Kauai is my favorite island! This was my first stay at Prince Kuhio and it won't be my last. PK 206 was just what I needed for the week! It is a very cozy condo with lovely trade winds blowing through. The bed was amazing and comfy! Best night of sleep in a long time. The AC provided the needed cooling off for those of us from the PNW not used to the high humidity. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your space with others!!The gardens are absolutely beautiful!! I loved walking through them every day. The pool was also really lovely. I was worried it would be cold because it is not heated, but the water was perfect after a long day of exploring. I used the great bbq a couple of times. Located right next to one of the best snorkel spots on the island and within walking distance to shops and restaraunts. PK 206 can't be beat for it's affordability and location.

Prince Kuhio 213 has everything one needs to enjoy Kauai. The kitchen is well stocked, AC is nice at night for comfortable sleep and furniture is comfortable. There is a nice breeze that blows through the condo making it very comfortable during the day without AC. There is a nice view of Prince Kuhio Park and the ocean from the lanai. The only negative from my point of view is uncomfortable chairs on the lanai. It was difficult to sit on the lanai for long periods because of the chairs.

We had a great stay at Prince Kuhio Condominiums! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great, which made a big difference. The location and view were fantastic, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. My only tiny suggestion would be to make the step into the shower a few inches higher for convenience… wink, wink. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again!

We loved this home, especially the ocean views from the bedroom and lanai, as well as the convenient access to destinations like Poipu Beach, Spouting Horn, and downtown Koloa. The bed, sofa, and other furniture were all very comfortable. The unit had air conditioning that was relatively quiet while still cooling the room, and even when we weren’t using the A/C, the ceiling fans kept the temperature manageable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The TV had good picture quality and audio. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to messages and questions.

A lovely place to stay convenient to shopping, beaches, and other fun. The roosters were noisy, but we got used to it after the first night. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs! The condo is well stocked with beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.) and the kitchen is good sized and also well appointed. Enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely stay there again.

We had the best experience with this rental. It was very well stocked for all of our needs. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were also impressed with the quantity of linens in the property (including beach towels). They also have very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to use. I was a little worried about parking upon arrival, until we found the covered garage next door. It was just as close as the parking lot in the condo and it felt like very secure parking as there were always security guards monitoring the property. The location was excellent! We had the best experience snorkeling at Lawa'i Beach right across the street. We saw six sea turtles at once and it was a truly magical experience. We also enjoyed walking across the street to the Beach House Restaurant for dinner and we also just walked across to see the sunset. The location was very convenient location to get to our booked excursions, to our visit to Waimea Canyon, and to the other restaurants in the Poipu area. Overall, I thought the condo was better than the pictures showed and we would definitely stay here again! It was such an enjoyable stay and we would recommend it to anyone.

What a lovely place to stay! It is not new and "fancy", but clean and comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, including beach chairs, towels, a cooler and ice packs. Plenty of fresh towels, toilet paper, paper towels and even detergent for the on site laundry room. The pool and grounds are lovely and it is very quiet (except for the morning roosters!) The view from the balcony is amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location with lots of beaches, restaurants, and shops nearby (within a 5 minute drive). The studio had a great balcony with a view of the ocean where we enjoyed meals looking at the view. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook which was nice to save money on meals. We also enjoyed the beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella which made the beach experience better. The pool was also beautiful and the condos are surrounded by lots of trees giving it a fun Kauai feel.

Property was very clean. Interior seemed dated but location was excellent. No air conditioning however it's not needed as there is a constant cross breeze from the ocean and there are ceiling fans. The rooster will wake you early so be sure to bring earplugs. The parking lot is difficult to get out of but it's not necessary as there is free garage parking right next to property. Property is directly across the street from the beach. You have a lovely view of the ocean from the condo. Kitchen was well equipt with necessary items. Did not need to contact owner as there were good instructions however there was a phone number left if there was a need.

