My wife was what did you book when she seen the elevators and hallways, looks like they just painted and the walls were bare no pictures or anything. The elevators had padding on the walls. They are doing updating and the pads was to keep the wall protected from the construction crews. (I would recommend them just use one of the three elevators for the construction crews. and take the padding off the other two) The rental was everything we needed and was awesome. The free parking was the big selling factor.

Clean. Full kitchen..stocked with housewares. Great views. Bathroom on the smaller side. Lanai looks out to mountain and oceans. Close to main strip. We did not rent a car. Everything in walking distance.Beach was one block from property. Pool on 6th floor very nice. Great place to stay.

The unit was conveniently located near the beach and the included parking was great. It was nicely renovated and looked just like the pictures. The unit may look a little larger in the pictures than in person, but we still felt comfortable with 4 adults. I would encourage others to book this unit. The pool/recreation deck renovation was wrapping up during our stay and looks great!

The property was okay. Nothing spectacular. I’ve stayed at other units within the complex and they were a lot nicer. Had more upgraded features and the kitchen was stocked with more cooking essentials. This unit had the bare minimum to get by. Shower was nice and bathroom was up to date. Coffee maker was provided upon request and was given a 4 cup maker which was too small so we ended up going to Starbucks on the corner. The unit had a Keurig which we didn’t. Beds were too short as we found our feet were hanging off the ends of it. For the price of the condo, it should be a little nicer.

The room, bathroom, living room, and kitchen was clean and organized. Host was amazing, respond to all my messages and updated me on what’s going on in the building. You will be close to the recreational area and the lights stays on all night so I recommend bringing black out curtains or sleep mask.

Good price for a Waikīkī condo! We really enjoyed the use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. (A lot of snorkel gear and other beach toys were available which we didn’t use). The building is very secure but there is only one key fob that allows you access to the building so if you have multiple people in your party that want to do different things that makes it difficult.

Great views, comfortable space, beautiful hotel, easy access to laundry room as it sits right next to the unit. Quiet space and very functional for a couple wanting privacy and a sofa bed for the kiddos. A short walk to great restaurants, Kuhio beach (which is excellent for kids and those not wanting to deal with coral or rip tides). Looking forward to returning.

Great condo with excellent amenities and a very walkable location. It was perfect for families, with plenty of space, and they provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The washer and dryer, full kitchen, and hot-tub/pool/rec area access all added to it being a great home base.Communication with the host felt a bit impersonal since it is managed by a company rather than one person, but self check-in and check-out were easy, and we had no issues during our stay.I do want to call out the sadness that the company is named “Captain Cook.” Given the violence and harm tied to Captain Cook’s history in Hawaiʻi, It would be a great idea to consider changing the name.Overall, we would definitely stay again, Thanks!

My Family and I enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyan on the 26th floor. The condo unit was very clean and bright with a fabulous view of Diamond Head, Koko Head from afar and the beach. A very relaxing unit that also included a parking spot for the rental price.The location is perfect with just a block away access to Waikiki Beach and shops.The check-in and check-out went smoothly. The instructions were concise. Communications with the staff from Captain Property was great both via Text and direct Call.I will definitely return and recommend to Family and Friends.

Overall a great stay and not bad for the price. Stayed for 5 nights with 3 other adults. Aside from a few things that could improve like the refrigerator door handle being broken but recently glued back together and then broke again, bottom dresser drawer broken, sticky floor upon arrival, and air conditioner not the easiest to figure out how to use and not the most powerful, beds were firm, and sliding door to the balcony is very heavy to move, it still wasn’t bad. The location is excellent and a short walk to the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony of the you look to the left. Construction was completed before we arrived which was unexpected so we got to enjoy the swimming pool on the 6th floor and having a free parking spot in the garage was a life saver. The price for all of this is an excellent deal so it’s easy to overlook the few things that weren’t perfect and they didn’t impact our stay. We still had a great time and would very likely stay there again.

Has roaches and that should have been stated. The 7 bait traps under the sink cabinet prove you knew it was a problem. Other than that it was ok. The trash people are loud as can be so good luck getting rest. And the guy that was so rude trying to fight my husband over where to put trash was a joke. We had a pretty poor experience

After a couple of days In the Condo we noticed that the a/c unit was not cooling. We reached out the Condo management company and received a response almost immediately! The called several times throughout the process of getting the a/c unit checked. After the inspection they determined that the unit needed to be replaced. They had it replaced within 8 hours !

