Great right on the ocean property. We saw sea turtles from our balcony and whale spouts. We loved falling asleep to the waves crashing on the rocks right below us. We just opened the windows and did not have to turn on the air conditioner. Nice condo and having the kitchen came in handy. The only thing I would say is that my wife and I only had one bath towel each for the week. It would have been nice to have had 2 towels each. We could have used the pay floor community washer and dryer, but who wants to do that and wait for it to wash and dry, when you are on vacation.

We enjoyed the condo and surroundings very much. The view and location were superb. Our only complaint was the drawers and closets were stuffed with stuff which didn't allow us to unpack our suitcases as there was very limited space to store it. The kitchen was well stocked, but again limited space where we could put our groceries. We were there 3 weeks and it was wonderful.

The condo is perfect for awesome sunrise and sunset views. An awesome location central to many things to do in the island. We loved the condo and it was very cozy and so nice to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the surf on the rocks. We were very happy with our choice of Bob and Merideth’s beautiful condo and can’t wait to return! Mahalo!

The location is great, condo is well stocked and the view is awesome! It was fun to watch the turtles from the lanai.
The only suggestion.....would be to have space for guests to unpack their bags into a dresser and a cabinet for food during the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the room is literally right on the ocean. We listened to the waves all night and watched the turtles on the reefs in the morning. The location is right next to Beach House and Lawai Beach (excellent snorkeling). We'd love to come back!

This property had everything we wanted - an amazing view to watch the sunrises, sunsets and surfers, a well stocked kitchen to cook meals to enjoy on the lenai and a short drive to beaches. We will definitely be back!

The condo is beautiful and the location proved great for our use as home base. The size was perfect for the two of us. The view from the lanai is stunning-we enjoyed watching surfers, sea turtles, sunrises, and sunsets. We found excellent restaurants nearby with The Tasting Room in Koloa standing out as our favorite. We would definitely stay here should we return to Kaui.

This condo. WOW! What a beautiful view and perfect location for getting around the island. Everything you could possibly need was stocked! There were plenty of dishes, cookware, beach chairs, beach towels, soft cooler, etc. Also the gift baskets filled with goodies and coffee was very unexpected but much appreciated!
When we weren’t out exploring, we spent the majority of our condo time out on the lanai in the rocking chairs searching for sea turtles and watching the surfers.
The condo itself is not giant, but provided more than enough room for me and my husband. The lovely renovations by the owners also made the condo feel extra bright and new. I would still choose this condo any day over a hotel room. You truly cannot beat the ocean views.
I noticed that many people have returned back to this unit and I completely understand why after experiencing a stay here!

The condo is in a great location in Poipu. The Beach House Restaurant is right next door. The view is stunning. You can just sit on the patio and watch the turtles and surfers. We even went and sat in the grass one night just to watch the sunset. It was also close to several of our dive spots which made the location perfect.
We booked this location, for our 25th Anniversary trip before heading to our timeshare on the North Shore. The toilet didn’t flush and we had to call the owner. He asked my husband knowing we were VRBO ourselves, if he would fix it. We were a little taken back and said we would, because apparently he has asked the guest before us. We agreed on a small amount of money to get part and our time installing and getting part in Lihue. We took pictures of both and didn’t hear back from the owner until we called VBRO. I didn’t feel like we should have ever had to do that on our vacation. There are plugs in the Master that aren’t in the wall properly and you can’t charge anything because the plugs fall out. We were never able ti get the cable to work in the living room, so we watched TV from the bedroom. The condo could use some new paint.
We enjoyed our stay except the above mentioned issues, that can be addressed quickly. It is a beautiful location.

The condo was nicely maintained and situated. The kitchen had everything we needed and the complex was next to the Beach House restaurant which was excellent, and just a short drive to the coastline hike at Shipwrecks which we did twice. The best beach on the south shore is at the end of that hike. The only issue we had was with a hum that we called the owners about and who immediately got their maintenance team to assess. It wasn't resolved, unfortunately but i know it will be by the time we return, which we will.

We had a great time at the condo. It was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the view and sounds of the ocean from the lanai. At night we slept with windows open to the sounds of crashing waves. The condo is stocked well. We had everything needed on the days we decided to eat in. We come to the Islands every year and have stayed in several VRBO condos over the years. This one is the best so far.

