The view from this unit is amazing and we would definitely stay here again. My husband and I brought our 3 young adult children and a spouse. The 3 bedrooms with common area worked great. Air conditioning in each room was fantastic. Owner provided coffee pods got us started and basic condiments were greatly appreciated as we did some basic cooking at the unit. Bedrooms did not have room darkening shades which is just something to be aware of. If you want to lounge around a pool waterfront, this is not the choice for you. It was perfect for us as we loved the gorgeous ocean front hike right outside the door. Every day, we loaded up the provided chairs and towels and visited a different beach. The Poipu Athletic Club which was included in the stay is a fantastic club. It includes tennis, p-ball, classes (small fee), towels, equipment, machines, etc. There is a coffee shop right outside that is always hopping and a bar on site for drinks while hanging out at pool/courts. We had a small issue in the unit from the windy conditions. It was addressed immediately. Nicely done and great communitcation

Hosts were fantastic communicators and provided us with a detailed list of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The sound of the ocean and turtle watching from the balcony were amazing. The location cannot be beat - Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach are a close walk or drive and there are tons of excellent restaurants within 15 minutes from the condo.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We had the most beautiful view from the living room and the location was perfect for our day adventures whether it was a nice stroll to the local beaches or travel up the east side or the west side, and also very close to the airport. Had a good stay with our adult family of four but had a couple of concerns. The edges (nosings?) on the first set of stairs are either cracking or loose and you can feel them move when going up or down. The loft can stay fairly warm even with AC, we had to move a mattress into one of the bedrooms after the first night. ACs are dusty, not sure if they're being cleaned regularly. Some of the wall-mounted lights or hangers are broken or hanging by a thread. Single-ply toilet paper was a bit disappointing.Overall the place is great and has good amenities, is in a great location and central to many points of interests in Poipu. It could just use a bit of a deep clean, a couple cosmetic and functional updates, and a little TLC.

First, it was a good location and the condo is well stocked. We had a little bit of miscommunication with the rental management company as the photo in the listing clearly shows a third bed, but in reality that’s a mistake that they admitted to once we checked in and got us a aerobed, I have attached a picture of what was on the website and what it was in reality, which is really just a couch. A few other issues like the Safe didn’t work, It was already in the locked position. Never really got it resolved. The condo complex was a little run down, and the pool was so-so, but a big positive is as they offer you a pass to the Poipu health club, which has a great pool workout rooms, drinks, and food, it’s like 5-10min down the road by car.

Pros:The house has a beautiful view and is conveniently located close to everything. The pool club access is also a nice amenity.Cons:The house is older and in need of renovations. While the light fixtures and appliances were functional, many showed visible rust. Towels were worn and some were stained, and we found sand in the couch on arrival. Although housekeeping was sent, the issue was not fully resolved. The host was initially dismissive of our concerns, and while some resolutions were eventually offered, they were not handled in a timely manner. These details detracted from our overall experience and left us disappointed with the stay.

Beautiful views and comfortable condo for us and our teen. Check in and communication were easy. Beds were comfortable. Condo is in a quiet location, so we appreciated that. Enjoyed the close proximity to nearby beaches and local shopping. Regarding parking and stairs- we parked a midsize SUV in the shaded lower level ok and figured out it was easier to walk back out to the garage ramp down some steps that led behind the pool/common area and then finished the steps down to the condo rather than using the enclosed stairwell. We saw several turtles while standing on the grassy area near the hedges. We saw folks down on lava rock but given the swells when we were there, I don’t particularly recommend that, so proceed with caution. Kitchen was well stocked but probably time to replace the non-stick cookware. We bought our own coffee bean grinder but to our surprise the kitchen had one for the serious coffee drinkers. This was a great stay.

I will try and offer honest and balanced feedback both for the benefit of the host and also for potential guests in the future.Positives: *The host, Chad, and on-Island support Keenan, were both very helpful and responsive. Extremely positive and great customer service.*Condo location and view were amazing.*Parking was easy and convenient*The pool, grilling area were both nice and as expected.*The unit included all as advertised in terms of supplies, dishware, in unit laundry and beach supplies.* Wifi and TVs/Entertainment all worked greatConsiderations:* Both the condo and unit have a lot of stairs (to get there and once inside) with no elevator option. Just be aware if you are traveling with someone who is mobility challenged.* The condo complex and unit are both a bit "dated." There is some "rusting" around windows on the paint and on drapes. The kitchen is okay but had elements which could use a "deep cleaning."Overall I feel it was very good stay and nice place which met our needs. If we had 6 again, I would consider staying again but if my group was less, I think I might look at some other places.I wish there was a way to give it 4.5 stars but I had to choose and it falls a bit short of "excellent."