The condominium is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Mike is excellent in communicating and is quick to respond. Check in and departure details are thorough and easy to follow. Parking is fantastic and we’re amazed that there is no charge. That’s an huge savings. Easy walk to the beach. I enjoyed walking along the Ala Wai each morning. the Waikiki Banyan VRBO was a perfect place for our stay in Hawaii. Close to the back routes and freeway to get to relatives and an easy walk to the beach or Waikiki to see the activities. love having the kitchen area, so we can make breakfast and store our beverages and some food. Midway was also very prompt when we had a minor issue, they came quickly and fixed the issue. And of course to have a parking spot is a major plus. We will definitely come back and stay again. Wonderful, cozy space with a neat view overlooking the canal, a golf course and a subdivision on a hill. Comfy beds & choice of pillows. I liked that the property wasn't centered in the crowded area. Short walk to the beach & ocean (not a problem for my 80 year old mother). Appreciated the kitchen space and island since we like to prepare the majority of our meals when we travel. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this location. It was close enough to the action without being burdened by it. We had a rental car for the entire week, so having parking included was a giant bonus. Parking is crazy in Waikīkī! Loved the fact we were a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 blocks from a main road (Kapahulu Ave) to get us where we wanted to go when it came time to explore the island.The room itself looked exactly like the pictures posted online. The view of the mountains/clouds from the balcony were amazing at times.Our host had excellent communication and made everything easy to understand. We will definitely return here the next time we’re in Oahu.

We experienced several issues during our stay at the condominium. The front door would not lock properly unless it was pushed tightly closed, and the keypad was not functioning when we arrived, requiring us to call for the default code. (The host was very quick to get this resolved which was appreciated)The bathroom door also did not close completely because the rear roller is off the rail. The beds need replaced they were both very small for 2 adults and were very uncomfortable. One of our biggest concerns was that the pool has reportedly been closed for a year, yet this was not disclosed anywhere prior to booking nor after. We found this out while we were on our flight to Hawaii. Had we known this in advance, we would not have chosen to stay here, this was very disappointing.The shower drain also emptied very slowly. We were informed that suv vehicles would fit in the garage area, but our rental vehicle did not fit. The response we received was simply to find overnight parking elsewhere, which in most nearby locations costs approximately 35 per night.That said, the building’s management company was very accommodating and allowed us to park our rental vehicle on the main floor area normally reserved for owners, which we greatly appreciated.

Communication with Cathy was great from the start! She was very clear with instructions and easily reached throughout the entire process. The property was very clean with a great view of the mountains. By opening the windows in the kitchen ad bedroom, we were able to get a nice cross breeze going and didn't need to use the AC at all!We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of amenities Cathy had prepared (especially the cabinet with sunburn relief spray and extra sunscreen). From coolers with frozen ice packs to beach chairs and snorkel gear, the property had everything we needed to ensure our time in Hawaii was memorable. Everything was neatly labeled and well organized.The location was perfect. Just far enough away from the main street to avoid crowds, but close enough to walk to all the restaurants and beaches nearby. Parking our rental car in the garage was easy, and the security guards are very friendly. (You can park all the way on the left side and take the tower 2 elevators from the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floors instead of walking the lobby)We would definitely stay here again!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The room met our needs very well. Do have to wonder why there is two microwaves in the room? The one on the counter uses up all the counter space. The central location to all of our needs and the views of the beach and diamond head were great. The night club really wasn’t that much of noise problem but the traffic on the street was, still slept very well. Would come back again

Awesome stay - rented through Captain Cook rental agency, and they helped us move to another, more spacious unit in Fairway Villa after communicating that power was undergoing maintenance due to recent storms. Unit had a great central location, was clean, and had great amenities (kitchen, beach supplies, laundry, etc). Management was professional/ check in and out was smooth. Parking being included was a huge plus. Only feedback is we noticed the air vents were dusty/due for a cleaning. Overall fantastic stay though, would return and recommend!
