Our family had the most wonderful holiday in Kauai, staying at the Villa Poipu Kai The Villa was perfect for a family, it was beautifully furnished, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were great, and it had a wonderful Hawaiian relaxing/holiday feel. It was spotlessly clean, and the washing machine and drier were great for a family. We loved the swimming pool, then sitting out on the lanai in the afternoons/evenings. It was located close to everything, so the location is perfect too. We would highly recommend and hope to be back again soon!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained property in an absolutely fantastic location. We've been to Hawai'i a over a half-dozen times and this was, by far, the nicest place we've ever stayed. It was immaculate on arrival and laying on the lanai and hearing the breeze through the palms will be one of my favorite memories of our stay. It was so peaceful and calming.

We loved our stay here. Lovely home, comfy beds and well-stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. There were six of us, two couples and two friends. A full house, but we never felt cramped - we could hang in our rooms, the comfy living room couches or reading nook, the very generously sized balcony and really, Kauai was alway beckoning us out anyway. Snorkled every morning at Poipu beach, walked down the path to the Hyatt for drinks and music, took excursions to Hanalei and Waimea canyon - just had a fantastic time and couldn't have asked for a better location to leave from and come back to :)

A previous review had us nervous for this stay, yet the place was immaculate. Perfectly clean, well stocked, very comfortable. The Villas at Poipu Bay is a great property with excellent amenities. Having air conditioning is a huge plus when in Kauai as well.

This place had 10 rat traps when we arrived.
From the kitchen to the bedroom. The first night we stayed the rats ate through a bag of bagels and and ate into the fruit we bought and had on counter top in a fruit bowl.
From there the management scheduled pest control to come in and they placed traps on the counter top right next to stove top and by the food cabinet. Knowing we we have a one year old that crawls around and could reach a hand in any of the traps that are around the unit.
All we were told was they thought this was taken care of last week.
The manager was very rude to any questions asked and was definitely put out by any concerns
The assistant was very helpful and did clean unit after my son witnessed a large trap kill and have to listen to the slow death of the huge rat. We also have pictures and video of a love eat being killed in the condo from their traps they set in the kitchen where we have and prepare food.
This all was an issue for multiple days over the trip. They knew about it prior to arrival and never told us. We came into it and paid months ago. Thousands of dollars to deal with that while having a baby.
The freezer didn’t work for the first few days and we had to throw away some food that didn’t actually freeze.
We were told we would be compensated but then never reached back out to us in regards to it. Wouldn’t have paid to live with live rats if we knew before we booked. They chose not to tell us about it.

The condo is in a great location to walk to either Poipu Beach or Shipwreck Beach. Nice room layout for everyone to gather and have private space. The lanai is the perfect size.

First visit to Kauai for our family and we hit the jackpot with E211 in the Villas at Poipu Kai. The condo is spacious and provided a great place for our family of five to ease into the day and land after whatever fun filled adventure we arrived home from. The Lanai was delightful and while you can "see" the neighboring guests, it didn't feel invasive. Beautiful walks to around the resort, easy access to the beach, short drives to shopping and dining. Just the best.

Enjoyed our stay in this unit in Villas at Poipu Kai. It is a fantastic location - LOVED the 5-7 min walk to Brenneke’s beach and Poipu. The villaComes with toys, chairs, wagon, towels, (everything you might like to take with you to the beach)Villa was better stocked than most vacation rentals we have visited. (Soap, lotion, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, basic condiments)Noise (walking, drawers, chairs moving) was an issue for a light sleeper. People above began their day (what seemed loudly) at 5:30am and finished it the same way after 10. We had staff show up at our door the night we arrived bc the neighbor below complained we were disruptive (we arrived at 11pm and the sound of our suitcases bothered them even though we felt we were very quiet) The pool was great and unlike other Hawaiian rentals we have stayed at, we never had a problem finding a spot by the pool when we tried.We had one question about the front door lock and the management company was quick to respond and very helpful.Overall, we would absolutely stay again and recommend this rental.

Location was great! Easy walk down to the beach on an easy walking path. The pool was awesome for kids and adults. Appreciated the locked gate around the pool from inside and outside (need a key both ways) for little kids. The unit itself had everything we needed, good amount of space for everyone, and the sliding glass doors to open up to the deck was lovely and gave the feel of the unit being even bigger. Overall it was a great vacation and this place had a lot to do with that. We would definitely come back here!

