It's one block to the beach and walking distance to International Marketplace and shops and restaurants on Kalakaua Avenue. Also love and appreciate that this property come with FREE parking. We didn't have difficulty finding parking space for our rental car. We also didn't have problem contacting the property owner, Monique. She was quick to respond by text. Definitely worth checking out this place if you are looking for place to stay in Waikiki.

Monique was very responsive and communicative. Room was comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the view and beach supplies. It was wonderful being able to walk to downtown Waikiki and the beach every day. Having free parking included with our stay was great and a rarity on the island of Hawaii. My only suggestion is to fix the shower ("hot" was actually cold and "cold" was actually hot and the nozzle didn't stay upright) and maybe add black-out curtains. Fortunately we were tired enough at the end of each day that the light from the buildings didn't keep us up. I recommend staying here for easy access to the beach, free parking and a great price.

Would have liked liquid hand soap in kitchen and bathroom. Also it would be nice to have a place in shower to put your soap - may be a shower caddy over the shower head. Also needs a few cubes with USB ports. But this would not deter me from staying again.

This property’s location is great! Included parking is perfect. Even though it’s not an assigned spot, we didn't have any issues finding parking even when we got in late at night. The apartment is fully furnished and functional, perfect for a getaway in Oahu.

This is our second stay in this condo. Our son attends UH and it is perfect location between the dorms and beach! Condo has everything you need to eat in and plenty of restaurants around to eat out. The beach is one block away! The property has a play structure that our 4 year old enjoyed. There is also a pool and hot tub, sadly this year we were there during the maintenance time so the pool was closed. We did enjoy it during our initial stay. We will definitely be return tenants to visit our son on the island in the future!

Monique’s condo was awesome! Very clean with all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great. However, the parking was crazy. Monique provided a parking pass, which was awesome. The issue is that the parking garage was also available for the general public pay as you go customers. The attendants would ask the what they wanted, then go back to the booth, complete the credit card process, walk back to the car, have them sign the receipt, then go back and get a pass, and then take it to them. Never seen anything quite so inefficient! One time we had to wait over 10 minutes just to get into the parking garage.

This cozy condo, with its view of the ocean, is a convenient home base for a Honolulu stay. We needed to prepare meals due to medical reasons and found not only the usual kitchen cookware and utensils, but a good blender snd a full range of appliances. The bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve had on any trip. Monique was a pleasure to work with and was very quick to respond to questions or concerns. Highly recommended!

This listing was perfect for our 5 day trip to Hawaii. The listing was clean, stocked with the essentials & located near plenty of shops and restaurants. Huge perk was free parking! Can’t beat that. All great. Excellent location and ease of move in move out great. Communications with Monique great. Sharp knifes, lots if towels and beach toys, soft bed, pots and pans, utensils. Was nice to have coffee and filters and tea. Pool area nice and the balcony chairs table nice. A broom would be nice to sweep this area. Only issue was noisy AC, didn't use it. But the fan's were fine. And floor was not clean when arrived dust bunnies /sand in corners, a broom would of been nice. A vacuum was there and did use it. Would stay again.

We love the location of this unit. It is a short walk to the beach and restaurants in Waikiki. There is easy access to and from other areas on Oahu.
The unit is fully furnished. The kitchen has all the dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment we needed. There are adequate towels and linens. The refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning worked perfectly.
We appreciated that there is no resort fee or parking charge. We will consider renting this unit again.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying in this apartment. The host is very responsive and flexible with super easy check in process. The room is very clean, spacious with tons of amenities for the “beach bum”. The only issue we have is the curtain which doesn’t block the sunlight at all. We were woken up before 6am before sunrise. It makes me feel unrested.

There were a few small issues and we were able to text Monique and she responded immediately. The location was perfect for walking around and we found a perfect snorkel site just a 15 minute walk away. We would definitely stay again!

We ended up liking the rest of Oahu much better than Honolulu, so we just used the condo to sleep and shower, but it was very nice for our purposes. Everything was as expected, and the FREE parking was the best part because we didn't have to worry about where we would park the rental each evening. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, fridge was cold. We had no issues and did not need extra communication with the property manager, but their initial email with directions was very helpful. Thank you!

