It is within walking distance to most attractions and resturants. We had a car and parked close bye at Banyan Parking garage.
The bus stop is right accross the road and there are several food trucks close by.

The only thing I could suggest to improve the stay would be good instructions on using the television. We were unable to get the tv to work. The property was exactly as pictured. Communication with Peter was very easy. The room was small but we really only needed a place to sleep as we did not spend much other time there. Bed was comfortable. Our stay included everything we needed for the two of us. The only draw back is the parking. It can be challenging and if you find a spot in the basement lot, there are no in and out privileges. Keep that in mind when paying for your parking pass. The place is within walking distance to most everything you would need though. We would recommend this property.

Staying here allowed us to not need to rent a car (or find parking). We were 3 minutes from Waikiki Beach and we watched the sunrise on the beach a couple times. The room was quiet and clean. The A/C worked well. We loved either cooking or getting breakfast and bringing it to our lanai/balcony and eating breakfast in a the cool morning breeze. Peter was a great host!

The parking space for our minivan was initially a concern, but once we became accustomed to it, it was no problem. Having a parking space in Waikiki is always a definite plus! Amazing location - we could walk to the beaches and restaurants. The kitchen let us prep meals at home, which was fantastic. It was clean and ready, and the manager Peter was wonderful - very responsive and friendly. There was no problem getting in or with anything we needed.
A few things: the building is old and run down - from the outside I was a little worried. While there is a security desk, in the 9 days there I only saw someone at it once, so if that's important to you, know it's not really used. The building is sort of security, but people did walk in and jump in elevators that were already open (you need a fob to open the elevator in the lobby and to ride up, but not down).
There is no laundry facility available here, contrary to the pictures. The one that was attached to the building closed in April 2023.
The main downside for us was the furniture, which for us was uncomfortable. The mattress is very hard and felt old, and same for the pillows. The chairs for the dining table and patio were not comfortable, and the lighting in the apartment is very minimal, with no light over the table. The patio is tiny, and if you're spending a lot of time in the water like we did and you hang wet things over the chairs, there's no place to sit or stand outside. Hanging wet things on the shower rod just knocks it down since it's pressure mounted.
Overall it was totally fine for our needs but not amazing.

We had a great time! Here’s my honest review. The Pros-The unit itself is newly renovated and beautifully decorated. The A/Cs work great, the unit was very clean, the bathrooms are spacious and all 6 of us had hot water for every shower! We only had one key and Management was very quick to respond and get more to us. The location of the building is only a couple of short blocks from the beach and close to anything you may need. The unit has a Keurig coffee maker. Now for the Cons- the building’s elevator is terrible. It’s slow, small, creepy and one is always broken. (The elevator was the worst part of our stay) If you come with a car- the garage has a very tight entrance, low ceiling and very tight parking- we barely got in with our minivan-no larger vehicle would make it. The listing has washer/dryer listed in amenities but the unit doesn’t have one-there’s a laundry room on the 3rd floor -you have to load a special card or load an app to pay- very inconvenient. The street activity around the building was a bit sketchy- people doing drugs and selling drugs. I definitely wouldn’t go out alone- it is a big city after all. We always appreciate our starter packs but adding a dish sponge and coffee for the first morning with a few fixings would be a nice touch. Keurig cups were hard to find in the area- an additional standard coffee pot would be a great addition also. Overall we had a great stay.

This rental was absolutely perfect for our Hawaii vacation! Plenty of space, very well equipped with everything we needed including paper towels, soap, plenty of towels, extra blankets and bedding, with extras: beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella which were VERY appreciated and even laundry detergent (!). There is a great laundry on the 3rd floor, very helpful since we did get dirty traveling around the island. Location is central to everything, we could walk to tons of shops and restaurants and Lyfts come within minutes. Beds were very comfortable and the ac units worked great! Felt very safe, the key fob is required to enter the property. Also lots of kitchen amenities, we were able to cook and there were even coffee filters for us. Owner checked in on us several times, communications were detailed and organized. Loved every minute of our trip, so happy we found this gem of a place. This property was a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach. An ABC store is on the same block so you can easily get water and groceries. Food trucks across the street with Shrimp, Hawaiian style hot dogs, Poke and rolled ice cream super convenient. Coffee spot also open from 7-2. If you are on a budget and want a quick, cheap meal, McD’s a few blocks down the street along with Starbucks, breakfast spots, shopping. Rentals of beach equipment (surfboards, etc) also conveniently located. Bus stop across the street. you can buy a pass at the ABC store. Bus only $2.50/trip. Avid walkers will enjoy 4 mile RT walk to Diamond Head beach, a great surf spot away from the tourists.

