The property is in a great location next to ala moana mall. We were unable to check in on our first day because the property manager didn't send the paperwork to the hotel, and we were unable to get a hold of the property manager. Luckily vrbo helped us out to get a room for that 1st night.

Great location! Great space& accommodation. A few needs however.. 2nd bathroom had only 1/2 roll of toilet tissue, tub needs regrouting & side floor tiles as well. Kitchen has no salt, pepper, coffee, tea or condiments as in other VRBO accommodations we have been to.

On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, balcony with view wonderful, and location (with easy access to Ala Moana Mall) terrific. Drawbacks include: insufficient amount of soap (we had to buy bars) and shampoo, dirty and wet towel left under the sink, and the parking under the hotel while very convenient was also expensive. Overall, we are happy about our stay.

Our recent VRBO stay was nothing short of spectacular. The accommodations provided plenty of space for five adults, ensuring a comfortable and spacious stay. What truly distinguished this property were its unrivalled views—we were treated to spectacular panoramas of the ocean and the mountains, giving an amazing backdrop for our stay.
However, no stay is without its minor hiccups. We encountered a few issues with some small appliances that unfortunately broke during our stay and a minor inconvenience with the kitchen sink backing up. Yet, it's worth noting that these concerns were swiftly addressed by the attentive management team. They responded promptly to our reports, and to our delight, we were provided with brand-new appliances in no time. The quick resolution of these matters truly demonstrated their commitment to ensuring a hassle-free experience for guests.
Despite these small setbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to book again for another two weeks or more. The combination of ample space, unbeatable views, and responsive management make this VRBO rental a top choice for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in the Waikiki/Honolulu area.

You need to make sure you have grown up people towels. We stayed there for 8 days. We are grow adults using little kids towels for 8 days. So, we bought up some grown up towels. I get it here is a laundry room now ever use kids towels sucked.

There was only 1 handrail in the shower and the bathtub had such high walls that if you had issues with your legs, you would not be able to get in. Also there were no handrails for the toilet which was quite low. We were given only one full roll of tissue and a used roll. We had to ask at the front desk for the number to the rental agency, which I think there should be some card with information for the tenant. The positive thing is the property was clean and the bed very comfortable. Since the property was a little cheaper than the regular hotel stay, then I would say you get what you paid for.

This provided a great stay for a group attending a business conference. We were able to rent one room so that the group had space to meet and hang out, instead of renting multiple rooms and not having a gathering space. We also were able to request an early check in and they were able too since their conference were in the evening.

The suite is exactly as shown. It's quite large and the beds are comfortable. It was convenient to have the shopping mall next door and Starbucks downstairs. The property manager was also quick to respond to all of our requests. We highly recommend.

From the moment i stepped in, we were all blown away by the breathtaking view. The property was super clean, well equipped with everything we needed.
This property is located in Ala Moana Hotel, which made everything super convenient. We were able to walk to Ala Moana Beach everyday, which is a beautiful beach, way less crowded than Waikiki Beach. It was also super convenient that there's Ala moana mall right next to the hotel, everything was within easy reach.
Overall our stay at this place exceeded all expectations. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!!!

We stayed here recently and can’t believe all of the 4-5 star reviews. Yes the views are incredible, and the size accommodates large families/parties, but that’s ALL it has going for it. The place is old, and shows it’s age as there are zero modern amenities. There are no smart TV’s (we had to watch movies on our laptop), no Keurig for coffee, only coffee pots for full pots of coffee. We rented this place thinking we could use the kitchen to eat in, however when we saw the beat up cookware and the rusty knives, that was a complete turn off. There was extremely dim light in the kitchen, and my son who cooks said no thanks. So a lot of extra expense went into eating out. In addition, the place was not super clean. The carpets were visibly dirty, and one of the showers smelled so strong of mold and body odor, we could not use it. The main master bedroom shower had mold on the tile and in the grout joints. The place does have a washer and dryer, but the washing machine does not spin!! We ran a load and it shuts off at spin cycle, leaving us with wet soapy clothes. After staying here one night, I broke out into a horrible rash and I have to wonder if they’re using the broken washing machine to wash all the linens and then just drying them soapy. I have stayed at a lot of places and this was the first time this has happened to me. After reporting to management, they offered a $250 refund which is equal to 10% of ONE night’s stay. We were there 5. Not worth the price, won’t be back

