This was an amazing stay! Less than 5min walk to the sand, surrounded by all kinds of dining shops and things to so. View was spectacular, patio is big and spacious, room was more than big enough with stunning views at every window.
There were lots of extra towels, a closet full of beach items, kitchen had anything you could need to cook a meal on site. Property owner Howard communicated very well, gave all information we needed in detail and was beyond kind! Room is conveniently located next to trash and laundry, but you do not hear or smell anything.
This properly made our trip for sure! When we come back to Waikiki we will definitely try to stay here again as well as recommended it to anyone we know is visiting. Thank you Howard for allowing us to enjoy this place for our honeymoon!

We have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan multiple times over the last 15 years. We have used this property no less than five or six of those times. This is a very nice unit with outstanding views. The owner, Howard, has always been very responsive and it is easy to deal with. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay here was excellent! The photos of the ocean views really don’t do this place justice!!!! We got in late at night and when we woke up our first morning we were totally taken aback by the incredible ocean view and sunrise over diamond head which you can see from the kitchen. We spent every morning enjoying our coffee on the lanai. I’ve been to Waikiki 4 or 5 times now and this has been the best stay yet (we usually have stayed in tower 1 of the banyan). I also love how this place just felt like a home, more than a hotel. Thank you Howard for being a great host/answering questions fast. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their next oahu getaway! We will absolutely be back! Hopefully sooner than later!!!

This property and unit were amazing! Complex was quiet and the grounds very clean. This corner unit had breath taking views. Shopping and restaurants abundant. Groceries nearby as well as Starbucks. The owner, Howard, was on top of any maintenance issues! Definitely will be back!

The place was very clean with plenty of kitchen items if you plan to have a meal or reheat some leftovers. It was nice to have beach items, boogie boards- beach chairs, in the condo. As somebody who has difficulty sleeping whenever I stay in hotels, my wife and I found the bed very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Being 2 blocks from the beach, free parking and a great balcony view to enjoy while having a morning coffee are also pluses of renting this unit. I would not hesitate to stay hear again. 1 last thing, the elevators are fine and not slow like somebody stated in a previous review.

Beautiful views in every direction! Amazing being so high up in Tower 2 on the 34th floor. Peaceful lanai and sounds from the ocean. Able to see the sunset from the bedroom and kitchen windows. Spacious and clean. Convenient location near the ocean and restaurants. Lovely large dining room table. As an added bonus, it had boogie boards, beach mats, chairs, umbrella, and beach toys - we added a professional snorkel set and waterproof phone pouch to the mix. Smart TV for logging into your subscriptions (when we had our niece and nephew over a few nights and they enjoyed the comfy pull out sofa and watching Finding Nemo). The kitchen had all the essentials (coffee maker, tea kettle, pots, pans, utensils) although we did borrow a larger cutting board, baking sheets, and knives for cooking from our family who were staying in other units. Only downside was the balcony door was hard to open and close, and didn't seal at the top. We'll let the owner know, as I'm sure it's something their agents can fix. We would certainly stay here again and recommend Howard's condo to others.

I have been to Honolulu 4 times and I know how the price range I have to pay for a good stay.
Still I believe the property needs better management. The floor was sticky and not cleaned. Kitchen was small and old. Cooking pans were uncoated and old as well. So we had to clean the floor by ourselves. We bought a pan and disposable dishes to cook. Bathroom was small and not cleaned well.
Definitely in a great location and has amazing view but worse among 4 properties I have stayed in Waikiki with similar price range.

The view from the property is spectacular. Every windows had either ocean view of diamondhead view.
Cleanliness of the bathroom(hair in the strainer) and water pressure could be better but the view make up for it. You can’t beat the price even if you are able to get Kamaaina discount.
The property had all the beach items you will need. The owner was kind and easy to reach as well.
Only major downside was we never wanted to leave the room.

Of the many places and short term rental properties on this and other islands, Howard’s condo was too-notch. Clean, well-maintained, conveniently located, we’re all important factors when we search for a place and Howard’s immaculate unit exceeded our expectations. Mahalo for getting the leaking faucet fixed right away. We enjoyed the great views of the ocean, mountains, and pool, Howard! We’d definitely love to stay here when we’re back on Oahu. Mahalo!

Good location and a clean and comfortable condo, Howard was easy to work with and check-in/out was a breeze. The building is dated but well maintained, and some mentioned slow elevators but we found them to be quick for a high rise building. Free parking a very nice perk and we would stay here again if we were to return to Oahu.

Great unit & location. Spacious, inviting & great view of the water. We have stayed in 6-8 different units at the Banyan and this was the best one we’ve had in the price range. Well worth it & Howard was very easy to work with. Only suggestion would be to perhaps have a few more towels and a replacement set of sheets available for a family of four for two weeks. All in all, we would recommend it & wouldn’t hesitate to return to this unit!

