We love coming to Kauai and enjoyed our stay in Poipu. We were close enough to walk to the beach. The house was clean and had all of the essentials. The tub upstairs could have been just a little bit cleaner. It wasn't that it was dirty but the tub had stains that could have been scrubed off and the shower curtain had a few black spots on it. I would still stay at this place again, if we were ever to come back!

Check in/out was smooth. The staff were friendly and handled all of our requests. We had issues with wasps on the lanai that took a couple days to remove the nests. This was frustrating. The condo is on the corner of 2 busy streets, and it was under construction, so the noise was frustrating as well. The condo was fine, no big bells and whistles. I was expecting more for the price but all in all we had a great time.

Our group loved this place! Close to beaches, a pool on site, and plenty of room for our whole group of 12 people. There were plenty of beach chairs and towels with coolers and a wagon. It was super easy to load up and go down to either Brennecke’s beach or Poipu beach. No complaints for our stay other than having to find parking for our second vehicle in the small parking lot and one night having to find a different parking lot. Mahalo for a great stay in the Poipu, Kauai!

I really enjoyed this stay! I was in Kauai for a conference with my two adult boys and a friend. The rental had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the air conditioner worked so well! The master bed was very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure! It provided us a home base to drive all over the island and come home and enjoy a game of monopoly on the porch. The walk to the beach was beautiful and only took about 10-15 minutes. The pool area was nice with grills and a hot tub. I would def stay here again.

We loved this property. It was clean and stocked with essentials. We really liked being able to take the short trail down to the beach. They provided beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and even a wagon to haul it in.Our family of 5 had the best time in Kauai!!Thank you!

It's a spacious house with a well-equipped kitchen that was a great place for our extended family to stay during our vacation. Since we were traveling with small kids, having the washer and dryer for the laundry was a huge benefit. The host was very quick to respond when we had a problem with one of the doors —the knob broke on a Sunday night— and had a repair person out to fix it fairly quickly.

Very clean unit from the photos I was under the impression that it was a lower unit with lawn space for our kids to play jn but it was a second floor unit and it faces two parking lots and the street. I prefer to face the green belt and pictures give you that impression I should have checked and not assumed I was not a fan of having one parking lot facing the unit and the next door property’s parking lot facing the main bedroom then you have the street to the side. Pool was also a pretty good walk I prefer to stay at the Villas at Poipu Kai.

Communication with the host was easy and prompt. The condo was comfortable and fit the needs for our group well (4 adults, 1 teenager and 2 kids). There are two pools close to the condo and neither was too busy during the time we were there. We enjoyed both the pools and hot tubs at both locations. The location of the condo is great! It was easy to walk to Brennecke, Poipu, and Shipwrecks beaches (10-15 min). We loved having access to beach chairs, a cooler and boogie boards (there was also a wagon and umbrella, as well as sand toys etc that we didn’t end up using). Boogie boarding was the best at Brennecke’s and we liked floating/playing in the waves the best at Kiahuna Beach which was just a short drive away. Lots of great shopping close by. We throughly enjoyed our time and would stay here again.

The unit was clean and well stocked with appliances and dishes to make cooking meals at the unit easy. The washer and dryer were a bonus and the decor was nice. However the furnishings were uncomfortable and the mattress in the main bedroom should be replaced. Manager of the unit said that the owners will be replacing the mattress, this should make the next visitors stay in this unit a better experience. The location of the unit is perfect for beach activities, few hiking trails, and great restaurants nearby.

The place was perfect. The location was near everything, with an eight minute, walk to the beach, or down to the grand Hyatt, or drive into town. It was perfectly situated as far as location is concerned.The beds were extremely comfortable! We enjoyed the lanai hanging out playing cards. The TVs worked fantastic very easy and great size. The kitchen had everything we needed. Whenever we had a question, we received immediate responses. There was a slight glitch with the first bathroom, shower handle. They came right out and fixed it immediately.I would stay there again in a heartbeat! We had the best vacation and part of it was because of our Vrbo.

