This place is remarkable! The listing does not communicate what a great place this is. It is a full-blown resort. The condo balcony is bigger than the photo shows. There is a microwave in addition to the small fridge and coffee pot listed. There are dishes to use, too. And, you are supplied with plenty of coffee!! The only thing I would add would be more hooks for hanging wet suits and towels, perhaps in the hallway leading to the lockout door to the rest of the condo. The wood floor was so beautiful and like all other places on the island, they don't want you drying stuff on the balcony. So, more hooks are needed. The property leads down to the beach on a completely paved path. And, if you don't want to walk it, you can request golf cart assistance. The pool is beautiful and so is the hot tub. There is one restaurant, but you can also use the ones at the resort at the end of the beach path. The lobby staff is so nice and friendly and so are the cart drivers. The walk from the parking lot is pretty far to this condo, but it was great exercise for us and you could request a cart if you wanted. If I ever go back to Kauai, this is hands-down where I am staying. And, if its not available, I'll change my dates or rent a different one there!!

This property is fantastic. It is an end unit with beautiful views of both the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai. The room shares a myriad of beach equipment with 2 other units on the floor, but there was never a shortage of stuff. We utilized the cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella,
and snorkel gear but they also have tennis stuff, various floaties, and stuff to play with at the beach. The room has a/c and is perfect for a shorter term stay since it does not have a kitchen, but it has coffee, a fridge, and some kitchen supplies that come in handy. They even had the fridge stocked with a few welcome drinks for when we arrived.
The resort itself is also very nice. There are 2 pools close by and a hot tub at the main pool. There are 8 tennis courts and this unit is close to a few of them. The unit is a short walk from the path that goes down to the beach. This beach is a smaller one but a great one to snorkel at and to enjoy a beach day. When we visited the hotel bar was open and has good drinks and food, but no drinks were allowed to go down to the pool. There was also a pizza place open on the property that had good pizza and sides.
Overall, this is definitely a unit we would return to again. It is as advertised, and it is a beautiful location and only 15-20 minutes to downtown Hanalei which has numerous food options.

This was our 3rd time to Kauai. We usually stay in Kapa’a but decided to look more towards Hanalei. The description matched the property to a T! The front staff at the resort was very friendly and accommodating. The amenities (pool, tennis courts, restaurants) were in good condition. Our 5yr old fit perfectly in the pullout bed and spent 2-3 hours per day in the pool.
We can’t even describe the beauty of the sunset over Hanalei Bay from the “sunset hill” on the property. The studio was clean and coffee bar was stocked for those morning sunrise sips. We will definitely be returning to this property next year or 2.

This spot was perfect for us and in our experience of Kauai, it doesn't really get any better than Hanalei Bay. Loved the access to coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and tennis equipment right at the condo. We would 100% stay here again!

We had such a wonderful time and very much enjoyed this condo. The view was breathtaking and we loved watching the sunrise over the Hanalei mountains from the bed and balcony. Highly recommend this property! The host we exceptional and went above and beyond to get us booked and ensure we enjoyed our stay. We had such a wonderful 5 year anniversary trip. We enjoyed staying at Laurie's place. This is an awesome unit to stay in because it affords the best views of Hanalei Bay. We slept with the blinds pulled back because who doesn't want to wake up to that incredible view every morning?! The place was very clean and we never lacked for any amenities.
If I had to give any criticism, I would suggest removing the hot tub from the amenities. I knew the hot tube was out of service because I read a bunch of reviews before I booked but that may be disappointing for others. That's the only reason I gave a 4/5 starts for accuracy of listing.
I would stay here again given the chance to return to Kauai!

The only (minor) downside I can think of is that the locked door between units didn't insulate for sound very well, so we ocassionally heard our neighbors. But that was no big deal.

The property itself was great. We had no issues it was very clean. The location was great. The bed was comfortable. The view was amazing from the deck. I think that the pictures are a little old because the patio furniture is different. It’s much more basic. You do need to take a golf cart or walk down to the beach. It’s a bit of a hike. But from sunrise to sunset you can have them drive you in the golf carts. It’s a complementary service. The beach had sand and was a little rocky like most of the beaches in Kauai but very swimable and the view was amazing. The resort did not have the hot tub working, and the swim up bar was not active, even though it was advertised on their website. So it seems like the resort is struggling a little bit , they also didn’t have one of the restaurants open. We would probably still consider staying here again. Just be aware that not all features advertised are available. The pool is not heated and was too cold to swim in when we were in March so we could not take advantage of that (we swam in the ocean and are not wimps but it seemd really cold!)
Only two very minor comments is that there is no place to plug in your phone to charge at the night stands and no place to hang wet clothes which is a common issue across all condos (except one that provided a folding drying rack which we loved). If you are not allowed to hang your clothes out on the railing because the condo association wants everything to look nice. Where are you supposed to hang it?