Very happy we splurged and stayed a couple nights here. I lost count of how many sea turtles we saw, and on our first morning, we saw humpbacks in the distance while we had our coffee. The owners were kind enough to have boogie boards for us to use, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. A wonderful experience!

Aloha! We had the best time celebrating our anniversary in this incredible oceanfront condo. There was everything you could want or need, including breathtaking views of the ocean and an abundance of whale watching! We absolutely LOVED this condo! The location within Kuhio Shores was perfect-this unit stack provides the most unobstructed view of the turtles, surfers, and even the bridal parties getting a beautiful sunset photo. Good luck tearing yourself away from the lanai! The condo is situated to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. Bob and Meredith have stocked the condo completely-just bring your swimsuits and touring gear! Everything we could have needed whether cooking meals in, enjoying a beach day or relaxing in comfort was there. The bed is very comfortable and the AC is a plus! We celebrated our 57th Anniversary on Kauai the previous week. It was wonderful. Our airlines changed our times/date for returning home, so we had to find another condo for just one night, and you had yours availaable, just upstairs from where we'd stayed for the week. It was just beautiful, stunningly remodeled, the views spectacular, the furnishings were so comfy, and a perfect last day/night. Thank you for having it available! This place was a beautifully perfect for two or small family. We went to sleep with the ocean in our sights and woke up with the sunrise on the ocean. Bob and Meredith have created a beautiful home away from home. They had get away coolers, sunbrella and everything for the Hawaiian beach life style. Even yoga in the mornings watching the sea turtles.
If there is one thing to complain about it was that there was no ketchup in the fridge. However if that’s all I have to say then that’s on me.

Staying with n this Condi is idyllic. It's built to maximize the experience of being so close to the view. At the kitchen table or in the lanai, you can comfortably view surfer after surfer putting on a show. I love the sound of the waves - specially while I'm in bed. My wife is fascinated by the cute turtles.
We have a difficult time leaving our condo - the view there is that mesmerizing. The kitchen is more than adequate, the bed is comfortable as are the couch and each chair. We will be back a 3rd time.

We loved this property! We could sit on the balcony forever and not get bored watching surfers and sea life. The sound of the waves hitting the rocky shore could be heard through the whole unit which was amazing. It was great to walk to the beach club restaurant next door (one of the best on the island) and not worry about parking. The little beach around the corner was perfect for snorkeling and easy to get to. It’s a pretty rocky beach so bring shoes but most beaches are on the island. We had a mix up with check in but reached out to Bob the owner and he was very quick to respond and get us settled. We hope to be back!

This property is in a great location. The condo itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Sometimes it was hard to leave the balcony, which feels like it’s right on the ocean. One morning I spent hours lounging out there watching sea turtles and surfers. This unit has air conditioning, which is a huge plus if you need to cool down to feel comfortable. AC isn’t always standard on Kauai.

The condo exceed our expectations! The views from the lanai are stunning. Beautiful sunrises off to the left, and sunsets of to the right. We saw several whales off in the distance, and turtles right in front of us! The snorkeling at Lawa'i beach next door is excellent. I saw several turtles there, as well!

This condo is simply incredible! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Kauai. Only category I questioned not giving 5-stars to was the accuracy of pictures, the pictures simply do not give this place justice. Everyone goes to and recommended The Beachhouse restaurant next door for sunsets, but we had the same view every night and the sunrise every morning from the Lanai. The stars at night were breathtaking on the Lanai as well. The place was clean, a great place to clean up and crash at after island adventures. Great location on the south shore area near great food and good for driving any direction. North shore is a little far away, but this place was so ideal and perfect for our week stay on the island.

We picked this property for the stunning view, and it coincidentally was perfectly located near several shops/restaurants/beaches. The condo was spotless and came furnished with a number of helpful items (sunscreen, beach chairs, a picnic cooler, etc..) - they thought of everything! Check-in was a breeze, and the community has a perfect view of the sunsets at night. We will be back!

This was our favorite place to stay during our honeymoon! The pictures are accurate but seeing the unit in person exceeded our expectations. It is clean, spacious, and has everything you could need - whether that's cooking dinner in the kitchen, grabbing beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach, or making a cup of coffee to sit out on the lanai.
Bob and Meredith were very quick to respond and were so welcoming and friendly leading up to and during our stay with all communications.
We would certainly stay here again!

