5-star view of the ocean and great location in close proximity to beaches, restaurants, and shops. Decor and furniture were outdated. Master bathroom was smaller than expected and A/C in master bedroom was loud. There were no toiletries provided, so be sure to pack shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Easy check-out process. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This condo was incredible! From the moment you walk through the front door and see the ocean - breath taking! Doug & Candy were very responsive to any questions etc. We will definitely be staying here again if we are lucky enough to repeat this vacation!

Great view and location of condo. Our family loved the layout and accommodations. We left a couple of items behind and the Parrish team was wonderful to deal for getting it returned to us. Can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to staying there again!

Wonderful stay! The views from the balcony were even better than we expected! We did see whales spouting in the distance! This condo is in a great location for exploring the beautiful island Kauai. Both Poipu and Shipwreck beaches are an easy 15-20 minute walk away. Our favorite hike/walk along the cliffside heritage trail could be enjoyed right from our door! No need to go anywhere to enjoy gorgeous sunsets … the views are amazing from the condo property. Great communication from the property manager, Chad. Clean, well stocked condo. We would definitely recommend to others!

Such a lovely condo with everything we needed for a week long stay. Quiet corner location with great views, easy parking, well located. The king size bed was very comfortable, double bed was a less firm mattress, a bit on the soft side. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything needed for cooking. Lots of beach equipment - chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, noodles. Fans and AC so we were always comfortable. We loved the unit and location that was great for walking in either direction, including to Brennecke Beach (10 min), Poipu Beach Park (12 min), or Shipwreck Beach (20 min) and enjoyed use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club that has a huge indoor/outdoor gym, pool, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, tetherball, and more - and a great restaurant and bar. Would be great for families with kids, or for anyone wanting a full gym and activities. All in all a great and comfortable stay!

This ocean is your backyard in this beautiful condo! We enjoyed our stay, and being able to sit on the porch and watch the whales every day. The condo is a little older but has new appliances and bathrooms. There was some noise from the upstairs neighbors on some days, but mostly it was a quiet, serene slice of paradise. The property was clean and they provided everything you could want for a Hawaiian vacation; coolers, chairs, boogie boards, towels, and even books! The kitchen was very well stocked with a variety of appliances and utensils, and plenty of cookware, dishes, glasses, and cups. The property management was helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved this location! We spotted whales several of the days right from the balcony, enjoyed walking along the rocks in front of the property and spent some time at the pool. The location especially in the winter is great- more sun on the south side of the island. The condo itself really had everything we needed, plenty of towels, detergent, beach chairs, etc. I will say if you are looking for a big kitchen with a lot of space, this isn't the place but it worked great for us. Beds were a hit and miss- everyone has different tastes. Overall, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Chad was also great and easy to communicate with.

Yes, great washer and dryer. Very comfortable beds. Master bathroom had a lingering odor of pee. Shower and sink clean. Balcony was lovely when not too cold—it rains in the winter—or too hot when it was sunny. A/c was greatly appreciated by the family. Would have been nice to have curtains or shades in the family room when the sun was streaming in and out was too hot for the a/c even! The oven was broken and caused a big headache. Whenever we turned on the stove top, the broiler came on. Too hot! Host was very responsive but just couldn’t replace it for us. The inconvenience refund was appreciated but really caused us challenges to eat. Tossed out a lot of food unfortunately BBQ’s are nice but often busy at mealtime.

Ever since Covid, I’ve gotten used to being a little disappointed in what you get versus what people are selling online. This was such a wonderful exception! The communication, the cleanliness and views from the condo, the beach chairs, and towels available for use… I’m already looking at trying to return to this authentically terrific condo next year.The AC worked great- we had some user error at first as we learned the remote controls, but no problems once we figured out the system.

The condo was right on the ocean with the perfect view. We were able to watch whales and turtles feeding from the balcony. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked perfectly for a family ranging from age 24 to 85. The unit was a short walk to Shipwreck beach and to Poipu Beach with the turtles. We could not have asked for a better location and family experience.

The number one thing for this property is the view. Cannot get enough of the waves crashing into the lava rocks. Perfect angle for sunsets as well (late November). The communication has been better than any rental I have ever stayed at. I would give them an 11 out of 10 on this. The a/c can be confusing but they had an easy to read manual printed out, making it idiot proof. You can watch the waves easily from 2nd floor bedroom and open the window slats for crashing wave soundtrack. The only negatives - the parking can be pretty tight. We were always able to find a spot but sometimes it was a process getting into the space. The stairs could present a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. I was able to get our luggage up to the room but had to sit for a spell afterwards.

Family of 5, with 3 college age kids. This unit was amazing! 6 Stars!. Entry level with kitchen, 1/2 bath, laundry room, living room and balcony overlooking pool area and ocean. The condo contained all the necessities to make the entire trip extremely enjoyable for entire family. From extras like the beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, beach buggy/wagons, complete kitchen spices/sauces/coffee maker, etc., to even bug spray for hikes! This condo has everything you might have forgotten to bring (or didn't need to pack!).The mattresses, bedding, pillows were super comfortable with more pillows than we could use. Each room has ceiling fans with individual room AC controls. This was a plus as some like to sleep cold, and some not so much. They worked amazingly. All (3) bedrooms have separate controls, as well as the living room. Parking was great with plenty of spots available. Walk to condo from parking lot was close, with only 2 flights of stairs to 3rd floor condo with amazing views of ocean. We watched sunrises and sunsets from both condo area (chairs overlooking ocean), to Poipu beach and Shipwreck beach only 5 minute drive from condo. This is the southernmost point on island with the best views. Close to airport (25min), boat tours (25min), and about 1 hour drive to North Shore (Princeville) and trails to Napali coast (Awa'awapuhi trail). Had the most amazing week in Kauai, and this condo was best central location.

