The Waikiki Banyan is located in the heart of East Waikiki and just 1 block away from the warm sands and azure waters of world famous Waikiki Beach. Just steps away are the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, world-class shopping, and a multitude of international cuisine restaurants.

Our spacious one-bedroom suite is updated with updated appliances along with flooring upgrades and furniture reupholstery. In addition, we continue to upgrade bedcovers, small appliances, light fixtures, and supplies as needed to keep things fresh.

The unit has Tommy Bahama island living inspired furniture, and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. There are 3 sliding doors to separate the living room and the bedroom.

We also provide many extras to save you money and time in supplies along with some beach gear. The suite is a strictly non-smoking unit which ensures a pleasant stay for all. Please note recent laws do not allow smoking on the lanai and around the building as well.

This suite has two double/full size beds, a queen sofa sleeper, and can comfortably accommodate 2-4 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. The unit includes air-conditioning, a flat screen TV , Free Internet Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and a phone for local calls.

VIEW & FLOOR LOCATION:
Located on the mid-high 26th Floor in Tower 2, the suite directly faces the vibrant blue Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach, allowing guests to enjoy the relaxing and peaceful ocean views from the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and lanai.

SUPPLIES: The suite comes with towels, linens, basic supplies, a First-Aid Kit, board games, sand toys, mats, beach towels, , beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel and masks sets + starter paper products, sundries and washing and cleaning supplies.

CONDO RESORT AMENITIES:
The Waikiki Banyan's recreation deck on the 6th floor offers a large pool, two jet spas, sauna, barbeque grills, children's playground*. The beautiful breezy outdoor lobby is home to a variety of vibrant koi fish amongst tropical plants.

*Pool and Jacuzzi closures can occur and are not responsible for these closures as they happen as needed. (Please see project dates below)

At the lobby level is the Banyan Breeze, an Internet Café that offers all-day light fare dining as well as coffee, smoothies, and dessert.
An onsite Mini-Mart allows guests to purchase a variety of grocery items, cooking ingredients, food, snacks, supplies, and personal sundries.

LAUNDRY:
Each floor has a coin-operated washing machine and dryer located in the laundry room just a few steps down the hall for your convenience.

TRANSPORTATION:
Bus stops are within one block and provide frequent and affordable transportation to all island attractions: the Ala Moana Shopping Center, Ward Center and Movie Complex, the Academy of Fine Arts, Bishop Museum, Iolani Palace, Chinatown, Pearl Harbor and so much more.

PARKING:
The unit comes with (1) covered FREE PARKING. A $35/day value conveniently located on the property and near the beach, shopping, and restaurants and major chain hotels.

Waikiki Banyan Building Modernization and Maintenance Projects
The Association of Owners of the Waikiki Banyan are very diligent and proactive when it comes to maintaining the building. Included in these projects are elevator upgrades, recreation deck and pool improvements, replacements of drain and sewer lines, and other repairs in different areas of the property that may require closures of amenities and some water shut-offs for a number of hours on certain days. These maintenance schedules are created by the Association and we are not responsible for water shut-offs and pool and other closures to the building amenities that need maintenance. The Waikiki Banyan Association does its very best to work fast to reduce inconvenience to both owners and visitors.

****Project Dates****
ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION PROJECT from April 22, 2024 through April 30, 2025.
Each tower has four elevators and only one elevator will be out of order at a time. Three elevators will be available in each tower at all times.

RECREATION DECK MAINTENANCE: The restrooms and sauna are closed through May 27, 2024. The swimming pool and jet spas will be closed from April 29 through May 18, 2024.

POOL and RECREATION DECK: Renovation is scheduled to start in 2025. Dates are still tentative with regards to closures.

For all projects, work hours will be restricted to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We apologize for the inconvenience and will make every effort to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Excellent. One block from beach. Surrounded by dining spots. Within walking distance of most things- if not, excellent bus route. Balcony view was beautiful. Enjoyed pool and hot tub

Thanks Dolly for an enjoyable stay! We loved the ocean view from both the balcony and kitchen table for all our meals. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked with supplies. Close to beaches, shops and restaurants. Having the parking pass was convenient and a big savings.

Dolly is a great host! She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We loved the location and never had any issues finding parking; we usually parked on the 3rd floor near Tower 2 elevator. We loved the beautiful ocean view and all the amenities like the pool, cafe (they sell Dole Whip!), and mini mart. The laundry room and trash were all close to our unit, which was super convenient. The beds were comfy and clean, and the dining chairs being regular lower ones (not those tall bar stools) was an added bonus for my little one. I will definitely try to rebook this place for our next Oahu trip!

