We have stayed at several of the Kuhio Shores condos over the years. It is a well maintained building with a fantastic location right on the ocean and views of the sea from every condo. 205 was well maintained, very clean, well stocked and comfortable. I would happily stay there again.

This delightfully decorated condo is incredibly well-equipped and the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. Kitchenware was plentiful (even though we only made breakfasts) and bathrooms had plenty of towels and shelf space. Chris was super responsive and friendly. This alone warrants top marks, without counting the jawdroppingly stunning view!

The condo is very dated from top to bottom. The silverware, plates, appliances, need to be updated. The place needs a remodel after so many years. A bit disappointing as we have stayed in other units at Kuhio shores. Great location, of course but for 500/night I would rather stay in a nice condo and go to the beach.

Ron was an absolute fabulous host. He was attentive to all my questions and answered them within minutes. We requested to leave our luggage before check in being that we had a soft top jeep and were afraid of our car getting broken into. He didn’t hesitate at all. He accommodated us prior to check in time. We truly appreciated that. The condo and its views are breathtaking. My family and I enjoyed every single day there. You are literally steps away from the ocean. We saw whales, turtles, surfers and chickens every day. It was truly incredible. The condo itself is completely renovated and spotless. You have everything you need. The kitchen was also stocked to cook daily meals. We had absolutely zero issues. If I could give Rons place 100 stars I would. Thank you Ron!! We shall be back!

From the very beginning, the host’s communication was outstanding—friendly, prompt, and incredibly helpful, which made everything seamless and stress-free. The condo itself was hands down the best stocked and most thoughtfully provisioned rental we’ve ever experienced. Every little detail was covered, making it truly feel like a home away from home.What really made this place unforgettable was the location—right on the beach. Being able to step onto the balcony and watch whales breaching and turtles swimming by was pure magic and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The condo is also perfectly situated for exploring the southern part of Kauai, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and adventures all around. Aloha Everyone! Don't miss this corner condo at Kuhio Shores! It's the closest you can ever stay to the ocean in Kauai. With the 180-degree views of the water, you feel like you're staying on a boathouse :)In addition to feeling the ocean, this luminous condo has views of the sunrise from its living room, and sunset from its lanai. The kitchen is well equipped and upgraded with every need of a guest is thought of. The king size bed is very comfortable with an upgraded bathroom and shower.Most importantly, the host Jennifer is amazing, very caring and attentive. She was always quick to reply when we had a question, and made sure that every thing during our stay was taken care of.We're very happy that we've found "the place" to return to, whenever we visit Kauai. It was nearly perfect. The fabric of the screen door had a big tear that let gnats in, the screen door was very difficult to open, and the sliding door did not close fully. Road noise is quite noticeable, but not under anyone’s control. Snorkeling at Lawai Beach was amazing. It was a great stay, the unit was very clean and the host provided good amenities.

The condo is as described. The AC was appreciated in the bedroom and cooled off nicely. We made good use of the snorkeling items in the closet. Before you buy a cooler the condo has a small and larger one to use along with chairs and umbrellas. It was relaxing to sit on the lanai and watch the turtles poke their heads up. Many used the cove to snorkel and scuba dive. It a perfect location to view the sunset just around the corner of the building. Thanks for a great stay

What a comfortable and well-equipped condo! Perfect for the two of us and we made the most of it! We spent most of our time there on the balcony, amazed at the spectacular views both sunrise and sunset. And whale watching was superb every day. Easy access to beaches, coastal walks and restaurants. The kitchen and dining made it easy to stay in for meals. A genuinely nice place to stay in south Kauai!

The apartment was a corner apartment, so had amazing sunset views both from the balcony as well as from the living room. Location is great - walking distance to an outdoor mall, coffee shops and to amazing sunrise views. Short drive to the Poipu beach as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Apartment provided beach chairs, umbrella as well as snorkeling gear, although we did not use the latter. Property has plenty of parking.Overall, our family of three adults and a 17-year old had an amazing time at the property. Would highly recommend this particular apartment (Kuhio Shores 418).

Unit was clean and as described. Lovely views, quiet area and perfect for a relaxing trip. Unit is well appointed and relaxing on 4th floor balcony provided amazing sunrise & sunset views. No direct beach access as it is on the rocks. Baby beach is very easy 3-5 minute walk. The location is quiet and ideal, away from people, buildings and businesses of Poipu beach. There is a shopping center very close. Only recommendation would be more comfortable and relaxing balcony furniture.

We've stayed at Kuhio Shores before, but in a different unit. This one was very outdated and rundown. The furniture was old and cheap, fridge was rusted, cinderblock walls, and strange arrangement of furniture in the living area (not as pictured in the listing photos). To be honest, it was disappointing but we tried to make the most of it. The view was fantastic and the location was perfect. Things to check out in the area: Kenji Burger (delicious!), Uncle's for dessert (get the Japanese honey toast), Napali Coast sunset tour with Captain Andy's, Beach House, Eating House 1849 (get the misoyaki butterfish), Shipwreck Beach, Kekaha Beach Park (look out for monk seals!), Spouting Horn, and of course Waimea Canyon

We had a comfortable and relaxing experience staying in Ron's condo. Direct access to the water and tide pools, convenient access to the Beach House restaurant and baby beach next door. Slept very well in the comfortable beds. Made the most of watching the sunset every evening and even doing yoga in the mornings on the lanai! Ron was very responsive when we needed.
