The location and layout of unit, with its lovely lanai/balcony, was great.It is a very short walk to Waikiki Beach.The kitchen is well stocked and we used it extensively. The building and unit are a bit dated and could do with a remodel.The WiFi didn’t work and we had issues with the cable tv (which turned out to be a blessing as we unplugged for the week)Overall, I would recommend this place

This condo was perfect for my family's needs for our trip. The location cannot be beat. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. The condo was clean and cozy with great amenities. Mayu was very responsive to all questions that I had and left a nice welcome book with restaurant recommendations! We hope we can stay here again during our next visit to Hawaii!

This is an excellent location, and a cozy, comfortable space for 3-4 people. It provided all the amenities and supplies we needed for a great vacation - towels, kitchen, shampoo and soaps. The beach is only minutes walk away, along with all the shopping one would need and more. Parking was safe, easy and helpful. A great option to have your own space to prepare a few meals, and enjoy some quiet time.

This was a mother/daughter vacation to celebrate my daughter’s 29th birthday. She picked this property and it was absolutely perfect. So close to the beach and the view was beautiful. It was my first time in Hawaii and I don’t think I could have ended up at a better spot. I was taking a course which was only a 2 minute walk. Every morning they have fresh lemon water for you to fill your water bottle, the room was very cute with an amazing view. AC works well, only downside is side is it blows right on you all night. Kitchen had a plug in hot plate so I was able to make myself eggs each morning and a Keurig for coffee. Rooftop has a beautiful pool and hot tub as well they have a very cool lounge area with pool table. Price was well beyond reasonable for every thing you get. Bed and pillows were so comfy, although a duvet would be much nicer for a blanket. Only complaint which is likely not on them is the wifi was very choppy and cut out a lot as well as taking the elevators some days was painfully slow, however I did notice on my last few days a pos tin the elevator saying they’re upgrading them. This location really can’t be beat! Very pleased, I spent 2 weeks here and loved every single night. I was a solo female traveller and always felt safe here. Nothing could beat having breakfast with that view, opening the doors and enjoying the fresh Hawaii air!

Views views views! We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for what we needed for this trip. Really great lil kitchen! Rooftop pool & deck is awesome, we can’t believe we missed out our first couple days there, we didn’t realize how amazing it would be up there! Nightlife outside is very loud and active, so bring your earplugs. But it’s in fine trade for the great walkability & views. Our process in/out was simple, and host is super communicative and wonderful! We’d definitely stay there again!

You know, I liked the Pacific Monarch quite a bit. The room was clean and bright with tall windows facing both the beach and to the side. Everything was clean and neat and I used a couple of K-cups in the kitchen. We mostly ate out but used the small dining room set a couple of times.We used the hot tub on the roof a couple of times as well as the pool. Plus, it was an easy two-block walk to Waikiki Beach.The only knock I have is check-in and the parking situation. The sign for Pacific Monarch is past the garage so I drove by the garage entrance while trying to figure out where to go. Once directed, we had to go around the block to the garage and only then did I see the "guest parking" spots. OK, fine, that's a one-time thing. But then every time you want to enter the parking garage, you have to get out of the car and ask the front desk to open the gate. There doesn't appear to be a sensor or camera to notify them; you have to leave your car and ask. We started taking taxis because we didn't want to deal with the parking gate and Oahu traffic.One suggestion I would make to the Host is to add a small shoe rack, or shoe mat, plus a small bench to sit and take off your shoes right inside the door.Otherwise, we were very happy with this VRBO and would rent there again. In the heart of Waikiki, close to everything, minutes from the sand. Great view of the ocean and mountains. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed and there are beach chairs and umbrellas. The lanai was spacious and a perfect place for meals. The elevators were fast with hardly any wait time. Building wise, it is a very convenient location, easy to walk to lots of places including the beach. The rooftop pool/hot tub/cornhole area was really nice, too. The elevators are extremely slow in the building though there are signs posted that they are working on upgrading them. Parking onsite is expensive and the parking garage in the building is a tight space, so best to get a smaller sized vehicle.The unit itself is on the 13th floor and has beautiful views. The photos of the unit make it appear more spacious than it feels and the kitchen area is very small. The dining chairs felt and sounded very unstable, like they might break while we were sitting in them. The shower area is in need of caulking/repair and we could not figure out how to make the tub fill, so our kids took showers instead of baths.There were lots of pool/beach items provided in the unit that were useful - towels, snorkeling gear, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The owners of the unit also own a restaurant a block away, so they are available and local.

The beach view was spectacular! And while this can fit 3 adults, it's a better property for parents and their kids. The bathroom is small and the water pressure almost painful. But the kitchen was well stocked, the balcony peaceful, and really, you're getting this location for the room which cannot be beat!

We've stayed in many different places in Hawaii over the years including North Shore House on the beach, Moana Surf Rider, Outrigger, and other condos in Waikiki. As far as Condos, this was by far the best. Its an older building and unit, but as a top floor corner condo with a large linai with awesome view, windows on two sides, it felt spacious and airy. The elevator was generally fast with direct access to the garage, and the walk to our favorite spot on the beach super close. Would absolutely return.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary- here is my honest review:Pros:Nice view- obstructed but that was to be expctedHuge balcony2 beach chairs included for usePool and hot tub were nice.Great location to Waikiki beach- 4 min walk to Target- lots of food and shops within walking distanceCons-Check in time on VRBO listed as 3pm- once i got the "boarding pass" sent to me closer to the date, it said check in time was 4pm. Only 1 beach towel in unit- we didn't bring any because it said some were there, ended up buying 2. Absolutely zero place to put your clothes away- we lived out of our suitcase the whole time we were there.Biggest issue of all- the heat. I didn't know we weren't going to be able to turn the AC below 70 degrees until i got my check in info. Had i known that- we would NOT have stayed there. When we walked in, the AC was set on 75 and there were 2 box fans and stand fan in use, pointing to the bedroom- not a good sign. We turned the AC down to 70 and closed the blinds- there goes the view. Left for several hours and when we came back late that night it was still too hot to sleep in the bedroom. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor in the living room and that's where we spent our 10 year anniversary trip- on the floor. It never cooled to a comfortable level in the apartment. IF you like it 70 or above- this is fine. But if you need it below that- this is NOT the place for you.

We loved our stay here! Within the first hour of us checking in, we received a message from the host ensuring that our check in process had gone smoothly. We found our room nice and clean (and I am particular about a clean floor). The view is even better than it looks in the photos and it felt convenient because we were able to watch the sunset right from our room. We loved that we were so close to the beach and tons of food trucks. In addition to the mini toiletries in the bathroom, they have sunblock (including reef safe). The internet connection was stable and the area felt safe. If we ever return, we will be staying here again!
