The rental did not indicate that the balcony would be fully occupied by a paint crew. We rented specifically for the balcony and couldnt utilize it. Photos attached, pretty dissapointing. This was after we were unable to get in our room. Access code didnt work, the issue wasnt fixed during our stay.Location was great.

From the moment we opened the door, we knew we had chosen well. The view is fantastic and made spending time at the condo an enhancement of our visit to Kauai. We spent our mornings and evenings watching the sea turtles cavorting in the water, and the waves crashing against the rocks. What a fantastic location. The unit was clean, well-kept, and perfectly appointed. I can't think of a thing we wished they'd provided; everything we didn't even know we'd want, was there. Heck, there was even an ukulele. The hosts clearly know what visitors want and need to make their stay a success. We felt so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you so much for making our visit to the south side so wonderful.

We had an incredible stay at this location! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the beach is just about 1.5 steps away. Poipu was our favorite spot for snorkeling, 1.5 mikes and renting gear from Boss Frogs (just around the condo) made it super easy. Enjoying breakfast from the balcony with those ocean views was unforgettable.To save a little money, we picked up some essentials at Costco—including their amazing coffee—and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. There were chairs for sitting outside to watch the most beautiful sunsets, and even an umbrella to take to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the condo provided shampoo and conditioner and way more stuff. For convenience, there’s also a Longs Drugs store nearby that has everything you could need at very reasonable prices.One tip: if you like to wash everything before you leave (like my girlfriend does), there’s a laundry area on the 3rd floor so you don’t have to run around town looking for detergent or change. We even left a few extras behind for the next guests to enjoy.Overall, we felt completely relaxed and refreshed—this place was the perfect reset button. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for providing such a fantastic place to stay!

The very best unit at Kuhio Shores. Plenty of room. Comfortable and being able to put your chairs out on the lawn to enjoy the scenery and sunsets was amazing! We have stayed at many of the upper units. Ground floor rocks! You see the ocean - and not through plexiglass! Every thing was perfect! This is the only unit we will stay in going forward. Jack was great! Very quick response to any questions. We highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed this property. The proximity to the beach, furnishings, amenities, A/C, cleanliness and ease of parking made this an awesome unit. Also, being super close to Old Koloa Town and a shopping center (in walking distance) gave us a few nearby things to do. We also enjoyed watching the surfers while just hanging on the lanai.The restaurant right next to the building seemed to host a few weddings. The music and dancing added a liveliness to the atmosphere during the afternoons/evenings. They were really good about ending the parties early enough so the noise wasn't a problem at night.Ron is a great host. We had some unexpected construction going on during our stay with scaffolding blocking the view. Ron was very understanding that the view was one of the selling points of this unit. Although the construction was out of his control, he made things right by contacting the building manager to adjust their schedule and also gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Instructions and communication with Ron were straightforward but detailed (we didn't really have any questions). Would definitely consider staying here again!

Excellent location to all the best beaches. You cannot beat the sunset and birds each evening. There are no surprises, the condo is exactly as described. I recommend HoloHolo Charters Nepali and Niihau coast tour. Departs at 6am and the drive to Port Allen is only 20 minutes. Checkout Backwoods for tubing down the old sugar cane water tunnels. About 25min drive from the condo. The Beach House restaurant next to the property is a must for a refreshing cocktail and crab cakes at sunset. I will be back to this condo for future island hops!!! This was the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. When you walk in you immediately feel like you are staying somewhere that is clean and well taken care of. It is very modern also. The property had everything you needed, kitchen supplies , bathroom supplies, and beach supplies. The views were breath taking. Ocean and plenty of greenery. When you wake up you are greeted by a beautiful sunrise from the bed. The location was perfect as well. You are very close to poipu beach and other shops. Baby beach is in walking distance. Denise was a sweetheart. Ive already suggested to everyone I know to stay at this condo if they ever come to Kauai! 10/10 recommend this!

