View was as expected. Unexpected high rise construction directly adjacent to the building but no late activity. Clean unit and owner left books with every needed bits of info to operate existing electronics and manage should a storm arise.

Clean rooms and amenities, accurate to description. There was some convenient beach equipment in the apartment like towels, a snorkel, beach toys and a beach umbrella. The view was beautiful of both the ocean and Diamond head. The only issue was one of the elevators was out of service so the elevators were quite busy heading up to the top floor.

Steve's condo is all the ideal place for a couple requiring a great location. It is easy walking distance to the beach, to numerous food outlets, and public transport.Steve is extremely approachable and he will answer any of your questions promptly and accurately.The condo is well appointed and has a homely feeling.I'd recommend this to everyone. Clean, had most everything we needed, good ocean view, close walk to ocean, lots of restaurants, shopping, music close by. Panorama view from roof and nice pool. Food across the street very good. We are very happy we booked our wonderful 29th floor corner condo through Vrbo. It was perfect for us, including the central Waikīkī location. The views of the ocean and skylines are spectacular! We enjoyed walking along the beach and to the many great shops and restaurants along Waikiki's strip--Kalakaua Avenue. The kitchen had everything we needed. We made three "home-cooked" breakfasts and really enjoyed eating them out on the large wonderful balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The AC was a huge plus. Parking in densely populated Waikiki is challenging at best so we were glad we paid the 35 per 24-hour period for parking in our Pacific Monarch parking garage. Communications with our host were excellent! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this apartment because of the views, the amenities of the building (pool, BBQ, sauna and hot tub), the cookware & supplies. The bed was on the firm side but tolerable. Water pressure was very good. As mentioned in many reviews the a/c is noisy and should be replaced, but it kept the room comfortably cool at night. During the day there are strong breezes which were nice through the many open windows. The owner failed to let the front desk know we were coming and his emails are “no-reply”, so we were delayed at check in, but we would stay here again.

I appreciated my stay - the internet was great, the AC unit was quiet as was the area surprisingly for being downtown Waikīkī, the space was a perfect amount for me, and the blinds on the windows were awesome! They work better than the ones I have at home!The fridge was smaller but perfect for a couple meals and drinks.The Pacific Monarch does have washers/dryers available on site but I did have to exchange cash for quarters to be able to use those facilities - luckily the front desk was more than happy to help!The little touches like beach chairs, a cooler, a dirty laundry bag, and some complimentary welcome snacks were very nice as well.

This is my third stay at Steve’s condominium, and - as usual - it was spotless, well appointed, and this year had new drapes and upholstered chairs. It is a block to the beach ( but also has a roof top pool ), is walking distance to numerous eateries, and is across the street from a main bus run ( you don’t really need a car ). Steve is readily accessible and answers all queries promptly.One caveat ( which is obviously not under Steve’s control ) : the building’s elevator system is being renovated over the next 10 months, with only two elevators serving a 31 story complex. So you can sometimes ( eg 8:00-noon ) expect some VERY long waits. That said, everyone seems to be pretty good natured about it. Just remember you are on Pasifika time !

Checked out @ 11:00am on 8/24/25.Condo was Great. Thanks again for providing a Keurig coffe maker. The only negative was that it took about 2 hours for the bathtub to drain.

I have stayed in the same building a few times and this place was by far the best one so far. It was very clean, one of the best things was the view. My kids loved sitting out in the lanai. The only con was that there was a noise in the living room, it wasn’t much of an issue for us but if someone was sleeping in the living room you might want ear plugs if you want a good night’s sleep. I understand this is out of the host’s control but I figured I could warn you just in case you’re a light sleeper. Overall, we would stay here again.

The property looked as described in the photos, but there was a cockroach infestation. We had dozens of them come out every night, they were coming out of the cabinets, under the fridge, and by the sinks. We contacted the host about it, but didn’t get a response till 3 days later. We left early and booked a hotel. German cockroaches, and tons of them.

Well appointed with amazing views, on site parking (extra charge, but reasonable), convenient to beach, short drive to UH. Hosts were great to work with and quick to respond when contacted. No Wifi access, routers are unplugged, you need to use phone data as next wifi access point is too far to join.Air-Conditioning in main room leaks water onto electrical power board and floor, raised with administration, was told a technician would attend though never turned up. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.Room is a bit below average, overall good size room, nice bathroom and kitchen, nothing to get too excited about. Needs a bit of fixing up.Sofa bed has seen better days, needs a real good clean and new bed base.Overall okay if you want a bit of room and a view, though the lack of A/C and no Wifi makes you look around.

My husband and I along with an 18 y/o stayed in this unit for 1 week. Brother in laws family of 5 were in another unit but we were able to gather in ours for dining and watching movies together. Loved the ocean view which would be seen from the main living /dining / kitchen area and also from the bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Made use of the provided beach chair, towels, umbrella boogie board and inflatable floats. Loved that laundry soap was provided as we used the downstairs laundry facility twice during the week. Location is 2 blocks from the beach and there are many dining options close by.

Room matched the description and was clean. I was not impressed by the small window unit used to cool the unit. The air was not on prior to our arrival so it took several hours to cool down. Window tinting or heavy drapes may help with the radiant sun heat, but overall the unit met our needs, just 2 blocks from the beach

Perfect for a 10 day stay. Clean and nicely decorated. Two balconys one facing east and one south to aviod the sun. Nice pool and great hot tub. Close to everything incloding beach, grocery store, buses. Only liability was lack of cable tv. Would stay again
