What a fabulous view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this exceptional unit at Hanalei Bay. Laurie was very communicative and welcoming. The “kitchen “ arrangement was very helpful and we appreciated the coffee supplies and welcome refreshments. Having the beach chairs and snorkeling gear available was an extra benefit. The pool is beautiful and the beach path enchanting. This is probably the best view in the resort, so don’t miss out!

This is one of the best units at Hanalei Bay Resort. The host has it beautifully furnished. The kitchen is equipped with the finest appliances, cookware, and dishes. It was perfect for our family visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

I am so in love with this ocean front view condo. It was even more amazing than I expected. We didn’t even really need to leave the resort because our views were so beautiful.. The resort itself is beautiful as well with the pool and then also the golf carts down to the beach. The condo had everything you need and the beds are comfortable.I haven’t slept that good in a long time. Can’t wait to come back.

Another amazing stay at HBR! Love this condo even more than the one we used to use because of the completely unobstructed 180 degree view of the mountains, waterfalls, Hanalei Bay, and Makana/"Bali Ha'i" mountain. It feels more secluded but is still close and equidistant to both pools. Laurie, the host, was super responsive and left nice little gifts and messages for our stay. Everything was clean and worked great. I'd never been in July, so parking at the resort and crowds in Hanalei were trickier, but we had no real problems. Will definitely be our new go to for HBR/Princeville. Mahalo!

Property was clean and was perfect for 2 adults and two teenagers. Views, location, and resort were great. Kitchen would be a bit small if you were doing a lot of cooking, but was perfect for quick and easy meals. Resort restaurants were busy on nights when only 1 of 2 was open, but we were able to get a table after a bit of a wait. Resort does not have a bar that serves pool area.

This is a wonderful condo. The view is amazing. Fully stocked kitchen and entertainment closet. Washer and dryer are super convenient. Comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of room. It’s like home away from home!

Excellent stay! Comfortable room, amazing views from bed and the lanai, and all the amenities from the resort! So great. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers all readily available in the condo. We even left a couple of floaties and some snorkels. This 3rd story condo is the perfect location in the resort. Pool and ocean views. Easy access to parking, the pool, lobby for towel exchanges and the 2 restaurants/ bars. Happy talk was great food and service with a nice happy hour. Calling in a to go order to Wiki Pizza was perfect after a long day at the beach. Dave was great and very responsive. Highly recommend!

The view is what it’s all about! Ocean and Mountain view exactly as pictured. We loved that! The resort is quiet, had nice pools and access to the beach down a steep hill path. The resort will provide cart rides up and down but we walked with our gear just fine. The cozy room was comfortable and was great for our short stay. The furnishings are very nice; we slept well. We didn’t read the listing as closely as we should have; this is really a hotel room style place not a condo. We were expecting a kitchen and living room but the small refrigerator, microwave and K-cup coffee maker worked out well enough. Thanks for the snacks & drinks, nice touch! The balcony has enough space for sitting outside to eat and relax in chairs or at the table.

The room was cozy and had the most incredible view. The resort was lovely. They had golf carts that would take you around the resort which was very handy in getting to the beach on property. Our biggest downfall was the shower. One of the shower heads was stuck on hot. One of the handles wasn’t screwed in and a bracket on it was missing, and there was a broken plastic part on the rail. One of our beach chairs was broken as well. However, they kindly refunded us some money. Overall, it was a beautiful stay on the North Shore and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Kauai.

This place was perfect for us. The kitchen, the laundry, and especially the balcony were exactly what I was looking for, and the view was everything I hoped it would be. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and all the appliances were top‑notch. Communication was spot on, and when we had a small internet issue, it was resolved immediately.My only recommendations for this unit would be a couple of towel hooks in the bathrooms for hanging wet swimsuits and towels, and some more loungy‑type furniture for the balcony. There was only one chaise lounge out there, and having a second one would have been really nice.Overall, we loved our stay — this unit fit our needs perfectly.

Wow! This property was exactly what we needed. A view of the ocean, the sailboats, the surfers and the mountain! The property had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Having the beach gear including chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear was perfect. It was really nice to have the golf car service to drive us to and from our car to transport the luggage. Laurie’s welcome packet was loaded with information to help prepare us for our trip and create an itinerary for each day. Having the facts about the island was wonderful too! Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary stay just perfect!

We spent 2 magical weeks in this fantastic property! The layout worked perfectly for our family - our two teenagers loved having their own space in the loft! My favorite part was the huge lanai - having my morning coffee overlooking rainbows and Hanalei bay was incredible! We had everything we needed in the property to make it feel like home and the hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. We hope one day we are lucky enough to return!!

Cleanliness was disappointing, and communication between the resort and host to resolve the concerns was clunky. I notified the property of the cleaning concerns within 24 hr, but my message was missed. I reached out to two other contacts before the property got back to me. By then, it was too late to fix the issue during my 4-night stay. They did eventually agree to a minor refund towards a portion of the cleaning fee. Parking was tight. Because this building shares the parking lot with the restaurants, staff are often double parking cars / shuffling cars during the busy restaurant hours to make sure some spaces are still open for resort guests while also giving some space for restaurant-goers. There is a chance you might have to wait for a valet representative to move a car out of the way for you to get in or out during peak times.We did appreciate the great location of this unit. The view was lovely and we enjoyed getting to hear the nightly live music right from our deck that came from the resort’s restaurant nearby. We also enjoyed the beach access and the option to be picked up and dropped off by resort staff on their golf cart.

This property was exquisite. We enjoyed the furnishings and the location in Kauai. The only problem for our family was the lack of elevators for my parents and how far it was from the parking lot. However, it was clean, the view was amazing, and we enjoyed the property with its pools.

Location of the condo within the resort was perfectly situated between pool and tennis courts with a beautiful water view from the patio. The condo itself was nice but could have been a little cleaner. Washer machine was extremely loud and in the kitchen. Our AC didn’t work for 3-4 days but they made it right my discounting our rate.

The property was bigger than the photos look. It looks like 2 adjoining hotel rooms but they are much bigger than hotel rooms. There was plenty of space for my family of 5. It was closer to parking than other units and close to the restaurant and lobby so that was nice. You do have to call the golf cart for a 15 minute wait to go anywhere you need a ride, but walking is not bad either if you don’t have a bunch of stuff to carry.

We have vacationed on beaches all over the world and this place is now one of our favorites. Kauai was amazing and the Bay was absolutely beautiful. The beach at this VRBO was perfect for our family. The trees created natural shade for our kids to play and the waters were calm. We rented paddle boards and snorkeled. The host provided beach chairs and the golf cart transport made for easy access there and back. This place had an amazing view of the bay and was decorated so cute! We split our time in Kauai between the Grand Hyatt on the south shore and this VRBO. We will be back and we plan to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!
