Spent 3-nights with my husband and my parents. Condo was comfortable, clean, quiet and very spacious, plus an easy 10-minute walk down to the beach along a path. A great homebase while exploring this side of the Island. I booked for the A/C but didn't end up needing to use it at all in late March / early April. I would recommend picking up groceries in Lihue, although we made do with the Big Save in Koloa. Highly recommend for families or couples.

We stayed in this unit March 18 to the 25th. It was very comfortable and it suited our needs perfectly. There were 4 adults. Unit had everything we could want. We appreciated having all the toiletries. Please note, the unit does have a washer and dryer, but there is no detergent so you will need to bring your own. We enjoyed the beach chairs which were available. The hot tub was warm and clean. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach at sunset and enjoy the turtles. We found a conveniently located for everything that we wanted to do. I will say it was the best snorkeling in Poipu Beach, which we could walk to. Overall, we had a delightful time staying in this unit and I would highly recommend it.

Spring Break Getaway. Our family consisted of 6 people ages 12-76 yrs of age. Close to the beach paved walkway, open concept, spacious all amenities of a home. You don't need to pack heavy since there is washer and dryer. Go to Costco buy some food for snacks, breakfast and lunch. Had dinners out. Beach chairs were great when we went to Hanneli bay. BBQ right outside used it a couple of times super easy. Would definitely recommend for a family like ours. Communication with owner was fast and easy.

All I can say is I never wanted to leave! Our stay was very cozy and the Villa are beautifully decorated, clean, soft, warm, comfortable. We had more than we needed as far as linens, beach gear, kitchen items. The location is incredibly convenient for all of south Kauai and we walked most places but driving anywhere (even with construction) was so easy and quick. Our host Michael was phenomenal and checked in on us and was very available if we needed him. I cannot wait to return to Kauai one day and I hope this place is still rentable.

The property was great for our multi-generational family. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the big table to play games and eat together. Having the washer and dryer was a bonus. We had an issue with the vrbo we originally booked for our Kauai vacation and had to find a new place extremely last minute. I messaged Seth and he helped us get settled into his place within a couple of hours of my reaching out. His place was an answered prayer. The home was stocked so well with toiletries and beach supplies. The wagon was so helpful with each beach trips. We had four young kids with us and felt so at home here. The view of the sunrise and mountain from the deck was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was clean, check in and out was easy. Access to the athletic club was a good perk, especially the check out day passes as it gave us a “Homebase” between the 10am check out of the VRBO and our 9pm flight home. Grills at the pool were nice. The walk to the ocean from this unit is about .4 miles to Brennecke’s beach (boogie boarding) and .5 to Poipu Beach (snorkeling, turtles and sometimes monk seals). Loved that this unit came with beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards! We used the 2 smaller pools as they were closer to access than the larger pool near the check in office.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a week in Kauai! Check-in was seamless and Mike’s place was well stocked with everything we needed during our visit. I’m sure this property is very nice, but we were unable to stay due to extreme weather hitting Kauai. The staff was unwilling to work with me on a refund, despite extreme hazard and safety warnings posted by the state government Emergency Proclomation, Be sure to have insurance if booking or go to another place. We booked another property not a Vrbo, with a different provider for my sister, and received a full refund without hesitation. Severe weather events are becoming more common, so be sure to do your research.

I loved our stay. The only complaint we had was the water temperature in the showers was not hot enough. We couldn’t take a hot shower! Other than that everything was great! The location is a short walk to the beaches and some restaurants.

Ceiling fans were disgustingly filthy and so were the outdoor patios. Carpet very old worn out rumpled up and stained. Dresser drawers were lined w old wall paper that was lose and also dirty - washed them before putting close in. Not very happy about that - should be clean for the money.

Awesome condo and exactly as depicted. Dominica is great with communications. This might possibly be the cleanest vacation rental we ever stayed at and it is maintained like it is brand new. We stayed here for 4 weeks. The location is perfect being on the green belt and short walks to the beach in one direction and the Hyatt and heritage trail in the other direction. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful with all the different vegetation. I suggest walking to the Hyatt and seeing those grounds as well as they are "wow". The best happy hour on the island is at Kalpaki Joes which is a 5 minute walk through the condo complex past the tennis courts. One note of caution if you have never stayed in a condo in Kauai -- they are made of wood, not concrete, which means the noise from neighbors above walking and sliding chairs can be heard at times. All the condos are like this so it is not particular to this unit. I just want readers of the reviews to understand this so they are not disappointed. We didn't let it bother us and it wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Don't hesitate to book this unit -- you will love it!

The location is amazing! We walked along a quiet green belt pathway to get to the beach which is just an easy walk away. The condo itself is great, well provisioned and the space itself is huge! The split ac was handy, as we only needed the rooms cool at night (not the living area).

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Poipu. The place was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and priced extremely well for what you get. It felt like the perfect home base for exploring Kauai. The location couldn’t have been better — walking distance to beaches and great dining, and just a short stroll to Kalapaki Joe’s for dinner and drinks after long adventure days. At the same time, it was perfectly positioned to explore the whole island. We spent one day hiking Waimea Canyon and the next tackling the Kalalau Trail, and being roughly an hour in either direction made it easy to experience both sides of Kauai without feeling rushed. And the real MVP? The jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Absolute game-changer after full days of hiking. There’s nothing better than soaking your legs and relaxing before heading out for the evening. If you’re looking for space, value, walkability, and a great central base for island adventures, this is it. We’d absolutely stay here again.