This condo has nice views and was a good match for what we wanted. We've been to Waikiki several times and would choose to return to this condo. We wanted to be in walking distance to the surf beach and to have a pleasant place to hang out in case the weather isn't perfect. The hotel is a bit dated but the condo itself has a nice feel and is spacious. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony...its a nice spot. We are fairly budget conscious so this was a good fit when comparing the options. The owner was incredibly nice to work with when were thought our flight was going to be cancelled. That was much appreciated.

I would definitely rent this condo again. The only thing that needs attention is the inoperative deadbolt lock and the security key that fit nothing. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyon. This corner unit is compact and has great views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The accommodations were very comfortable for 4 adults and it was great to have air conditioning! It is a super location and easy to get around in busy Honolulu! Easy access to the highway and lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood.

Highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it. The view is even more stunning than the photos reflect. The breeze that comes through from being so high up is incredible. Location is perfect. Close to everything you could need and want. The unit is very well stocked and cozy. Sofa bed and main bed are comfortable as is the furniture in general. The host is awesome. We’ve stayed at the Banyan before so we’re familiar with the facility and Koko Resorts management. We really enjoyed this unit - great views, corner unit, next to laundry room, furniture in good condition, 2 televisions with access to Netflix. Howard was very responsive and check in/out was a breeze. The location is great - easy access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Pool was nice and was not overly crowded.
The parking pass is one of the main selling points of staying at the Banyan. Plenty of parking stalls and easily accessible from both towers.
I would rate Koko Resorts 3/5 for this stay. They didn’t have enough clean linens for our unit in addition to some other things they could have done better. Customer service was not great this time around.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and we would return.

My wife and I have been staying in the banyan for the past decade and love it. The location is great for us. Close enough to everything you want but still quiet and secluded.
This unit was very nice. Clean with great views. The unit matched the pictures and the description.
It was very nice having a unit with a king size bed. We do wish it would have been a little more comfortable. The bed was very firm and could definitely benefit from, at the very least, a mattress topper.
The blanket appropriation was a bit lacking, or we could not find extra bedding. Having 2 TVs was a nice luxury. I am very good with technology and figuring out all of the remotes and operation took some time. After a week my wife still never figured it out. Possibly create a “cheat-sheet,” with instructions.
The sliding glass doors are off track missing screws preventing it from closing all the way creating a huge draft and whistling noise with the cross breeze. We called the management company and we’re told they would call us back but never did.
All in all we had a great stay. The unit could use some updates but it would be more of an extra and not necessities.

We adore Waikiki Banyan! This unit is quite nice and is a corner unit, which is larger than the regular units. The decor is lovely and I was very excited to see the little library. I very much appreciated the books on the birds and flowers of Hawaii, especially since we had feathered visitors on the lanai each morning!
My only concerns about the entire experience were that the lanai door didn't close all the way, the bedroom door seemed to try and hop off the track quite easily, and the garbage disposal had a bit of an odor. We also didn't receive any checkout instructions, so we just checked out the way we have checked out from other units on previous trips.
Overall, I definitely recommend this unit. The location of the Banyan affords a gorgeous view, there is a fabulous pool, and the beach is a quick easy walk away. The parking garage is also a huge selling point, and the fact that a parking pass is included for no extra charge is amazing.

Comfortable unit, with breathtaking views, near wonderful restaurants. If you plan on cooking in unit be sure to bring all food, even salt. Coffee provided for 1 pot/ day. No need to cook though, since unit is walking distance to great expensive and inexpensive options. Stayed in Waikiki to to finally visit Pearl Harbor on our way to Kuaui .

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at the Banyan condo for 4 night. 1st , thank you Howard for answering my questions about the condo before booking and responding so quickly when we were here. We all fit very comfortably ( even my 6+ ft son) The location can not be beat, the views of Waikiki skyline and diamond head are gorgeous. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the beautiful lanai facing the ocean , truly amazing! The condo has a full size fridge and cooking oven and stove and even a slow cooker. Coffee maker and a toaster were handy for all our breakfasts. All utensils and dishes and cooking pans were a bit dingy and spotted, but was not a big deal, we pre washed all we needed. Floors look new, beds comfortable ( even the pull out sleeper) and bathroom is tiny but we didn’t mind. Plenty of bath and kitchen towels
The parking !! Soooo helpful to have it included with the condo . We ventured out every day to explore the island and knowing you don’t have to deal with parking situation ( we New Yorkers feel the pain ) was a great deal.
2 beach chairs , 2 mats and beach umbrella + 4 beach towels were super handy .

Property was as we expected. Could maybe have had a few more utensils but we made do. View of the ocean is great, even saw some whales. Only issue was the bath tub tap dripped quite a lot and is annoying. Just folded up a face cloth and laid it over the drain. This eliminated most of the dripping sound.