Stayed at Dolly's place for a week with my sister and niece and it was perfect. It had a great view, all of the amenities (and then some) that we needed for a comfortable stay, a short distance to the beach, restaurants and shops in the area. The parking pass was definitely useful to have as we had rented a car during our stay. There was always a parking spot available in the garage. Dolly was a great host, she was very responsive before our stay and the instructions she left were clear. All in all, I would recommend to stay here and would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Oahu!

Dolly was a fantastic host. The condo was located relatively close to everything in Waikiki. The condo was spacious and clean. There were a few issues, but the host fixed the issues immediately. The only downfall is the building itself. It is a rather older building and a few times two elevators broke down leaving just two elevators for 36 floors. Overall a nice place for a good price.

Dolly was very easy to communicate with. The unit is as pictured, plus a deck box filled with beach gear. We really enjoyed our stay! Loads of restaurants, shopping and the beach are a few minutes walk. Great pool and play area for the grandkids. We highly recommend.

Dolly is a great host to communicate. The unit has nice view of ocean and Diamond Head in convenient location to many points of interests. Parking is free but finding space may be difficult at the lower floors but always available at the high floors. A fire drill was annoying in mid-night. I would return to this unit for future visits/

I never write reviews but I just had to do it this time. This was our first time visiting Oahu and we had a fabulous stay here. Communication with the owener was amazing. We always received a quick response to any questions or concerns we had. The place comes well equipped with just about everything you need to enjoy your vacation. It is in a great location. The beach is a short walk, stores and restaurants are all around you. Having access to the parking garage was a big plus. We couldnt be more happier with our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

Location! You can walk everywhere within Waikiki and across the AlaWai. The bus stop is easy to access too! Took my family back to where I once lived and found this condo. It had everything we needed as to being in a home. The views were amazing. Slept 4 adults comfortably to include the pull out bed. The internet was super handy to be able to work in paradise and the parking spot was an added bonus. I can cook here too! This is the condo you need to feel at home. Beach umbrella, chairs and boogie boards AND MORE! We will be rebooking!

Great property! Walking distance to so many beach areas, stores, restaurants. This was a trip to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday and graduation. The 2 beds in open bedroom and sofa bed gave each of us our own bed. Nice ocean view. Well stocked kitchen - and there’s a nice coffee/breakfast shop downstairs.

My husband and young daughter and I were fortunate to spend a very relaxing and fun vacation in Honolulu thanks to a great space to recharge and regroup. Dolly was so helpful with all our questions, even with flight delays inbound to Honolulu. It felt like a home away from home with all the creature comforts a family would need – drying rack for swim gear, sand castles, cooler, bed rails for our little one and so much more. The view was just great while we listened to music off the ipod player. Very clean, all the kitchen needs you could want! Grilling on the 6th floor pool deck was fun too! Parking spot was so convenient as we toured the whole island on our vacation. Close to grocery store, restaurants, shops and most importantly the beach! Thanks Dolly – we can’t wait to come back!

I was very lucky to stay at this condo for 3 months from Feb to May in 2011. It was true that the other previous guests commented, the condo was just PERFECT! The kitchen - all kitchen equipments are there, esp. rice cooker was helpful for us. coffee sugar, salt etc are also helpful, because supermarkets tend to have only big amount packages of them even though we need little of them. Living room - feel wider space compared with other standard rooms in Banyan, because this room doesn't have kitchen counter and high chairs. I prefer this condo's dining set. Interior was also nice! Bed room - twin bed was good for my family (2 adults and 2 kids). There was a sofa bed in the living room, but I didn't use it because beds in bed room were enough for my family. Mattress was clean and nice, and there were enough from small to big towels and beach towels. Moreover, I appreciated that Dolly prepared a pair of bed guards for my 3 yrs old son and baby bassinet for my new born baby. Bath room - very clean, hand shower was also helpful to wash the small child. Lanai - laundry hunger there was also helpful because I had a lots of laundry everyday for kids! (=> laundry and dryer room is just at the next door of the condo, which was also good. The noise was not a problem, maybe wall is enough thick in Banyan.) Also the condo equipped snorkel sets, floating tubes, swim rings for kids, boogie boards, beach chairs etc. Free Wi-Fi was also there. Ocean view was beautiful as the photos in the web site. I think the reason why this condo is so excellent is Dolly's personality. She has a great hospitality and she is always thinking about whether the guests enjoy their stay. We had a warning of Tsunami on March 11th. Dolly gave me a call and asked whether we are all right. I felt she was like a good friend or family in Hawaii. Thank you for Dolly and the condo, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great memory in Hawaii.

My husband and I stayed at this condo Dec. 27, 2010 to Jan. 4, 2011 and found its owners to be very personable, helpful and kind. Upon our arrival we were personally met at the lobby and briefly explained where everything was and how to operate such things as condo entry and garage. The condo was impeccable and everything from beach mats to ipod docking stations were supplied. Our travel companions rented units in the same tower and did not have keyless entry (really handy) and upscale furnishings as we did. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.
