This condo was perfect for our family of four! It was pristine, had plenty of space for all of us, and furnished nicely. The king bed and queen trundle both had very comfortable mattresses. The condo had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. The only thing that would make it better is if it were walking distance to the beaches that we preferred (Poipu, Kiahuna) but we'd gladly make a 3 minute drive for the comfort of this condo again.

It also took me a few days to realize that I arranged for two units for my children and there families at Christmas 12 years ago.

This place is spacious, clean, and as described. No ocean views from this place but we did not mind that and we really liked that it is a quiet, pretty nice place and that its location is perfect: steps away from shops and restaurants, 5 minutes from the Poipu beach, short trip to the stunningly beautiful Waimea Canyon, short trip to the airport. Overall, a very comfortable, spacious, pleasant place to stay.

The photos in the advertisement are significantly misleading. The condo is very dark and the back patio area is dark and people walk by. When we first arrived we smelled a very strong odor of mildew/dampness and the carpet and couch felt damp. Bedroom windows are just wooden slats so there is very little sound proofing, and if you want any natural light you have to also have the air/noise come in. Bathroom fan goes on when you walk in and shuts off randomly and you can’t turn it on manually when showering or doing laundry. Kitchen is well stocked but no coffee provided as advertised. Some of the bowls were stuck together and when we got them apart found food residue was the cause. Cobwebs in corners of bedroom and other areas. Stained carpet. Mildew in shower. Pool and jacuzzi were not maintained.

If your travel expectations are low, you might feel this is a quaint unit. But if you have higher expectations, you will likely be disappointed.
1. Lodgers Upstairs- The property description does not say there are rooms above for other lodgers. The noise above us was loud with their TV, walking and banging furniture.
2. Faulty Refrigerator - The refrigerator was too cold. We complained and the agent told us that the temperature was set correctly and could not be adjusted. The next morning all our produce was frozen even the cottage cheese. Temperature settings possibly were broken. Also, the seal around the inside of the fridge door kept falling off whenever we opened the door.
3. Cookware- The dishes were dingy and old. The pans had deep scratches in the Teflon making them unhealthy to use. Some of the dishes were not even clean from the previous guests. Only one cereal bowl and no serving dishes. And no dishwasher.
4. Broken Disposal-. A technician came and said some parts were needed but it would take three days to get them, the duration of our stay.
5. Dirty Towels - The face cloths were dirty. We immediately asked for new ones, which were cleaner and white in comparison to the dirty ones.
Overall, this should not have a 9.6 rating. Had we known all of these things, we definitely would not have stayed here. We have visited Poipu over the last twenty-five years and know that there are many other properties to consider.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We do wish the AC in the main room worked a little better since it was pretty warm and humid. They did have 2 tower fans we used which did make it comfortable though. It would have been nice to also have a TV in the bedroom, but not a big deal. I do recommend this place and would return again.

Only one item, the fan and light in the bedroom would start up at different times, with light coming on sometimes in the middle of the night.:) Scary, maybe because of being there during Halloween. We’ve always stayed near Princeville, but this trip we wanted to try being more centrally located and looked for a stay near Poipu. We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay in Koloa, which is just a great little town! The condo is centrally located, with some restaurants and stores within a block. It was clean, well-appointed, and had a cozy lanai with ample privacy. Looking forward to our next stay- thank you!

We love our stay in Poipu and had an excellent time staying in the VRBO. Our hosts went above and beyond with communication, suggestions, and comfort. We liked having AC throughout the unit because we had an infant and enjoyed the king size bed. Only one downfall was the neighbors above us were loud and aggressively stomping throughout the night, but other than that we had a blast! The condo was the perfect location and we loved the pool as well! Thanks again!

Evie is a gem, lovely lady. The property itself is beautiful. We did not rent a car but were able to walk or take a bus to anywhere we wanted to go. The grounds are lush and the pool is really nice. We were very impressed with the unit itself. Super spacious, everything, literally everything, we needed was there. The rooms are large, the furnishings were beautiful and for the first time on a vacation I can say the bed was actually very comfortable. We are already planning our next trip and Ed and Sharon’s will be our first choice!
