The Pacific Monarch building is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of entertainment and dining options nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. Lastly, this building has easy access to public transportation such as the many nearby bus stops & Biki rental bike stands.
The quality of workmanship in this newly renovated unit is close to perfection. Just some of the upgrades include: custom travertine floors, floor-to-ceiling travertine tiled bathroom, custom quartz countertops, and full quartz backsplash in the kitchen. As well as custom-built interior mahogany doors with frosted glass, and new exterior windows and sliding doors (including tinted bedroom glass).

This condo was exactly as described. People in the building were friendly. Perfect location. Kitchen was well stocked. Balcony was a great hangout spot. Bed was ridiculously comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. One and only hiccup was the door code didn't work, but left message and Lei got back to us with a solution very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Window washers came during our stay which made our view very clear! Building turned off the water during one of our days, but we weren't impacted much by that.

This place is wonderful! High enough off the street to sleep well and in the heart of everything. Clean and well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nice bathroom and sweet lanai. 2 blocks to the beach and just a few blocks to all the shops and restaurants. Food trucks right around the corner.

Breakfast every morning on the lanai, with views of Diamond Head and Waikiki were stunning. The condo had just about everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach. The building is older and the elevators are slow but a small price to pay for what you get in return. The pool area is also quite nice (and in the very top floor - 32 stories up!) The room’s little A/C does a remarkable job keeping the room cool on days where the breeze isn’t cutting it. If you don’t like a firm bed, you may have trouble with the main bed here (I actually liked it) and the mattress in the pull out is a very comfortable tempur-pedic type. And it’s quite big! If we visit Waikiki again, this condo will be at the top of our list.

The property is what's described on the listing. Very convenient to everything and the view was everything. The rooftop pool and view was great as well. I really only used the room to sleep and shower but having a full kitchen equipped with everything was a plus. I also loved they had all your beach supplies for use if you didn't bring your own. I would definitely book again if available when I visit again.

Great location, beautiful view, super easy to get around. Only problem I had was the party/company that owns the apartment gave us the wrong door code and we were stuck in the hall way that was 80-90° for over an hour because no one would respond. I emailed them days before our visit,no response, called before our flight, no response. I would definitely stay at this location again because it's worth it but have issues with the lack of communication with company that owns it. Not a nice way to start a vacation after a long long flight.

Beautiful condo with great balcony - off the main strip so partial ocean view but much quieter (more relaxing). Building has other amenities, including lounge which we used for our group to celebrate a birthday. Central location surrounded by good restaurants and coffee places. Super easy check-in and amazing communication. Recommend if you want to be near the action but don’t want to pay resort prices.

If you’re looking for a condo getaway that is within easy walking distance of everything in Waikiki this place is great. The balcony views are awesome! Downside of being in the middle of everything is that it is pretty noisy. But they do have good windows so you can close them and it is quieter. Nice layout and fairly new tile, kitchen cabinets and bathroom finishes. When we checked in the window shades cords were broken, but when I informed management they repaired them the next day. I would definitely come back here!

This was our second stay at a place at the Pacific Monarch in Honolulu and this apartment was a step above the other. Pristine new kitchen with a breakfast bar, nice couch and TV setup, lovely balcony with afternoon shade, comfortable bedroom, and most important - good strong air/conditioning. The building is a bit older, but condo is updated and extremely clean! Location is prime, and easy to walk to beach, shops, access to main roads, etc. Would love to stay here again! While the apartment (and hotel) could use a little cosmetic sprucing up, it turned out to be a cozy, comfortable and charming place. The 29th floor, corner lanai had excellent views of Lē'ahi, the ocean (with early morning surfers) and the Honolulu hillsides glistening with lights after sunset. The space is tight for 3 people, but the layout is functional and pleasing to come back to after a long day; sunsets on the lanai were particularly relaxing. The location was perfect for us: 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach, the International Marketplace, and more shopping than you could ask for up and down the main streets. With all the resorts, restaurants and Happy Hours in the area, there was always something to do and to see. And when things got too hectic, there was always the 29th floor lanai to get above it all. Can't comment on the hotel amenities or the beach extras in the apartment; we didn't use them, but they were available. Bus access was immediately across from the hotel entrance, so it was easily used to get to areas further afield (including the Pearl Harbor Memorial); between it and readily available Ubers, we never felt the need for a car the entire stay. All in all, it was a very relaxing, enjoyable stay in a lovely place - enhanced by the Friday night fireworks and the Everlasting Summer Festival. We hope everyone else has an equally enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic time staying in this condo. It’s in a high rise building on the 29th floor, which provided some excellent views of the city and the ocean. There was a fully stocked kitchen, A/C unit, a balcony with furniture, and a ton of beach equipment including umbrella, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc. The lobby is on the ground floor, the parking levels are on levels 2-5, and the rest of the hotel is above that. Parking is $30 a day and the hotel will give you a card that opens a gate from the street. You need a room key to access the elevators, so the building seems pretty secure. There is a pool on the roof which has a 360 view of the cityscape, so amazing when the sun is setting. Waikiki beach is an easy 2 blocks away, no need to drive there. I came to Hawaii with my husband and my infant daughter, and we would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed this condo. The location was perfect, the condo was very clean and had the amenities we needed for our 6 day stay, and I always had a place to park. My only negative was that the slider door lock and a window lock were broken when we arrived- the only importance to this is that my daughter sleep walks and I was worried she might open them in her sleep. I notified the owners and they fixed it same day! We would definitely stay here again.

The 1 bedroom suite at the Pacific Monarch was spacious and relaxing. The kitchen at this location was well equipment with all the kitchen essentials & more. We made breakfast every morning and wound eat out on the balcony with beautiful ocean & Diamond Head view. We had a week stay and had towels to last us about half a week, we would wash the towels mid week for the remainder of the stay. Laundry located in 3rd floor in the parging garage and is three per load. The suite has a big refrigerator to fit all your groceries and plenty of pantry space. Pots, pants, utensils, cups, plants, and gadgets were all clean. The unit has a dishwasher, microwave and oven making it very convenient if you want to cook. The king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the queen sleeper sofa and spacious for our 2 children. The suit had beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear(for 2), coolers, and beach boards. The beach accessories were a HUGE plus. The hotel has gates parking garage for thirty a day. The parking feels safe as you need to call the front desk to enter the garage. The hotel has 3 elevators 2 of which will only go to the rooms and 1 elevator will only go to parking floors. This can become a headache during busy times of the day but just plan ahead and give yourself an extra 5min for elevator wait time. Broom and vaccum were readily available in the room for light cleaning if needed. We loved everything about this property! The only small issue was a few ants but nothings major. Keep food covered and put away. We recommend this property 100%. The property manager offsite was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. There is plenty of restaurants within walking distance and right outside the hotel as well. The property also has security guard infront of elevator so this made us feel safe. You will need key card to access elevators from parking garage and elevator from the lobby.

My wife and I stayed six nights in February 2022. The location was as advertised and the unit was terrific. The unit has views on two sides and we loved the hanging out on the balcony. It's a little loud at night -- despite being on the 29th floor -- but if you like being downtown Waikiki this is a great place.

The view was great, the Lanai was large and had a couch and two chairs. The unit was very nice and updated. The parking garage was separate from the booking but the check in staff and security staff were very helpful with the details on where to park and how to display your tag.
