This condo was just as expected. The building was very quiet, felt safe and was close to everything in Waikiki, but was away from crowds. The pool was warm. We did not have a car, so used the trolley. Laundry room was nice.

We stayed recently at four pales after we decided to extend our trip. Vincent was very responsive if we needed anything. The condo is well stocked but is missing a few necessities in their kitchen. I would suggest that they do an inventory and replace a few things. Vincent did get us a can opener and baking sheets quickly but we did not want to bug him everyone we noticed something missing. It was not a big deal for us but it would be good for future guests.

When they say large balcony/lanai, they aren't kidding. It was almost too big! Very awesome to have that much space though. The rooms were very comfortable, and got plenty cool at night the the A/C on. The hosts were very helpful and easy to get a hold of even when a small emergency arose. Our biggest issue was the parking key card not working. This was never resolved the entire two weeks we were there, and it got a bit annoying to have to get the valet parking to open the gates for us every time. But those guys were very nice and opened it with a smile when needed. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend this room to friends or family coming to the islands.

Vents are dirty, washer and dryer are filthy, bathroom has rust, and table is wobbly. Carpet was fine but floors were dirty. Little communication from property management, and limited office hours to reach them.

This was by far the worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had. I booked a six-night stay but left after the 1st night due to the terrible condition of the property. I contacted the owner via email to share my concerns, but I never received a response—not even an acknowledgment.The photos are misleading. The property has popcorn ceilings, worn-out floors, visible stains, and a shower that is so old, you feel like you're in a campground shower (Thongs only). The bathroom had rust stains around the baseboards, and the cabinetry has a coat of white paint on the outside but old, brown wood inside. I didn’t feel comfortable using the utensils or glassware because of how unclean it felt.After one night, I couldn’t bear to stay any longer and moved to a hotel. I emailed the owner to let them know I had vacated and explained that the property wasn’t up to standard. I didn’t ask for a refund; I simply wanted to provide feedback. When I didn’t get a response, I followed up a few days later with a 2nd email—still nothing. No apology, no inquiry about what went wrong, no request for feedback—just silence.As someone who owns a VRBO property in Waikiki and employs a professional property manager, I find this level of neglect unacceptable. Good customer service isn’t dependent on how luxurious or budget-friendly a property is—it’s a basic expectation.Save yourself the trouble. Don’t book this property—not just because it’s in poor condition, but because the owner clearly doesn't care.

A very beautiful dwelling with a great view of the city and coastline from either balcony or the spacious deck. The place was clean and orderly and had a pleasant clean scent. The beds were simply made yet very comfortable. The AC units worked very well keeping our rooms at the appropriate temperature. The kitchen was clean and had all necessary cookware. Fridge was clean. Coffee pot worked and had included exact coffee grounds as described in the ad. Overall, our experience in this suite was pleasant and the place was accurately described. We will definitely consider staying in this suite next time we visit Honolulu.

My wife and I wrapped up a 2-week vacation with 5 days in Honolulu. Mark's & David's studio apt. was perfect for my wife and me. The pictures were accurate and the location was ideal, midway between Ala Moana mall and the east end of Waikiki, with great access to the beach and to buses. The view on the 19th floor was great for sunrises. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, glasses, cups, and other utensils, but a grocery run should be top of the list on day 1 (bus over to Don Quijote or Times). Tinted glass, and AC, kept the heat down. Overkill on the shower head, but the right amount of pressure. As a tech person, I greatly appreciated all the USB ports bedside for charging. Hotel valets were great, also. Thank you for hosting us (and for your patience).

Has everything you need, kitchen is great if you want to cook own meals. Grocery store Food Pantry is 7min walk, nice nearby beach is 5min walk, 20min walk to Waikiki beach. Decor is out dated but it’s no problem. We enjoyed our stay.

The desk clerk was so RUDE once he found out that we were with verbo and not “Elites hotel guests”. valet parking is $50 a night, It was frustrating because we rented a car based on the conservation with the host that it was $38 for 7 days. Now I get that it might not be their fault however when we found out the price was changed over 10 years ago (valet said so) the host just ignored us. The bathroom towels were run down and I recommend getting new ones. Great location!!

My daughter and i had a wonderful time. 4 nites on the island. My daughter loved having her own room and bathroom. And the terrace was amazing. We sat out there each nite. It also made drinking my morning coffee relaxing. The location is just a couple blocks from the beach. Each morning i would do my 3 mile runs. The path to the beach was like running through a botanical garden. We will definitely be back

We stay at Four Paddle twice a year and 1704 was our favorite until! Beautiful views, comfortable bed with enough pillows and extra blankets in the closet, comfortable couch in the living room, good solid furniture with lots of space for clothes etc, nice kitchen well equipped, we didn’t cook much but made our coffee, tea and toast in the morning. We love the location and the 24/7 security of the building. Great quiet place to stay for a week or a month, we always feel safe and comfortable, Four Paddle is a home away from home for us. Thank you Captain Cook for hosting us again, we will definitely be back again.

The stay was mostly fine. The listing was true to its description. It was a great location. However, we did end up seeing a roach there, so cleanliness could have been improved.
Also one thing I want to point out is that parking there is pretty cramped and if you do back in to a spot, be cautious of any ledges above. I ended up shattering my rental car’s rear window

This condo/hotel is on the western edge of Waikiki, with easy walks to the ocean and lots of shopping and dining. This unit is a bit beat up (chipped woodwork, patchy painting, etc.) but provided me with location, views and a place to cook. It was not as clean as one would hope, but not disgusting. For the price, I was more than happy to put up with some dust!

This was a wonderful location for a first trip to Oahu since Waikiki has so much to do and see. There were only 2 of us so the studio apartment size worked well. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom size was fine with some room to hold toiletries. The kitchen had the basics, even coffee filter (reusable and paper) and sewing kit! The wifi worked well. The property manager was easy to get ahold of if needed and quick to respond. There is pool and sauna access as a guest as well as an included parking spot (though, like much on the island, spaces are better suited for smaller cars and not large vehicles). I would recommend staying here again.

The condo has everything you need for your stay from a well stocked kitchen to cleaning supplies, beach chairs, coolers.

This condo was in a great location and the view of the ocean, while it is between the two towers of the Ritz is still very nice. The AC worked very well and the assigned parking on the 3rd floor was easy. We also thought the condo was spacious enough to move around without feeling 'tight' or small. The pool was very nice (slightly heated from AC exhaust!) but there is really not much shade at the immediate pool area. The carpet is obviously worn in some places. Management was very responsive to a couple of requests we had (broken vacuum immediately replaced with new). Nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. Would suggest cookware be replaced, some warped saucepans and peeling saucepans. Has a nice book lending area on 2nd floor. We had a really nice stay and would recommend.

Limited space for clothing/belongings. Never could figure out how to work television with its components so just used our personal devices . Car space is difficult to get in even with an economy car.

The place was just as described. The building is very secure and quiet. Super easy check-in and check-out process. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub, as well. Good location: walking distance to Wikiki beach and the other less crowded beaches to the west of Wikiki. Many choices of places to eat nearby. We would stay here again.
