everynight folks gather at the beach, with drink in hand, to celebrate another sunset. Sometimes, if the conditions are right you can see the mysterious green flash. Close to the spouting horn, almost walkable and also close the botanical garden. Try the dinner tour. Unit kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, etc the owner has provide many beach aids.

This condo was in a great location and has beautiful views. The picture does show a table on the balcony, but there was no furniture on balcony for our visit. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were working on the water so we had no water for over 5 hours. If we would have known, we would have moved things around. I honestly think it was just an oversight of communication, but really put a damper on our first night. I think it’s important to note that there is no AC and you can’t leave the windows/doors open when you leave so coming back it can be a little stuffy. But overall, this was a great place to enjoy Kauai.

The location was perfect! Across the street from the ocean and the fabulous restaurant, The Beach House. Ocean view. Close to shopping and many south shore attractions. The unit was well appointed. (Would have liked a bath mat and more than one washcloth.)Easy and close parking.We are planning to return.

Overall the condo was pretty much as advertised on the listing. The location was great and central to everything on the island. The only minor issue was around parking. We had to park in the garage the first night and all of the parking spots designated for the Prince Kuhio condos in the garage were full. We were able to talk to the guy monitoring the parking garage and he let us park in a spot which was reserved for the condo complex next door. We were able to get a parking spot in the garage or the front parking lot the remainder of the stay. Only other minor complaint was that the outside deck was pretty much unusable since it was too small to put a chair or table for sitting. It would be nice if it was a few feet deeper to allow sitting outside similar to the units below it or further down the row. The sitting room inside the unit was nice though and we were able to open the door to the deck when sitting there.

This condo is absolutely lovely! The unit is beautifully decorated with very high quality finishes throughout. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The owner really put in the effort to anticipate your needs and have everything on hand. The location is great and the grounds are very beautiful with loads of tropical plants and flowers everywhere. The pool is even nice too! Overall a friendly and safe area to stay in Kauai. It is located near Poipu beach which was a very nice place to relax on the beach and had surprisingly good snorkeling! If you are looking and this unit happens to have availability, book it! You won’t be disappointed.We couldn’t have been happier!

We really enjoyed this condo with very friendly local residents and a clean small swimming pool. The unit was recently remodeled and is exceptionally nice. The kitchen is well stocked and we made a couple of meals.The condo is opposite Lawai Beach which is small and fun. It is an easy walk to the small mall with food and clothing. It is in the quieter part of town and very close to the wonderful Allerton Botanical Gardens and the Spouting Horn viewpoint.Parking can be a bit tight due to the small number of spaces. We were on foot and mostly enjoyed the experience although some of the roads do not have sidewalks which meant walking at night was a bit more challenging.Overall, the listing is accurate and the condo is lovely.

The studio condo was very nice. It was great to be able to walk a short distance to view the sunsets. The location was great to be close to the shops and restaurants.We never could get used to hearing the roosters crowing so early in the morning!

There were some great things about this property…plenty of bath/beach towels and kitchen supplies. The beach chairs were nice and clean to use along with a couple coolers. The small lanai provide nice view and cool breeze. Lots of small kitchen appliances and fans. This property has old-school vibes. Keys for access must be picked up and dropped off in Lihue, which is near the airport. Be ready to bring coffee (filters provided) and bath/body soaps. Short drives to great local coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and beaches nearby. Traffic could be a little loud at certain times and parking was tricky but nice location.

Beautiful location, able to walk to several beaches and attractions. Parking was a little tight. I didn’t realize the property didn’t have air conditioning but after all the windows and doors were open and fans on, it wasn’t noticeable. It was lovely listening to the ocean at night! The condo is in a good location with access to a small beach across the street and its a short drive from Poipu beach. The pool and gardens are lovely. We ate all our meals on the small lanai, which has a great view of the ocean. We were expecting to have a dishwasher as it was listed in the amenities, however, when we arrived, we noted that there was none. This was pointed out to the owner, along with some other issues we found. She acted surprised and said there never was one, later we checked and magically it was gone from the listing. We also found the unit has a closet but NO dresser for clothes. For the 3 weeks we stayed, we had to live partly out of our suitcase and what we couldn't hang, pile on the kitchen table. The listing also states a capacity for 4, but there is only 1 loveseat in the living area and 2 chairs for the kitchen table and 2 chairs on the Lanai. We were also told there were beach chairs and an umbrella. There were actually 2 umbrellas, which were broken and there was 1 old beach chair. We were happy to find the condo had a small ac unit and a rotating fan. These provided enough white noise, since this unit is at the top of the stairwell and was quite noisy. The owner wasn't easy or friendly to deal with. She said she could refund our money and we could look elsewhere, which wasn't practical, but she did eventually send over a lovely housekeeper to give us dish towels to dry our dishes and beach towels. None of the other issues were addressed.

