My sister, my daughter and I came to Oahu for 6 nights to celebrate multiple things. My daughter just graduated high schoolš„³ She also just got her drivers license. My sister was celebrating her last mortgage payment being paid āŗļø
We had a Great time! The property was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach, and many great spots for dining and shopping.
We drove to Sans Souci beach 3 days in a row. Great spot to lounge on the beach, and snorkel. I saw 3 sea turtles š¢ and many tropical fish.
Our flight home was scheduled very late at night. The property manager was kind to allow us to check out later than the contracted 10am time. This allowed us to stay in a cool (AC was very quick to cool the room) and safe place (we didnāt have to keep all of our luggage in the rental car all day) Thank you Chris and Sara for hosting us. We will remember many moments from this trip

Saved a good chunk of money. The property is a little dated, but it is perfectly Hawaiian. I would stay here again and most likely will.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is older, no wow factor walking in. However the unit was very nicely remodeled. It is older and just a Fresh coat of paint and upgrades, but it was charming and cozy. One request would be more mirrors, only the bathroom mirrors with one bathroom so when four people are trying to get ready, they were doing hair and makeup out in the kitchen. It's about a 5-minute walk to Waikiki beach. Beautiful views of Diamond Head, if you are going to hike it, get a reservation early.

The property was in a perfect location, only about a 5 min walk to Waikiki Beach. The beds were comfortable, the unit was clean and well stocked. My only suggestion would be consider providing dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels based on number of weeks that are being stayed rather than same amount per stay. Also, a higher quality of toilet paper would be appreciated. Overall, great property.

Recommend against staying here. Experienced traveler to Hawaii speaking here...Waikiki Sunset is one of the nicer venues to stay...but I would never invite friends over if I took care of a condo property like this. Not sure when their photo was taken on the advert for it but is NOT ACCURATE! Plus, the kitchen furniture is dirty, nicked, and dangerously falling apart (no exaggeration). The microwave over the stove didnāt work. The carpet is godawful stained. I must say the floors, counters, linens, etc. were clean so their cleaning crew should get an A+ but omg the furniture... When I arrived, two of the bedroom lamps were obvious shock and fire hazards. Did no one ever notice?? The Mtc person (Renton) replaced them so a thanks for that. But this property is indicative of whatās wrong with Waikiki and in a larger sense, Hawaii...a money grab and you donāt find out until you get here. Overall surprising because Aliāi Beach Rentals used to have a good reputation...

We had a great experience at this property. The self check-in process was very simple thanks to detailed instructions provided by the host. The condo was very clean and had a FANTASTIC view of Waikiki beach and Diamondhead. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach (and even shorter walk to the nearest ABC Store). Very convenient location for catching day tours, renting a scoot coupe, and places to eat. We did not have a car and walked for most of our trip. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Everything is there .. canopy/ chairs for 2/ umbrellas ! You are next door to the laundry room. .. we felt super safe ! So close to beach ! Perfect walk ! We left 2 beach floats for the next guests ! MAHALO!!

This place as everything I hoped it would be. Great views. Everything you need in a kitchen. Great bathroom. Iām glad I chose it. Only thing Iād the pull out couch was uncomfortable and pretty worn, they could upgrade it, but my teen was sleeping on it and he didnāt complain. I couldnāt have slept on it. They being said the master bedroom was super comfortable. Also note the boogie boards they have there are for small children. Any teens or adults will have to buy out rent their own. The umbrella is also no good against any wind. Everything else was perfect. I would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. The building was well-maintained and had friendly staff. The elevators worked well, and we never had to wait long for them. This unit is right next door to the elevators, but we really didn't hear much noise except in the bedroom. The other residents were quiet as well, and we didn't hear much noise coming from the hallway.We really liked the location, which is on the quieter end of Waikiki. Everything is very walk-able. We loved the views with Diamond Head to the left and the aqua ocean waters to the right. It was lovely to sit outside in the mornings while eating breakfast! The unit is well-appointed with everything you need, including a coffee maker, coffee filters, and dishes (although we personally didn't cook in the unit, just prepared simple breakfasts and lunches). There is also snorkeling gear, two beach chairs, and an umbrella in the closet in the bathroom. Three beach towels were provided and several extra bathroom towels. The bathroom appliances worked well, and we especially liked the good water pressure of the shower head. The bedroom was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The only small issue we had is that the AC vent is positioned to blow right towards the bed, and you cannot change the angle of it. We opted not to have AC on at night while we slept, and the unit didn't get warmer than 76 degrees overnight, which we found adequate. We did not use the other amenities in the building, such as the parking garage, pool, BBQs, or gym. We did use the laundry room (one is located on each floor); it requires a mobile app (you need to be able to receive texts) or $1.75 in quarters.We would definitely stay here again, and Alii Beach Rentals were very good to deal with. The check-in and check-out process was very easy.