This condo was wonderful! The location is breathtaking. Truly magnificant to wake up every morning to the crashing waves and watch the sunset at night. This location is simply STUNNING! The owners thought of everything! From the Keurig coffee in stock, to dish detergent, laundry detergent, and a Brita pitcher were great attention to detail and little conveniences that made is extra nice. I really appreciated a variety of quality wine glasses, the high quality bedding, and the beach chairs and boogie boards for our use. With a quick walk to two different beaches, stunning views, close to golf, shopping, and restaurants, this condo is a perfect place.We often rent VRBOs on vacation and this one STANDS OUT as one of the VERY BEST! If in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with our 2 adult children (so 4 adults total) for 6 nights. Great location - easy access to several beaches and restaurants. We took advantage of the athletic club - very nice amenity. The bedrooms and living space were comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed (including some spices and cooking oil!) Although the lanai does not have room for a lounge chair, the views are absolutely stunning, and we saw many turtles every day, and we ate our meals and played games at the outdoor table every day. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards were available. There are also two very large coolers, large enough to pack a picnic for a day at the beach. One suggestion we had was it would have been nice to also have a smaller, easy-to-carry cooler for quick trips to the beach. Thanks for a great vacation!

As soon as we walked in the door, we were all in awe of the incredible views out the patio! If that wasn't enough, they left us the sweetest welcome package on the table with all kinds of amazing Hawaiian treats! We felt so loved and blessed! Our two older boys loved the loft bedroom where you could look right down into the ocean and hear the waves crashing on the lava rocks all night! The guest bedroom was decorated so adorably I almost wanted to stay in there with my husband. The girls loved that room! Our oldest loved the other loft beds and actually slept on the couch for part of the night to hear the waves crashing down below. We saw countless turtles swimming down below us and lots of dolphins in the distance. You could even see the blow hole from the patio. We ate delicious homemade breakfasts out on the gorgeous patio and easily fit our family of 7 around that table! Thank you for an incredible welcome to the islands and the most gorgeous views ever!

We spent a week and had a great time. We enjoyed being able to use all of the beach chairs, cooler, etc. while we visited. The condo is quiet and the pool is well maintained and beautiful. Of course, the view in the corner is gorgeous! You can look out from this condo and see the pool and the ocean.This condo is located close to several beaches and is centrally located so it doesn’t take too long to get to anywhere on the island. The grocery store is a short drive away to stock up on the essentials.I highly recommend staying in this condo when you visit Kauai!!

Cannot beat the location and amazing views. The lanai has two areas for relaxing and enjoying the views. It is a short walk to the beach and easy drive to many great restaurants, shopping and Koloa Town. Wonderful ocean breezes throughout the unit (no air conditioning). Noise was a factor with upstairs guests having a toddler and infant. Overall it is a very comfortable unit with a convenient location.

Our family spent a week at the condo. What drew me was the three bedrooms. I appreciated the loft with 3 beds. All of the beds were super comfortable. So many thoughtful items and fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Truly felt like home. The grounds are like a park. So many beautiful flowers. The pool and hot tub was a bonus. Loved the location. Walkable to Poipu beach and shops/eating. Communication was seamless. They have beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, a cooler…literally thought of everything. The view from the balcony is incredible. We enjoyed wonderful sunsets in the evening and saw numerous whales, dolphins and turtles during the day. You have an amazing view all the way down the coast, and you can even see the Spouting Horn in the distance. It is within walking distance of Poipu Beach where we saw the green turtles come up on the beach each evening. The inside of the condo was even nicer than what was shown in the photos. For instance, the online photos show a very old-fashioned TV so we were pleasantly surprised to see a modern Smart TV, instead. We were worried that the lack of air conditioning would be a problem, but we found a nice cool breeze came through the windows and we were comfortable. Occasionally the noise of the footsteps in the condo above us were annoying but not enough that it would deter us from returning for another visit. The property managers were very helpful when the condo complex had planned maintenance that would have impacted our visit. Although it was fairly easy to pick up and return the keys my preference would be a lockbox or secret code so that we would not have had to drive first to the management company to return the key when we were headed to the airport. However, this place was so wonderful we hope to return someday.

The description of this place did not disappoint in real life! The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks right below us, the ocean stretching out in front of massive living room windows, and the Lanai were absolutely stunning. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue trying to get in upon arrival and a couple days later when we continued to have a problem getting in. It didn't like the last 4 digits of my phone number. Once we all got in the same page everything great. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a few things that needed attention but nothing that would affect the quality of our stay. When you have a place Oceanside, especially as close as this place is, there are bound to be issues. Maintenance is nonstop from the salt water. I would rent this place every trip if my family wants to come back to Kauai. Having the plunge pool so close was a real benefit. The Popui Athletic Club really didn't thrill the Grandkids. If they were younger than teenagers,it would have been perfect. Thank you for having such a wonderful place to share! Plenty of room for 2 teenagers and three adults!
