Paul made the check in process very easy and gave us good recommendations for the area. He was very nice and responded quickly with any requests or questions. On the plus side: This property is in a fantastic location within Honolulu. Right on Waikiki beach and overlooking a park. We had birds and sunsets and city fireworks and rainbows and beautiful water to look at. Our contact, Paul, was very easy to work with, responded to texts, and met us right out front. He explained the whole process and made check-in stress free. We paid the rental company to get us access to parking across the street - that whole process was super easy and parking was safe and close. It also has A/C which was nice in the evening.The negatives: While the apartment was clean for us, it does need some tlc. There's a whole wall near the bathroom that is crumbling apart from previous water damage. There's a cracked tile in the living area, and the blinds are missing many slats or the slats are broken, which means there isn't total privacy if you want it. No beach gear, either, which is a bummer when you're staying on the beach. They did have towels for the beach. With a little work, this could be a 5 star property but for the price, it felt a little bit run-down. I can't argue with the location though - it's spectacular!

This is a beautiful condo with views of the beach. It was clean and well kept, and the beds were comfy. Having the kitchen and laundry facilities with the beach just steps away made for an easy visit with a beach loving 10 year old. We with more beach supplies were provided … we had to rent chairs, an umbrella, and a cart. We also rented towels, not knowing there were beach towels available in the unit. Overall, though, it was a lovely stay.

The view and location are the best in Waikiki! Glass doors surround the entire living space and can be opened complete to the balconies. Location is close to many shops and restaurants. Note that two of the bedrooms are formed by sliding partitions from the main living space.

We love this condo. The location is superb, so much to do and see within easy walking distance. And the furniture is all very comfortable. The kitchen is really well thought out too. Host is very communicative. Looking forward to our next stay here!

We spent a week in this condo and it was amazing! Communication with Captain Cook was effortless. Vincent was very helpful from the beginning until the end! The only thing I would have changed that’s minor for some, but important for me... a full size coffee pot, hahaha. We will definitely be vacationing through Captain Cook resorts again !

We spent the week in the condo and despite it raining every day, we had a great time enjoying the view and puzzling. We saw whales, seals and a turtle along with fireworks at the nearby hotel. The beds were comfy, bathroom was nice (especially the bidet!), kitchen was fine, tvs and ac both worked well. Will definitely stay again (and hopefully have better weather!)

Absolutely wonderful stay at this cute, clean, well equiped (kitchen, bathroom, beach equipment) studio, with the perfect views! Coffee after sunrise and the sunsets from the lanai were like a postcard! This studio is perfect for the solo traveler or couple!I travel a lot and have stayed in many studios on many of the islands and in my opinion I’d give this studio a solid 9.9/10! Only thing I would add is a floor mat inside the front door for shoes and to catch little bits of sand. Would absolutely stay here again!

Condo was perfect for Waikiki stay. It was a breeze to check in with the cheerful and helpful Paul. Condo was a large one bedroom with a beautiful view to the north. Fireworks in the evenings were an added bonus. Easy walking distance to great restaurants, especially the bar next-door, Monkeypod! If you’re a shopper, you will love it here! Easy to get to everything beaches right out the back door

It was a big selling point to have a parking spot included, just make sure to pay attention to which spots are available, some are reserved for valet and private owners. Great location. The bed is VERY firm so know that in advance if that would bother you. It was fine for us. Excellent communication with the site manager! Buy a bag of ice and leave it in the freezer for drinks. Basic appliances. It's an older iconic building. Would stay again, for sure!

The location was nice. The set up of the rooms is less desirable. The master area only has pocket doors which leads to no privacy and hearing anyone moving around the condo. The host who met us to orient us and give the keys was not only late but also condescending and rude. I didn’t receive the email instructions until 50 minutes after I was supposed to be able to check in. Parking is not close.

This condo is closed to everything in Waikiki. The beach and pool access is easy to find and access from the unit. I found using the stairs quicker than waiting for the elevator. The unit is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. It is rare to find a washer and dryer in the unit in Waikiki.

We loved the sunset views just like the pictures show, and the host provided much information that was helpful for our stay. With a full sized kitchen this was a much better option for us compared to a typical hotel room.

We had a great stay at Waikiki Shores. The views were amazing, we saw fireworks right from our balcony, turtles in the ocean, and diamond head. My daughter lost her glasses and the gentleman from security reviewed the cameras to see where she left them and we were able to locate them. Derek at the front desk was very helpful, also. The only issue was that we never received our check in information, but when we went to the front desk they sent us right up to our room.

I stayed in this spacious, very clean, bright and well located apartment with my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend for my birthday weekend. The view is beautiful—feels like you are inside the ocean—everything is close by, and it has everything you need from detergent to coffee filters. The guy who helped us was very nice, he would pick up the phone in seconds and answer all of our questions. If I come back to Waikiki, I will definitely stay here again!
