in the closet, with a vacuum and both the bed and couch were comfortable.Some improvements I hope the hosts would consider adding are towel hooks in the bathroom. A single towel bar is not enough for daily use of bath towels and beach towels. There are only 4 place settings in the kitchen, so bring paper plates and plastic utensils so you don't need to wash dishes after each meal. The outdoor chair cushions on the patio looked old and worn and the beach equipment needs to be replaced - broken strap on one of the 2 chairs, very dirty, broken boogie board and beach umbrellas were not useable.We had a great stay, the location is excellent and were very pleased with onsite amenities at the Ilikai, like restaurant, ice cream and coffee shop. We would recommend to others and stay here again.

We spent 11 days at the property and we had a blast. All the basic things are there. Views are absolutely amazing. The location is great and close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Over those 11 days, we had no problem with parking. There is one behind the hotel we were lucky to park at on most of the days and its not very expensive (1 per hour). There is another one is in the garage next to Red Lobster that is a little more expensive. We had no need to contact the owner. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We came to Oahu for my mom’s 75th birthday. There were 3 adult ladies and one 9 year old child. Location and view were wonderful, especially if you enjoy strolling the beach walk. The beds were amazing, so comfortable. It was very clean and easy to access with the door code. The only drawback for us was the lack lot of storage/place to unpack our clothes. There was a closet but it was not useable for storage. We would definitely stay here again and bring binoculars next time to watch the boats and surfers!

Standard Ilikai property, so plenty of space, good size lanai etc. Property was very well equipped, everything we needed for our 2 week stay. However, if I owned the property I would give it a good overhaul top to bottom, even if it was just a good redecoration, it looks a little "worn". Apartment owner was very helpful with early check in, and there were things like chocolates and coffee left for us. Pricing was very good for our favourite location, so all in all, good value for money in a country where prices have risen significantly since we were last there 5 years ago. Would book this apartment again, purely on price and location.

Beautiful weather. Condo was well equipped & ready for us. Honolulu is certainly a busy city with alot of activities going on, especially on the weekend. Views were amazing. Parking is always an issue, we chose to rent a vehicle & use the valet service. Valets were always available - helpful & brought the car quickly. Certainly enjoyed our stay, but look forward to our next stop, Kauai, for some quiet time.

We had a great stay on our second family vacation to this beautiful island. The suite was clean, stunning views, all the amenities you need —perfect for a Hawaii Vacay! The location was super convenient, just steps from the pier, beach, restaurants and shopping in the heart of Honolulu. The two-bedroom, two-bath setup was perfect for our family of 4. We especially loved the huge outdoor patio with scenic views all around. The host was great and very responsive. We’d definitely recommend this spot!

Very clean, worked well for our family. Though, several bulbs were burnt out, shower heads were very weak, smoke alarm went off everytime we cooked and we had to replace the battery. Then, it continued to beep. We also couldn't find a pizza cutter and we made several pizzas. Overall, the place is fine, it just needs a few touch ups.

The unit looked exactly like the photos, and Rosina was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with. The location is fantastic—close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Most of our Uber rides to attractions were only 8–15 minutes. I would definitely book this unit again if we go back.

Checking in was simple and easy. The room needs major updating. Floors were dirty and cabinets were dusty. The air conditioner was not working properly as it was warm not matter how low we set it.The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The area was great and we found overnight parking nearby at a great price of 1.00 per hour. I definitely would stay at this location again but not in this unit.

Upon our arrival, we were not met with hospitality. When we got out of our vehicles, valet asked if it was our first time and to go there. Not even wanting to help unload. Valet service needs to figure out a system that works because what they have now is not working. The condo is wonderful although we noticed an odor coming from the curtains and sofas. I don’t think it has been washed or dusted in a while because it triggered my allergies. The elevators were sometimes a long wait around brunch. Security was kind enough to allow us to use the bathers elevators.

We were really excited about this place when we booked it and don’t get me wrong the location was amazing but don’t think I would stay there again. First impressions were not great. The couch had stains on it that had to be cleaned but there office is closed over the weekend and if you arrive on a Saturday you have to wait until Monday to get it taken care of. Not quiet at all during the day. Luckily we were out doing things most of the trip but they were working on the unit below and above us for several days hammering, power tools, etc. even on weekends. It was disappointing and made it so you wanted to be gone all day. Damage to the floor in the kitchen so go barefoot at your own risk we didn’t given that and lack of cleanliness we didn’t trust it. Kitchen materials were less than basic. We picked the place was the ability to cook but they didn’t even have hot pads, the pans and utensils were subpar that we bought some to use on our own during the stay to help with the cooking. They were finally able to get us hot pads and kitchen towels after the weekend when they reopened. Also the stove was so old that all of the knob directions had been wore off so we had to play a fun game of which way do you turn it for low and high heat. It was easy to figure out but be prepared. The property was clean and well stocked. There was local shampoo and body washes provided for both showers that smelled great. One issue was the master bedroom slider did not have a lock on it but overall the balconies provided great views of the ocean and marina. Communication with the property manager was not needed during our trip, but would suggest having a few extra beach chairs in the unit for the lagoon/beach across the street.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Illikai and the first time in this Condo and it was as wonderful as we experienced last time. The resort is beautiful and the amenities are great. Our condo was exactly at pictured and we had an amazing view of the 4th of July firework display. We will definetely be back!

This room has all the necessities for your stay. We chose the room because it had two actual beds in the one room. The beach chairs, mat, and cooler were all really helpful to have. The A/C did keep the room cool, although when the Sun was hitting the windows, you could tell it was struggling a bit to keep the temperature. Also, the windows’ curtains did not block the entirety of the windows. Even fully spaced out, there’s about 4-6 feet of the windows that are uncovered; having littles, this meant when the Sun was up, we were up. We would stay here again, but possibly plan to bring something from home to cover the windows a little more.

The unit was just as expected, very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the location since we were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to see. It was also convenient for picking up our car rental for a few days (Enterprise across the street). And the included garage parking pass was a great bonus.Also eating on the balcony with the beautiful view was something we really liked.Booking through Captain Cook Resorts was an easy procedure but once on site we did have a couple of issues and we felt the management team provided could have been more responsive in a more timely manner. Luckily one of the issues we resolved on our own and the other (fire alarm going off at 5AM) was taken care of by the hotel.All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit.

We had such an amazing stay here! The view was beautiful—we could see the ocean right from the place, and my favorite part was waking up in the morning and watching the surfers out in the water. There’s just something really cool about seeing people doing what they love. It made me want that kind of peace for myself.The AC worked great (which isn’t always the case in Waikiki), and the water pressure was seriously the best I’ve ever had staying out there. No issues with the Wi-Fi either, which was super helpful. The unit was really clean and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed—including a rice cooker, which was a big plus!I had to call the property manager twice during the trip, and both times she picked up right away, was super helpful, and made sure everything got taken care of without rushing me. That kind of service really stood out.We did valet parking at the hotel, which made everything a lot easier since parking in Waikiki can be a headache.Overall, just a great experience. We’d 100% stay here again!

Unfortunately there was construction going on in an adjacent unit the entire time we were there. It was extremely loud! I was also disappointed that it was stated that there was a washer and dryer in the premises. There was, but it was a pay per load unit down the hall. The location was great. For the price, I would have chosen differently.