Wow! That’s all I can say about the stunning view from this property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Not only is the entire resort beautiful, but this condo is perfectly situated with a view of Hanalei Bay, and the jutting green mountains in the distance. There’s easy beach access you can walk to from the condo and the lovely town of Princeville is just a short 10 to 15 minute drive. Lots to do both at the resort and around town. Loved our stay. The owner has many thoughtful amenities for the guests. Especially loved the Keurig! Nicely decorated and clean! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay here. This unit fitted our desire to be ocean front with no obstructions. It's beautiful. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker. However, there is no sink in the kitchen area and you are required to do your dishes in the bathroom sink. Didn't bother us, as we ate out a lot and only had coffee cups and a few plates. Also, the unit that we stayed in didn't have the exact view as shown in the promo photos. We could see Bali Hai and more of the mountains. The window on the side of the unit provided beautiful morning light.

The views from this unit were not as advertised. We were very disappointed when we found out that the view from the unit was not a "spectacular view" stretching out to the open Pacific Ocean with Bali Hai in the distance as shown in the very first picture in the listing. Instead, the wall of the building obstructs most of the view shown in the first picture. Rather, the second picture accurately shows the view from the condo.
The owner has three units right next to each other in the same building that she lists as rentals on this site. The first picture in this listing is the view from her other two units (which, by the way, we would have loved to stay in) We are not sure why she included the first picture when advertising this particular unit.
After our stay we asked the owner to pull down this first picture from this listing because it is misleading. However, after a week she still has not. So we felt compelled to write this review in order to warn any potential renters who might be basing their decision on the first picture. We have stayed at many places with spectacular views of Bali Hai and this unit does not compare.

This property is on the Hanalei Bay Resort so make sure to be aware of the additional resort and parking fees. Also, any possible unit maintenance needs to be addressed with the private unit property manager. The resort maintenance will only refer you back to the property manager. (ours were MINOR) The views are awesome and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony each AM. Room is comfy and works for 2 for a shorter stay. FYI- VERY small closet space as it is half used for microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. There is no dishwasher for the dishes, so dishes have to cleaned in bathroom sink. For clarification, be aware that you cannot park nearby the unit which is a distance from the parking lot. You will have to rely on the golf cart bell clerks to take you to and from your car especially if you have things to carry or have trouble walking. Swim up bar and food at pool is closed infinitely. (disappointing). Staff at resort are polite and friendly.

We loved our stay!! It’s very private and the views were so wonderful. The bed was cozy and it had everything we needed. The resort is so pretty too and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hot tub had a sand bottom which was really unique and fun! Would definitely stay again.

Amenities are just a bonus. Clean room and the best building at the resort. We had breakfast at the patio on our last day and it was the perfect start to our next part of our trip.

This studio was perfectly located for our north shore stay! The view from the balcony was great - we saw so many rainbows. It's truly beautiful!
The room itself is smaller than I had expected. There was really not a lot of hanging space (the only reason why this was an issue for us is because we had our wedding attires with us). One other thing is that the swim up bar is no longer a thing, and the new restaurant doesn't open until 3 pm or so, and on Tuesdays they're closed.
We really enjoyed the location of the property, and had a wonderful time exploring the nearby beaches/restaurants.

Definitely take advantage of the Golf Cart room delivery from the parking lot as the room is located a ways from the parking lot. A couple of bucks goes a long way when returning from the Kalalau Trail with your pack! ;- )
Only thing that I would mention negatively is that there's a nice Keurig coffee maker in the room and it's stocked, but there's no coffee mugs.....lol go figure....which I though was odd since there's drinking glasses in the room. Owner might want to stock some coffee mugs in the room to enjoy the great coffee options. We bought mugs at the local grocery store.

The view of this unit cannot be beat. Waking up to that view is something my wife and I will remember forever. We absolutely loved the resort! From it's world-class pool to the Happy Talk Lounge - if we ever come back to the island we said we would only stay here. Laura was very helpful as well! We LOVED this place.

Amazing! This unit has such a spectacular view. The restort is so cool, swimming area is awesome, the restaurant has nightly live music. 10 minute drive to Hanalei which is such a cool, scenic town. All kinds of adventures are available to do within 10 minute drive. The host was great, check in very easy. Could not have been happier with this decision. I want to come back here annually and stay in this exact unit each time.

We love Hanalei and HRB especially. The unit we rented was like heaven. Very comfortable bed and a/c that worked! A real treat to have cold room to sleep in. Views of the bay, wildlife, beautiful grounds. We were especially happy with the beach gear and umbrella provided, thankful to not have to rent. Keurig in the room with a few pods to get us stated. We want to go back - looking forward to bringing family.

Having stayed at two of the three properties they each have Beautiful views of Hanalei Bay and the mountains . When you are out on the lanai it is a view to take in and will always remember. Each room is Big enough for a couple and with all of your needs. We have been back two times in one year and we will always continue to book at this location we love it .

Had a great time vacationing at this property! It was super clean when we arrived, the AC worked great, and the view was amazing everyday.
It was also located very close to the beach path which was nice. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay at the resort.
