Housekeeping didn’t do the greatest job.We even found ourselves rewashing quite a few of the dishes before using it tube location was great.Easy walk to everywhere.

This property was just as advertised. It was close to everything in Waikiki, clean and comfortable. There were so many places to eat and the beach was so close that we hardly had to drive anywhere. The parking garage was a little cramped if you have a big car or SUV but still much better than trying to street park. There was a nice view of the ocean from the porch.

The Birdcage was exactly what we needed for our trip to Honolulu. Location at the end of Waikiki close to the zoo was convenient to get in and out of and to be able to walk down Waikiki without being surrounded by the crowds. The kitchenette meant we could save money by cooking or bringing food back to the condo while taking advantage of the use of the 10th floor sky deck to eat meals with a full view of Diamondhead and the beach. Paying for parking at the Waikiki Grand made it very convenient to come and go at our leisure. Altogether an excellent trip!

This was not the room I booked it was on 37th floor I booked a condo on 23rd floor as my grand daughter is a feat of heights. The condo is old and smells. We did not have a parking permit until the 3rd day, had to call and leave message paid for towel service had to call and leave message. Ran out of garbage bags, no cleaning supplies to clean room upon departure
I do not recommend going through this owner. I have stayed at this hotel as a hotel room and the rooms are very well kept by the banyon, very disappointed, stay somewhere else through VRBO if you have to

We have been to the Banyan using a timeshare we had for years, so we are familiar with the layout of the property and age of the property. There is an elevator problem that you have to work around by timing. Being in the elevator trade for the last 49 years I understand that, very busy! The view was the best we’ve had of the beach area , very nice to sit and look at while drinking coffee in the morning. As far as the apartment the age is something to consider, this one could use some upgrades. The communication with the host was ok. Very graciously allowed us to have a late check out that we didn’t have to lug our luggage around until our flight at 8pm. Overall we were not disappointed with our stay, the grandchildren had a blast and frankly so did we.

We had a number of issues upon checkin. Upon letting the property manager know, I was confronted with rude remarks and was treated like a liar. We stayed here as a party and everyone else in our party had really nice rooms. This room is so dirty and outdated it’s insane.

It’s definitely not luxurious! All the pillows were flat and the bed was uncomfortable. There were not enough beach towels for all of us. Two of the burners on the stove did not work so our meals took hours to make. The windows were missing the latches, so you could not close some of the windows all the way. Also, a day before arriving I called about the cancellation policy and the person I spoke with said they would have someone call me back. They never called back! They canceled my reservation! The location and the view were the two best qualities.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We didn't spend much time inside so this was the perfect place for us. The location was perfect to hop on the H-1 and explore the island. We enjoyed walking to fantastic restaurants for dinner all within a few block radius. We had everything we needed.

The location and view are absolutely amazing! We loved the space and the sliding doors for added privacy between the bedroom and fold out couch. The space was clean and had many useful supplies provided. The nightlights were a wonderful surprise and appreciated by young children. Having a PS4 with games was heaven for the kids after a long day. The property was well maintained and immaculate. The only thing I wish they had was a salad spinner. I was very pleased with this stay. I initially worried because we weren’t directly on the beach, but didnt think about that at all once we settled in. At just one block away, walking to the beach was easy, and what literally everyone else was doing.
We really appreciated the beach towels and beach items, it made dropping in and enjoying the beach easy. There was enough toiletries to last our family of three with plenty left over, even surprise items like aloe gel and rough skin lotion!
The beds were clean and very comfortable. The mattresses had two mattress covers/protectors so I appreciated that. After initial inspection there was no second guessing and I was truly able to relax!
Others mentioned elevator waits. I can see how that could have been an issue. There is a queue on the first floor, but I never saw it busy and most people just knew to scoot and let people on the elevator.
In terms of quietness, it was fine. There was a tenant above us that was sliding their door closed between the bedroom and living area, but that was all we noticed. We were also so tired from hiking, exploring and swimming and we are hard sleepers anyway.
It wasn’t that big a deal but the toilet paper holder is in and odd spot and once the roll gets low enough it falls directly into the trashcan or on top of the toilet brush stand, but that was literally the only down to this place. I would absolutely stay here again It’s a fantastic deal with the parking pass and its location is great!

The property is only a couple of blocks from Waikiki Beach. From the kitchen window, we could see the beach and the ocean. Free on-site parking was convenient and secure.

This condo was wonderful. Very clean. Pictures did not do justice the the condo but were vey accurate. Had a family reunion and had a couple members spend a couple hours in the comfort of the living room to just talk a bit.

