Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.
CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.
Rentals are not transferable to another party.

This unit has a beautiful view of the marina and the beach. However the furniture are not safe to use. They are falling apart. The sofa bed is very dirty and uncomfortable. It needs new set of in door furniture and outdoor seating chairs. Nobody returned my call when I notified them regarding the broken items in this unit to replace them.

The condo was lovely and well equipped. Perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfortable, along with the sofa and chair. The pub style lanai furniture was nice - you could easily look out from the lanai without any railing obstructions. The 2 beach chairs available made sunning on the beach very comfortable - much better than the bamboo mats normally used.
Overlooking the marina was great. It was much cooler in the afternoon as compared to the lagoon side of the Ilikai. There was always a lot of activity in the marina, from kayakers and sailing dingys, to larger sailboats and tourist vessels. We also enjoyed watching commercial and military ship traffic into the harbours. We also enjoyed watching the aircrafts coming and going from Honolulu airport. We definitely recommend bringing binoculars on your trip. The Ilikai is in a quieter area as opposed to central Waikiki and much closer to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre. Having a Food Pantry just 2 blocks down Hobron Street was convenient although a little pricier than Foodland or Walmart.
Overall we had a great holiday and stay in Room 1737. We would definitely book this room again next time we return to Waikiki. We had 2 of daughters and family staying in other areas of the Ilikai and all said that our condo (1737) was much nicer than theirs.
We would highly recommed the Ilikai and especially condo 1737.

We celebrated our 25 year anniversary here at the Ilikai in unit 1737 the week of November 12-19 and we weren't disappointed. The pictures you see are exactly what you get. The view from the lanai of the condo is amazing! We enjoyed coffee, meals, and drinks on the lanai. It was my favorite place to be as it was so warm and so fun to watch the marina, the sunsets, and the ocean.
The king size bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was great and the kitchen was very nice and had everything you might need during your stay here. There was a beach bag that came in handy, beach towels, and more.
We loved Cinnamons restaurant and the outside seating part of it. Really good food and drinks!
There was live music on the Sunday evening of our arrival and then live music and hula dancers on the Friday evening of our stay followed by a free fireworks display from the Hilton next door.
I could go on and on but this review would be way too long. Mahalo Ilikai and Unit 1737 for a wonderful vacation!

Condo was the nicest I have stayed in, in Honolulu. The decor seemed to be fairly recent, and very clean. We really appreciated the efficient air-conditioning which cooled the entire condo uniformly; unlike the window units in many condos. We WILL be back
