Lovely well appointed home. Front porch with hammocks was a favorite. Mornings with bird song and many tropical plants surrounding. Master bedroom comfortable, beautiful and homey. Our only complaint was that there was little room for our luggage items and groceries. Every cabinet was full. We also had to move furniture pieces around to pull out the couch. No air conditioning, but no one seemed affected except for the room with two twin beds with limited air flow.

We loved the layout of the place. Was perfect for 4 people. Our favorite part was having our morning coffee and breakfast sitting outside on the lanai. Great location only 10 minute walk to beach and sea turtles. Had everything we needed. Would def stay here again!

This was far and away one of the best VRBO/rental experiences we’ve ever had. The location is PERFECT for easy beach access. Our daily sunrise walks to Shipwreck/Poipu/Brennecke’s beaches turned out to be a highlight for us - we saw seals, sea turtles, humpback whales, rainbows.. every day! The retreat itself was easy to access and we appreciated the designated parking and grill nearby. This is easily one of the best furnished and supplied stays. The kitchen was not lacking a single thing, lots of bath and beach towels, beach gear, etc. Beds were exceptionally comfortable with plenty of pillows. Modern washer/dryer felt like a true luxury. It’s obvious the owners spent a great deal of money and effort on the decor and furnishings that truly make it feel like a tropical retreat. Our favorite part was the breezy lanai and hammocks! Because of the nice seating area on the lanai, we hardly used the living room, making it much more convenient to use the pull-out couch in the that space as an additional bedroom area. The five of us had plenty of space. 1000% recommend.

The hosts, Jeremy and Kristen, are excellent….really better than excellent! From my first question to contacting them upon arrival, they always responded very quickly! The property is comfortable. We had everything we needed, although some items need replacing. Traveling from the Continental US, I wasn’t sure if there would be ample supplies but there was and we appreciated that. The rental was a little bit hard to find in the dark but we managed. Poipu Beach is definitely walkable if you are okay with hills which we all were. It’s about a 1/2 mile. The rental had all the necessary beach items as well. Pool was nice. There are grocery stores about 3 miles away. One bedroom/bath is downstairs and one bedroom/bath are upstairs. The area is very quiet. Also, there’s a dedicated parking space. With a little TLC this rental would definitely be 5 stars, but I would definitely rent here again!

If you want to hear the birds and roosters, swim in an uncrowded pool, cook your own meals when you want to and have a living room for kids to relax in, and are willing to sacrafice the waterfront view, and pay a reasonable price, then this place is for you.

This is the second time I have stayed in the complex, the previous stay was in the other half of the unit I stayed in previously. The whole feel of the unit is very upbeat and bright. The decor gives off a tropical feel. Very clean and comfortable. You must try the hanging hammock chairs, they are easier to get into than they appear. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook there, no need to go out for meals. I suggest going to the unit before grocery shopping, you will find many things left by previous guests. There is a local grocery store a few miles away in Koloa. Unless you want to shop Costco there is no need to leave the area.

This property was absolutely awesome. It was so quiet and serene. The crater has an amazing breeze that came through the whole place and we were never once too warm. The hamocks on the lani were awesome and i took a nap. The sounds of tropical birds surround you along with all of the beautiful plants. The place was so clean and everything you could imagine that you would need is there. It feels like home. This place is also directly across from the pool. We were there every day drinking coffee. There was hardly ever anyone there except for maintenance. The beds were super comfortable also. It was just perfect and we wld stay there absolutely on our next trip.

Poipu Crater is so full of greenery, flowers, birdsong and quiet privacy. And our unit 16 was economical and surrounded by the lush mature foliage. Inside the unit we had all convenience we needed for an enjoyable two week stay. And the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a real plus.

The location was very private and quiet, with easy access to the beach, local restaurants and attractions. We would have enjoyed better outdoor lighting when returning in the evening along the upper sidewalk.
The home was outfitted with everything you could need during your stay. The beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella on our day trips. We enjoyed the lanai every morning listening to the birds and rustle of the trees in the breeze. We also found the pool refreshing and surrounding area to be very clean. Destination Kauai was very communicative and we have recommended this location to our friends. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to the beautiful island of Kauai.

Our stay at this location was greatly enjoyed and one of our favorites out of the 4 places we stayed during our vacation to several of the Hawaiian Islands. It was a beautiful space located amongst tropical plants and flowers. We woke every morning to the birds and crowing rooster (but he didn't bother us, it was just part of the ambiance.) The ceiling fans along with the trade winds kept our time in the condo cool and comfortable. There was ample space for our group and we were more than relaxed and happy to end our evenings in such a nice space. The bed and pillows were soft and cozy, typically I have a difficult time sleeping when away from home, but not here, I slept soundly. I also enjoyed being able to walk to Poipu beach every morning during my stay, definitely a highlight of the area. I would recommend anyone staying at this location to arrive during daylight hours, at least initially, as it makes it easier to locate. We had a wonderful stay at this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Mahalo!

Great place to stay in Poipu! Condo had everything we needed - except A/C. I am sure it said it somewhere in the description but I missed it. It doesn't really cool down much, especially upstairs, so keep this in mind when booking.

We rented this unit for visiting family. The unit was spotless and well equipped, management company was easy to deal with, friendly, professional. A few repairs could be made but in general very good for the price. Decor is basic but the linens are very nice, fridge spotless, felt good. One issue was the key locker for opening the front door - I found it really tricky and difficult. Fortunately it was daylight when I first tried to open it - would have been very difficult at night because it's very dark at the Crater.

Enjoyed our stay! Loved the screened in porch for meals. Enjoyed sunset every evening at Po'ipu beach park a 5 minute walk. Great hike on the Heritage Trail to Secret Beach. We did day trips to Eleele and Hanapepe, Salt Beach Waimea and Kekaha beach. All in all a fantastic stay. Easy check-in and spacious house. Quiet neighborhood.

The condo was beautifully renovated. Updated and fully equipped kitchen. The deck was very private and large. Bedrooms had nice mattresses and linens (need pillow protectors though). No tv in lower bedroom. The wall between units was a bit thin as you could hear your neighbors.The condo complex was charming, clean, quiet. Nice pool that nobody used. Conveniently located.
