Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo and would definitely love to come back!The unit was exactly as pictured – bright, clean, updated, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, shoppings, restaurants, and close to everything . The beds were comfortable, and the condo had everything we needed for our trip.We especially appreciated all the thoughtful extras, including the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and pool/beach towels. Those little touches made our beach days so much easier and more enjoyable.One of our favorite features was the amazing view of Diamond Head and the ocean. We loved waking up to the beautiful scenery each morning. The pool, hot tub, and BBQ area on the 6th floor were also wonderful amenities. It was especially nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day exploring and enjoying the beach.The free parking was a huge bonus, as parking in Waikiki can be both challenging and expensive.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Waikiki. We hope to return again in the future!

The apartment was clean and is big. it's close to waikiki beach. But the kitchen was missing the forks and spoons, .We had to buy some plastic cutlery.The same for the beach towels we never founded. The toilet got clogged on the second day.The air conditioner was leaking water onto the terrace floor ,we had to use our towels to keep the floor dry to prevent and accident. The microwave!!! The only way to open the microwave door is by unplugging it in and plugging it again . .Our stay was very short only 2 nights. We contact the owner to ask for the silverware and the towels the fist night and we got and answer the next day after noontime so we solve this problems by ourself. On The bath room ,the soap dispenser was empty. I recommend that the apartment owner change maintenance staff to keep it in good condition.

Perfect Vacation The condo deserves more than 5 stars. We rent condos & houses when we travel and this is one of the BEST! It was sparkling clean & well equipped (dishwasher soap, plenty of paper products & shampoo, conditioner & shower gel were greatly appreciated) with everything we needed to be comfortable & prepare meals. We enjoyed the views of Diamond Head & the ocean from every window. The close proximity to the beach along with the provided chairs & umbrella made beach days a breeze! The recently renovated pool/spa deck is amazing too. Having parking included was a plus! Shari was easy to communicate with from start to finish. This will be our base when we visit family here!

Good location and proximity to Waikiki beach. Having a parking pass was nice if you plan to rent a car. Property is a little dated and furniture not as nice as the listing pictures. AC unit might be undersized for the space and it was difficult to fully cool down the space, particularly with the rules that it needs to be shut off when not in the unit.

Our stay was overall a good one. One thing I’d like to point out that this company doesn’t exactly advertise on VRBO is that you’ll be responsible for washing your own towels and linens if you have a long stay, which is pretty insane for the amount of money you spend. No one wants to use the same towel/beach towel for 9 days in a row or sleep on the same sheets. It’s a humid environment and towels and sheets get gross and need to be washed when you’re using them daily. That is really my only complaint about our stay and feel it’s important to point out in my review. The washer and dryer each cost 4 per pop. Just be aware of this when factoring your budget. You can order more from them but it’ll cost you. Other than that, the condo was clean and just as described. The location is wonderful and you can walk to almost anything. I would stay here again, even knowing the situation with the towels/linens.

This property was top notch with cleanliness, comfortability, and location! My husband and I enjoyed everything about this condo. This condo was thought out with care for it's clients and returning clients. The view was amazing. To sit on the couch and view the mountains was a site in itself. Cathy has this condo stocked with everything you would need for an amazing stay. I couldn't believe all that was in this condo from things you may have forgotten to things you may have not thought to bring like (umbrella) lol... Let's talk about the communications. Very clear and concise with everything. She has a manual in the condo that answers every question that you may have. The onsite pool area was just as relaxing as the beach. We spent some time at both the pool and beach! Remind you she has all the beach necessities that you may need so no need to bring any. Also I would like to mention that this condo is in a prime location with the beach being down the street. Let's talk about being close to several ABC stores and restaurants. One helpful piece of information is that The Waikiki trolley runs nearby too. Cathy we will be back and you can bet that we would choose your condo again on our next stay. Our stay here was only "OK." Check-in was easy, but it's unclear why we had to call the property manager when all they did was text us the code to enter the room. Perhaps just message the codes the morning of check-in? The unit appeared just as described in the ad, but everything needed a refresh. The kitchen sink handle came off making it difficult to use, and the bathroom and shower fixtures were old and needed to be replaced. The Toto washlet was a nice touch, as was the in-unit washer and dryer. The sliding doors separating the bedroom from living area constantly came off the track and were difficult to move. The AC unit struggled our entire visit and leaked water constantly in front of the sliding glass door on the lanai - needs to be replaced. Part of the reason for the insufficient cooling was that when using the dryer, I could feel the hot air venting through the top of the dryer into the room. The curtain rod over the sliding door was basically hanging off one end and also needs to be replaced. The only sofa in the unit is old and sagging - needs to be replaced. There was also a problem with insects - ants were found not only outside on the lanai along the sliding glass door, but also inside along the sliding glass door. One day, I opened a kitchen cabinet and a roach fell on me! After informing management of this, they left some ant and roach baits; however, too little, too late - these should have already been inside the unit. Not sure I would stay here again.