Called and emailed with no response until the very last day. We needed more towels and the day we left they finally got back to us but said we were unable to get more. It was not the cleanest, but there's a Target near by where I bought wipes and wiped everything down, including the balcony. The view was amazing, part of the ocean to the right. It's a shame that they're implementing a 6" open only for the balcony doors because it is 60% of what is so terrific about the room. If you're into shopping, there are a lot of places to go close by, namely the huge mall. The staff are very nice and helpful. I was overcharged the resort fee, but I was refunded after my stay. Luckily, I didn't really need any requests because it's a bit difficult to get in touch with the owners of the rooms. All in all, I would re-book this place (unless the balcony door is permanently closed so you can't sit out).

Overall the Ala Moana is a beautiful property and conveniently located to restaurants and fabulous shopping and to our family stationed at Pearl Harbor. The Ala Maona hotel staff were friendly and responsive. However, this rental was a disappointment. The entire unit needs a facelift to include the bedding, lighting and Smart TV. The satellite TV was spotty. The microwave is so old its hard to read the buttons. The trash cans are rusted. The bathroom: poor lighting, crack in sink, unclean, ALL bathroom fixtures are outdated including the dollar store shower curtain. We stayed for 7 days and given 3 sets of towels. I twice called the rental office for extra towels, I received a text reminding me that this was a rental and I should visit the laundry in the building to wash the towels. Horrible customer service. I am a Travel Agent and will not recommend renting this unit nor will we stay there again.

Anyway, the rooms are spacious and very satisfying. Even in expensive Hawaii, you can enjoy take-out meals in your room. There is also a washing machine, so you don't have to worry even if you are staying for a long time.However, the Wi-Fi is fatally unavailable. You can't connect in the bedroom, and the connection disconnects quickly in the dining room. It would be difficult to even check SNS in the room.The kitchen equipment is old and lacks a lot of things, but it is acceptable. During our stay, the drain pipe in the kitchen was clogged, but it was repaired immediately.Also, the power supply in the bathroom did not work, so I could not use the hairdryer.As mentioned above, I had a lot of complaints, but the size of the room and the location make it all bearable.However, I would ask for improvements to the Wi-Fi.

Our 1st bad experience in this hotel/condo where we have stayed several different units multiple times & had 5star experiences. I booked in Oct, tried to chk-in for our Dec stay at designated time of 3pm. Hotel did not receive my booking from Lei until 3:40pm & that's a lot of time off our 3nt stay! ~Walked into unit, big puddle on floor coming from fridge. Had to mop daily. Lei Hi Realty had "Leave a message" every time we called to report. EVERY towel provided had musty odor. Dropped my eyeglasses, they bounced underneath bed. Noticed blue plastic thing under bed & w/o my glasses, grabbed to see what it was. A USED tampon applicator!!! DISGUSTING!! ~Bathrm mirror lighting not bright enough for shaving, make-up app, etc. Never saw shower temp handle like one in this unit & I've traveled the world. Husband who is good at figuring out a new fangled device couldn't get it either. Spent our 3nts having showers too cold or too hot. 1st time we'd stayed in a unit here that had no kitchen sink. Had to wash dishes in bathrm sink & no dishrack provided. Used one of the musty towels for drying.~I dislike leaving bad review for a hotel/condo we usually love. I will say that beds & bedding in this unit were comfy & clean. View fantastic. AC worked well. Other units in this hotel are cared for & it's a shame this 27th fl one is not.

We love the space. The rooms are perfect. Furniture is stylish but the actual rooms can use some updates. The front door doesn't open well with the carpet, the bathrooms all need updates. The shower heads / controls definitely needs to be replace. The toiletries also needs to be updated. We did not have any bath bars so we all had to use face / hand soap. It would be nice to have good toiletries. Doesn't have to be premium but normal quality would be nice. The unit should provide a starter kit of Hand/face soap for the sink, bath bars for the shower, shampoo and conditioner separately. Also the sink in the kitchen smelled pretty bad. The refrigerator seal is coming off. But other than that we love the unit and would love to book it again.