This property is as perfect for what we were needing for our trip to Oahu. Like the other reviews it’s very quiet inside the room. The A/C worked very nicely in keeping our room cool for sleeping. Of course it’s Hawaii and there’s no point in hanging out around during the day unless you’re sleeping in which is likely because the bed was comfortable. The fridge and microwave are awesome add ins and nicely sized. We didn’t need to cook top. Bathroom was roomy for two. The shower was warm right from the start. Good pressure too. Lots of things to do in immediate vicinity, There’s an ABC store a hundred yards away and they have most anything you’ll need. We liked our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return should the chance come up again for a stay in Oahu.
You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Rooms are not so spacious. 2 queen bed, 1 sofa bed and 1 extra bed were enough for us 6 adults and 2 kids though. Maybe a little difficult for a family who has baby/infant because elevators are small which might be tight for strollers. ABC store is right around the corner. There are big hotels around that makes us easier to catch a shuttle for tour. The host is very nice. Always quick response. We were satisfied with staying here.

Second, when we walked in it smelled clean and the condo was perfect. It’s perfectly located in Waikiki. You can walk anywhere or hop on a bus. We paid for 24 hours … but, if we left within that timeframe, we weren’t guaranteed a spot when we got back. Also, be aware that the FOB (instead of a key or key card) is easy to lose. And it cost $60 to replace. We realize it isn’t the owner’s fault, it’s the property management’s rules. But something to consider or be cognizant of.

The kitchen … worked fine, needs tongs and maybe an extra paper towel roll. We had to use the bath mat to cover the threshold as it was a trip hazard. Came with a few beach accessories that came in handy. The laundry room worked great, thank you for the ride pods. Arrival was disappointing with chaotic lock boxes and a dirty, noisy, unwelcoming lobby. Security/check-in was friendly. Room was exactly as shown, clean, with basic amenities but only one fork in the flatware drawer. Cleaning personnel in adjacent rooms slammed doors repeatedly (frighteningly loudly) when we were trying to nap in the heat of the day. I chose this place as it was on the cheaper end of the price range and I wanted a little kitchenette to cook or have breakfast to help save on costs. Check in was a breeze (in fact, I was informed that I could check in earlier which was much appreciated) and as a lot of other reviewers have noted, Peter was a wonderful host - communicative in case there were any issues (there weren’t), without being overbearing.
I was there alone but this place would easily suit a couple as well. There is a little balcony which is great for drying wet towels etc. and having a meal at the end of the day. The bed was comfy, the aircon effective and the shower nice and strong - what more could a gal ask for! The location can’t be beaten either, with lots of little food carts right outside (it was nice to be able to eat these meals comfortably from the balcony rather than scoffing the food on the side of the road!) and of course a stone’s throw from the beach. Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay.

Kathy and Ty were great hosts and their property located 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach is perfect for families. We slept 4 adults and 3 teens easily. Parking is a pain in Waikiki, but this was great, although $25 a day, BUT you can park across the street near the vendors, and all night, if there's an open space. We did one night. Great communication with landlord. Lots of places to eat and of course VERY close to the beach. Felt safe with security there keeping an eye on things. It worked great our visit.

The location is unbeatable—literally a two-minute walk from the sands of Waikiki beach. The air conditioner is a lifesaver, and not too loud that you couldn’t sleep with it on (after spending some time around it). Access to the laundromat, car rental, and convenience store in the same building is a huge bonus. The unit was incredibly clean and the perfect size for a couple. Peter and Chelsea were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. We enthusiastically recommend staying here, and we definitely hope to be back!

Good location just a couple of blocks to the beach. A little noisy at night and food trucks next door exhaust comes into the room at night Building is old and a little tired but room had mostly been re-done. Drapes are sad, screen doors don’t work and stools at table are broken. The room was clean and met our needs. If you want luxury this is not the place, but for the price it worked out fine for us. ( We did report the issues to management)