Our stay was disrupted when a storm flooded our 30th-floor unit, with water entering through the windows and ceiling in this 38‑story building. Property management delayed sending maintenance to assess the damage, and after the assessment it took several hours before we were offered an alternate apartment. While we waited, the power went out for several hours, briefly returned so we could prepare a quick meal, then failed again.At 1:00 a.m. the fire alarm sounded. We descended 28 flights and stood on the street for several hours with no communication from property management about the situation or expected timeline. Around 2:30 a.m. other residence stated migrating to the front entrance, again without any staff updates or direction; we then waited more than 45 minutes for the only operating elevator to return to our apartment. A custodian told us the building power would not be restored for over two weeks. The next morning we cut our trip short by three days and left.The storm caused significant disruption, and while the support staff and the apartment’s location and condition were excellent, property management’s response left much to be desired.I would like to commend the customer service representative, Kayla, for her diligence in assisting us with locating a new apartment and handling the revision to our stay. She remained cool-headed, pleasant, professional and helpful during a time when our tempers were starting to run a little high. Thank you, Kayla!

After previously staying at the Waikiki Banyan building before, I already knew that the location of this building couldn’t be more convenient. It is within a short walking distance of all of the best that Waikīkī has to offer (including the beach of course.) If you plan to explore Oʻahu and have a vehicle, free parking is a massive privilege included with this rental. The parking garage is large, easy to find a space, and you can take the elevator directly to your floor from the parking garage. This unit had everything my family needed for a wonderful stay. It was very clean and well stocked, and having a laundry area on the same floor is very convenient. The cafe in the lobby of the building makes a wonderful macadamia nut (or ube, if it’s in season) iced latte. The rental process was very easy— I even needed to extend my initial booking by an extra day, thankfully the unit was available, and it was an stress-free experience thanks to the host. I highly recommend this rental to anybody who is looking for a perfect, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Waikīkī!

My wife was what did you book when she seen the elevators and hallways, looks like they just painted and the walls were bare no pictures or anything. The elevators had padding on the walls. They are doing updating and the pads was to keep the wall protected from the construction crews. (I would recommend them just use one of the three elevators for the construction crews. and take the padding off the other two) The rental was everything we needed and was awesome. The free parking was the big selling factor.

The unit was conveniently located near the beach and the included parking was great. It was nicely renovated and looked just like the pictures. The unit may look a little larger in the pictures than in person, but we still felt comfortable with 4 adults. I would encourage others to book this unit. The pool/recreation deck renovation was wrapping up during our stay and looks great!

The property was okay. Nothing spectacular. I’ve stayed at other units within the complex and they were a lot nicer. Had more upgraded features and the kitchen was stocked with more cooking essentials. This unit had the bare minimum to get by. Shower was nice and bathroom was up to date. Coffee maker was provided upon request and was given a 4 cup maker which was too small so we ended up going to Starbucks on the corner. The unit had a Keurig which we didn’t. Beds were too short as we found our feet were hanging off the ends of it. For the price of the condo, it should be a little nicer.

You will be close to the recreational area and the lights stays on all night so I recommend bringing black out curtains or sleep mask.

Good price for a Waikīkī condo! We really enjoyed the use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. (A lot of snorkel gear and other beach toys were available which we didn’t use). The building is very secure but there is only one key fob that allows you access to the building so if you have multiple people in your party that want to do different things that makes it difficult.

Quiet space and very functional for a couple wanting privacy and a sofa bed for the kiddos. A short walk to great restaurants, Kuhio beach (which is excellent for kids and those not wanting to deal with coral or rip tides). Looking forward to returning.

The washer and dryer, full kitchen, and hot-tub/pool/rec area access all added to it being a great home base.Communication with the host felt a bit impersonal since it is managed by a company rather than one person, but self check-in and check-out were easy, and we had no issues during our stay.I do want to call out the sadness that the company is named “Captain Cook.” Given the violence and harm tied to Captain Cook’s history in Hawaiʻi, It would be a great idea to consider changing the name.Overall, we would definitely stay again, Thanks!

My Family and I enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyan on the 26th floor. The condo unit was very clean and bright with a fabulous view of Diamond Head, Koko Head from afar and the beach. A very relaxing unit that also included a parking spot for the rental price.The location is perfect with just a block away access to Waikiki Beach and shops.The check-in and check-out went smoothly. The instructions were concise. Communications with the staff from Captain Property was great both via Text and direct Call.I will definitely return and recommend to Family and Friends.

Overall a great stay and not bad for the price. Stayed for 5 nights with 3 other adults. Aside from a few things that could improve like the refrigerator door handle being broken but recently glued back together and then broke again, bottom dresser drawer broken, sticky floor upon arrival, and air conditioner not the easiest to figure out how to use and not the most powerful, beds were firm, and sliding door to the balcony is very heavy to move, it still wasn’t bad. The location is excellent and a short walk to the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony of the you look to the left. Construction was completed before we arrived which was unexpected so we got to enjoy the swimming pool on the 6th floor and having a free parking spot in the garage was a life saver. The price for all of this is an excellent deal so it’s easy to overlook the few things that weren’t perfect and they didn’t impact our stay. We still had a great time and would very likely stay there again.

Has roaches and that should have been stated. The 7 bait traps under the sink cabinet prove you knew it was a problem. Other than that it was ok. The trash people are loud as can be so good luck getting rest. And the guy that was so rude trying to fight my husband over where to put trash was a joke. We had a pretty poor experience

After a couple of days In the Condo we noticed that the a/c unit was not cooling. We reached out the Condo management company and received a response almost immediately! The called several times throughout the process of getting the a/c unit checked. After the inspection they determined that the unit needed to be replaced. They had it replaced within 8 hours !

The condominium is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Mike is excellent in communicating and is quick to respond. Check in and departure details are thorough and easy to follow. Parking is fantastic and we’re amazed that there is no charge. That’s an huge savings. Easy walk to the beach. I enjoyed walking along the Ala Wai each morning.
