Loved the apartment! Close to the beach 1 block away, with shops near by. Many restaurants walking distance and easy enough to DoorDash food. The unit had shampoo and soap plenty of towels and toilet paper. Would recommend to any family. Free parking and ease of access. Keep in mind parking garage is small so don’t rent a tall car and parking big cars can be difficult but there’s plenty of parking didn’t have an issue finding a spot.

This condo was so clean and offered all the basic amenities. We really loved that this unit had parking included! This made doing our day trips very easy. Proximity to all of Waikiki was amazing. Building itself is on the older side though it is well maintained. The unit itself is modern and clean. We had 2 people staying but could easily have had at least 1 more with plenty of space. Check in was only confusing in that host wrote about check in via DM but didn’t include info about needing to sign in with building security. Otherwise everything was very clear and host was great at communicating. 2 of the beach chairs the host provided were broken but since there were only 2 of us, it was ok. We’re grateful those chairs were provided, so thank you!

Great view from the fourteenth floor. Lovely house. Clean. Minimart inside the complex and 5 min walk to abc store was great. 10 min walk to waikiki beach. Beds were very comfortable. Only issue I could think of is the a/c wasnt working well in the bedrooms but it was manageable.

What a great place to stay! The location is perfect. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants! Even the zoo! Courtney definitely thought everything through. Anything you needed was right there. The beds super comfortable. The checkin process was so smooth and received alot of information from Courtney and security at checkin! Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had all of the amenities we needed. It was close to the beach and close to multiple bus stops. It was centrally located. We were too busy sight seeing and did not go to the pool or fitness center, but could see the pool from the balcony and it looked nice. There was also a nice BBQ area (we did not use it). The mini mart had all of the essentials and food options with comparable pricing to the near by shops. A couple of treat options that we loved were rolled ice cream and the shaved ice right next to it. Dukes hula pie and tropical smoothie were amazing with live music. It was a fun atmosphere.

The Red Ginger is in the best location in Waikiki. If you are looking at the Red Ginger book it. The condo is small but it has everything you need, it is handy to an ABC store and a short walk to a supermarket. The owner was easy to deal with in answering my questions and requests. The site manager is lovely and also easy to deal with. I was fortunate enough to meet her when I arrived at the room.

This property was not in a great area. Homeless people sleeping right outside door. It is an OK place if you are a 20 year old boy on spring break. It was not good for me and my husband. The building has dirty stained carpets which continued on into the condo. It was very disappointing. We did not want to spend one minute in the place and asked if we could leave and get our money back. I did not hear from them until the next morning when they did offer a refund if we left. My husband said he was too tired to move our luggage so we stayed. We will never again trust vbros and just opt to stay in hotels..you never know what you are getting. The management company was always responsive, so that was nice. It was walkable to the main strip. It just seemed gross and dirty.

Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful accommodation central to everything Waikiki has to offer - next to Kapi'olani park with wonderful options for long morning walk/runs. The beach was so easy to walk to, lots of shops, restaurants and the Tucker & Bevy picnic shop so close by. Free parking was such a bonus. Laundry was easy to use. The place was stocked with the basics for a comfortable, hassle free holiday. The building management takes such great care of the pool and BBQ area, we saw them cleaning every morning. The space was furnished and decorated just as the photos - so soothing.

We had the BEST time staying at Courtneys condo! The location was perfect. Close to everything but didn't have to deal with any major traffic coming or going. The beach and the zoo are both quick 8 minute or less walks (and that's walking at a 4 year old's pace!) Having a parking pass was AMAZING! The condo itself was fantastic, check in and out was easy, and Courtney responded within seconds to a question that we had. The unit was stocked with plenty of towels, basic needs, and more. We loved having the beach toys and used the provided small cooler bag and ice packs daily for our adventures. 100% recommend! We will be back some day!

We are a retired couple and had 4 nights here. Overall we were very satisfied. The location was good and the place was very clean. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was adequately equipped but the toaster only toasted one side of bread at a time and the coffee maker was basic. There was a partial ocean view from the balcony but it was pleasant to sit there.

