The place had beautiful views! We enjoyed staying at Hanalei Bay Resort, with easy access to the beach and pools. The room itself, lacked some basic amenities…we ran out of toilet paper and body wash after the first day and had to go buy some. There were no mugs to drink coffee or tea in the morning.

First off let me say you do not come to HBR for the beach view. The mountains and Hanalei Bay views are to die for. This is our third year coming to Kauai and our second stay at HBR. This has been our favorite condo to date. It is front row center to one of the most gorgeous sunsets you will ever see. We will definitely be back. Condo was absolutely perfect it checks all the boxes.

Its a 5-10 min walk from the parking to many of the appartements.No coffee place or shop.

The stay was great! We had to rearrange the balcony furniture as the air conditioner on the right side was very warm. We snorkeled at the resort's beach and Hideaway's Beach. We missed the microwave because we couldn't warm our coffee. Overall we loved the place!

Condo 9323 is a wonderful experience. Exceptional view of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay and sunset. Lovely to have breakfast on the porch. The AC worked well. Kitchen was well stocked. The condo has obviously had many upgrades, and is well thought out. We did not use the loft area, but for children it would work well. Both the Parrish Collection and the resort were very responsive. The pool and hot tub at the resort are both stellar - beautiful and large with a great view of the sunset over the ocean. Saw gorgeous turtles and fish snorkeling off the beach shared with 1Hotel. We would definitely highly recommend and would come back again.

The location of the room was fantastic- close to restaurants, pool & parking lot. The view from the lanai was so peaceful and private. We enjoyed our coffee every morning there watching the birds. The rooms were fully stocked with everything we needed and the king mattress was extremely comfortable. Overall I am extremely pleased with everything & I highly recommend staying here. Also the resort is stunning- the pool, the views, landscaping & more. Happy Talk is a great place for a bite and drink and the live entertainment is great.

The room was perfect for what we were looking for. Obviously not the cheapest, however in our opinion, it was definitely budget friendly when considering some of the surrounding resorts. Outside of that, the view from the balcony was BEAUTIFUL. The service and hospitality from check in to check out, was incredible. I even made the mistake of leaving my passport and car keys in the hotel after check out, and the front desk was sure to help me retrieve them. Beautiful pool/jacuzzi, tennis and gym available. Not to mention the courtesy golf cart ride to the beach or wherever you needed to go on the resort grounds. Amazing stay overall!

We just spent 5 nights at this amazing property and wish we could have stayed longer! The location is absolutely incredible, if you can imagine a tropical paradise, this is exactly what it looks like. The surrounding nature is breathtaking.
Situated in Princeville, a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of great dining options, stunning golf courses, and, of course, the legendary Nā Pali Coast. There are also gorgeous wild beaches nearby where you can truly enjoy nature in peace - it never feels crowded, making it a truly unique and relaxing getaway.
The room looks exactly like in the photos, cozy, welcoming, and with an unbeatable view.
We’re now spending the rest of our trip on the South Shore in Lihue, but after experiencing the North Shore, it’s hard to enjoy it here - it just doesn’t compare!

We stayed for two nights. Overall the resort is beautiful and the unit was great but there were a few items that ended up detracting from the overall experience. The resort restaurant was closed on the one night we were really looking forward to going. And then the coffee place was closed the next two mornings. One of the benefits of booking in a resort like this is the on-site amenities so this was really a bummer. The unit itself was at the very bottom of the property. Great view and closest to the beach (still a ten min walk), but unfortunately was quite a hike uphill to get to the main building, pool and parking lot. They have golf carts that can take you around (including to the beach) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but it still would have been nice to have been able to easily walk to the pool and our car. Overall it was a very nice place and had we stayed longer the closures wouldn’t have been as big of a deal and the only detraction would have been the property layout. This area of Kauai is absolutely beautiful and this place is very nicely situated in close proximity to Hanalei Town, Hanalei Bay and the amazing hiking and sights up north. If you’re staying longer and don’t mind a lot of golf cart rides OR hiking up a steep hill several times a day, this is a great place.

We were THRILLED with our stay in this VRBO!! Hannalei Bay Resort is Amazing! The property is well kept- the service is top notch. The food, pools, golf cart service was stellar. Our VRBO had absolutely breathtaking views of the Na Pali mountains. The space inside and outside was all we needed. We easily fit 5 adults in here. Communication with our host was perfect! We had such an amazing stay here! The resort grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. While the unit is a bit of a steep walk from the parking lot, the resort’s shuttle service makes it no problem at all. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the property felt throughout our stay. The landscaping is stunning and lush with both cozy nooks for small gatherings and open lawns with games and lounge chairs. The on-site restaurants were a convenient bonus: a bit pricey and the food was just okay, but the views and atmosphere were incredible.The unit itself felt more like a spacious hotel room than a full condo, with limited kitchen amenities, but it was clean and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the mini fridge, coffee maker, and blender. Beach supplies were provided in the closet (cooler and lawn chairs). The resort is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Having the golf cart take you down to the beach and back is a major plus! The owners are so nice and helpful, and their property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic! The view from the room is spectacular! You can see the majestic mountains behind Hanalei Bay lying in bed. If you are looking for modern upscale room this is not the place. But if you want a great view, convenient parking, and be close to the pool and the onsite restaurants this place is for you. There is also your own beach that has snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. The beach is about a half mile walk down a hill but it is easy to get a bell hop to take you down in a golf cart. The meals we had the restaurant on site were very good. You can also go the swanky One Hotel for drinks or a meal right next-door.

