The room was very nice. Comfortable, well stocked and quite enjoyable. One minor negative which has nothing to do with the room, but the resort in general. Pool rules are way too restrictive. No floaters, or balls, no jumping in the pool. It’s a pool.

Condo was nice, close to beach and very walkable. Lots of construction noise so my toddler wasn’t able to nap and on one day there was probably 10 emergency alerts via the condo intercom asking us to exit the building. They were all immediately cleared but again my toddler wasn’t able to nap. We ended up leaving a few days early and staying at a nearby hotel

The property was nice, but there are discrepancies between the pictures provided and the reality of it. These are fairly nitpicky differences but were noticeable. The decor is just not as nice as what's pictured. The chairs for the kitchen counter are not the same, cheaper for sure. The rug is not colorful, just a beige and brown color palate. The chair in the living area wasn't bright, and the decks chairs and table were also different. Small accents of color in the pictures aren't/weren't there. As I said though, this is nitpicking and these differences weren't enough to hurt the experience. I do wish there were more basic spices in the kitchen, helps cut down on waste and expenses. There could have been and should be more beach items provided. I can only imagine they throw away anything left behind when they could just leave things like beach mats, sand toys, snorkel gear ect. for the next party to enjoy. They did have two nice beach chairs though. All in all, it was what we expected, but we would've been delighted to have found a little more provided. This place will get the job done, the view is quite nice, and honestly, being on the 10th floor was a blessing because taking elevators becomes a huge time waster with every level you go up. I would recommend the unit, but would let those I would give that recommendation to know of the basic level it provides.

The hotel was perfectly placed with ample garage parking. Minutes from the beach food and fun. The room was amazing with a fantastic view. I will be returning in January to stay at the same location. It’s also perfect for late night door dash. The check in process was so easy and they keep you informed the whole time.

We had a good time till our last day! The location is good and had some water view. The property is exactly as pictured! Elevator is fast so no long waits! Parking can be difficult but always found a place to park! Walking distance to beach and shopping!
On our was back in on the night before we departed our lock malfunctioned and we could not enter the property! We called the number to contact management and there was no answer but we left a message! We called the emergency number…no answer! I went down and talked to security! They called all the numbers they had with no answer! At some point while I was downstairs my husband also called the numbers another visitor had for the same property management. And no answer! We finally received a call back after a half hour! They were not able to fix the lock at that time but were able to get us in! We were told that we would not be able to get back in ourselves till the lock was fixed but assured us that if we wanted to go out they could get us back in! We did not feel assured of an answered phone call after our experience so one of us never left the room! This made our last night (and morning) captive to the room!

The apartment is beautiful, very clean, well stocked. Although we have not met the hosts we were welcomed when we opened the door with the A/C and lights on. We were here for one of us to recover from a surgery so appreciated the space to walk around in the main room and have many nice places to sit including the lanai. The bed was very comfortable too. The only thing is the shower water was not very hot. The other faucets were though. We had a lovely stay, would stay again as well as highly recommend this property. It’s a block from the beach too!

We stayed 12 nights at this condo. Centrally located. One block from Waikiki! Everything is accessible by bus here…no need to get a car! If you’re a Sr. Citizen, you can get a bus pass which will allow you to travel anywhere for only $3.00 MAX per day! Definitely worth the trip to the Transit Station.
The hosts are wonderful. Excellent communication! We would stay here again!!

Everything you need is provided and then some. Plenty large for 2 people, and easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. The view of the mountains and golf course is lovely, and especially nice at night with all the city lights. We bought some staples on the way to the condo, because we usually run out of things like TP and tissues, but the condo was well stocked with all the basics, including sun screen! Ours friends staying at another property wished they were staying at our place. We would recommend this property,and would stay again, but our future trips will be to other islands.

This place was large and spacious for our family of four. It was right beside the laundry room, which we use multiple times during our two weeks stay. It had everything we needed and we loved the gallery kitchen versus having a kitchen in the open space. We would be able to be in the kitchen and make some noise while the kids are in the room sleeping. The only thing that I think this place needs is an update on their furniture. The mattresses were not too comfortable, but because we were so tired from the day, everyone fell asleep right away. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are back in Hawaii.

The property gave us all the basic needs of a good stay...the property mananger was very responsive to any requests prior to our visit. The property was located within easy access to many local sights and activities; making our ability to walk pretty much everywhere - beautiful views from the top floor deck area - wonderfully friendly people at the front desk; always helpful. I'd say the only negatives would be cleanliness and wear and tear on a nice little space could be improved; updated. Overall; we certainly enjoyed ourselves.

Spacious comfortable 1 bedroom apartment with large fully equiped galley kitchen. Close to the beach, diamondhead, the Zoo and many other places of interest. It included a parking spot with easy access.
A great number of othe amenities to make ones stay easier and more enjoyable. Having back pack beach chairs and a beach umbrella was perfect.
Overall a great location with great amenities and parking. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and very helpful!

