We spent 10 days in Princeville staying at the Muxlow's home. The communication prior to our stay and during our stay was superior, and handled by family members. The three bedroom condo was comfortable,very well equipped, beautiful inside and on the outside porches, and with views of Hanalei Bay that cannot be matched! The Hanalei Bay Resort pool and beach were incredible for all ages. The location is quiet, convenient to everything, and peaceful.We would not stay anywhere else! We highly recommend staying there, and hope to do so again in the future.

The view of this property is breathtaking & so worth it. My husband and I came and stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just the perfect size for us! It’s inside the Hanalei Bay Resort so we had to check in/out like a real hotel/resort and the hosts do not communicate with you at all. We couldn’t make any sense of the fifty/day parking fee so just be aware of that before you book. The place had pretty much everything we needed like beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and an ice chest. There was an interesting smell when we walked in but it might’ve just been us. Staying in Princeville was beautiful and overall we had a very good experience and we’d come stay again!

We had a wonderful experience, start to finish. Communication from the owners was extremely detailed and helpful, the place was beautiful, and we really appreciated all of the included extras (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc). The resort was also beautifully maintained. We were sad to leave!

This was my first time staying in Princeville and it was the absolute perfect place to stay with breathtaking views. Central location to Napali Coast, north shore beaches and everything you need. 11 years ago, my husband and I had a drink at the St. Regis pool area and were envious of the people that could afford to stay in a place with such a gorgeous view. 2 weeks ago we stayed at this unit at the Hanalei Bay Resort and had an even better view. A dream come true for a great price. The high ceilings make the room feel airy and larger than I expected. The resort grounds are beautiful, and we made good use of the pool which never felt crowded. There are spotless grills to use by the tennis courts and Foodland is close by for shopping. This unit is located in the most convenient location for everything including getting to your car to pack up for daily outings to the beaches. We loved our stay here and hopefully will be back again. Also, the host was available to contact if we needed anything, but everything went smoothly so we did not need to contact David. Thanks for sharing this little piece of heaven that I had always dreamed of experiencing.

Condo location perfect, right by path that leads to beach, great room sizes, amazing views. However told management company (unit was owned by private owner, so resort could not help us) coffee pot did not work, couch sectional was heavily stained and when I went to flip over cushions there was so much food in couch, said they would send someone out to fix. Patio furniture covered with bird droppings. Took 4 days just to get coffee pot and no cleaning crew sent ever to address anything else by Vacasa. Wooden bench in shower moldy. But enjoyed the balcony views. All of HBR is amazing.

Very nice unit. Fully stocked with anything you need during your stay. Please note: it is a 3rd floor unit and there's no elevator. Aside from that its perfect. Beautiful views of the mountains and overlooking the pool.

I would stay here again. The views are beautiful and the property grounds are very well kept. The only thing I wish were different is the pool was ice cold and there was no lunch or drink service at the resort. Looks like they at one point had a swim up bar? The lounge/restaurant on site was great for dinner and had live music every night we were there.

This unit was everything it advertised: spectacular view, comfy accommodations, great location close to the pool. I would encourage the owners to provide directions for adjusting the water temperature on the shower, and for operating the stove. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We would advise the resort to reduce the amount of leaf blowing, which seemed to go on constantly. The resort itself was amazing, with the waterfall enhanced pool one of the highlights. Overall, highly recommended.

We loved HBR! The perfect hybrid between a resort and a rental. The daily fees do add up but we thought it was worth it. The view was amazing and the grounds of the property are extremely well kept. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The private beach is unbeatable. The pool and hot tub were so peaceful and clean. Happy Talk Lounge and Wiki Pizza were great hangout spots too. We will be back!

This property was clean and the view from the unit was nice with ocean in the distance. The property managers were very responsive too. Nice to have resort amenities like clean beach towels and access with nice pool. Just note there's still additional daily resort and parking fees and taxes on top of what's paid through VRBO. Minor, the TV reception is not very stable and some days there were no good receptions/channels avail, and the tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles were not enough to last my family of 4 for the week.

HBR was super relaxing, the studio was clean and fully equipped for our stay. The property has incredibly amazing views of the mountains, ocean and pool area. The property is lovely with beautiful sunrise/sunsets, not overcrowded or too loud. I would recommend the property for singles and couples for a great get a way! Thanks Milo & Theresa😊

We stayed for 8 nights in November. Upon checking in with the resort front desk we were informed the building would be having a new roof installed during our stay & that there was nothing that could be done. We followed up again in the days to follow and they once again just reiterated they were “sorry”. The resort was, per the VRBO instructions who we were supposed to interact with. We received a letter from the resort reiterating nothing could be done & work was scheduled well in advance. The property owner failed to disclose this. Our experience included nails failing from the ceiling, dirt and debris falling from the ceiling and it was so exhausting/frustrating we checked out two days early. Imagine this all with a 1 year old trying to nap. The host only refunded us for those final two nights, which was disappointing given what was a truly absurd situation. My learning, stay away, go get a nice hotel with a kitchenette next time.

My husband was literally locked out of our room the first night because the staff failed to relay my message that he would be checking in — not me. Management assured me that all should be well. I even asked to change the name on the reservation to my husband’s name to avoid the potential confusion. When he showed up (with my same last name, mind you), none of the updates or communication were passed to the front desk and they refused to let my husband in until they spoke with me. It was the middle of the night my time that first night, so he had to crash at a friend’s. (Thankfully he had this option.)
Needless to say, we were very frustrated.
When I asked for a refund and followed up, I heard nothing.

Loved the area, resort, amenities, room, and view. This area has an upscale vibe as opposed to Hanalei Bay which has a more laid-back, surfing vibe. The bed was very comfortable and access to this 3rd floor room was very easy from the parking lot. Some parts of the room and stairwell to the room were a bit dated, but all minor. Would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai! Our place was perfect for two people and the view was amazing! They really thought of everything and had so many little helpful things in drawers. Even down to the extra power ships they had to be able to charge devices. All of it was very helpful!

By far, the best part of this condo was the view! It was amazing to see Hanalei Bay with a backdrop of the mountains. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon, and it was absolutely breathtaking over the water.
Small dissatisfiers were the lack of towels & their quality, and somewhat outdated kitchen. Also, we were "lucky" to have our building being roofed the week we stayed. Ugh. However, Laurie was great to communicate with & made sure we quickly received additional towels.
I definitely would not exclude this place as a great Hanalei Bay condo!

We loved where this unit was located in the resort. Easy access to the pools, grills, restaurants and path to the beach. Golf cart shuttles were key! Loved the unit, suited our needs very well. There are a lot of resort fees such that the total cost ends up higher than I expected .
