I stayed at this property during a recent work trip to Oahu and it’s was the perfect fit for my needs. I had more space than staying in a hotel The building was pleasant and the neighborhood was quiet but convenient. I’d definitely stay here on future work and leisure trips to Oahu!

This was a nice, clean place to stay. Walking distance to beach access, restaurants and shopping. Would recommend walking or Uber, not a car rental as parking is a little tricky with the popularity of the beach.

Shades are see through, so there is no privacy in room. We had to undress in the dark, so nobody could see us. Makeshift curtain in bathroom is also see through, so no privacy there. The view is just of other apartments and buildings that can look at you. The bed lacks any firmness whatsoever. The paid parking situation is horrible, and one of our parking days was taken away just before our trip after we paid for it. The door doesn't have any locks from the inside, so you have to hope that nobody knows the combo to room lock and opens the door while you sleep. The shower is extremely small. There are only slats in the bathroom door and no fan, so there is no privacy while doing your thing in the bathroom. The free parking situation is a complete joke.We left 2 days early and ate the cost, so we could feel safe sleeping somewhere else.

There's a reason why the pictures of this small condo is blurry, when my girlfriend and I stepped into the apartment she was not happy, I could see the disgust on her face that she was not impressed by this booking ,the place looked mediocre to say the least #1 The view in the pictures is a reflection off the mirror taking in perfect blur but has a obstructive view with trees and buildings blocking but the pictures make you think that the views are great. #2 The condo has been built out on to the balcony to create more living space but there's about four inches of foot space from the living room to stand on the balcony #4:The shower is smaller than a airplane bathroom you had to take the shower head off to shower because it's so small my girlfriend hit her head to pick up shampoo bottle off the floor #4 The electrical is faulty. I had to use the toaster on the foot of the bed on the floor, my girlfriend hair dryer in bathroom kept switching off because the electrical was not powerful enough so she used it in the living room. #5 check out time is 10:00 AM but at 9:58 AM House keeping came busting in without knocking then announced house keeping! after scaring the crap out of us. I told her you could of knocked first she replied check out is at 10:00 I replied its 9:58! she replied people are usually gone by now then she stepped back out as we were leaving going down hall she said you "feel better now @$$ hole." I was shocked to be spoken like that very unprofessional :-(

We came for my 50th birthday and chose this wonderful property as our home base. Very happy with our entire stay. I loved the breeze through the condo at night. The room has everything you could want and the beach is very close by. Stunning sunset views from the garden area each night. This was my first visit to O‘ahu and I plan to come back.

Location was far enough away from Waikiki to avoid the crowds, but close enough to walk. Noise from the road and outdoor concerts was pretty loud. Barefoot Cafe was close and good quick eats.

The location is less crowded than Waikiki, yet it is a 5 minute walk to the crowds. Swimmimg at beach yiu never know who will show up. We had turtles swimming with us and a monk seal swam in to sun bathe. It was great.

I stay at this complex when I visit. I must say unit 704 is da BEST updated and clean unit I’ve stayed in. I’ll be booking this unit for my next visit to Oahu. Mahalo 🤙

Pictures of the AD is not the views from this studio. Out the front door is an amazing view of Diamond Head. The view across the room is of the ocean. The Studio is large and remodeled. The garden at the water is peaceful but has no sand.

It was clean and nice. The view isn’t good from your room but the place is beautiful when you got out back to lay out. The owner was very easy to work with and she was nice, quick and smooth. I would stay here again!!!

We had a great experience staying in this Diamondhead condo. Check-in was easy and the condo was clean and well-stacked with essentials. The building had a quiet seating area that overlooks the water that was perfect for watching sunsets. Lana was kind and responsive, and was flexible in allowing us to check-in a couple hours early. Perfect location within walking distance to Waikiki. Would highly recommend!

Love the location, prior visits to Honolulu we stayed in Waikiki area. This time we stayed in the Gold Coast area a short Uber ride to Waikiki or a beautiful walk along the park and Beach area. The grassy area and patio area in front of the condo was a beautiful view of the sunset. The condo had everything you needed from pots and pans to towels love the keyless entry, had good instructions prior to the visit on how to enter the gate area and the condo and how to leave when we checked out.

I am in the middle of a move from CA and needed a place to land until I could find a place to rent. This place was perfect. The hostess was so gracious, even letting me have my dog with me. This was definitely a bright spot in what was otherwise a very stressful time for me. Right by the park and a short walk to the restaurants and shops in Waikiiki, quick access to Diamond Head Rd to run or join a yoga class by the beach. It's perfect.

Stayed for a week in this unit and it was as comfortable and clean as it looks in the pictures. The king bed was very comfortable and the unit well appointed with everything you need. I have stayed in this building numerous times and this is by far one of the nicest suites. Lana the host provided clear instructions and on arrival details and everything worked out well. When I had to contact Lana with questions she was very responsive which was very appreciated. I highly recommend renting unit 704 as it was a fantastic quiet spot in Diamond head about 10-15 minute walk to busy Waikiki. Enjoy your stay!

This was our 3rd trip to Oahu and first time staying in the quiet area of Diamond Head. There was not immediate beach access but a very nice outside area with tables and chairs as well as lounge chairs on a grassy area in front of sea wall. We met a very nice resident, Jenna who lives in the building.
Nice location. Short walk to beach. Happy to find a small convenience store nearby. We used Uber to get around.
We checked in early and property manager was nice about it. Would stay again.