Po’ipu Condo Review
The first word out of my mouth when we got through the door was, “Wow!” The entire south wall is an ocean view! Though the space is not huge (big enough and comfortable), the mirrors on the east and west walls make it feel so much larger and enhance the expansive view. As advertised, green sea turtles were in the water just off shore, so only a few yards away. The turtles were so fun to watch (for us), that it always took us longer to get out the door for a hike. The place is clean and has a higher-end feel to it. The dishwasher is very nice, but I found myself missing a countertop dish drain since I hand wash everything. Once, as I was washing a plate, I idly wondered what would happen if I dropped it, so I looked at the bottom and noticed it was Mikasa china (and dishwasher-safe). I think the living room furniture was comfortable, but I only sat on the edge of the ottoman a couple times since the chairs on the private balcony were calling. It was great to have a coffee grinder in the kitchen, but I didn’t see a French press. The drip machine worked well, though, and had plenty of coffee filters. The bed was very comfortable, but the ceiling fan in the bedroom wobbled a bit and made a very slight squeak that (when filtered through the sound of waves) gave me the odd impression that somebody had left their keys in the car with the driver’s door open while I was drifting off to sleep. My wife and I were trying to figure out the orientation of the condo online and wondered what was outside the bedroom window. Once there, we saw that it is a frosted privacy window and opens to the walkway leading to the various condos and over the parking lot. That said, we never heard anybody outside other than one car with a loud engine on the street. If anybody ever did walk by, the sound of the waves blocked them out. Again, the water is right outside. I deducted a star from the “communication with the property manager” section because I wasn’t sure if that referred to Vrbo or to Bob and Meredith. I got an email from the owners long before arriving that explained everything about getting in; however, Vrbo sent one just before arrival with the address on Koloa Rd in Lawai, HI. Luckily, the Koloa Rd location isn’t far from the actual location on Lawai Rd in Koloa, HI. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will look for this unit again next time we stay on the south shore of Kaua’i.

Great condo with everything you could want. Fully equipped just bring food and clothes. Turtles watching from you lanai. If you care, internet is slow. Don’t know if you could stream. But hey, you’re in Hawaii, who cares!! Great walks to be had and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Not much in grocery so stock up at Costco and Safeway (next to each other) before you a head to condo. Snorkeling beach next door with a Snorkel Rental right there. Wonderful owners to deal with. Highly recommend if you want to hear and see the surf.

Wow. Kuhio Shores 313. As you enter this luxurious welcoming condo the Hawaiian music, treats and vast pacific ocean are there to greet you. Much needed after a long air flight.
The condo is well decorated, has all the comforts of home and is conveniently located to the local sights. You can view sunrise, sunset, turtles and surfers all from the lanai! Being only 20-30 feet from the ocean. And, some of the island’s best snorkeling is in the water below.
The ocean can be viewed from every room. The bed is comfortable. Two tv’s (if you have time to watch). The full kitchen is a cook’s dream with all the necessary cooking available.
Our stay here was exciting, adventurous, inspirational and relaxing – so much to do and see.
The owners, Bob and Merideth, were great to work with. They advised us on everything from car rentals, places to shop, dine and sights to see. They made this one of our best vacations ever.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo on Kuhio Shores. The best was the views of the ocean from the lanai, watching the waves, the surfers and sometime the turtles. The condo was also very nice, and well equiped with just about everything you needed from kitchen utensils to snorkling gear, boogie board, beach towels and beach chairs.
The owners were also most helpful, flexible and responsive to all of our questions and requests.

Our annual stay at Kuhio Shores 313 was just right. Relaxed, entertaining, our happy place. Sunrise and sunset are always just right. Whales were active, the monk seals payed a visit. Surfers were fearless. All of this right outside the door.
Farmers market always a fun adventure and a great way to find wonderful foods & flowers.

We had a long delay arriving in Kauai but the moment we walked in, it took all that stress away. The sound of the ocean hits you upon opening that door and draws you to the balcony. So amazing. The bed is fabulous and those pillow!!!! We loved that the bedroom was open to see the ocean and hear it as we fell asleep. They have everything there for picnics, beach time, binos for turtle watching. Having coffee each morning watching the surfers and sunrise was truly memorable. We have been back a week and already making plans to go back to this place. Mahola!