We were tired when we arrived and the space seemed a bit smaller than the photos, kitchen area especially. We were there for 10 days and needed to get organized and utilize all available space. Once we did some shuffling of things, we felt more comfortable. Tired and wanting a glass of wine, my husband went to open my bottle and the corkscrew broke. Longs Drug is 1/2 mile away, so I drove over and bought one. The next morning I went to make toast and only one side of the toaster works. No big deal, at the end of the day, we were happy and enjoyed our room and lanai.

We stayed three nights at end of January. The location was ideal for seeing the sites in the south coast and exploring the towns. We ate two nights at Savage shrimp —easy to walk to— and watched the sun go down at the little beach across from the condo. Loved all the extras Paul provides!

The unit and property was GREAT! Loved the location with walking distance to the beaches, running paths and restaurants! The unit was pristine as far as clean and had all the amenities. But the property management company was not helpful at all. First when I called to ask questions the lady was very condescending and didn't answer my questions, and kept referring to "the email we sent" instead of just answering the questions during my call. Also in this day and age of key pads/electronic entry, we had to physically go out of our way to pick up the keys at the property management office 30 minutes away, to then find a key pad right next to the door for the unit when we got to the property. We had to use a key pad to pick up the keys at the office as well. Very inconvenient when you are going different directions. Family staying at the same resort but different unit had key pads and very easy check in. I would say because of the property managements poor customer service I would consider staying elsewhere. Sad because it's a great property, but really difficult to work with them. Took pictures even to show the key pads but not an option with the review.

The Prince Kuhio condo was an ideal place to stay! It was in the perfect location, so close to shops and literal walking distance to the Beach House restaurant, and poipu beach was a short drive away. The condo was pretty clean, we did notice that the floors didnt reel like they were swept or mopped so we found ourselves wearing shoes around the room the whole time. We also found it odd that the hand soaps and shower soaps were either watered down or had some other soaps in it other than what was labelled on the bottle. Was it a deal breaker, No, but just something we noticed that was off.Our biggest issue was the parking. If you dont find parking in the front entrance of the complex, and have to go around to the parking garage, the spaces are EXTREMELY tiny! People could barely fit their cars in between the lines. And if there was an open spot, we physically couldnt fit in between two cars because of how small the stalls were. We ended up having to park somewhere else that wasnt listed in the instructions but thankfully our car wasnt towed or anything. But for other people looking to stay, just BEWARE of this parking situation. Anything bigger than a sedan will give you lots of trouble parking in the garage.

This studio was everything we needed and more for our 10 days in Kauai. Every detail was so thoughtful and very clean. The chickens only woke us up the first night, then we used the fan on the AC unit and didn't have a problem the rest of our stay. I can't wait to come back!! The view from the lanai is unbeatable.

Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely perfect! The condominium was super cute, beautifully updated, and incredibly clean. The entire facility was well-maintained, and its location couldn’t have been better. We felt completely safe and secure throughout our stay, which gave us so much peace of mind.The sunset view right across the street at the beach was hands down the best we’ve seen in the Poipu area. Watching the vibrant colors dance across the horizon each evening was a highlight of our trip and something we’ll never forget.What really made this rental stand out, though, was how kind and accommodating the owner and property manager were. When we thought our flight home might be canceled, they were incredibly communicative and reassured us that they’d do everything they could to help us if we needed to stay longer. We were delighted to find our stay was right across from the beach. It was super clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen had all the implements needed and more. We encountered no difficulties and instructions were very easy to follow so we did not need to contact the host. Grounds of the facility are beautiful and parking was nearby. It is close to restaurants and stores. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the location-we walked a block, rented snorkel gear, and 10 steps later were seeing colorful fish! Also, walked 10-ish minutes to shops and restaurants each night. Appreciated having boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella when we went to Poi’pu beach, and having a full kitchen, comfortable bed and peaceful gardens out the window when we returned. This property was even better than the pictures. The location was great as well directly across from a beach with a snorkel shop. Julie sent a letter to me prior to our arrival and left a letter with instructions on check out and other details. It did my old soul good to have a handwritten thoughtful letter. It felt like she really cared that we had a great time. The only downfall was the chickens roosted in the tree outside our room and the roosters would crow anywhere from 0330-0430 in the am. If you are used to chickens its not a big deal but we were not. Granted we were already up since we had gone back in time zones but something to think about if you are going to stay here. I loved the fresh flowers she left for us and the attention to detail. This property overall qas fantastic. Would stay here again