We loved our stay on the 28th floor of this condo. Parking was included in the garage and we had all the supplies we needed to make a few meals. We also loved the balcony with an ocean view and the beach chairs and towels we could take to the beach, which was super close. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again! Super easy to stay, and loved the location which is close to Diamond head and lots of good food and swimming!!

The accommodations were very nice. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen appliances are really nice. We appreciated the amenities like beach chairs and towels. The bedroom was quite hot even with the air conditioner on. We were also a little concerned about the ceiling texture scraping off when we opened the curtains. Hoping it wasn't dangerous substance. Overall we enjoyed our stay and having the ability to cook.

This stay was great! The unit was remodeled relatively recently and was very clean. The location is ~2 blocks from Waikiki beach and 3 blocks from many of the malls in Waikiki. We found the bed and pillows comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools you’d need to cook for yourself. We were glad they also provided beach towels and chairs for our use. Another major bonus was the included parking, which can cost 55$/night elsewhere! Byron was the property manager and he was easy to reach by text or call if we had any questions.

Waikiki Banyan Towers provided a wonderful location for our short stay in Waikiki. The communication from the management company made for a flawless check-in and check-out. We found the property very clean and matched everything in the description. They even provided items for us to use for a day at the beach. The best benefit was that the parking that is included was wonderful. We found ample parking in the garage. Would highly recommend choosing this vacation location. Everything was easily in walking distance.

We completely enjoyed our stay in the heart of Hawaii. The location allowed for easy walking to Waikiki beach and everything the area has to offer. The FREE parking was much appreciated for our rental car for when we wanted to explore the island. The condo had everything we needed, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of start up supplies that lasted our stay. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor. The communication with Midway Vacation was top notch. The elevator renovation had zero negative impact on our stay. We felt completely at home and wish we could of stayed another week.

We were in Waikiki for four days to explore the island with our rental car. This was a great homebase with a free parking spot included that was close enough to walk to all of the fun in downtown Waikiki and the beach. Super close to the beach, like one block. Building is a little dated, but plenty of room for a family of four and nice and clean.

We didn’t spend much time in the condo aside from sleeping because we spent our time out and about, but it was the right price for what we needed and a clean comfortable space. I would rate this unit as a “must stay”. I have stayed at over a dozen various units in both towers on this property over the last few years, this unit by far is the best.
The unit is super clean and looks professionally decorated, the upgrades are fantastic. Heavy pane sliding glass door helps reduce morning Waikiki service truck noise. Two quiet wall mounted AC units, other units have one loud window style AC unit. Two TVs, other units only provide one TV. Brick paver lanai, other units just have cement. There’s even a decorative waterfall on the lanai. Power controlled blackout shades in the bedroom, which really helps with your first few mornings of Jetlag. There are a ton of other small noticeable upgrades compared other units.
The layout of this unit makes it feel more like a home than a rental unit. And the view is beautiful, through the sliding glass door you have a view of famous Waikiki Beach and through the bedroom and kitchen windows you get a view of the famous Diamond Head mountain.
I would strongly recommend staying in this unit.

This condo was the perfect fit for our family of 4. The condo was exactly as pictured & was the perfect mix of location to Waikiki, amenities of a kitchen so we didn’t need to eat out for every meal and included a parking pass. We quickly realized that parking is a huge commodity everywhere you go on the island and so having a free spot to pull into at the end of a day after seeing the sights was a huge perk. We greatly enjoyed how quick Monique was to respond throughout our stay. The condo included some personal touches such a Hawaiian coffee, sunblock block, shampoo/conditione/body wash and then had enough amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap etc for our 8 day stay. We weren’t originally planning to boogie board in the ocean but since the boards were provided, we decided to give it a try and found out how much fun it was. Ended up using the boards, beach chairs, beach towels, beach mat throughout our stay, which made our beach days perfect.The Waikiki Banyon felt safe and clean, especially compared to other places we walked through during our visit. We did not use the pool because we came to Hawaii to discover all the amazing beaches. We loved sitting out on the patio deck for our morning coffee and having the partial view of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the condo at a perfect temp, condo size gave our family of 4 enough space to store our luggage and amnesties during our stay. Staying with midway vacations was such an easy and wonderful experience. The condo had so many things a small family can use during a vacation stay. The only thing I wish they would have is a few sand toys for kids and a beach umbrella. But we so appreciated the beach chairs and small cooler that was available for us to use.
Views from the condo were beautiful . The kitchen was stocked with basic things like salt, pepper , oil and coffee filters. Pots/pans/utensils were all in good condition as well.
The place was very clean and parking was never an issue even if we came back late at night.
We will definitely consider staying here again