The property is great -- spacious, well furnished and equipped, and well located. The unit is upstairs, so it's quiet, and the ceiling fans provide good air circulation. The upstairs bedroom is a loft with no door, but the louvers above the pony wall provide privacy. From the property it's an easy walk to multiple beaches and shops. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it highly.

It’s a great property for a family. A home away from the home. It has all the amenities that are needed at home. Very close to the famous poipu beach. Loved walking every evening to see the turtles. Located in the middle of the island so can conveniently commute to any side of the island. Overall very good stay

This unit had a lot of bedroom space to accommodate our three couples and two young kids. The kitchen was well equipped with pans and baking sheets, dishes and tableware, which we appreciated as we did a lot of cooking onsite. The place was clean when we arrived and any questions or issues we had were quickly addressed. The Poipu Kai complex, with its numerous pools, pickleball courts and proximity to the beach, has been a favorite location for us for many years.

Overall it was a good stay. One thing not mentioned in the description is that the layout of the upstairs is a railroad. You have to go through the bathroom to get to the second bedroom. If privacy is important for the people staying up there, like it is for my coed teens, this is an important detail. There was incredibly loud road construction that shook the condo starting every morning at 7. We were early risers, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, but worth noting. Lazy relaxed afternoons on the lanai would have been nice, but not with that noise. The space is large and clean and aside from being on a busy road, was a in a great location. Property manager was friendly and responsive.

Spent 3-nights with my husband and my parents. Condo was comfortable, clean, quiet and very spacious, plus an easy 10-minute walk down to the beach along a path. A great homebase while exploring this side of the Island. I booked for the A/C but didn't end up needing to use it at all in late March / early April. I would recommend picking up groceries in Lihue, although we made do with the Big Save in Koloa. Highly recommend for families or couples.

Spring Break Getaway. Our family consisted of 6 people ages 12-76 yrs of age. Close to the beach paved walkway, open concept, spacious all amenities of a home. You don't need to pack heavy since there is washer and dryer. Go to Costco buy some food for snacks, breakfast and lunch. Had dinners out. Beach chairs were great when we went to Hanneli bay. BBQ right outside used it a couple of times super easy. Would definitely recommend for a family like ours. Communication with owner was fast and easy.

All I can say is I never wanted to leave! Our stay was very cozy and the Villa are beautifully decorated, clean, soft, warm, comfortable. We had more than we needed as far as linens, beach gear, kitchen items. The location is incredibly convenient for all of south Kauai and we walked most places but driving anywhere (even with construction) was so easy and quick. Our host Michael was phenomenal and checked in on us and was very available if we needed him. I cannot wait to return to Kauai one day and I hope this place is still rentable.

We had an issue with the vrbo we originally booked for our Kauai vacation and had to find a new place extremely last minute. I messaged Seth and he helped us get settled into his place within a couple of hours of my reaching out. His place was an answered prayer. The home was stocked so well with toiletries and beach supplies. The wagon was so helpful with each beach trips. We had four young kids with us and felt so at home here. The view of the sunrise and mountain from the deck was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was clean, check in and out was easy. Access to the athletic club was a good perk, especially the check out day passes as it gave us a “Homebase” between the 10am check out of the VRBO and our 9pm flight home. Grills at the pool were nice. The walk to the ocean from this unit is about .4 miles to Brennecke’s beach (boogie boarding) and .5 to Poipu Beach (snorkeling, turtles and sometimes monk seals). Loved that this unit came with beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards! We used the 2 smaller pools as they were closer to access than the larger pool near the check in office.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a week in Kauai! Check-in was seamless and Mike’s place was well stocked with everything we needed during our visit. The villa was updated nicely and had high quality linens, cookware, and beach equipment. Beds were super comfortable. Really felt like home.