The place was outdated, but had everything you need. There was a dog urine smell by the left side of the bed and by the loveseat. I am not sure if pets were there in the past, but it’s a strong smell. Also, even though you pay for the cleaning, you’re asked to take out the trash to the outside bins by the back parking lot, which we did. The host was responsive and very on top of his listing. I’d recommend this property if you want to stay near Poi’pu.

Love having coolers, extra beach towels, comfy bed, and a kitchen that allowed for all culinary needs. Great location for beaches, shopping, and access to all Poipu and Kauai have to offer. Would highly recommend to others.

Overall, this was an okay property and was enough space for two. It’s about the size of a hotel room with an attached kitchenette (for reference). The positives:- Close beach access for multiple beaches - Ocean view from the patio- Quick drive to multiple shopping areas- Central location to explore the South and East sides of the island - The host is excellent at communication - The host went out of their way to drop off or order some missing necessities - The pool area is very nice - The grounds are well maintained and feature beautiful plants Areas for improvement: - It was clean, but surface level. Under furniture was pretty dirty (some dead bugs, dust, etc.), dust/cobwebs on ceiling. - The shower was on the smaller side, dated, and needs a good deep cleaning on the walls and cracks/corners. The water temp fluctuated a lot even when not messing with the knobs. The host did have a sign above the shower knobs to turn cold on first then adjust the hot side. - The bed is a hard spring mattress. A mattress topper could have made it a bit comfier. - Some fresh paint and minor updates could really make this unit stand out.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The condo was clean, conveniently located, ac worked fabulous and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The pool is great and the unit came with different beach supplies including a cooler which was much appreciated. We had no problem parking. We could have used 2 more bath towels and 2 hand towels and we thought the cleaning fee was high for the size of the unit but other than that we were happy with our stay.

The 2nd floor room was right by the main road with lots of traffic noise. Since no air conditioning we had to leave windows open so traffic noise and Roosters crowing started around 2:30am made a restful night difficult.We slept well 5 out of 10 nights.The shower has a high 14” step up to get in and shower is slick making stepping out challenging for us we are 70 years old.Location is good, pool is good landscaping is very nice. Parking is tight.We would not stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here and would happily come back again.
The condo is extremely well equipped with everything you might need, including plenty of towels, laundry detergent, and even snorkeling gear. The A/C is a bit loud, but it works very well and kept the unit comfortable throughout our stay.
The property is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and the swimming pool is fantastic. The location is excellent, within walking distance of a great snorkeling beach and only about a 5-minute drive from Poipu Beach. 40 mins to Waimea canyon and few other scenic spots.
There are also food trucks and a supermarket nearby, making it easy to grab meals and supplies without going far.
One thing to note: there are chickens and roosters on the property, so don’t be surprised if you’re woken up early in the morning. That’s not really the property’s fault though, this is Kauai, often nicknamed the “Chicken Island” of Hawaii, and free-roaming chickens are part of the deal.
Overall, this was a great place to stay in Kauai, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This property is FANTASTIC! it's just what we needed. A perfect place to relax, swim, and lounge.This unit is at the end of the building so you get a great cross breeze because it's got windows all around! We never have to use the AC because of the trade winds. You do not need an alarm clock here...there's lots of roosters which we love! The garden area is a perfect place to stroll as well Aloha

The location is directly across the road from the ocean - you can see it from the patio - and it is convenient to all activities and beaches on the southern coast. We would definitely return!

You have to work hard to find even a bit to pick with this unit. The kitchen had more than we needed, including a Blendtec that made daiquiris a cinch! Plenty of little touches, like extra garbage bags and dish detergent so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves rather than remembering everything little thing at the grocery store.There were towels for every occasion - more than two could use in two weeks. On the rare occasions that we wanted the A/C rather than the breeze, the whole unit cooled down quickly and the units were whisper quiet. The sounds of the parakeets, roosters and waves were ever present.Larger guests might have trouble with the close quarters in the shower, and next season the Tommy Bahama beach gear will probably need a refresh.

However, we were a little disappointed that the beach was so narrow and bordered a busy road. But there were other sensational beaches within a short drive. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
