The pictures don’t do this place justice. Absolutely stunning views and amazing facilities. The condos were clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort before and this unit is great. Amazing Bali Hai view. Easy walk to pool or pathway to beach. Well equipped with cooler, beach chairs and beach toys.AC is useful on those hot evenings. Bed was comfortable. I had a few questions and they were answered quickly.

This unit was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Very well constructed / good materials used. The resort was even nicer than expected. We really enjoyed ourselves on this trip. Hot water never ran out, the hot tub in the resort was kept at a really nice warm temp, and there were many grills to cook on.

Beautiful condo that was very well maintained and clean. The view off both decks was gorgeous. My two kids loved the loft and the master bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and having an in unit washer and dryer was a plus. The host immediately responded with any questions we had. I would absolutely rent this condo again.

Check in was very easy. We arrived very late in the evening and the desk clerks were there to give us keys and pertinent information. Condo was in a convenient location on the large property, close to the pool, with an incredible view from the ground floor and very close to parking. Condo was clean and had loads of beach toys to use - fins, snorkel gear, towels, beach chairs, floaties, etc.

Overall good place for the money for simple living in Hanalei, especially if you plan to be out all day. The resort property is the highlight, while the unit is dated and basic. Pros: Amazing views of Hanalei Bay and amazing resort property. A great lanai and it has AC. Unit comes with a bunch of snorkeling items, umbrella, and beach chairs. Very quiet at night. Resort pool is awesome and has great place to watch the sunset. Cons: No dishwasher, microwave, kitchen sink, or washing machine, so plan to eat out your entire stay except for snacks. Loft takes a long time to cool down even with the AC going all day which is hard when going to sleep. Weak water pressure in the shower.

The location, amenities, and overall experience was very good. The description of the studio was transparent (no kitchen) so we knew what we were signed up for. It would be hard to match the view. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel safe with a fair amount of surveillance of the resort grounds. The restaurants were also easy to get seated and offered great service. Special additions: umbrellas and beach chairs, coolers to take to the beach, good cleaning supplies.

The unit is dirty, the bathroom is covered in mold and stains, as well as roaches. The listing is misleading and pics must not be recent. This is not a studio, it's a master bedroom with no kitchenette. You have to do your dishes in the bathroom. So many items are broken from the chipped art to the unravelling bed to chunks missing from the walls and even the bathtub. The bathtub has no stopper and is in such disrepair it couldn't be used. Its also very slippery, my kid fell twice taking a shower. The toilet is old and leaks constantly. I truly have never used such a disgusting bathroom in a vrbo. Also the canopy of the bed was covered in dead bugs. I wrote to the owner aboout these issues and received no reply. The only pro was the view. Otherwise it was a horrible experience and the owner does not seem to care. He responded once to my first inquiry about not having any supplies/toiletries and sent someone with hand soap. After that it was radio silence. The resort overall is run down and old, and the hills are very steep to get anywhere. The listing says there are 6 restaurants. There are 2 that only open after 3pm with a store that sells coffee in the morning. Fortunately there is a better resort next door so we ate there every day. Even the info on the map they give you at check in was outdated, for example, the wifi network and pw were not current. So overall very little to recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the ocean and lush scenery each morning was unforgettable. The condo had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to beach gear, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained, adding to the relaxing island vibe. While a few things inside could use some updating, it didn’t take away from the comfort or the experience. Beautiful view of Hahalei Bay and mountains. This was a wonderful place, long walk down to beach, golf cart rides up. A walk to car, pool, but overall a beautiful place for a vacation. Room is quiet, clean. Made our own coffee each morning, nice fridge for keeping breakfast milk, half and half for coffee, stuff from grocery store. Good restaurants in Hanalei. Fun views from the bay at sunset on the pier. Would recommend this to friends.

