I would highly recommend this condo. The description provided, matched exactly. If you need parking don’t ask the front desk. They will tell you where to go off site. Go straight to the security office. They handle parking and take cash only, 40 per day.

Just amazing!! There is no place better to stay in Waikīkī than here or a similar condo with ocean views. There were 2 king size beds and 1 queen pull out comfortably fit for my husband and I and our adult kids, and their partners. The view is breathtaking, the conscience to the beach is fantastic. The front desk will not help or support anything for guest of Captain Cook but knowing that helps because you figure things out, like locating your party who were stuck in the lobby with no phobe. We didn’t have any interaction with the host but we didn’t need anything but an extra blanket but didn’t receive a response to that request, overall, would stay again hands down one of the best vacation resorts

The apartment was updated with great decor the view from the balcony was just as it says in the photos . We loved that they had beach chairs , umbrellas provided for your stay . We could see turtles from the balcony . We had a well set up kitchen and big fridge . Comfortable bed.

This condo is in an excellent location and minutes to the beach. Check-in was easy and flexible which was much appreciated as we came in on an early flight. Some of the kitchen utensils (plates, bowls, cutlery etc) were a bit lacking. Very close to great restaurants, the ABC store for urgent supplies and Waikiki Beachwalk, which has a good range of retail and food shops. Right next door is the Fort De Russy park, perfect for outdoor training or just enjoying the beautiful gardens.

This was our first time visiting Hawaii and being in this location made for a fantastic trip. We loved the view and being able to be right on the beach. It was also great that we had a guaranteed place to park right across the street. Paul was super helpful and quickly responded whenever we had questions. First time to Hawaii and it was a wonderful experience. Our stay at Terry’s place was great. Clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked with beach/pool items, laundry supplies etc. We loved being able to just walk 2 minutes down to the beach to see the sunrise most mornings. Check-in was super easy and Terry had all instructions clearly printed out. The location is within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. This one’s a keeper for our next trip back!!

Great stay. Cannot beat the location. I could easily walk to target and many great restaurants. Excellent view of fireworks on Fridays right from the condo. Great to have shave ice and a couple of other food places downstairs. Seals sleep right in front of the complex. Only drawbacks: Beach in front of the complex not as good as others, very tight parking spot, area is quite crowded but I really enjoyed the stay.

Exceeded expectations in every way. Beautifully updated and appointed unit. The dedicated on site parking spot was most appreciated as was the beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. We lived in Hawaii for several years and have stayed in several Waikiki hotels, but this unit tops them all. Beachfront and centrally located, but did not feel crowded or noisy. Every possible amenity. The building has all types rentals and excursions available. They did not lie about the views. Absolutely epic! Diamond head when you leave and the beach when you arrive home. Amazing sunsets and views of the Friday night fireworks. Watch catamarans shuffle tourists around. Or hang out on your lanai and watch for the local wild parrots. Comfy, clean and with a bidet. Loved it!

I love the size of the Studio. The fullKitchen is a plus while on the island. The location is a bit from the center of Waikiki but walkable and taxi was only 12.00 from marketplace to ilikai. The shower in the unit is strong and perfect after beach days. We loved the 3rd floor we sat and people watched off the lanai and got to watch hula show on fridays. We felt very safe and enjoyed The loungers at night on the property to enjoy the marina a nice breeze. Perfect for families and couples. Had all the essentials for cooking indoors and making lunch for beach days. Would stay again! Mahalo

As far as location this condo gets a 100%. This area of Waikiki is much quieter then the diamond head side.The condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay, king size bed, full kitchen and waher/dryer inside unit.You can step right onto the beach from the back door of the building.We enjoyed the walking path along the beach every morning which begins right outside the building.The condo comes with beach chairs which we used everyday while enjoying the ocean. We even had the pleasure of viewing a seal who was sunbathing on the beach below our condos for three days in a row. The monk seal was in the process of molting or shedding its skin. It was a very interesting experience.Don’t forget to bring your own shopping bags when going out. Hawaii does not provide bags for your purchases unless your shopping at the high end stores.

The beachfront room in Waikiki was absolutely wonderful. The panoramic view from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, stretching across the white sands and blue skies beyond Fort DeRussy Beach Park, which houses the U.S. Army Museum, all the way to the yacht harbor, was truly breathtaking. From the spacious lanai, you can watch surfers waiting for waves early in the morning, yachts sailing at sunset, the sun setting behind the mountains, and on Fridays, enjoy fireworks at night—all from the comfort of your room. The view from the kitchen is also stunning; the windows are larger than expected, offering a perfect view of both Diamond Head and surfers riding the waves at Waikiki Beach.The room is equipped with four beach chairs, two umbrellas, a bodyboard and two for kids making it perfect for families with children. We were continuously amazed to see mother-and-child pairs of seals and turtles right on the beach in front of the hotel.This is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

Although there were wear and tear not unusual to old buildings, the equipments such as in the kitchen and in-room W/D were updated and very useful. Above all, the views of the harbor and ocean are unbeatable. In addition, once you step outside the door, you get to enjoy the wonderful view of Diamond Head. All the major shopping and eateries are within walking distance. One thing to note is that you need to pay attention to any announcements shown in the elevator screen and boards standing by the elevator regarding building maintenances. I found out about water stoppage the morning after my arrival through these announcements. Unlike hotels they don’t give heads up by distributing notices to each room.

Stayed here for 5 nights. We had several family and business functions around the island, so having free parking was essential. This is the second time we've used Captain Cook and Jean started things off great with his welcoming phone call and text. The hotel was full of amenities... good food, a small market, wading pool, full size pool, and close to other hotels for other walking distance food options. And of course being close to the beach and the wading lagoon for small children was perfect. We enjoyed waking sitting on the lanai in the morning and evening. One night it was rather loud outside as someone was having a party on a boat, but that was the exception not the rule. Would definitely stay here again.
