We had a great time at this condo. The location is perfect. There was an issue with a broken sprinkler that caused water to hit the living room sliding glass door. I flagged down a maintenance person and they fixed it right away, but not sure how long that was happening as the sprinklers come on at midnight so you wouldn't know unless you're in the living room at that time. Overall, the condo was well stocked with the necessities needed. We would stay here again.

Location was amazing! Great beaches, walking trails, nice property and surrounding areas. We loved all the beach toys and accessories left in the condo for our use. Only small complaint was that the queen bed needs new bottom sheets. They did not stay on the bed and it would slip off each night while sleeping. Otherwise the place was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!!

The Regency at Poipu Kai was a great option for us. Close to beaches, restaurants and sites. My only issue was, I didn't realize the 3rd bedroom was actually a loft. And, pay attention about A/C in the units. Ours did not have central air, but the mobile AC units worked well.

The large kitchen easily accommodated three or four cooks and the beach equipment ensured that we all had a great time at the water, which was less than a 10-minute walk. If you want a simple place in Poipu this is it. Has ac and an easy walk to the pathway that leads you to the ocean. Great for both sunrise and sunsets. Excellent location. If you want real fancy, not the place. Comfortable bed. Very Quiet, loved that. Wonderful host!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a fantastic central location for enjoying Kauai. The property is very spacious and has everything you need. The kitchen and baths are a little dated but everything works. The AC was a big plus. The beach is an easy and safe 10-minute walk. We would gladly stay here again.

This was our second time staying in this complex, but first time in this condo. The condo was nice and the double futon beds were great for our kids. The two main bedroom beds were very cozy. Our only complaint was that we had to wash and put away the sheets for the futons before checking out. We don’t mind pulling the sheets off and cleaning up after ourselves the best we can, but this did not allow us to spend time exploring our last morning because we had to do laundry before checking out. Of the three places we stayed while in Hawaii, we had to do more to prepare for checkout here than any of the other places. We pay a cleaning fee already, so this just seemed to be a bit more than what should be asked of us. Otherwise, we felt the condo was nice and accommodating for our family.

Good: spacious and good location with a short walk to beaches. Beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels (although I had to call for those) were provided. Not so good: this unit is in need of major updates. The refrigerator has a hard time keeping things cold. Furniture is worn down and dated. Family room furniture is not comfortable to relax on at all. Shower was not clean, leftover wash cloth still in it from last guests. Dirt stains and wear are visible in both showers. No AC wasn't a problem until the pool guy shows up every morning at 530 outside of rooms and moves chairs around and starts cleaning. Woke me every morning and had to close sliding door. He has a job to do, just unfortunate it's right outside bedroom windows.This unit needs some serious love and attention to make it more relaxing and welcoming.

We have stayed in poipu every year with our family of 10 (grandparent, 4 parents and 5 grandchildren ranging in age now from 9 to 14). This was by far the least desirable accommodation we have ever had. It’s small, no area to eat or lounge outside, the view is a busy road, it’s stuffy especially upstairs. We required 2 aerobeds so all the kids had their own beds. It was just as expensive as beautiful large houses with outside areas and athletic club access. Would not recommend this condo for a group of more than 7 and only if you don’t mind shared space (no private grill or lanai)

We enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. Loved walking the greenbelt to see the resting sea turtles from this home. It added to our enjoyment the fully stocked beach closet. I borrowed a chair for the beach one day. It was nice to have air conditioning in the bedrooms and have access to a Murphy bed.

This unit is in Poipu walking distance to the beach. Being a condo rather than a resort, I felt free to explore the area. Old Koloa town is fantastic and minutes away. Break-Feast is a must try. Sea Turtles at Poipu Beach the Puka Dog lives up to the hype. Merrimans was delicious and there is so much more. Unit has kitchen and washer dryer. Beds and linens are very nice. Our visit included my husband and I, our oldest daughter and son-in-law and our 1 yr old grandson, and our two teenage daughters. The villa was spacious and perfect for our needs. The balconies are perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. The kitchen had everything we needed for in house meals. Location was perfect, close to beaches and shopping. We stayed for 10 nights at this lovely rental, situated perfectly for daily/ nightly walks down to Poipu beach to see the dozens of sea turtles sleeping on the shore or an occasional Hawaiian monk seal. The location is 10/10, and we were able to use the pool that was just steps away from the front door. We had everything we needed at the condo for our extended stay, including enough items in both the bathrooms and kitchen. We found this a perfect rental for our stay in Poipu, would return!

We loved staying at this condo this December. It was perfect for our five adults and one toddler. It’s a good size with plenty of space for everyone. The AC and fans in the bedrooms worked well to cool the bedrooms off. The rest of the condo has fans and good air flow so we were comfortable. The location was easy walk to the beach and we enjoyed the pools and hot tubs on the property. We would stay again.

Location great. Accommodations were just okay. Maintenance person just walked in one day without knocking or inquiring if anyone was in the unit. Caught our grandaughter off guard. Had to call maint several times to remedy slow draining of tub in upper level. Same with toilet. We ended up having to take a plunger to it several times. Stairwell going up to the unit was not clean when we arrived and stayed that way until we left. Great unit with good amenities but the cleanliness of the area left something to be desired.

This property is perfect for groups of 5 or more. There are 4 king sized beds with comfortable mattresses. It’s an end unit on the corner of 2 busy streets, so sitting out on the balcony isn’t entirely pleasant once the traffic gets going in the morning.

Fabulous property- perfect location and short walk to the beach. Watched the turtles swim into the shore and leave again in the morning. Thank you so much- definitely will rent here again. We had to use all beds and I am impressed by how comfy that Murphy bed was too! Air conditioner units in both rooms kept the whole unit cool for sleeping.

Beautiful property that accommodated my family of 7 and a 2y.o. Close to shops and restaurants. My family enjoyed the use of the athletic club!
Only downside for such a large cleaning fee…there was food and crumbs under the living room couch. Had to sweep it up myself. Looks like it hadn’t been vacuumed for a while. The bottom sheet in the second bedroom downstairs had not been changed for some time lots of dust on it.
Suggestion for the twin beds in the loft area, beds are extremely firm, too firm. Egg crate mattress toppers would help with a better nights sleep Overall we would definitely stay at the unit again.