This was a very nice house, plenty of room for 4 adults. AC worked great. Nice deck with plenty of space and almost always shaded. Kitchen stocked with necessities. Did need to look up instructions on how to operate the coffee maker but did that the night before so not trying to figure it out when I was desperate for coffee. Parking is not right by the building but still close. Comes stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach bag, cooler plus a wagon to haul it all down to the beach. The beach is just a short walk so the wagon came in handy and didn’t have to fight for a parking spot. Overall a very good stay and I’d rent again.

As advertised and great overall- our second stay in this complex. We appreciated little things like aluminum foil, lots of Tupperware and extra kitchen trash bags. Mansamente aware that the dirty patio cushions/ furniture (stained, dots of mold) needs total replacement IMO. Management was very responsive- I’d stay again!

We traveled to Kauai for the thanksgiving holiday. The condo was amazing. It was clean, well decorated and had a great layout for our group. The location cannot be beat! We walked 5-10 minutes to through the greenway path brennecke’s beach, shipwreck beach, or Poipu beach. We found the “kiddie pool” beach area to be great for our toddlers. We loved the beautiful grounds, large pool and proximity to attractions (cave reserve hike, Hawaiian music at Grand Hyatt, etc). We’re already talking about returning. Thank you for letting us stay at the condo and helping make our first trip to Kauai so magical!

The condo is in a great location, easy walk to Poipu beach and Brennecke beach. The unit itself is very nice and clean. I love the sliding glass doors which allows a lot of fresh air to come in. The pool was very clean and a nice place to hang out plus the grills are there to cook out. A fantastic way to spend an evening.
I don't like to complain but the ceiling fan in the master bedroom only had 1 speed which was a very low speed. The patio chairs which is where we spent a majority of our time are very uncomfortable which was a bummer.
Overall the condo was very good and you cannot beat the location. We definitely would go back again.

This is a beautiful condo. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of care and effort into the decor and updating of the unit. It has really high ceilings and a ton of space. The lanai is amazing and really an additional living space. We spent a lot of time sitting on the lanai and looking out over the greenbelt and people walking by. You have a great mountain view from the lanai, window seat and second master suite. There is a new tv in the main room and a new microwave. I have no doubt the owners will continue to update and improve the unit as needed. It is in a great location in Poipu Kai and a quick walk to the beach as well as the Hyatt complex. The central AC was wonderful and you could feel the lovely trade winds while sitting on the lanai.You will hear your neighbors because of the design and construction of the complex. We were there 14 nights and out of the 3-4 families that stayed above us only one was fairly inconsiderate and noisy. There is a 24 hour ground patrol you can call if people are loud during the quiet hours - we never called but the ground floor neighbors did - the people were that loud. My only complaint about our stay was that the onsite gym was not well maintained. The garbage was not taken out the first 5 days we were there, it smelled musty and there was noting to clean equipment after use. We avoided it. Also, there were only two umbrellas and 9 lounge chairs for the whole pool area. Definitely not enough for the large groups staying in the complex. Hopefully the complex will be adding more soon. The pool itself was recently redone and it is beautiful and everyone enjoyed floating and playing in it.Working with CB Vacations was great - they were very quick to respond to a couple housekeeping needs. I highly recommend this unit and working with them - we had a great trip!

This was our second stay at the Villas at Poipu Kai. We chose this resort again because of the lush grounds, beautiful pool and spa, spacious accommodations, and proximity to some truly beautiful beaches.
This unit was lovely, with plenty of room for 6 adults. The lanai was the most used spot, a very relaxing space, and we appreciated it not being poolside. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked, the air conditioning was a luxury very much appreciated, as was the elevator for my dad.
Two items that would be helpful would be a wagon for hauling items to the beach, and also some plastic ice cube trays. Ice maker had a bit of a hard time keeping up, and bags of ice were hard to come by.
Overall our stay was wonderful, and we were so thankful to finally get to travel to one of our most favorite destinations.

A few of our family members were lucky to get to stay in this beautiful condo and catch up after 18 months apart due to the pandemic. It is a beautiful home with every amenity we needed. The beds were beyond comfortable and the large lanai was an amazing place for us all to gather after a full day exploring or beach time. We walked to the beach every morning to see the turtles and it is the perfect location to get to everything on the island within an hour or so. We definitely look forward to returning next year!
