My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I had the best time! We have been to Kauai many times but my brother and sister are first timers. The condo was spectacular and just as described! Perfect location for a nice walk to the beach! We had more than enough beach gear except for the body boards (all 4 are broken). We will definitely be back in the future! We had a wonderful stay at #311 in Poipu Kai. This VRBO is in the perfect spot for pool, pickleball and beach accessibility. It accommodated our group of 7 well. The grounds are beautiful! The condo was comfortable and had all the things we needed! We plan to come back again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here. This is a room off the main house. Some felt the listing was misleading but if you read details it’s clear. This could not be a more perfect location. We walked to Skipwreck Beach, the hike there at shipwreck, Poipu Beach, Puka Dogs, saw the turtles, used the pool, and rented bikes. This is an intimate stay with a perfect location.David was accommodating and we were able to check in early to get ready for our luau. Loved every minute of Kaui.

Well appointed kitchen.only thing missing was a pitcher of some kind and a tea kettle.Great mattresses in bedrooms, nice bathrooms.Only thing I would ask is for couch in living room to be replaced. We have been lucky enough to travel to Hawaii every winter for almost 35 years. We prefer to rent rather than have a time share or second home, we have have second homes and it's not worth the aggravation. I understand property management is very challenging, but this place needs a new property manager in my opinion.First, you can't check in until 4pm, and check out is 10am, 6 hours for cleaning? This is the only place we have ever stayed at that doesn't provide at least the first mornings coffee. We had to leave and to to the store to get coffee after a long days travel already.We inspected the water dispenser on the refrigerator for cleanliness, but there was actual mold and it had apparently never been cleaned. The property manager said she would have the cleaner come and clean it, but that did not happen. She did provide a new water filter, which I installed, but the actual dispensing part was still gross. We had to ask her to provide some basic cooking utensils for our family. There was no whisk, no large frying pan, no bowls other than cereal bowls. She did get everything but the whisk, plus a griddle we didn't ask for and never used.The door handle on the front door was loose and about to come off, but I got a knife and tightened it up as best I could. She sent a repair guy to use a screwdriver to really tighten it up, but someone (the cleaner?) should have pointed this out before. Lanai door off living room doesn't lock, I told her but she didn't even respond.

Very nice. Several pools, including access to the fitness center which has a pool with a water slide. Great place. Perfect place for our three families to stay. There was 10 of us and we had two beds to spare. Very nice extended-family vacation spot.

4 adult couples and two infants. Great condo. Would highly recommend. Lots of chairs, umbrellas and water toys available for use. Kitchen amply supplied with cooking gear. Nice big dining table. Upstairs loft/bedroom is very nice with privacy screen, but should be taken into consideration if a couple is planning on staying in that space. All bedrooms had king beds! Would stay here again with our family and close to the beach.

Condo was nice. Could use a little updating but over all was very clean and nice. We packed a lot of extra things such as spices, soap, shampoo and etc to find that is all supplied there with an abundance of all of it. The biggest complaint was no mats for shower or tub and was VERY slippery so had to put towels down. We also could not figure out how to work the tv in the spare bedroom. All said, the condo was very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved the proximity to the beach and the condo was excellent. The only part that could be improved was communication. We had a late flight on our last day so we wanted to request a noon check out instead of 10am. I called the day before (the instructions in the binder said NOT to call earlier than the day before) and was told they would talk to housekeeping and text me an answer. I didn’t hear back so the next day I called their office 6 times and left messages from 8am to 9:30am. I finally got someone on the phone at 9:30 but at that point we had already prepared to leave in a half hour. It was very frustrating.

This is a very nice, very clean and comfortable condo. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a great size, and the kitchen and living area had everything we could have wanted. There's a storage closet on the lanai that was a great surprise with all the chairs, umbrella, cooler, boards, fins, etc. to take to the beach. Getting to the beach is walkable. The beach with the turtles is a quick walk away, and so is the beach with the monk seal who sleeps on the sand. Brenneke's, Puka Dog, and Kalapaki Joe's are all a quick walk. If you weren't planning on renting a car, you could get around Poipu just fine from this location. We found that Uber was available to get to other places on the island especially trips to Koloa a few miles away. We would choose this location to stay again. The host is very nice and offers an exceptional place to stay.

AlohaHad a great stay with our family of 5 at this property while on Kauai at the beginning of January. The kid’s absolutely loved the proximity to the pool and the short walk down to the beach at sunrise and sunset . That said, conditions were a bit rough while we were there, so ended up driving north most days to enjoy the beaches along the east shore and at Hanalei Bay. All said, we had great communication with the property owner and loved the accommodations themselves. Other than a few few burnt out light bulbs the condo was ideal. If you are traveling to Kauai, there is truly no better place you can stay than here! The condo itself is very comfortable, which is great after a long day of play. Close walking distance to two of the best beaches on Kauai (Shipwreck, and Po’ipu). Close to Koloa, and very easy access to the rest of the island. The hosts are great communicators, and quick to respond to inquiries). This will be the first place we look when we are ready to come back again.

We had a great time at this condo. The location is perfect. There was an issue with a broken sprinkler that caused water to hit the living room sliding glass door. I flagged down a maintenance person and they fixed it right away, but not sure how long that was happening as the sprinklers come on at midnight so you wouldn't know unless you're in the living room at that time. Overall, the condo was well stocked with the necessities needed. We would stay here again.

Location was amazing! Great beaches, walking trails, nice property and surrounding areas. We loved all the beach toys and accessories left in the condo for our use. Only small complaint was that the queen bed needs new bottom sheets. They did not stay on the bed and it would slip off each night while sleeping. Otherwise the place was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!!

The Regency at Poipu Kai was a great option for us. Close to beaches, restaurants and sites. My only issue was, I didn't realize the 3rd bedroom was actually a loft. And, pay attention about A/C in the units. Ours did not have central air, but the mobile AC units worked well.

If you want a simple place in Poipu this is it. Has ac and an easy walk to the pathway that leads you to the ocean. Great for both sunrise and sunsets. Excellent location. If you want real fancy, not the place. Comfortable bed. Very Quiet, loved that. Wonderful host!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a fantastic central location for enjoying Kauai. The property is very spacious and has everything you need. The kitchen and baths are a little dated but everything works. The AC was a big plus. The beach is an easy and safe 10-minute walk. We would gladly stay here again.

This was our second time staying in this complex, but first time in this condo. The condo was nice and the double futon beds were great for our kids. The two main bedroom beds were very cozy. Our only complaint was that we had to wash and put away the sheets for the futons before checking out. We don’t mind pulling the sheets off and cleaning up after ourselves the best we can, but this did not allow us to spend time exploring our last morning because we had to do laundry before checking out. Of the three places we stayed while in Hawaii, we had to do more to prepare for checkout here than any of the other places. We pay a cleaning fee already, so this just seemed to be a bit more than what should be asked of us. Otherwise, we felt the condo was nice and accommodating for our family.

Good: spacious and good location with a short walk to beaches. Beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels (although I had to call for those) were provided. Not so good: this unit is in need of major updates. The refrigerator has a hard time keeping things cold. Furniture is worn down and dated. Family room furniture is not comfortable to relax on at all. Shower was not clean, leftover wash cloth still in it from last guests. Dirt stains and wear are visible in both showers. No AC wasn't a problem until the pool guy shows up every morning at 530 outside of rooms and moves chairs around and starts cleaning. Woke me every morning and had to close sliding door. He has a job to do, just unfortunate it's right outside bedroom windows.This unit needs some serious love and attention to make it more relaxing and welcoming.
