When we arrived and saw the view from every sliding door it was breathtaking. What a great place and location to stay. It was decorated in a very zen way and had everything we needed for a three day stop before two more travel destinations. I would stay again and again as I cannot stop thinking about how beautiful everything was. Next time, my stay will definitely be longer at this location.

I love the beach style of this unit. Great ground floor unit perfect for kids. After relocating a few breakables into a closet, this place was easy with little ones. It had everything we needed and was well organized. It was clean and uncluttered. The location was easy for both pools and walking to the beach and the view was gorgeous. I would recommend this unit and we will choose this one again. We have stayed in at least 6 different units on the property and enjoyed this one the most.

The property was nice and the unit was just as described. It was very well stocked with needed items for kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We had family at a separate location so we didn’t get to use all of the amenities on the resort but enjoyed the ones we did!! Great restaurant at resort!! Beautiful setting- breathtaking views!!

We loved our stay here at the HBR. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The view every morning was jaw dropping. We loved the local beach and the snorkeling was awesome to walk down to.
We also appreciate all of the beach gear.

A beautifully decorated and located apartment in the tropical Hanalei Bay Resort. The views over Hanalei Bay remind you that you are on the magical
Island of Kauai. The bedrooms are good size and although one smelled
Of smoke - despite no smoking signs everywhere - my 4 year old grandson, daughter and I loved staying here. Great to have a bar/restaurant near by and 2 pools to choose from.

We had such a great week here! My only complaint is that the resort swim up bar was closed and we were not notified of this beforehand. I understand this is probably out of the VRBO owners control but considering the description included this, we were pretty disappointed when we arrived. The fees for the resort and parking were also higher than in the VRBO listing. All and all, we loved the space but would just appreciate correct information!

Lovely unit with great amenities and well stocked to enjoy the tennis court, beach etc.
only negative is the resort was not great at sending the golf cart to get you around. We were fine walking so it worked for us but it is quite a bit of walking.
Great for family’s. But if you have young kids or elderly - would not recommend due to the walking and poor management of golf cart.

We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was beautiful, simple, clean decor... the kitchen necessities were well stocked along with the gear needed for the pool/beach. Beds and all furniture was comfortable. Our kids loved the grounds too - pool was perfect, grass areas were fun for them to burn energy and we loved all the local birds on property.
Our favorite part was the view... one of the best views on the property!!!
We look forward to our next visit!

We are so thankful we finally made it back to Kauai! What an incredible place to stay. We went with our 4 year old and my husbands parents. The one bedroom had a twin pull out and en-suite bathroom which was perfect for us to have our space with our child and the other bedroom was also an en-suite for my in-laws. There are no units in front of this building which made for beautiful unobstructed views of Hanalei Bay from the main living space and both bedrooms. The kitchen had a variety of basic kitchen utensils for us to make some delicious meals. I highly recommend getting fresh fish from The Dolphin in Hanalei. The ground level was fun to watch the Nene, chickens/roosters and other birds running around. We enjoyed playing tennis and have the option of walking up to the pools or down to the beach. The shuttle came in handy when we weren’t up for the trek too! There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach bags, snorkels and tennis gear which made all of those activities super fun. We even swam with a couple turtles! We loved every minute of our 10 day vacation on Kauai! Thank you!

This large and elegant condo worked great for 2 couples - each bedroom has a full bath en suite. It's in the building closest to the bay, so nothing blocks the view directly down to the bay, with the sunsets just off to the right. Beautiful rainbows almost every morning, with geese and chickens checking out the guests from the lawn in front of the lanais. It's a longish walk uphill to the parking lot, but you can call for a golf cart ride from a friendly bellman. We walked down the long paved path to the bay-front beach, and called for a ride back up the hill with our gear.

We had a wonderful time at the Hanalei Bay Resort. We loved this location for our family. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen. There was great backstock of spices and oils for cooking. The second bedroom worked well for our 9 and 5 year old with one on the king size bed and the other on the pull out bed. There were boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach blankets, cooler bags, beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella for use in the closet. The condo was a walk from the pool and a big walk to the beach but this added to the relaxation, separation, and amazing views of this location. We saw rainbows every morning and had a wonderful time at the resort pool and beach. We will definitely return to the HBR and loved this condo!

This place had enough room for our family of five. On the corner, it was quiet and tucked away from other condos. The rooms were clean with breathtaking views of Ba Hali. I appreciated all the beach gear that our family could use when we visited nearby beaches. We had a wonderful time snorkeling and boogie boarding in Hanelai Bay! The washer and dryer was handy, too. My family loved swimming in the beautiful waterfall setting of the pool and hot tub. We had a wonderful getaway!