Our condo had a lovely view of the ocean from the 34th floor. It is part of a large complex. We didn't try out the pool but it looked quite nice. Check-in instructions were very detailed and we had no problem getting in. We had a car and like this location for ease of access to the freeway. We also could walk to Waikiki beach and to shops and restaurants easily.
The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed mattress was a typical mattress for a sofa bed. The A/C worked well, everything worked well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

My husband, 2 daughters, and I stayed for a long weekend. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the beach and many stores/restaurants. We rented a car so the garage was great. The views from the room are amazing. The bathroom was a little outdated but everything else was perfect! Both Tv's worked and had plenty of stations and Both beds were comfortable. The pool/hot tubs and Sauna was a big plus for my family. I would definately stay at this location again.

I reached out to the owner of the property as the final payment deadline approached because we were concerned that COVID health restrictions could interfere with our trip and we would be out of pocket for the condo. The owner understood our concerns and extended the deadline. He was so accommodating that my wife and I were both shocked and impressed by it.
We did reach out to him a couple of times just days before our trip to try to arrange an earlier check-in and he didn’t respond but we called the property management company and were able to make arrangements through them.
We’ve stayed at the Banyan several times now; each time at a different unit. We like the location and we like the BBQ deck on the 6th floor. We found the unit was clean; the kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed. The view was fantastic: Diamond Head out the kitchen and bedroom windows and Waikiki beach from the lanai. Perfect for coffee every morning and cocktails every evening.
It did take us a while to figure out the TV in the living room and we never did get the bedroom TV to work. The living room TV was just a matter of pushing the button on the side of the TV itself to change the input.
We had a few instances of people getting into the elevator and refusing to put on their mask which was a little concerning. Would have liked to have seen Security doing the occasional spot-checks, but it is what it is.
We would definitely stay here again.

Lockbox at door faulty. 30 minutes to get in. No basics such as salt, pepper, sugar and creamer substitutes. Frying pan handles were falling off requiring retightening. Bed was actually older twins. Toilet handle broke after two days. Management failed to repair. Had to reach in reservoir manually to flush-gross. Floors were extremely dirty-white socks were soiled after wearing them for an hour. Silverware was old.
Location was great. Pool area was nice. Furnishings in living and dining were good. Coffee shop was nice.

We have stayed at many condos at the Banyan over the last 20 years. Hotel owned, Koko Resorts owned and privately owned. Howard's privately owned condo has been far the best. Ocean views from the Lanai and bedroom and a view of Diamond Head as well as it's a corner unit. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking full meals (much needed during this next surge of covid and reduced restaurant options). We highly recommend Howard's condo and hope to stay there again next September!

What first caught my eye was the corner unit, and you can see diamondhead from the kitchen while you cook!
There is huge opening windows in the kitchen, behind the bed and on the bedroom wall, which is actually all windows with that gorgeous view again!
The air was so fresh with the windows open and we never used the brand new a/c unit… we turned it on once just to see that it pumped out the cold air, it did, but it wasnt needed with natural wind and breezes through the condo.
Bath/shower has nice lil window too for lots of ventilation.
Both tv’s were brand new, with amazon firestick, and all the latest apps like netflix etc!
Kitchen had all the necessities for some cooking when you’re tired of dining out.
Very nice unit, we look forward to staying again!

My husband and I loved staying in this condo. We loved the quiet corner unit with a view of most of Diamond Head from the kitchen and a breath taking view of the ocean from the living room and bedroom. The furniture was not modern but comfortable and quaint Hawaiian style. The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The two TVs were more then adequate. We didn't need to use the phone and we couldn't get the radio to turn on but that was a minor thing. Basically, the entire condo was well equipped and clean and we couldn't have asked for more. We stayed six nights and would have loved to stay more nights as it was hard to leave. This is our home away from home and we hope to come back to this unit again. The free parking is a must if you want to travel around the Island and the location of the Waikiki Banyan is easy access to all the main roads. If a view is important to you at a reasonable price, then this is the condo you want to choose.

This condo has nice view from balcony and very clean room environment with convenient kitchen. From balcony, we can see swimming poor, tennis court, and BBQ are on the roof of parking lot, not only ocean view and Waikiki skyline. My family was enjoying the stay by watching movie in the room and free wifi available.
I experienced a couple trouble during last stay.
When I've arrived at Banyan Condo, we noticed that we had to receive information of the room # and key code from Owner. Fortunately, I could reach at the owner's phone number and he kindly support us very well to get in the room. I suggest everybody should contact with owner definitely to make sure everything before leaving home.
Also, I was got a caution from management that we put towel on balcony. That was not accepted for regulation of the tower. Hopefully, I want to stay here again someday.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that it was too short. Next time we visit Waikiki Banyan, we will book two weeks. This condo's location makes it very convenient to walk to the beach, to the park and to the stores. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.
