Great view and beautiful resort. You can take a shuttle down to the beach which is convenient. Apartment was a little dated and the AC didn't work, other than that we had a great stay.

Loved the views from the balcony and all around the property. The resort itself is dated and needs some attention in several areas. The pool is dated, waterfalls not working, and a few other minor things that need attention. With that said, we would stay here again when we return to Kauai. You will not get views like this anywhere else. The waterfalls on the mountains are stunning and you cannot and watch them while sipping your coffee or Mai Tai. Our room was comfortable and offered everything we needed, mini kitchen, toaster, blender, washer, dryer, detergent, toiletries and a welcome gift basket. The decor is dated, but who cares! We were on the balcony or walking the property most of the day when on property. Mattress was comfortable.

Great location and grounds very well kept and top knotch. The unit needed cleaning and the A/C and fridge didnt work well but the view and area made up for it!!

Loved the resort and the North shore. Really a beautiful area of Kauai. The condo was clean & quiet. We mostly just used it as a home base for sleeping, and it was great for that. It was very nice having the a/c and the washer/dryer.

Beautiful Property. Rooms are a little bit dated. Be mindful of large hidden parking and resort fees not detailed in the bookings.

What you see in the pictures is what you get. Beautiful big patio with a breathtaking view! Inside living area is like the pictures as well. It is a little dated, but we were not expecting a newly renovated place. The location is perfect! 10 minute drive to town, right next to queens bath and an easy walk to the beach. The restaurant right next door was lovely. We enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks while watching the sunset. The reception staff was very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. I have to say it again, that patio view - WOW! Pour yourself a cup of coffee in the morning and just sit outside and relax!

The Hanalei Bay Resort staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pictures of the room are accurate. 3 Stars for cleanliness, as the room needed a deep clean. The management company was immediately responsive. I'm still waiting (2 weeks after check-out) for my security deposit, which I think is a bit excessive. Hopefully I will be credited soon. All in all, a 4 of a stay - thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hanalei Bay Resorts. This resort has been one of my favorites for many years: however, unit does need updating including ensuring AC unit is properly working. The resort’s hot tub spa was out of order during our stay. The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable but glasses in the unit were a little sticky.

It was a nice (very wet) three days. The location was convenient and right-sized for our short three day stay. The use of the kitchen for preparation space is sorely lacking, and the supply of decent glassware inadequate. in unit washer/dryer set a great help. Lovely views, quiet and relaxing location.

Such a beautiful resort and we loved the view from our room. Beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards are available for use. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit and the bed was comfortable. It's a walk to the nice beach but you can have the golf cart drive you up the hill if you don't want to walk back. The only non ideal thing was being able to hear our neighbors when they were in their kitchen because the sound proofing there at the shared unit door is minimal. We could hear every word. We also would have loved more light at night. There are floor lamps with shades but after dark they don't provide much light. All in all, this was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location bummer the hot tub was broken- we booked the room based on the idea that there was hot tub. However we made the best of it- great time in the restaurant east to access all our places. Would stay there again!

Location is beautiful, great views, wonderful beach just a short walk. Pool and tennis courts In good condition. Property has pool bar shut down, food service opens at 3 and no food allowed at pool. Unit is very dated but view was lovely and we appreciated the in unit washer and dryer since we had been traveling for a week when we arrived.
We arrived after posted check-in at 4:30 pm. Unit floor was soaking wet from being just mopped, there was accumulated wet debris and hair in corners by night stand tables. Disappointing but we rolled with it.
Overall would recommend the unit for view and location.
Only complaint is that the significant damage deposit was collected day of booking 8/13 for 10/23-26 stay and we didn’t receive damage deposit back until 11/9. Had to inquire a couple times before finally getting deposit returned.

This is a lovely property and well appointed. The view was amazing and the location is great. The pool and beach are quite nice.
We loved having the patio doors open, and first time visitors should be aware of the roosters crowing starting just before sunrise!!

This unit is old and it shows in everything. I could never cook a meal here, we had to make toast and coffee in bathroom due no counter space. You can’t even hang your clothes up.

This condo & the property are amazing! We spent so much of our time sitting on our balcony and watching helicopters, birds & chickens (of course). It’s also right next to the restaurant so you get some free live music most nights. It’s really quiet and right next to the parking lot for easy access. The beach is also fantastic! You are literally right on hanalei bay and can watch the surfers or walk down a short trail to be across the stream from the pier! Only negative is Princeville is a very ritzy, golf course, fancy resort area with not too many eating options nearby. You have to drive to almost everything and the HBR is at the very end of the road. Also not much else to walk to besides the beach and queens bath (very few restaurants/shops within walking distance). But if you want a quiet place with a beautiful view to relax, highly recommend!

Room was basic hotel style . Furniture dated . King bed was comfortable. Tiny kitchenette adequate . Included electric stove, microwave. , drip coffee maker. Provided cookies and candy. Shower was fair. Bathroom with ugly fluorescent lighting. Washer / dryer available in the closet was helpful to have. Provided 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards and a small beach cooler which were nice to use . Restaurant- lounge was decent with tasty glorified pub- grub and live music. Pool area was attractive but the pool itself cold and uninviting unless a hot day. Spa also attractive but quite small limited to 4 adults due to Covid concerns . Tennis courts available - did not use. Parking spaces outside buildings were plentiful. Resort itself is located in the middle of a community of single family homes up on the bluff. Need to drive to any beaches or shops in Princeville or Hanalei due to distance

My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous property on the north shore of Kauai and our minds were blown!!! We loved sitting on the balcony with a view of the napali coast and the town of hanalei and princeville were a blast to explore! The resort had excellent service and wonderful amenities, and the room had boogie boards, a coffee maker, and laundry for our convenience. We hope to be back!
