A beautifully renovated condo with full kitchen in a quiet apartment complex. Perfectly positioned at the zoo end of Waikiki and only a couple of blocks walk to the beach. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are so very grateful for their hospitality. We had the most fabulous time in Honolulu staying here.

This little condo was wonderful. It was clean and centrally located. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was quiet and had lots of extra amenities such as a rice cooker and beach chairs. Communication was quick and friendly. Maja in the office one building over was super nice and helpful. The only downside was that the sofa bed was not comfortable enough to sleep on. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

This was our first time staying in Oahu and we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay than here. We got a gorgeous view of the mountains and the city, the place was clean and spacious. Staff members were more than welcoming to us. Highly recommended!!!!!

Perfect location as it was quiet but also within short walk to food, beach and the heart of Waikiki. The view from the unit was incredible and it is not often that you find a two bedroom in waikiki that is newly renovated. The building, itself, was a bit tired but the suite is great.

Pros of this rental:1. Location was great- eastern end of Waikiki. Close to the action, but a bit removed from the craziest part of the resort area. Very short walk to beach. Beaches nicer on this end of the strip and less crowded. 2. Unit was clean and generally nice. Had all the necessities. Kitchen was well-equipped. 3. Check in/out was easy and Captain Cook Resorts was responsive. 4. Pool and barbecue area were nice. Cons of this rental:1. The couch (advertised as a sleep sofa) was old and lumpy. We had planned to have 3 adults in this unit- 2 in the bedroom and 1 in the living area. The couch was not suitable for this purpose and needs to be replaced. We had to purchase an air mattress for the guest sleeping in the living area. 2. The water in the kitchen smelled bad. I did not notice this problem in the bathroom, only the kitchen.

For the Christmas holidays, we planned a trip with our two teen boys (16 and 19) for surfing in Hawaii. After booking, Courtney kept us informed of possible A/C repairs and generously gave a discount though it later turned out that the A/C repairs would be pushed back and would not affect our travels.We arrived to a nicely renovated, very clean condo with enough beds and towels for all of us. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots & pans, utensils, etc for us to cook our own breakfasts. The boy appreciated that the condo was close enough to the Wakiki beach them to walk about 10 minutes to rent surf boards. Please note though that the condo is located at the end/edge of Wakiki beach. Though it wasn't far for us to walk to the more central area for shopping and restaurants, it may be a little bit of a hike for younger ones. :-) Overall, it was a great experience for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It was very modern and clean place to stay with nice to haves, like the Britta water container and ice cube trays. We didn’t cook in the kitchen as we were on vacation and chose to go out instead but there was plenty of supplies available to cook in the comfort of your own condo.The location was great, walking distance to the beach, shopping and plenty of restaurants.i would most definitely stay in this place again.The only downside is that 1 bedroom for 4 people (2 adults, 19 year old and 17 year old) can be a little tough at times but we managed.We really enjoyed our stay here!!

Thank you to Chris and Sara for sharing their gem with us. The location is perfect…we feel it’s on the best end of Waikīkī Beach. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but this suite has been reno’d and is lovely….we would not hesitate to stay here again. Chris and Sara were responsive to our queries and willing to help, when we needed it. We had access to the pool, which we didn’t use, and the weight room, which we used daily…it had everything we needed, for a small hotel gym. We loved our morning views from the lanai and the evening walks along the strip….lots to see! We had a car and loved that this spot included free parking, thank you! Everything has been fantastic! The listing is even nicer in person than in photos— which is rare. It’s incredibly well appointed. Courtney left us a sweet note with a basket of coffee and snacks. There’s shampoo, conditioner, and soap, as well as dish soap, cleaning supplies and even laundry detergent. Extra towels and beach towels and chairs— literally everything you need! The bedding is lovely as are all the decorations. Everything worked well and the host has been incredibly helpful! Highly recommend this listing!

My mom and I came over to recuperate and heal up from the last 2 yrs of loss and grief our stay at the Astin Waikiki Sunset was just what the dr ordered. The condo was beautiful and clean with some of the best sunset views i have ever seen. The hosts were quick to respond whenever i reached out and when i asked if we could extend our stay they went to any length to accomodate us. Even comping a couple of nights. Highly recommend this place.

Just finished 3 weeks at Chris's condo. What a great spot - we stay at the Sunset or Banyan each year, and this time, it was at the Sunset. The condo was clean, functional and well equipped, and made our stay a breeze. There were 3 of us and the place worked quite well (even up to 4). The kitchen was fantastic - all you needed to cook - and the bedroom and bathrooms were as expected. The only slight negative is the sofa couch is not comfortable as a couch (didn't try it as a bed).Thanks Chris!

This was the perfect place for my family of four to stay in Waikiki. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. We loved being able to walk to the beach, shops, and activities nearby. My kids loved using the beach supplies. We loved our time here and really appreciated that it is on the East end of Waikiki near the beautiful Kapiolani Park with Diamond Head in the background. The view is nice.
It was clean, private and quiet (except for the street noise when the lanai door was open). The laundry area was clean and I never had to wait to use the machines. It's a great place to launch from while visiting Honolulu.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the AC is regulated by door sensors and the one on the lanai sliding door kept getting activated and turning OFF the AC in the middle of the night even though we were not moving the door.

Small condo but has everything you need. Bed in master was very comfortable. Location is everything and really nice to have parking. 2 blocks to great beach with safe swimming. Nice to not be by all of the crowds but able to get to the heart of Waikiki beach with a short walk. Highly recommend!

Overall it was a nice stay. Condo was a bit small but sufficient for three of us. A few minor issues like ice machine not working, limited hot water for showers and sofa doesn’t extend on one side into bed. Tv also not easy to operate either. Locations is good. Place was clean and well stocked. ac was good. Would be nice to have laundry but I don’t think those units have it. Parking was great no issues and quick to park and get to room (and included). Microwave blew on us and was promptly replaced. Overall I would recommend it was a good stay other than a few minor things noted above.Small but ok gym as well that has basics.

This was one of the best VRBO's I have stayed at. Great location just blocks from the beach. Beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs included. The building is older put this unit is prime. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed. We made use of the pool and grills.