This is a beautiful condo with incredible views! There was great communication and easy check in at Hanalei Bay Resort. However, much as I personally loved the place, I do not think I’d stay here again in a group with older people or babies/toddlers, as the parking is about a 5-7 minute walk uphill from the unit and you need to call a golf cart from Hanalei Bay Resort to take you/your stuff. At busy times the golf carts can take 30-40 mins.

The parking lot is a very far walk from the condo. This listing failed to mention that it has a shared door with a neighboring condo and the walls are very thin - not to mention there is no key or bolt that shows that the connecting door is even locked or safe. When I reached out, there was a third party communicator who could not help. The space is very small.

The property management was great at communication. We got in late and the bed was broken so the next day we let them know and they immediately found a solution to fix it. It was a Murphy bed but was pretty comfortable for a Murphy bed. Place was well stocked. Great views from the patio. Check in and amenities great. We still haven’t gotten a refund of our deposit yet though.

Overall, the room was about the same quality as you'd find at a Hampton Inn on the mainland. A little dated, but fine for a couple staying for less than a week. There is a mini-fridge, blender, coffee maker and some cutlery and plates. Doing dishes in the bathroom sink wasn't ideal, but we made it work. The room was not that clean at check-in as there was still a lot of standing dust on surfaces. Also, the television turned on but nothing would broadcast on it either via cable TV or my own device. The view from the lanai was great and this part of the property was very quiet. The unit is at the bottom of a large hill but HBR provides free golf cart service you can call or text 24 hrs a day. Be sure to tip! We also liked the pool area and the small beach at the bottom of the hill. We liked HBR a lot and would visit the property again, but perhaps stay at a unit with more amenities like a full kitchenette.

We had an amazing stay and enjoyed every second of our visit to Kauai. This condo is perfect and has everything you need for cooking, swimming, enjoying the view and going to the beach. Belinda was great to work with and about 2 days in I realized most of the artwork hanging on the walls is hers. It’s beautiful! I cannot recommend this place enough and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Another thing to note: I was traveling with my 80 year old parents and this place is ground floor with no steps. That was a huge perk for us. It’s also steps away to the beach path and made catching the shuttle easy.

Check in was smooth and the room was just as shown on site. The bed was extremely comfy and the A/C worked well on the hot days. The parking was an issue. The site says 'parking close by' and it was difficult in the afternoon and impossible after dinner hours. We had to have the valet double park our car on the opposite side of the resort. Other than that, the accommodations were great.

This had everything we needed and the view was spectacular!! The room was perfect and had a kitchenette (which was nice but we only used the refrigerator), the bathroom was spacious but we really appreciated the washer and dryer! Hat a bonus to be able to do laundry in the room. If we come back we would love to stay again in this very room. Superb host!

This property was incredible. The location was great, the view cannot be beat, and the property was perfectly stocked and impeccably clean. Our guests' ages ranged from 6 to 65, and everyone was thrilled. There were beach chairs, sand toys, beach umbrella, paddle boards, pickleball and tennis equipment, a cooler, a kitchen with everything you need to make great meals at home, games and books, and a washer and dryer so we went home with clean clothes. The resort property had a lovely pool and hot tub, two restaurants and a coffee shop, and pickleball and tennis courts. The beach was lovely, with plenty of trees for natural shade. We can't say enough good things about this property and we would absolutely come here again.

Kauai is the most beautiful place and Steve’s place is absolutely gorgeous views. The beds were.very comfy and Steve always responded quickly. I definitely plan on coming back here. Property was not very clean. Maintenance showed up after check in to re-set the toilet and they left a bit of a mess. The rest of the unit wasn’t very clean our kids found a pepperoni on the outside furniture. There was no additional toilet paper rolls which we would have grabbed from the store had we known they wouldn’t be provided. The front desk informed us since this is a privately owned unit they could provide a roll for a charge. Parking was a nightmare. If you left in the evening you couldn’t get a parking spot upon your return. I wish the unit was more clear in setting expectations. Our deposit was never retuned despite leaving a spotless unit
