This was our second time staying at this property. Both times we brought a group of 9 high school seniors. We loved all the space, they loved the pool and the ability to walk to the beach. the condo is well maintained. We stayed in 2013 and 2024 -- no evidence of wear in 11 years. Great place! Great location and very clean. This unit was one of the best units we have ever rented. It was stocked with everything. We just had to get a little bit of food and shampoo and sunblock/bug spray. I wish every VRBO was set up as well as this one is. It was quiet, and pool/hot tub was nice as well.

My wife, my two daughters, and I have a great stay at this Poipu location. The condo was super clean and it had everything that you could possibly need. Even though it rained for the full five days that we were here, we found a little bit of sunshine here and there to walk down to the beach with the wagon full of beach essentials that Patty provided. If we were ever to return, we would definitely try to book Patty’s place again.

We very much enjoyed our stay and your beautiful island. I will start with the positives: The condo was in a beautiful location, easy walking distance to the beach. The grounds were beautiful and the pools were very clean. We appreciated the boogie boards, chairs and wagon to take everything to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was large enough to accommodate our group. AC and washer and dryer were a great convenience. There were a few things to be improved: one of the bathrooms did not have a door and only had a shower curtain in the opening. This was not shown in the images although we made it work. There is also not a large table on a lanai. This was pictured but not in the unit. We were disappointed in this as this was something we specifically looked for so that we could dine on the lanai. We also found a dead cockroach/waterbug under the sink in the bathroom on our last day there. We would have reported this although were were leaving the next morning. The bathrooms are dated with some mildew and could use some updating. All in all, we had a very pleasant time and would return.

The location was convenient to everything. Clean and all needed supplies were provided. Size was surprisingly larger than expected 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms made this very good for our family. The shared grill at the pool was really nice. Would use this again if we come back.

The location is great with a short walk to beaches, the AC's worked very well, the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked including some of the basics you may not have considered to be available in a VRBO! Property was clean and everying was functional as advertised!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. It is even better than the pictures- very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. The lanai was great for morning coffee and eating outside every night. The property itself is so well maintained-gardens and pools were lovely. A short ten minute walk down to Poipu beach where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, swimming and turtle and seal viewing.
We were impressed with the property manager as well. We had to call her about a smoke detector issue and she promptly came over to assist us (thank you Vicki!).
We would definitely rent this property again and do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We had a blast in Poipu! The condo was perfect for our family. We loved how much space we had, especially the well-equipped kitchen! We spent an incredibly wonderful 10-day vacation here as a family. Our four children and we were delighted with the apartment. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness, the quiet location with the parking lot, the nearby pool with two great Weber grills, the excellently equipped kitchen and, to our great surprise, the many beach utensils, e.g. bodyboards, snorkeling equipment and toys.
We found the apartment very nicely decorated and immediately felt at home. We never had rain, so we were always at the pool, on the beach or in the club. However, if it should rain, there is a TV, games, books and of course the club on site. You can also go shopping in Lihue.
The communication was so good and everything was so clearly described that we had no questions for the reception. We felt very well informed and everything went very smoothly.
We wholeheartedly recommend the apartment 100 percent and will be very happy to return.

The condo grounds were well maintained and had a nice walking path to the beaches. Unfortunately the condo unit itself had outdated bathrooms and kitchen tiling with mold, mildew, and buildup, particularly an orange stain on the tubs from what appeared to be previous bath mats. A deep clean with comet or treating with vinegar to remove the build up is needed and general re caulking of sinks and removal of rust in the bathroom and kitchen areas. We removed shoes per request but the floors were pretty sticky and still left behind dirt on the soles of your feet. The property management did send a plumber out for a sink drain stopper issue and re sent out cleaning crew to address some items (goo in freezer, coffee devices were moldy, re cleaning of the bathrooms) but they probably need to schedule re caulking and deep cleaning of the areas that a general housekeeping might not tend to. The washing machine had black mold and a smell. Communication was not always timely perhaps due to the hours of the property management texting service and it seemed we did not have a consistent person to reach out to each time. The beach supplies were scattered under the stairwell with most boogie boards broken in half and the one that was not had a broken strap. For the price and fees I would have expected a more pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

This condo and location were perfect for my family’s trip to Kauai. The condo is clean, well-stocked, and lovely decor. Can’t beat the location! We loved being able to just walk down to the beaches with the wagon loaded up with boogie boards, chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. we had lots of adventures with a hike starting at shipwreck beach, kayaking on the wailua river, biking along the east shore. We were sad to leave!

My husband and I came here with our 15year old for his spring break. We have been to poipu many times and knew the location meant a walk to the beach. With that being said, it’s about a 10 min walk down an easy paved path through the condo complex to Brenneke beach and park… from there it’s another few minutes along the beach to get to poipu beach. The pool and hot tub is right next to the condo which was cleaned every morning. It’s small but great when you don’t feel like going to the beach. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully loaded. They also had chairs, snorkel gear, beach wagon and toys for a young family and towels. Also, Kawapaki Joes is a restaurant in the condo complex that has an awesome happy hour 3-6 and is within walking distance. Great atmosphere and food. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely stay again. Thank you to the owners for everything!

The beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was perfectly located for an easy walk to Pouipu beach and Shipwreck Beach. Keyless entry was effortless and we were treated with wine, Hawaiian cookies and chocolate on the counter. The host was speedy to reply to any questions we had. The kitchen was well equipped and included spices galore. Plenty of beach toys including wagon, boogie boards, beach chairs and great information on sights to see on Kauai. Condo included Kleenex, night lights, first aid kits, plenty of beach towels, hand held vacuum, laundry detergent, pack and play, charging station - they thought of everything to make the stay extra comfy. Although the condo faced the street you couldn’t hear anything in the bedrooms which had very comfy king size beds. Excellent experience.

Patty’s home was the perfect place to call “home” for our week in Kauai! The close location to the beaches was amazing and so convenient for the multiple times we played in the ocean. The pools and hot tubs were a welcomed perk at night after a day in the sun! Pattys home was so beautifully decorated and we loved and appreciated all of the wonderful “extras” that you just don’t find in other rentals or hotels. We didn’t need to pack or buy so many items because she provided so much! The boogie boards were used daily as well as the beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas. We had a wonderful stay at this spacious condo in Poipu! We really enjoyed how easy it was to walk to the beautiful nearby beaches. The condo is equipped with beach basics - towels, chairs, beach bag and cooler - so handy! It is thoughtfully decorated and the rooms were just right for our family of 4. This is our second multi-generational family trip and stay at the Regency at Poipu Kai. The condo was great, it had everything we needed for our trip. The only (very nominal) downside was the unit was along the main road, which we didn't realize, but that didn't detract from the location or the trip at all. We would stay again!
