It was very nice & clean! Everything is updated. The kitchen has Everything you need to cook a few meals there. Also, i loved that there was 2 Tommy Bahama chairs, a cooler & radio! One of the dressers was full of books & a few games. The bathroom was updated and very nice, only complaint was that the shower was a bit small. Im only 5'2" and 120 lbs and had a hard time getting completely clean. The shower head is low so your all over that back wall to get the most out of the water. The bed was perfect for my husband! For me it was a bit hard. But could of been worse! I just love a nice soft bed. It was very convenient having a shopping center so close! With food & shopping! Also the shuttle wasnt a far walk from there. The best beach to walk to was a mile & a half away. But sooooooo worth it!! No lava rocks and the waves were so much fun! That had to be the best beach we went to on the island! I forgot the name of the beach... but the restaurant called Lavas was right on it! And we ate there a lot! Great food! And well priced! Our favorite was the pineapple sriracha chicken strips! 🙌 so good! They also have no problem with you showing up & eating in you swimsuit! It was hard to find a beach with a restaurant or some sort of food close by. So i REALLY suggest going here! We ended up renting a car for the weekend to see the rest of the island, bc the shuttle doesn't run on Sunday's. That was totally worth it! Thank you for everything! We'll be back!

My wife and I booked this property as home base during our honeymoon in Kauai. The location is incredible and property was perfect. It is a small studio with 1 bath and a lanai. I could see it being small for a family of 4 but it was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, WiFi was accessible and there were clean towels. The rental also included beach chairs, beach umbrella and 2 coolers. These little extras made our trip so much more convenient. The parking in the lot is a little tight; however, there is a parking garage with an entire floor dedicated to the condo. It was perfect. Shaunna & Duke are great to work with and the booking and check in were a breeze. There is a pool to use, beautiful landscaping and a convenient location to dispose of any trash. We cannot say enough positives about our experience. If we ever make our way back to Kauai, we will certainly look to book here again.

Perfect for my wife and me. Fantastic location for coming and going for all our exploring! The VRBO property was incredible in every way, we love to cook and had a kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed! A beautiful view of the ocean from our living room, a very short walk to a beautiful beach and snorkeling, and across the street from our new favorite fine dining restaurant, The Beach House! Could not be happier with our choice of accommodations! And, excellent communication and help from the owners!

Charming and perfect. I really loved it. There was a big storm with flooding during our stay and though it caused difficulties on the island it was spectacular to watch from the living room. The park next door flooded and it was interesting to see the chickens and egrets adapt to the changing conditions. It was nice to be able to walk to shops and beaches.

We had a lovely time here. Unfortunately, there was a ridiculous rain storm that flooded the basement and the hot water heater. We did not have hot water the last three days. Other than that, our stay was great and the house was well furnished with beach equipment including chairs, coolers and umbrellas. I especially liked all of the containers to store food. The location is unbelievable.

Enjoyed the "homey" comfort of the unit. Appreciated all the amenities esp the complete kitchen! Have to say tho that the bed pillows probably need to be replaced soon. Also in describing the unit online, it would be helpful if it would've mentioned that it was an upper level unit, particularly for us seniors with some mobility issues.

The only downside was a loud whistle around the entry door when it was windy, but it wasnt enough to change my rating. Paul was very responsive and gave excellent directions for getting there. Everything was just as it was presented online. Julie had so many things stored for us to use at the beach and all the pots and pans for the kitchen. The location was great and one of the best snorkeling beaches was just across the street. It was perfect.

This condo for two was just as advertised and we would stay there again if we return to Poipu. Very clean and quiet (although the roosters do like to sound off early in the morning). Well stocked kitchen for simple cooking and the location is close to the beach and not far from the main Poipu town center. We recommend this place for others.

We were so happy with our stay. The location is absolutely beautiful, with bonus sunset across the road each evening. The location is convenient in every way … beaches across the road and each direction. We explored the entire island and the drive to each end of the road was beautiful and we enjoyed beach stops. The snorkeling here is great. The condo is clean throughout and we really enjoyed the balcony. The island is packed with their local roosters and you’ll wake to the ocean and them talking each morning. We’ll be back!

We've stayed at PKs before, but Kauai Vacation Rentals made for a seamless, memorable, and super easy visit. The unit has a gorgeous view, is walking distance to some of our favorite spots, and has a fully equipped kitchen for meals at home. The complex itself is quiet and convenient, although loud trucks/ motorcycles occasionally come roaring down Lawai Rd around 1 or 2 am, and it feels louder than it probably is in reality compared to the silence/ waves.We had a little snafu with the plumbing, but the Kauai Vacation Rentals team was incredibly responsive and professional. Mahalo nui loa for making us feel so welcomed and special.

This was an OK rental but probably wouldn’t rent again. The location was ideal for visiting the southern part of Kauai. The downsides were the age and maintenance/cleanliness of the unit.
The room has awesome views of the area and is right on the main road. The penthouse nature means that you have a 270° wrap around patio. The patio had no shade and trex type flooring (too hot for bare feet) so we didn’t find it useful except for early morning or evening beverage.
One of the highlights of the unit was the garden community area that had a nice pool. There are beautiful plants and orchids all throughout. We didn’t use the bbqs but those were well taken care of and had nice seating too.
Just like the listing said we were able to walk to both beaches and restaurants.
The unit was a little musty and needed to be closed up each day when leaving. Hot every time you returned.
The decor was dated but the island vibe conceals it. The beaded curtain and fake plants should be reassessed.
The unit needs TLC, fresh paint, replacing of faucets, rusted vents, and outlets/covers.
I don’t want to say that the unit was dirty. It was clearly cleaned for us but it wasn’t clean enough for me to feel completely relaxed.
The unit also has an ant problem that we discovered after leaving some dessert forks in the sink overnight. We had to leave no food on the counter and take the trash out daily. There was one large roach that I dispatched before the women folk saw it. Thank god.

We loved the layout of this condo. A lovely sitting area overlooking the park with ocean view! The condo was clean, well stocked, and beautifully appointed. The bright, roomy shower was so appreciated. Colleen was very helpful with our questions and check in was a breeze. We only used the a/c briefly upon arriving after a late and stressful flight. The trade winds kept us comfortable the rest of the time.

We had an amazing time exploring Kauai with the Prince Kuhio Studio 334 as our home base! The bed was big and comfy and the studio came with everything we needed for our stay, even extras like beach chairs. My only complaints would be the lack of beach towels (only 2), the chairs facing the TV we not comfortable, and the balcony was tiny and narrow. The grounds are lovely, and the pool is clean. There is an awesome snorkeling beach right across the street where we saw a sea turtle and lots of fish. I would for sure stay here again in this complex, especially in the winter, since it was always sunny when we got back to Poipu, even if it was rainy somewhere else on the island!
