This was our first visit to Kauai and we loved it! The villa was beautiful, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach essentials. The location was perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and all the amenities on the property. Sunsets at Poipu Beach is a must. The turtles washing up on the beach in the evening was amazing to watch. Old Kōloa Town was a short ride down the road with everything you could possibly need from restaurants, shops, food trucks, a grocery store and of course, Hawaiian shaved ice. Stephen and Michael were wonderful hosts. Both were very responsive to any of our needs during our stay. The only reason I gave this property 4 stars is because of the noise level we experienced in the unit above us. We could hear every footstep of the tenants above us and it unfortunately woke us up every morning between 5:00am-6:00am. This property would have easily been a 5 stars property had it not been for this issue. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would recommend this property for your visit. Stephen and Michael were great! The issues that we experienced were out of their control and we completely understand that. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a beautiful condo overlooking a lovely pool with a quick 5 minute walk to Poipu beach, or a longer 10-15 minute walk to Shipwreck beach. Both lovely. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotions, which I greatly appreciated! Britta water filter, and a spacious fridge. We didn’t get check in information until an hour after we were supposed to have access to the condo, but they were gracious enough to give us an extra hour before departure, which was super helpful in letting us squeeze in on last activity on our departure morning. I also appreciated their suggestion to get a day pass at Poipu Athletic Club on our departure day, since we had an evening flight. Overall great experience!!

We loved our stay in Poipu with our adult children. The villa accommodated 5 adults perfectly and was stocked with everything we needed. The large lanai off the living room provided ample space for gathering and evening card games. Location was ideal with only a short walk to Brennecke beach and the Hyatt. Pool and hot tub were very convenient and always available. Definitely would stay again!

Have stayed at the Villas at Poipu Kai before - really liked that the couch and chairs feel brand new and liked that there are different options for seating on the lanai compared to other villas we have been at. And the view sitting on the lanai! Can see straight through to see the sunset:)Mike was easy to work with. We had no issues. We liked that he checked in with us and he also gives a detailed link for any questions or instructions you might need Oh and really liked that all the beach supplies were in a garage so we didn’t have to carry from our villa - lots of chairs, a cooler, beach toys etc Thank you Mike !

What a wonderful stay at Serenity Villa. The villa was beautiful, spacious and well stocked, with everything you might need for a day at the beach, or staying in, cooking and relaxing. Amazing location off the greenbelt, with the beach just a 10 minute, relaxing walk away. We walked down to the beach each day of our visit, for dinner at Brenekkes and to see the turtles at sunset, or to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Communication was excellent and all information was provided timely. The beds were very comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows available. Plenty of towels and basic toiletries and large assortment of cooking utensils and small appliances. Tv was set for access to all streaming services, great for the teenager. Lots of time was spent on the lanai relaxing!! Would not hesitate to stay here again and absolutely recommend for your next visit to Kauai.

Great location: 5 min walk to the beach and right next to the pool. Nice furnishings, but dining table only seats 4, and the standard electric range doesn’t qualify as “gourmet kitchen”. Plenty of beach chairs and beach/pool toys, but a wagon to walk to the beach would be a nice addition. Clean and comfortable, would stay here again.

Amazing huge place. We were a group of 8 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone. We absolutely loved the balcony with the big table where we spent a lot of time while at the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and fully stocked with essentials. The location is fantastic, a 10 minutes walk to Poipu beach which is beautiful. The beach equipment was also great. Our six-night stay at the Villas at Poipu Kai was wonderful, and Stephen was an outstanding host. The condo served as the perfect home base for an amazing visit to Kauai. Its layout and amenities were ideal for our group—my wife and me, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren (ages 7, 5, and 2). With us coming from Alabama and them from Alaska, it was a special time together.We’re already planning another trip and hope to stay in the same location again. Stephen went above and beyond by allowing us to extend our checkout time so our grandchildren could rest before their overnight flight back to Alaska. That kindness made a big difference for our family.

Even before we landed in Kauai, we were very well taken care of. All questions were answered very quickly and accommodations were made for a medical delivery for my mom prior to us arriving at the property. The villa was exactly as it appears in the pictures. The kitchen was very well stocked. The property was beautiful and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. Additionally, restaurants and shopping was 5 minutes away. I would absolutely recommend the property to anyone and would stay there in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for our family: 4 adults and 3 kids aged 9, 7, and 2. The unit is very well stocked and the garage is FULL of everything you could need: beach toys, water shoes, snorkel gear, wagon, beach chairs, etc. The location is ideal, a 5 minute (paved!) walk to Poipu and 10-12 minute walk to Shipwreck (also paved). The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool was amazing. We spent all our meals outside on the lanai. Next time we are in Poipu I will definitely try to snag this unit again!

LOVED this condo in Poipu. Very comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. The host was very responsive. The location was great- overlooked the pool (which was very quiet) and was a 7min walk to the beach, and Brenneke’s restaurant. The nearby beach was lovely, and there was a grassy park area with playground equipment next to it. A bakery comes and sells goodies 6 mornings a week out of the Brenneke’s snack shop. The condo is located close to several shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Paradise lost. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend or give a positive review . Small things: Had to ask for paper products (napkins/facial tissues). Kitchen was not well stocked with dishes and the chairs were dirty. Noise from upstairs as the guests above seemed to be up in the middle of the night walking around. Not the fault of the owners but I will not book a lower unit. Big thing: Workers appeared and began a cement construction project on our third day that took place at the back patio and side of the unit which involved the removal of existing walkway. There was constant sawing, hammering of concrete, drilling and engine noice from diesel engines of the excavator and tractor. This went from Tuesday morning until Friday afternoon. The noise was constant and we could not be in the unit during the day. I brought this to the attention of the host on Tuesday and was told that they were "not informed of the project". No offer was made to move us as VRBO states they can do. I asked for some type of financial compensation, but that was denied. Essentially, the owners are taking NO responsibility. Will not go back.

The penthouse was the perfect vacation rental for our family! It is in a great location near 2 beautiful beaches with the green belt walkway making it a short walk. It was clean, roomy for our group of 7 adults and 1 child and had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards as well as a beach wagon.We loved the elevator opening into the penthouse.Kristen was very helpful with answering any questions and even got us an early check in. The villa was wonderful! The 2 ensuites were great for the parents and grandparents, with the kids in the third bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. Having the high chair and pack n play In the unit was great and made everything so much easier. the beach wagon was awesome for transporting the kids along with chairs, towels and the bag of sand toys provided
to the beach. Loved that it was such an easy walk to the beach, and that there was a play structure on the grass by the beach.The baby beach near the play structure was the best we have experienced. It’s a large sheltered cove where the water never gets above about 2 feet. The pool and hot tub were fun and the bbq there came in handy when we wanted to grill one night. The kitchen was well stocked with all you needed and the toddler plates and bowls nd utensils were appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
