We had a fabulous week here! Nancy was a wonderful host, and everything was set up perfectly for us. The location is wonderful, right next to Beach House with beautiful sunset views and a great snorkeling beach. Loved watching the sunrise come up off the balcony every morning! This condo is in a wonderful location as it is right on the beach and very close to several must see places on the south side of the island. Nancy was excellent and kept in touch from booking until end of stay. She even gave suggestions on things to do. Everything needed was available within the room. Would definitely recommend and stay again the the future.

The view from the lanai was spectacular. We really enjoyed listening to the sound of the ocean outside and inside this well maintained condo. The owners are wonderful to work with and are more than accommodating. The microwave happened to “die” during our stay. We sent an email to inform the owners and they made sure we had a new one the next afternoon! We highly recommend this condo for a wonderful stay.

My wife and I celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary staying at Kuhio Shores 402. We have stayed here before on other occasions. The views are accurate based on the photos, but absolutely terrific in person. The condo had everything my wife and I needed...and then some. It is within walking distance to the shops at Kukui'ula and within 20 minutes driving time to Salt Pond Beach (our favorite beach in Kauai). During our two week stay, we did not need to AC at all...the trade winds were breezy and cool. Doug and Nancy, owners, are very easy to work with and are responsive to any questions/issues. I highly recommend this condo. My wife and I always consider it in our future Kauai travel plans.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. Check-in was easy, owner was very responsive. Lots of board games and guidebooks available to use. Close to shopping and restaurants. Great view form the patio!

Fabulous location with amazing views - we saw turtles in the bay. And don't overlook the tiny La'wai beach in front of the Beach House restaurant. Not as "flashy" as Poipu, but great snorkeling. And the unit was amazing, as were the hosts. If I were to ever host a vacation rental, this is how I'd do it! From an intro phone call after booking to the way that every switch was labeled, and clear instructions were provided for every amenity - took all the guesswork out of everything! Loved it! We would definitely consider this location again for a return trip - which will surely happen!

Kuhio Shores 402 was a comfortable well appointed condo with nice amenities and a great view. We enjoyed the beaches nearby and appreciated having use of beach chairs and towels. The kitchen had everything to meet our needs. We had a great time there!

We had a great start to our honeymoon here! Stunning views for a morning coffee, great spot for access to all the amazing things to do on the south end of the island and super comfortable inside with all the little amenities to enjoy! Great location, great condo, great ocean view and has all the amenities you'll need for the stay. We could even see the sea turtles every afternoon between 4 and 5 from the balcony.
Owner was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions and responded quickly. Great place to stay for an individual or couple!

This is a fantastic property. The Condo features wonderful views of the ocean and mountains. It is clean and is equipped with anything you need. The tide wind flows through the condo and there is no need to run the air conditioner. We loved it here!!!

Loved the water views and hearing the sound of the ocean and experiencing the island lifestyle. Perfect, upscale decor for the setting.
We enjoyed each living area, except the bathroom seemed pretty warm and stuffy.
The fruit flies were a nuisance and seemed ever present. Not much to be done, however.

Top floor of ocean front building with very comfortable furnishings. All just as described. Love hearing the waves at night. No need for AC due to good cross ventilation set up. Hope to be back to Kauai again and we would stay here. Mahalo Nancy and Doug!

We really enjoyed our 5 nights at this rental property. Nancy was the most responsive VRBO host we've worked with over the years, and all communications were timely and 100% accurate. The rental unit is beautiful, and was furnished with everything we needed for our stay - and stuff we didn't need but appreciated! (Small cooler, beach chairs!). We also appreciated the wide range of channels - easily 3 times the number of choices we found at a fancy resort where we stayed for one night. We hope to return to 402 on another trip to Kauai!

A wonderful location in Poipu with an amazing top floor view. Peaceful view on a quiet cove and also right around the other side of the property got to watch top quality surfing and some amazing weddings (without being bothered by any of the noise). After a long day on the beach it was wonderful to return to the quiet oasis. Everything we needed was provided.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at this property. The owners went beyond superb in all our interactions with them. The location is ideal with excellent swimming/snorkeling just outside the building and frequent turtle sightings from both in and out of the water. An excellent restaurant next door is often selected as a wedding venue due to this scenic location with it's spectacular sunsets. The unit is a quiet top floor location with a full wall vista of beautiful sun rises, bay, & ocean. The unit is well appointed in all aspects. A generous assortment of comfortable furniture and dining ware makes it a natural choice to entertain other friends staying nearby. We have no hesitation giving this unit a 5 star review and our highest recommendation.

We are so glad that we chose this condo! It's conveniently located with a great view of the cove. We watched the turtles everyday from the terrace. Walking distance to a couple of nice little beaches and a short drive to Poipu Beach Park. Bed and furnishings were very comfortable and the condo was EXTREMELY well stocked, even including spices! There were a couple of beach chairs and towels and a little cooler for outings and just about everything you could possibly need. Well situated to take advantage of the ocean breezes and nice view. We highly recommend this one!

We have really enjoyed our stay in 402! We liked that there was an outdoor stairway that leads to the door. The apartment was stocked with everything that we needed. Binoculars, we did not find. However, we watched whales and turtles from the balcony every morning. Great vacation!

We loved our stay at Kuhio shores! The location is fantastic. You are close to multiple beaches which makes it easy to explore based on the weather or what you are looking to do that day. We enjoyed the condo and it’s amenities easy to cook in if your choose. We took trips to Waimea and North Shore from the condo. Both were easy to do in a day and be back for sunset. We will definitely be visiting again!
