We stayed in this building along with other friends. Group of 10, with 5 condos rented. It was nice to be able to sit in the community patio and grassy area as a group with an ocean view. We would all bring down our food and beverages in mornings and evenings. This allowed us hang out as a group without being in a restaurant. Building has everything needed for a nice stay. All units were clean and the response from property management was outstanding. It was great that everyone in my party could fine a room style that suited them and their budgets. We prefer this side of Waikiki so can get away from the noise and hustle in Waikiki proper. About the unit, giving 3 starts overall because the blinds really need to go. It's impossible to open the blinds and with them down all the time, I felt like I was living in a cage. Just like the photo shows, so I knew to expect those blinds, but it took me a couple days to get used to the experience. The blinds make it almost impossible to open the slider for a breeze. Everyone in my party agreed they would stay in this building again. I would consider a different condo, but this one is good enough. Higher the better, otherwise you'll be looking at roofs, but this is reflected in the price.

Location was perfect just outside of Waikiki. Used Kaimana as our home beach for kids. Rented a car a few days from rental on southside of Waikiki. Short walk there, bus back. Nice to be outside of Waikiki traffic when driving to other parts of island. Nicely equipped condo. AC a bit noisy, but not big issue.

We had a great time at Diamond Head Beach. Great views from the balcony and the property patio area. The traffic was a little noisy at times, but nothing excessive - Waikiki is a busy place! We appreciated the toaster, hot plate, and coffee maker for light breakfast prep. I highly recommend this property if staying in Honolulu for a few days.

The condo unit was accurately described and very clean. Jan provided everything needed for a 10 day stay. She pays attention to detail! The property is also safe with easy access to the main area of Waikiki. Easy access to many places using Uber. There are good restaurants within walking distance and a large park across the street. Beautiful views out each side of the room. I can recommend this property.

Perfect spot!! We were there during the storm & it would have been really nice if the water would get hot, it only got warm! The onsite property manager was great. The booking manager was unresponsive or took a long time to respond and when he responded - he did not address our specific questions. Very frustrating. We will be back. Thank you!

we had a TV that did not work even when they replaced its so without communication the whole time we were there during the storm we were in our room from 8 am until 5 pm mopping up water from under the door spent way to much time trying to get the TV to work and it never did the manager was helpful (front desk) but still couldn't fix it. we have been staying at the DHBH since 1977 so were very disappointed

Difficult access for mobility challenges. Parking. Arrived to property, difficulty accessing lock box, finally able to obtain key/parking FOB. Parking in garage very tight,even for small car. Park nearby. Beach down street, walking distance. For more able, walking to town accessible. For our needs, unit was challenging r/t Microwave in upboard above fridge - had to use step stool (very small), danger for those with balance and mobility issues. Possibly for anyone getting hot food/drinks out. TV was difficult, no instruction on site - kept getting "no signal". Have to say, value for this unit based on viewing unit next door lacked for appeal for homey to feel and better ammenities. People in general living/staying were very friendly. Security on duty at night.

We loved staying in this area. It's next to the park and the ocean. Quiet for Waikiki and a little secluded. Enjoyed waking up the to sound of the fountain each morning. The T.V. in the room was complicated to figure out and didn't get local stations other than prerecorded local news. Maybe add an antenna to the T.V.? Just a suggestion. Husband was bummed he couldn't watch football on network T.V.

Beautiful 12th floor view from this 1 bedroom apartment. About a 15 walk from Waikiki, with good snorkeling in front of the building itself. The apartment was clean, comfort and quiet, although the bedroom A/C unit was a little noisy. We'd stay here again.

This was our THIRD stay at Jan’s penthouse, and we love it there. For us, it’s all about the awesome views and quiet location. Our favorites are waking up to the sunrises that can be seen easily from the room, and ending the day in the lovely lawn enjoying the sunsets. Jan is a wonderful host providing so many extra perks like giving us plenty of coffee and bottled water for our two week stay. Having Tide available for doing laundry was truly appreciated as well. Jan will take good care of you so don’t hesitate to stay, you will love it here! !

Location was amazing - three of us spent 9 days here - the building itself is quite old the condo could use a little more utensils - frying pan and spatula would be awesome - but it was a quite place we quickly grew to enjoy coming back to every day - snorkeling in your backyard and hunting for sea glass - great stay!!