Fabulous location and cozy condo: we really enjoyed the location, such a close walk down to the beach and tons to do in surrounding area of Waikiki. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed and the building had a nice pool / deck area and fitness facility. The parking being included was a big plus as we had a rental car and parking is tough in that area of town. The rooms were a little small and some furnishings are showing signs of wear but we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

The location was great, but that's about all. The beds were too soft and pillows were flat, uncomfortable. No dish drainer to put dishes in after washing. Wrong size coffee filters. Couch was uncomfortable, pillows kept sliding out when you would sit on them. Check in was confusing.

As a frequent visitor to the islands, we were very fortunate to fine this condo. Not only were the owners very responsive to all my questions prior, but they also went above to make it a pleasurable stay. The condo is very spacious for 3 people, and the parking was a plus! The location is perfect away from strip and easy access to the freeway. If you have a student at UH Manoa, this is perfect/close location. My favorite part is having coffee on the lanai during sunrise almost every day of our stay.

First time staying at the Sunset property. While a bit dated, it offered everything we could possibly need for a two week stay. The place was clean, close to everything and the 6th floor recreation deck with pool was lovely. Property managers are always friendly, accommodating and helpful. Great location and property free parking!Nice view from 32nd floor!Overall, we appreciated the stay, but there are a few things future guests might want to know:The front door was quite difficult to open; my wife especially had trouble with it.There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to spend some time washing dishes by hand.The provided pans made cooking a bit challenging since everything tended to stick to them.The washing machine and dryer are located right behind the bedroom wall, and you can clearly hear them when they’re running.Essential beach equipment was available, which was great, but the beach umbrella was partially broken.

Perfect for our small family of three. Came to Waikiki to watch our nephew play football for U of Hawaii and grab a few waves in the process. Not a fancy hotel but comfortable condo apartment and very well priced with an ocean view of a legitimate surf break. Easy three block walk to a terrific sandy beach. Free and always available parking was crucial. My teenager bodyboarded at the jetty known as the Wall, my wife swam at the sandy Kuhio beach and I surfed the reef called Publics to the left. Beware of exposed coral at low tides at the surf break. If you're not an experienced surfer, better to walk a little further west to surf at Canoes. The condo building is on the less developed outskirts of town and the roosters start crowing before sunrise. But it beats the mania of tourist central. Friendly staff working the building and some low key residents who live there full time. The hallway carpet and paint could use some updating but our room was fine. Kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The towels were new and most of the kitchen utensils were new as well. The property manager was very responsive and I appreciated him walking me through the check-in process. Attaching two photos from the balcony. I wish the building to the south was not there but the gap between buildings was the exact look I needed for an assessment of the day's swell. The pool, workout room and BBQ patio area are definitely a plus. Very happy this unit was available!

The property is in an ideal location and the rooftop view is stellar! My host was the best I've ever had, highly communicative, helpful and kind! It is small, but I knew that as it was communicated clearly in the listing and the size was not a problem at all. I highly recommend staying at the Red Ginger!

This place was awesome! It was bigger and cleaner than expected, much thanks for that. The view is exactly as pictured, you get a wonderful view Diamondhead and the beach. One drawback is that the parking garage clearance height is only 6 feet. We rented a jeep and it was within millimeters of scraping on several occasions, and did end up scraping the top at least once. I saw other people having issues with the height as well. All things considered this was a wonderful place and just a few minutes walk to Waikiki Beach…

The location is great and we loved having the space we needed, including a kitchen. The view of Diamond Head can’t be beat. But the beds are ok (need new pillows), the furniture is worn, the cabinets are peeling and need to be replaced, and the fridge door handle is worn. (If not replacing the fridge, order a new handle.) This place has been worn hard and the owner needs to invest, especially since this please was not cheap. We had issues with the ac and the door lock and the property managers were responsive. The carpet leading from the elevator to the unit is just ick.
