We loved our stay at the Kuhio Shores condo. The experience from start to finish was excellent. Nancy was a wonderful host and was very responsive throughout the booking process, pre-stay and during our stay. The condo was exactly as described and suited our purposes perfectly. The condo was well appointed and equipped with everything one could need. The location was perfect. Close to everything in the Poipu area yet quiet and peaceful. It made a perfect base for our week exploring Kauai Island. Nancy provided restaurant recommendations, activity recommendations and lots of local area information which made our stay easier and saved us time. We would definitely look to rent this same condo when we visit Kauai in the future.

We loved our stay for a week in this unit. The bed was comfortable and the size of the condo was very spacious for the two of us. We love the Poipu and Kōloa area in particular over the rest of Kaua’i. It feels like home to us when we are there. Kūhiō Shores also is our favorite! The property is kept so nice and clean. We just love it!

The views from the room was astonishing. Watching and meeting the young local surfers made it a fun stay. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The beach supplies were great.If I were to make suggestions, the master mattress was a bit worn. Since the balcony is a key piece of the stay, I suggest better furniture. The tall table only had one chair (there were backless stools in kitchen but not comfortable for dining or the right height. The other item that would be helpful are some hooks on the outside wall at balcony to hang towels from the beach. All in all, it was a fantastic stay

We enjoyed our stay in Kōloa. The view from the lanai was beautiful, we saw sea turtles in the evening and surfers all day. The unit is nicely equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, etc. The beds were comfortable. The bedrooms lack plug outlets, so I suggest bringing a charger with additional outlets. My only complaint is that every evening there were tons of ants climbing up all over the kitchen walls. They would disappear during the day, but were back in the evening. I noticed ant killer under the counter, so I suspect this is an issue at this location.

The Condo is in a great location for visiting the south and west sides of the island. We enjoyed daily hikes in the area. The location provides outstanding views of both sunrise and sunset. The unit is clean and kitchen is well-stocked. I would suggest checking the refrigerator and kitchen cabinet for food and supplies before shopping for groceries since many items are available for use.

The oceanfront! Absolutely spectacular & immersive from the unit. Amazing location close to Spouting Horn, shopping area and Po’ipu resort area without being in the expansive resort land. Very well-appointed unit - plenty of good dishwares, cooking/cleaning supplies, beach wares, umbrella and friendly security/groundskeepers gave us local tips. Very comfortable beds. A few dated or damaged accesories, but understandable since there are so many amenities - impossible to keep up with the state of all of them.

Unbelievably clean. After renting a few places around, I can tell you that this housekeeper is meticulous. This is a lovely little laid-back condo for two and you won’t be disappointed. Watching the surfers every evening was a special treat, especially at the end of the night as the sun set, and they all came in one at a time catching the perfect wave. It could not have been a better cap to our 46 wedding anniversary.

The condo had a spectacular view just as advertised. We were able to see many whales spouting and even a few breaching as well as a pod of dolphins swimming by. It was really nice to watch sitting out on the deck. The unit was clean and I loved the kitchen as it functioned really well. The best part aside from the view was how nice and cool it stayed with the AC on as that was very important for the 4 of us. I will say the place was a bit dated but still very comfortable. The location of it was great as it was just a short walk to an outdoor mall featuring many shops and great eating establishments. As well being right next to The Beach House restaurant and beach was definitely a plus! There were two things however that were a bit disappointing. The condo has all shutter type doors in it making it very difficult to keep the noise down while you are taking a shower etc. So having been sharing it with another couple was difficult because if you got up early it was impossible to keep quiet especially if others were trying to sleep. It would have been much better with solid doors for a sound barrier. The other issue was the deck. Although it was a nice size and comfortable it was full of dead small black flies stuck to the glass panes.It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were many of them flying around mostly in the morning but other than that it was fine. It was a very nice place to stay but I do recommend changing out the indoor doors to the rooms.

Great location, beautiful view, host very communicative, very close to Poipu Beach and lots of shops, and the best bed I’ve slept on in months (and I have a Tempur-Pedic mattress at home, so that’s saying something!). The dryer was broken and not in the unit. We knew the laundry was not in unit but not working. The unit itself was pretty run down and needs some basic maintenance. The mattress was really comfortable and the AC worked great!