We loved the location, the cleanliness and view from the lanai in the condo. However we were very surprised to find out that you had to go through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom. Not at all private when there are 2 couples staying together. Had to go to the bathroom to change clothes. This was not included in the description, which it needs to be!

We had a very nice day. It was a little walk to get to Waikiki, but it helped keep us in shape. A little bit away from the hustle and bustle and very close to Diamondhead Pickleball courts, which was appealing to us.

The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There were treats greeting us, as well as water, which was very welcoming. It is in a great location that is easily walkable to Waikiki. The pictures are accurate and we had a very enjoyable stay. Despite spending most of our visit outside of the condo, it was a welcoming reprieve when we got back each night! Indoor furniture is dated and uncomfortable should have a nicer at least comfortable couch for price… Also patio needs the couch pulled out and a good sweep….Biggest challenge was lack of basic supplies to keep the kitchen clean for ourselves and the next guests…kitchen was not very well equipped we were left two dishwasher pods for a ten day stay making keeping the dishes clean a challenge we were left a quarter small container of dish soap meaning the dishes and pots were not easy to keep clean and were left three small kitchen garbage bags

We had an absolute terrible experience at that location. We will never use the services again due to our experience.When we arrived, they told us the room was ready to check in when we open the door. The place was an absolute disaster and had not been cleaned yet! We had to leave and come back over an hour later. The property manager was absolutely rude, inconsiderate. We will probably never use these services again to do to this experience.

I had a great time here! Struggling with finding the lockbox in the beginning was about the only main issue! Lana was wonderful in her responsiveness to things I needed help with such as a clogged bathtub drain. Polite, professional and, so kind! I was here for the Honolulu Merrie Mile and Start to Park 10k. I felt as if I was in a great location for all of the activities I was interested in. The Lanai area on the bottom level was great! Close to the water to hear the ocean and plenty of places to lay out and tan when not swimming. I would book this room again in the future!!!

The front desk advised us where to park the mopeds we rented and we received parking tickets for following those instructions... The only other thing that was less than perfect is the bed mattress should be replaced...

The location was good and the owners were easy enough to work with. They responded quickly when we needed the parking space number (had requested parking at booking but did not get that information in the check-in process provided). The unit overall needs some serious work. The major kitchen appliances are new, but the furniture is old, the place needs a serious cleaning, wallpaper is coming off the wall, the light over the dining table doesn’t work, and worst of all was the plumbing backups in the bathroom. The owners were quick to respond and offered a plumber but after talking with others on the floor we discovered this was a whole floor and potential building issue.

Being on the end with the large balcony overlooking the water was great. The furniture is quite dated however. The biggest problem was the lock on the front door was broken and we did not get a response back in time from the owner before we were in a place where we couldn’t respond. There was no one at the front desk for us to report the problem. As a result, the door lock wasn’t fixed until the next day and only because one of us stayed behind and was able to wait for someone at the desk to appear.

Very cute! A 4 day stay. We arrived at midnight, we took an Uber from the airport. No problems getting there or getting into the room. We walked everywhere and also enjoyed our beautiful view, peaceful , safe. Kitchenette with microwave, electric tea kettle and even an induction cooktop. Dishes, soap, towels provided. Host responded quickly to any questions., and gave good instructions. Cute convenience store a block down. We definitely plan to return. Thank you!! A wonderful time!!!

This is a nice unit with a full kitchen. The bed is comfortable. There were some issues with wifi but the property manager addressed this quickly. Overall it was a good place to stay and we had no problem parking at the park across the street.

I was back visiting my god daughter who lives in HNL. I was with her mom, my bestie. Great location, on the water, view and deck spectacular. Quiet. The unit had everything we needed. Free parking was easy across at Kapiolani Park. Good communication with Vrbo/owner, especially when checking in and out of the unit.
Great to be able to walk to everything. Hiking diamond Head easy and close. Great to run around Kapiolani Park. Had a chance to paddle from the Outrigger Canoe Club a couple of buildings down. Yoga on the grass area at Kaimana beach a two minute walk.

The view from the back grass area has amazing sunsets. Parking is only verry cheap and free from 6pm until 10am across the street at the park. Room is as shown. Couch and bed are nice. We wish it had a better sink for dishes but not the biggest problem. Only complaints was the shower not draining fast enough. I would recommend