The resort and location are great. The room has a beautiful view and is in a quiet area of the resort. It is at the bottom of a hill so going anywhere on the resort is an uphill walk If that is an issue for you they provide golf cart service and will drive you wherever you need to go. There is a smaller pool and bbq area very close to this suite and the larger pool/ hotub/ sport courts and dining area are a short walk up the hill. The resort has a nice private beach that is shared with the 1 Hotel. We were a bit disappointed with the suite itself. It had a musty smell and could use a few repairs annd deeper cleaning.Our air conditioner was dripping onto the pillow/bed in the lock off when we arrived. We moved the bed away from the wall which left it dripping onto the floor where the outlet and cords were located. We also could not get 2 of the 3 TVs to work. We contacted the number provided to us and didn’t hear back until we contacted them later to let them know we were able to resolve the dripping issue and get one of the 2 TVs to work. We were never able to get the TV in the lock off to work. They also leave the modem and all the cables in a pile on the floor in the lock off. I would recommend for them to at least put it all in a bin or basket on the floor maybe. It was an eyesore when looking out the window at their beautiful view and needing to walk around or step over to go out to the lanai. If we were to take another trip and planned to spend more time

Wonderful Hanalei Bay Resort grounds and property. We stayed at HBR on our honeymoon and now came back with family. Unit was clean and adequate. It's small and with pull out sofa open felt a bit cramped. Unit is close to pool and lobby. Decently appointed, although not updated or high-end in any respect. Slightly worn furniture and moderate wear and tear. Mini-split AC could have been colder. Didn't affect the good time we had. We enjoyed our trip, and I'd recommend staying at this unit for a nice, chill vacation. Kauai never disapoints!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed in this unit, and obviously I love it. The view is everything and I appreciate that the lanai has both a table and chairs and a great lounge chair. The bed is very comfortable, the linens soft, the kitchenette very well equipped. I enjoy the resort - it offers a lot of amenities.

My boyfriend and I loved staying here for 2 weeks. The condo was the perfect size for a couple. It was clean, attractive, and comfortable, and the surrounding resort is gorgeous and well maintained. We accidentally locked ourselves out a few times, and the front desk and maintenance were prompt and attentive with getting us back in. We loved sitting and eating on the private lanai with a gorgeous view of the tropical plants and wildlife. The resort includes a beautiful beach path to Puu Poa beach, and is also a short walk to Hideaways. Overall, a great experience and we would stay here again! One little thing- we would have liked a microwave in the room, but there is one a short walk away in the resort's community kitchen.

Overall we love Hanalei Bay Resort, and the ocean views from the large balcony were amazing. Unfortunately, the listing and photos depict this unit as being much larger than it really is. The unit is more like a studio apartment with the bed and couch taking up most of the livable space. My wife and I had very little room to put our luggage and other belongings. The appliances and furniture could use an update, the shower door leaks water all over the bathroom floor, there are so many rules with this particular unit that it doesn’t really feel like a vacation. We spent so much time cleaning and following rules that we felt like we were walking on eggshells instead of enjoying our Anniversary! Also, the owners want their guests to purchase travel insurance during their stay and we were reminded to purchase this several times! We’ve stayed at this resort four times now and no other owners have requested travel insurance. Lastly, the owners said to reach out with any issues and we did with an urgent request, but they failed to respond until the next day and it was too late at that point. Ultimately, we did get the issue fixed, but we had to do it ourselves. With that said, it is conveniently located near the pool and parking lot and check-in and check-out were easy.

Absolutely amazing. Excellent location for the incredible view, close to the pool, parking, and walkway to the beach. Spotlessly clean unit and grounds. The resort was perfect in every way we can think of. Friendly staff. Gorgeous landscape. Traditional Hawaiian feel everywhere. Great food at the restaurants. Unbelievable pool. Looks like a previous pool bar has been discontinued, but you can still enjoy sitting in the water on a 'stool' or relaxing in the shade, or escaping a downpour. BYOB to the pool. Even has TV's. Walk to beach is all downhill, so all uphill coming back. We called for a shuttle most times, which was fast and easy. Beautiful beach with turtles swimming close by. We were able to easily park close to the unit with no problem. We slept very well, however, the king mattress could use replacing soon. We will definitely return. LOVED it.

This spot has such an incredible view I didn't appreciate fully until I arrived. You could sit in the bed, relax and just take it in. It was a short and easy walk to the pool, bar, restaurant and incredible sunset views. It was a ten minute walk down to the water but always had the option for a golf cart ride which was amazing. Only downside were some of the other guests at the resort. Not very kid tolerant, especially at the pool. Maybe just the time of year? Snorkeling at the beach a great alternative!

The Hanalei Bay Resort property and amenities are exceptional. Princeville is beautiful and Hanalei has great shops, fantastic restaurants, and the best coffee pastries and bread at Hanalei Bread co. This was our first trip to Kauai. We feel very lucky to have found this condo to rent. This condo is on the 3rd floor in the building next to the resort lobby. It is so convenient, quiet, and has the best views of Hanalei beach and the mountains. Dave is a great host too. He was very helpful in recommending things for us to do during our stay. If you’re considering Hawaii, pick Kauai for its absolute plush beauty and embrace the “Polynesian paralysis” chill lifestyle they enjoy.