My family and I had a fantastic experience during our stay. The condo was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed both for our time in the condo and trips to the beach. The views couldn't have been more perfect (including some unexpected ones - fireworks on Tuesday night and a few of the animals in the Honolulu Zoo). Parking was a nice bonus and we were well located in Waikiki, with so much in walking distance. Tom was great to deal with as well. If we make it back to Oahu, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

From The very beginning the host was easy to communicate with and answering questions in regards to the rental.
Very fast in responding during the stay as well. Accommodated us well with checking out late last minute. Beach toys were a hit with the toddler!
Short walk to the beach that has a great area for small kids to swim. Amazing view to enjoy coffee every morning!
The only downfall to this property was checking in We had a rental car that was too tall to fit into the garage and having to go back to the airport to get a different vehicle with two young kids after a full day of travel was exhausting. And super hard to find street parking. We let the host know immediately about it.
We will definitely rebook your visiting again in the future!

We were in town for a family wedding and the condo was just perfect for me and my 2 adult boys. Great location and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large windows and balcony so we could enjoy that amazing view were just icing on the cake. The available beach chairs were a nice bonus, as well. The hallways are a little dated, but the condo itself was updated and lovely. Walmart will deliver groceries here (you can order ahead and schedule you're delivery), but if you need something in a pinch, the market on the 5th floor has a good variety of items. The laundry machines were quick and easy to use so feel free to under pack!

We enjoyed the condo and it served our needs for sleeping and resting after a long day enjoying the Island. Itās a bit smaller than the pictures lead on (inside), however, we didnāt come to Oahu to stay inside all day and laze around a house/condo. It served excellent jumping point to all the hotspots within walking distance to Waikiki, as well as close proximity to major veins to get around the island. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and served as a great vantage point in the morning and evening. WiFi was not working well, but building WiFi served as backup and fit our needs well.
The AC didnāt cool the bedrooms rooms (we prefer a cooler nighttime, but opened the windows and let the fresh ocean breeze cool us at night.
Would highly recommended for the value and proximity. Would definitely stay again and appreciate the host/management sending detailed instructions.

We loved it and I would stay again. I was hesitant to book with some of the bad reviews but we found nothing wrong! We enjoyed the view of diamond head from the den. Both bedrooms and even the bathroom had a view of the ocean and sunset. The beds were comfy. The unit was fully stocked including 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrellas and even a cooler. Plenty towels and beach towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. The place was clean. No problems with the elevators or bugs. The laundry room is just outside the door on one side and the trash chute was on the other side. Short walk to the beach.

This was a great apartment that met my expectations. Was exactly as pictured & had everything for more than the week I was staying. I agree with other reviews, outside is deceiving, but regardless, the service counter was as expected - great to deal with.On the floor is coin-operated laundry, or signs said it could be operated via an app, along with a dryer. Unfortunately, that had coins stuck in it. Level 5 has a very handy mini-mart with everything I needed, including fresh milk, butter & bread. The pool was great which both my granddaughter who stayed a night and I enjoyed. Also, there are BBQs people were able to use. The condo had lots of towels also for the pool or beach, kid's things including a floaty ring plus extra bits and pieces you can't bring with you on a plane journey. I was most impressed with the renovation making use of the otherwise, small spaces such as adding the bunks where I imagine a wardrobe was. My granddaughter wouldn't have been able to stay the night if not for this smart idea. Nice touches including a large containers of shampoo, conditioner & body wash, hairdryer, tissues, dedicated make-up removing towels, and more. The basket of items was such a thoughtful inclusion as was the personal welcome note. I've kept that as my memento. Just about everything was considered including ice packs. Location was great, 1 street from the zoo and minutes to the main shopping drag & I found far too late a Dennys nearby. Only thing missing was a sink plug :-)

When we arrived at the condo, I was very surprised that it was very, small, rundown and not clean. The air conditioning didnāt work, luckily we didnāt really need it. I couldnāt open the second bedroom closet all of the way, paint was peeling on all doors. The balcony glass table had been broken and instead of replacing it, they tried to repair it with cement or something. The fridge looked like it came from someoneās garage. The vacuum didnāt work and I could not sweep up with the old broom. I am pointing this out because in addition to the rental fee and taxes, I had to pay a cleaning fee.
I may sound like Iām being petty but we payed a lot to rent this place and it did not match the pictures at all.
Despite all of this the location was great, the beds were comfortable and we had a great time. Unfortunately, I do not think we will rent from Captain Cooks again.

The apartment is in a great location. Not to close to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki so it is quiet. But well within walking distance.
The apartment was cosy but needs a little updating. The curtains didnāt close completely, thanks god for my hair clips, that did the trick.
I didnāt cook whilst I was there but the kitchen is a decent size if you wanted to cook and there were lots of utensils. Overall, a wonderful experience, Iād stay again.
