Perfectly situated and well furnished and equipped unit. Unobstructed ocean views and close to everything. Beach chairs are great and snorkel gear for great snorkeling right outside the door off the little beach just a few paces away along the paved walkway in front of the Beach House restaurant next door. We were two couples (my husband and I, and our adult daughter and her boyfriend) and there was room enough for us all to feel comfortable, especially with the lanai. Yes, surfers come down and stage off the lawn out back but that's part of the show- watching the surfers is mesmerizing. At our age, we appreciated the comfortable beds. Would definitely rent this unit again.

You can tell Sara takes great care of this property. Super clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the extras we need to cook breakfast, including baggies to take lunch to the beach. She has also thought of all the things you need on the beach but can't bring with you from the mainland- sand buckets for kids, cooler, bug spray, beach chairs, nice beach towels! She has thought of everything. She is right about opening the front slated door and the back door- you will get all the trade winds keeping you cool. And if that isn't enough, she has provided two loungers and a table and chairs to sit on the lanai for ocean gazing. The location was convenient to all the south shore activities. Would book again!

We had a great stay! Condo was in a perfect location for us. We loved sitting on the lanai watching turtles, ray and even a shark. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Did not have much in the way of salt/pepper, spices, ziplock bags etc - had a few Tupperware type containers. Unit had amazing view towards Poipu and Baby Beach. We had dinner one night at The Beach House (next door). All in all a wonderful spot - we would definitely stay again.

What can I say? This was our first trip to Kauai and I’m so grateful I found this property and that it was available. When we walked in we were first greeted with Hawaiian music playing and a breathtaking view from our lanai! The bed was very comfortable once we removed the pillow top and although I found the pillows too hard for my liking, using the pillows from the living room worked just fine. Speaking of the living room…the furniture was incredibly comfy. Chris was very helpful at answering all our questions prior to our visit that had nothing to do with the condo itself but Instead with recommendations on the best date to book a snorkel trip to the Nepali coast due to weather/water conditions. He didn’t steer us wrong because the captain of our boat said had we booked earlier the water conditions were much more choppy than the day we went. Sitting on the lanai was so relaxing and beautiful that we actually spent our last afternoon hanging out and enjoying the view, the birds, the turtles and the occasional local surfers who would walk by on their way to the point where every evening a slew of them would gather. The closet is completely stocked with Tommy Bahamas sand chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, snorkeling masks/fins and a cooler plus more beach goodies we didn’t use like boogie boards and camp chairs. He even had a couple full size rain umbrellas! I highly recommend staying here and if we should return to Kauai, I already know where we’ll stay!

This condo sits in a magnificent location right on the ocean. One can sit on the lanai and watch the waves surfers and birds. The Condo was quite dated however. It was built in 1973 and does not appear to have been modernized.

This condo was in a really nice location right next to the Beach House resturant. No need to make a reservation at the Beach House for sunsets, just walk over with your adult beverage and take a seat on the grass right outside! My husband and I found the condo to be a little smaller than what we are used to. I believe it could possible work for a small family but not for 2 couples. The location was excellent! Easy drive to all of the beaches on the south side of the island. Mahalo!

The location of the condo was absolutely perfect! You really can’t beat it!That said, the condo itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the photos may make it look more polished, the reality was a bit different. The living room couch was worn and uncomfortable, the patio furniture wasn’t very comfortable-definitely not the cozy furniture I was hoping for. One of the bedrooms had a headboard, but every time you moved the headboard would hit the wall, which made it less-than-ideal sleep situation. I’m pretty sure I forgot to move the pillows that I placed behind the headboard. There was noticeable dust on the curtain just above my head in one of the bedrooms. A few windows don’t have screens. There areas around the front door and stove was pretty dirty, some of the shutters were broken, there were area that could use a cleaning.I would recommend this place for the location, but just be aware that it’s not as nice as the photos might suggest.

Perfect place for a couple’s getaway! Loved waking up to the view of the ocean. This condo had everything we could have needed, and we used it too! Boogie boards, umbrella, chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment, sun hats, and a first aid kit for my hiking blisters. I was so grateful that they had what I needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Kōloa town was super close for any restaurants or shopping and the beach next to the condo was a great snorkeling spot - even saw an eagle ray and a monk seal!! Owners were responsive and helpful. We spent so much time on the lovely lanai watching the surfers and turtles below. The view is great from inside too with the huge corner windows as well as the sliders onto the lanai. We were only able to tear ourselves away from the view to take advantage of the best snorkel spot on the south shore RIGHT NEXT DOOR, Just grab a mask and fins and walk outside. Also next door is the best place to get a drink and watch the sunset! We definitely hope to come back!

My wife and I absolutely loved this condo and the area! The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower works great, and the whole condo is clean and beautifully designed. The cross-ventilation kept the condo cool most of the time; however the air conditioning works great when it gets hot. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and even a couple coolers. The best part, though, is the patio opens up to a very private ocean view with a protective rock wall and black rock. Literally 10 steps from the ocean! We loved listening to the waves every morning and evening, and you can watch the surfers off in the distance! Lawai bay is 50 yards away with some of the best snorkeling on the island! And the sunsets were beautiful! I highly recommend Kuhio Shores, and 112 is the place to stay, especially for couples! We loved it so much, we already booked it for next summer!

We had an amazing stay at this condo. Located right on the shoreline, we were treated to views of sea turtle sea turtles swimming by and surfers catching waves all day every day. The lawn on seawall is a beautiful place to watch the sunset which we did every night. The location is also very close to restaurants and shopping in Poipu and Kōloa. In fact, the wonderful Beach House restaurant is right next-door to the property.Also just a short drive to Poipu Beach, bonus there are boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels in the closet. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped, and the dining room has a million dollar view. We never even needed to use the air conditioning because the cross breeze from the front door to the lanai kept everything perfect. We spent most of our time out on the lanai because the view was mesmerizing. We even saw the Milky Way right in front of the lanai! And seriously, so many surfers and turtles.The only suggestions that we would make would be that the furniture could use updating as well as the carpet, but this would not deter us from returning. We love this place, not only the apartment but the entire complex.And we can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating the owners were. They sent us a letter and a calendar right after we booked welcoming us which was so sweet.We would 1000% return to this place, we’re still dreaming of that incredible view and miss falling asleep to the sound of the surf.

We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t say enough about how thoughtfully this condo was prepared. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the owners put great care into making sure guests have everything they need for a comfortable and convenient stay.The bathroom was stocked with extras we didn’t expect—body wash, sunscreen lotion and spray, a hair dryer with a diffuser, liquid hand soap, and plenty of soft towels. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed (and more!)—pots, pans, baking supplies, utensils, prep bowls, measuring cups and spoons, a toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, dish towels, sponge, dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods—the list goes on. It made cooking and cleanup a breeze.We also really appreciated the beach gear: four chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, a small cooler, and even ice packs waiting in the freezer. The extras didn’t stop there—there were books, playing cards, a yoga mat, and a foam roller in the living room, and even thoughtful touches in the bedroom like a laundry basket, luggage holder, and a sweeper.Having access to the shared laundry room (with two washers and dryers at 2.50 per load) near the elevator was a big bonus. Our unit was at the end of the building closest to the street, but it was still very quiet and peaceful.