The view from this unit is amazing and we would definitely stay here again. My husband and I brought our 3 young adult children and a spouse. The 3 bedrooms with common area worked great. Air conditioning in each room was fantastic. Owner provided coffee pods got us started and basic condiments were greatly appreciated as we did some basic cooking at the unit. Bedrooms did not have room darkening shades which is just something to be aware of. If you want to lounge around a pool waterfront, this is not the choice for you. It was perfect for us as we loved the gorgeous ocean front hike right outside the door. Every day, we loaded up the provided chairs and towels and visited a different beach. The Poipu Athletic Club which was included in the stay is a fantastic club. It includes tennis, p-ball, classes (small fee), towels, equipment, machines, etc. There is a coffee shop right outside that is always hopping and a bar on site for drinks while hanging out at pool/courts. We had a small issue in the unit from the windy conditions. It was addressed immediately. Nicely done and great communitcation

Hosts were fantastic communicators and provided us with a detailed list of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The sound of the ocean and turtle watching from the balcony were amazing. The location cannot be beat - Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach are a close walk or drive and there are tons of excellent restaurants within 15 minutes from the condo.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We had the most beautiful view from the living room and the location was perfect for our day adventures whether it was a nice stroll to the local beaches or travel up the east side or the west side, and also very close to the airport. Had a good stay with our adult family of four but had a couple of concerns. The edges (nosings?) on the first set of stairs are either cracking or loose and you can feel them move when going up or down. The loft can stay fairly warm even with AC, we had to move a mattress into one of the bedrooms after the first night. ACs are dusty, not sure if they're being cleaned regularly. Some of the wall-mounted lights or hangers are broken or hanging by a thread. Single-ply toilet paper was a bit disappointing.Overall the place is great and has good amenities, is in a great location and central to many points of interests in Poipu. It could just use a bit of a deep clean, a couple cosmetic and functional updates, and a little TLC.

First, it was a good location and the condo is well stocked. We had a little bit of miscommunication with the rental management company as the photo in the listing clearly shows a third bed, but in reality that’s a mistake that they admitted to once we checked in and got us a aerobed, I have attached a picture of what was on the website and what it was in reality, which is really just a couch. A few other issues like the Safe didn’t work, It was already in the locked position. Never really got it resolved. The condo complex was a little run down, and the pool was so-so, but a big positive is as they offer you a pass to the Poipu health club, which has a great pool workout rooms, drinks, and food, it’s like 5-10min down the road by car.

Pros:The house has a beautiful view and is conveniently located close to everything. The pool club access is also a nice amenity.Cons:The house is older and in need of renovations. While the light fixtures and appliances were functional, many showed visible rust. Towels were worn and some were stained, and we found sand in the couch on arrival. Although housekeeping was sent, the issue was not fully resolved. The host was initially dismissive of our concerns, and while some resolutions were eventually offered, they were not handled in a timely manner. These details detracted from our overall experience and left us disappointed with the stay.

the view was spectacular but way too many steps and a maze to get into unit plus parking was challenging for our big suv.thank goodness we had A/C or could not have handled the heat but wall units are noisy - furniture needs to be cleaned and mattress in lower bedroom is awful! the owners were very attentive and provided great tips - there was broken window upstairs .and carpet needs replaced the unit itself was great for 6 adults just needs updating for the cost and disclose how difficult it is for older folks

Beautiful views and comfortable condo for us and our teen. Check in and communication were easy. Beds were comfortable. Condo is in a quiet location, so we appreciated that. Enjoyed the close proximity to nearby beaches and local shopping. Regarding parking and stairs- we parked a midsize SUV in the shaded lower level ok and figured out it was easier to walk back out to the garage ramp down some steps that led behind the pool/common area and then finished the steps down to the condo rather than using the enclosed stairwell. We saw several turtles while standing on the grassy area near the hedges. We saw folks down on lava rock but given the swells when we were there, I don’t particularly recommend that, so proceed with caution. Kitchen was well stocked but probably time to replace the non-stick cookware. We bought our own coffee bean grinder but to our surprise the kitchen had one for the serious coffee drinkers. This was a great stay.

The Condo was truly good but not great. I will try and offer honest and balanced feedback both for the benefit of the host and also for potential guests in the future.Positives: *The host, Chad, and on-Island support Keenan, were both very helpful and responsive. Extremely positive and great customer service.*Condo location and view were amazing.*Parking was easy and convenient*The pool, grilling area were both nice and as expected.*The unit included all as advertised in terms of supplies, dishware, in unit laundry and beach supplies.* Wifi and TVs/Entertainment all worked greatConsiderations:* Both the condo and unit have a lot of stairs (to get there and once inside) with no elevator option. Just be aware if you are traveling with someone who is mobility challenged.* The condo complex and unit are both a bit "dated." There is some "rusting" around windows on the paint and on drapes. The kitchen is okay but had elements which could use a "deep cleaning."Overall I feel it was very good stay and nice place which met our needs. If we had 6 again, I would consider staying again but if my group was less, I think I might look at some other places.I wish there was a way to give it 4.5 stars but I had to choose and it falls a bit short of "excellent."