Aloha! We stayed here for a week over New Years. For the price, this condo is hard to beat for its location and size (600 sf). We really wanted more elbow room for our family to stretch out after a day of activities. Parking was free and easy in the attached parking garage. That was a huge plus. We were also very happy to use the provided beach chairs :-) The building and unit does show its age in some places, but it is still a very well cared for property. The only issue we had was when the entire building lost power for about 2 hours on the last evening of our stay. Other than that, it exceeded our expectations and we'll keep this property in mind in our future trips - - hopefully soon! Enjoy Oahu!

Why 4 stars:
The condo is located at a stone's throw from the beach. Multiple ABC stores located within 2 mins walking distance. The condo is on the 16th floor and has a decent view of the ocean from living room and bedroom. There is a good breeze throughout the day. Laundry is on the same floor and accepts payment from an app so need to carry quarters There are 2 umbrellas, surf board and some books for guests. The property manager Monique was very helpful and answered all my communication promptly. The apartment itself was clean during the checkin and there was a binder with all the relevant info about the apartment and neighborhood, restaurants etc. WiFi speed is very good and we had no issues connecting 3-4 devices at the same time.
Why not 5 stars:
There is no dishwasher in the unit. So if you plan to stay with a family and cook, be ready to wash your dishes and pans. We did see few cockroaches in the apartment and were not happy about it. They are not a lot but we would see a few each evening. you will need to be careful about keeping food out open especially at night. The apartment itself seems old and remodeled from a studio to 1-Bed, that makes the bathroom very small; if you are 5.5ft+ its going to be some challenge using the bathroom/shower. The furniture is bit old and worn out though we did not seem to mind it much. The bedroom really needs blackout curtains. The lights from adjacent buildings is strong at night (fire/emergency exit lights) and it bleeds in to the bedroom through the white curtains. We had to use our eye-masks each night to fall asleep.
Small things but that did not affect our experience or rating:
The shower handle was broken but did not affect its functionality. The AC needed maintenance since there was a "Clean filter" light on though the cooling was fine. The TV is basic and the DVD player does have internet enabled apps like Netflix but the TV/DVD is very slow so have patience using it.

Two things that set this place apart: a very well-stocked kitchen and plenty of high quality beach accessories. We like to cook and a kitchen is important to us. We really appreciated the full set of spices and complete sets of pots, pans and other items--like a real home kitchen. We also loved the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas. We were here for two weeks so having these items made the stay more comfortable. It's a comfortable place overall, like staying in a friend's apartment. It's only 1 block to the beach and close to many restaurants. We walked every morning around Kapiolani Park and walked 1 mile to the big Safeway. My only (minor) quibble was that I would have appreciated one straight backed chair to use with the small table as a desk. I had some writing to do and made do with the lanai chair.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The instructions we were given for parking and to get into the unit were easy to follow. The unit is right off the elevator and on the 16th floor. We NEVER heard any elevator noise or noise from other units. It was very quiet. Number 1 on my list is always cleanliness and the unit was spotless. Plenty of towels including beach towels. The kitchen was very adequate. We never used the oven but it looked fine and the kitchen has everything you need. The a/c unit is probably going to need replacing pretty soon but it did work. We only used it at night as there was always a breeze. You will only be 2 blocks from Kuhio/Waikiki beach. A very easy walk. The beach street reminds me a little like South Beach Miami as there are plenty of places to eat , lots of shopping and a beautiful beach area. Very happy with the condo! I think the price is very fair.

Five stars! Two very minor issues, neither of which had me even consider 4-stars: one, I noticed a couple little island bugs trying to hang out with us, and a quick foot stomp did the trick. Second, a few spices, etc. for food prep help would be nice (aside from the salt and pepper provided). Like I said…very minor! Great location, comfy bed, strong A/C, and great host - thank you!!

Monique is quick to reply with any questions . This condo was perfect for grandparents with one 11 year old grandson. Well equipped for our needs in terms of cooking and comfortable sleeping. Good view of a bit of the ocean for mornings and sunset time. Never needed AC.
Loved this location though we did outings daily around the island. Grandson was at local beach every day before sunset and we had that to come back to. Very happy we chose this place and I would do so again. Having s parking space is wonderful and not an " extra". Thank you Monique!

Building in need of some renovations but the room itself was very nice. Obviously has been renovated recently, very neat and clean. And the kitchen has just about everything you could want if you want to cook in. Only minor complaint would be the sofa bed is uncomfortable but hey, it’s a sofa bed! And the location is awesome. Only two blocks to the beach. And within a twenty minute walk you can get to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.