Location! Location! Location! What an ideal spot!! Location is amazing! Wake and sleep to the ocean waves every day. It's next door to the Beach House restaurant and a small beach. Walking distance to The Shops at Kukuiula; lots of dining and shopping options. Less than a mile to Baby Beach; just over a mile to Poipu Shopping Village (also lots of dining & shopping options). The best stocked rental we've ever been in! From kitchen to bathroom to beach items. Not much room for groceries (two small shelves) but that's irrelevant compared to all the good stuff! The assistance from Garden Island Properties was great. Brenda was very helpful with answers. There was a minor problem with the closet safe and they had an on property assistance to the room in five minutes. Overall property is a bit old but it's very safe and very clean. And this unit is modern and up to date. Guests need to sign in to a book in the lobby upon arrival (arrival / departure date, car license plate) and that the parking pass is in the unit with the keys. There is no washer / dryer in the unit (washer / dryer on each floor near the elevators; also change machine and laundry supplies vending machine) and no pool. But, again, irrelevant compared with everything that's good! It was a heavenly vacation spot and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is a lovely unit; check-in instructions were straightforward and sent 48 hours ahead of time. The unit was 100% as pictured - great views, comfortable, clean, attractive, and fully stocked (and then some). Everything you could possibly need was provided (more than most rentals), and there were basic grocery items for your use (salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee packs, filters, etc.) I would highly recommend this rental and would happily rent from this owner again.

This place deserves 10 stars!!! One of our favorite places EVER! Corner unit with lots of windows for amazing views! This condo has everything you need and more! Waking up to breakfast on the lanai and watching surfers to watching the sunsets and surfers was so special and perfect every morning/night!! So many turtles playing in the surf right out side the condo…. I couldn’t stop watching them! Ohhh and the birds at sunset - incredible! We found ourselves wanting to get back to our condo every afternoon so we could enjoy it!!! Don’t look at any others condos…. Just book this one…. Yes it’s a little more expensive but WORTH every penny…. To walk right out your door to this piece of paradise heaven!!

We had a wonderful week-long stay at this Kauai property! The location is absolutely stunning—right on the edge of the ocean with sweeping views of both the water and the mountains. We especially loved watching the sunrise from the lanai, and while sunsets were visible from the opposite side of the condo, it was nice that both could be enjoyed within such a short distance of each other.The home itself was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to beach gear. It was also close to several great beaches, making it easy to explore during the day and return to a relaxing home base in the evening.Our host was wonderful—welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay.If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with unbeatable views and all the comforts of home, this is the perfect place. We had an incredible 5-night stay in Kōloa! The views were absolutely epic, and the home was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed—beach chairs, towels, and more. We loved having lunch while watching sea turtles right from the property, and the community was so welcoming and kind.The memory foam bed deserves a special mention—it was hands down the best sleep I’ve ever had on vacation. That alone made it feel like a true retreat!The location couldn’t be better: great local surf, and just about a mile away in Poipu we ended our days with breathtaking sunsets and sea turtles resting on the beach. Truly unforgettable.Jane was an amazing host—so well-prepared that we didn’t need a thing during our stay. She made it easy to simply relax and enjoy a well-deserved vacation. Great location. The balcony is right on a small bay and you can feel like you’re on vacation and not even want to leave the balcony because it is so beautiful. Could easily walk to the Y Beach for a morning snorkel. Is adjacent to a very nice restaurant. Just in front of the property, you can sit and watch surfers for as long as you like. The condominium itself is just as pictured very well appointed.

The view from this property is unmatched. Truly amazing. However the furniture represented in the pictures, specifically outside, is not what is currently there. We had one wood chaise lounge with no cushion (making it unusable) and four solid wood chairs that were extremely uncomfortable with no back cushions and ill-fitting seat cushions. These were likely chosen for durability with the sea air but were extremely uncomfortable. We opted to just use the Tommy Bahama chairs that came with the unit to sit outside instead. The unit is very well stocked with anything you might need, from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. The couch in the unit has also been updated from the pictures and is really awkward to sit on (hard to explain how; you’d just have to experience it). Overall, a good unit. Pictures should be updated to accurately reflect what is currently there, and I would recommend new outdoor furniture or at least invest in cushions for comfort (and for the chaise lounge to be usable).