This review is based on a six (6) night stay with my wife and includes accuracy and transparency, in our opinion:
Positives:
+Cleanliness. It was obvious that the unit was very clean and tidy. Newer appliances and furniture. Rug was a little dirty but that's probably because other guests don't take off their shoes.
+The Bed was large and comfortable. Clean and comfortable linens.
+Proximity to the ocean/surf, Waikiki, Kapi'olani Park, Diamond Head, and Kahala. Just outside of all the chaos in Downtown Waikiki.
+Views. Excellent view of Diamond Head outside one window and a cropped view of Waikiki out the other.
+Good water pressure in the shower; and sink faucet heats up quickly.
+The reception staff is very nice.
+Check in is somewhat easy. Access to unit is easy with key pad. No fumbling with a room key.
+Text message responses from the host were timely.
+Large TV with Cable TV and other popular apps; along with WiFi.
+Parking is plentiful assuming it's not a weekend and there isn't a special event nearby.
+Security and privacy.
+Although we weren't able to utilize it, the host granted us an early 2 hour arrival.
+Sufficient bath and beach towels.
+Good supply of kitchen utensils.
Negatives:
-The check in process can be cumbersome if you purchase the parking through HAR. Since the host has no affiliation with the parking authority, the arrival process and entering was a bit confusing.
-No screens on any of the windows to keep out critters.
-Not the host's fault, but someone was consistently smoking in one of the other units nearby with cigarette smoke constantly wafting into the unit.
-No stove top. Kitchen silverware should be upgraded. The silverware with the pointy ends lacks any ergonomics and is difficult and uncomfortable to eat with.
-No detailed/laminated instruction guide inside the unit, outlining all the rules and information pertaining to the unit.
-No convenient place to dry off wet clothes. The only place is a small rack outside on the small balcony, but it is very rusty and will stain anything that is not black.
-The layout of the furniture doesn't make sense. The couch is perpendicular to the TV, and the couch completely blocks the big sliding glass door.
-The host only seems to only communicate through texts, and doesn't pick up the phone.
-Most importantly, the communication and vibe with the host was always a bit awkward. She was nice, but lacked Aloha. As my wife is Native Hawaiian, that is most important.

Clean apartment, quiet building, friendly neighbors/guests and good response time from host. Kitchen was equipped with appliances and dishes to prepare meals. There is a clothes rack to hang your outfits along with plenty of storage space in dresser drawers Beautiful views from the window. Comfortable bed/mattress. Stunning courtyard located right above the water. Excellent place to start with a cup of coffe and to end your day with a glass of wine. Would come here again!

Condo was outside of Waikiki it was nice, clean with everything we need it for our stay. My son was comfortable and happy!
Walking distance to beach and town and all amenities. Only one mile away which it made a nice exercise walk every morning for us.

We loved our stay at Diamond Head. The room was just as described, bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was kitchen supplies to cook meals if you wanted and the views from the room are incredible. Check in process was easy and host was very accommodating about early check in and flexible. The property is as advertised. Clean, comfy bed, and great location. Short walk to the beach and about 15 minutes to Waikiki resturants and shops. Very quiet neighborhood with a huge park across the street. The outside lounging area is very nice with great views of surfers, sail boats, and sunsets. The only down side is parking. If you don't pay for the garage, parking is difficult especially on the weekends. However, we did manage but it would have been nice not to have to worry about getting a spot. All in all a great stay and would return.

The location is great. The views on both sides are beautiful! But, the bathroom sink didn't drain and there wasn't any cold water at the bathroom sink and no hot water at the kitchen sink, and our check in was a mess. Lana was apologetic. We had a nice time anyway.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great location. Lots of wind and 11 inches of rain in one day. Kitchen was great, Bathroom great. My concern is comfortable seating. The couch and chair are not to a standard and the rug under them is not clean. Landlord should provide two key fobs for access. Mahalo

This was an excellent choice for convenience, amenities, location. The unit was a beautifully decorated and clean space for two during a 7-day stay on Oahu. Lana was great in her communication and assistance. The building was secured but the back patio/ yard that opened to the ocean and sunset was fabulous as I used it to walk to the beach. The Kaimani beach was a 3 min walk and the access to Kapiolani was gem.. parking for free at the park and on the street was fine and free for the 7days. Definitely would stay here during our next stay as the access to Waikiki was so convenient we wanted to be there with out the crowds when we didn't.

This studio condo is perfect for a single or couple and has everything you need for light cooking. Updated modern decor and clean, you get to wake up to a lovely distant view of the ocean from the living room. We appreciated the ductless cooling system. And, our host, Lana, made our trip very special with great communication and thoughtfulness. We will certainly stay here again in the future. A+

Great studio type apartment with lots of room for the two of us. Beautiful view of the ocean with reflecting glass on one wall so it seemed twice as big. Everything we needed in the kitchenette, esp. since we didn’t want to cook meals, although there were appliances for that. Modern decor, great linens, great beach supplies, 1/2 mile easy walk to Waikiki central. Quiet building with nice lawn, chairs, chaise lounge chairs, big tables for picnicking on the beachfront. Short walk to snorkeling/swimming beach. Overall great place!