This was a decent experience. The property manager was great and made the stay easy for us. Very responsive. The condo was ok. Little dated but ok. Clean but the carpets need a solid shampoo. Couple of issues needed some attention but overall not bad. The view is nice. Master bed was great. The pull out sofa was ok but matress was weak. Overall not to bad.

Absolutely amazing. The amenities were perfect. Cookware, silverware, pots pans were all high quality. Beds were comfy. Laundry was only three doors down the hall. A short walk (1 1/2 blocks) to the beach. Another 1/2 mile to the center of Waikiki but it was a very nice walk past shops and eateries. Free parking and a pool on the 6th floor. We had such a wonderful stay. Mahalo!!

This place is a well-run establishment. I give it 💯 (100) million stars ⭐️ The management person I met upon arrival was handsome and nice. The other guests were friendly. It was clean, quiet, mad convenient to EVERYTHING, and it was well stocked ( pots, pans, coffee maker, rice cooker, cleaning supplies, free washer & dryer, you name it. There’s even a little bodega right there next door to the building. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. It was already fully booked so I had to move on 😔☹️😢 I felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Hopefully, I can book for my family when the come out here to visit us. I will surely miss this cozy little place.

We just spent 3 + weeks in this lovely condo. Clean and comfortable in a great location only 2 blocks from Kūhiō Beach. Nicely function and updated. Everything we need for our long stay. We thought we had a problem with smoke detector and management was quick to respond. It turned out to be something of ours and easily fixed before their handyman arrived.

We are a family of 4 - parents with middle school kids. The unit was spacious enough for our needs. We spent our early mornings and evenings at the unit. It was especially nice to have a picture postcard view from the balcony. The kitchen had all the basic items for cooking. We cooked one steak and pasta dinner. We ate breakfast each morning at the unit thanks to the kitchen. Location was convenient- it was less than 2 blocks to the beach. The church St. Augustine was also close by. Hot water was strong in the bath. The beds were comfortable tho when one person rolled on the mattress, the whole mattress would move. We used the pool and jacuzzi one evening. It was very nice to swim under the stars!

The apartment has a stunning view and is very comfortable. Not only can you lie in bed and look at the ocean. you and also look at Diamond Head. The apartment is located at the quiet end of Waikiki just a block from the ocean front at Queens and a few blocks from the park. It doesn’t get much better than this. Marilyn and Robert were exceedingly helpful and friendly hosts. If you like music, Blue Note Hawaii is a short walk away with world class music at a fraction of the price in NY. The apartment also has a ukulele so if you want to channel your inner Jake, here is your opportunity.

Overall, this condo suited our needs just fine as my family vacationed while I worked in the area. The location is great, within walking distance to all of the sights and restaurants in and around Waikiki. The neighbors were quiet, so it was peaceful. The AC worked well and there was a nice breeze from the trade winds during the day. The partial ocean view was great. The kitchen is adequately stocked for basic cooking/eating for 4 people. We left 3 additional beach chairs (2 are included and quite worn out) and 1 additional umbrella (1 provided in great condition) for families to use if renting this unit. The beds are a top mattress on a raised wooden platform and pretty firm. The bathtub edge is quite high, so you need to be limber when climbing in. It was nice that the sofa in the living room pulled out to make a queen bed and linens were provided in the closet. Captain Cook Real Estate and Byron, the property manager, were a breeze to work with. It is a great value for your money compared to the hotel market in Waikiki.

Overall, the condo was as described. On day one there was an issue with the water temperature, specifically the shower and bathroom sink. The was only hot water, however it was scolding hot so after a long flight, we could not shower until the following day. The owner, Kenny was notified who looked into the concern and within a few hours the problem was rectified. As for the remainder of our stay, the location to the beach was ideal. The one concern that I had is there is no security, meaning anyone can come and go on this property. I feel if you are trace with a group of adults there really is no issue, however if you are traveling with children, I feel there should be some sort of measure in place to ensure who is staying at this establishment are supposed to be there. We did not run into any issues with this concern but I feel it is important to pint this out. Overall 4/5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Banyan. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It even came with beach chairs and beach towels. Not all units provide that. We especially loved the location and the view. The unit had views of the ocean and Diamond Head. Beautiful. We sat on the balcony everyday for our meals. It was just 2 blocks from the beach. Easy walking distance to everything. A huge plus is the included parking. We drove every day to a new beach or to sightsee. It was nice to not worry about where to park or paying for parking. During our stay the light in the small bathroom went off and we were unable to change the lightbulb. The beach chair straps were cut rendering it very difficult to carry them to the beach.
A small investment by the owner would make this appartment so much better!

But needled more explanation on the security key and running the TV’s, for first time users of your place. Also the linen services, as in if they have a schedule they use or we call for the service.
Would definitely want to stay again when we come back.

Staying here in this rental Condo place was an incredible experience for us. All of us have been many times before and had stayed in different places, which were no comparison to this one. Anything and everything you would need was available for us. We enjoyed the amazing view, hanging out in the roomy suite and then having the bedroom separated was a great idea. Up early every morning and not bothering anyone was great. Not if, but when we do go back to Waikiki we will plan our dates with availability for this specific Condo.
