We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything worked properly, there were no safety issues, and the pictures are accurate. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The pool and pool deck was wonderful, and we loved chatting with other vacationers. We surprisingly saw whales and dolphins from the lanai, and several turtles were typically in the water just below the pool deck. The location was fantastic, halfway between (and within walking distance to either) Shipwreck Beach and Brennecke’s Beach. Don’t miss Lava Arch either! I think this is the first VRBO I have stayed at where everything went smoothly… I wish they were all managed this well! We hope to be repeat customers in a couple of years. Mahalo, Chad!

Doug and Candy were very quick to respond to our questions and called us back to make sure we did get their response. Views were outstanding from the condo and pool deck. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed.

We stayed from4/20-4/30/2026. This is our third year in a row staying in this complex and we keep returning bc of the views and generally we really enjoy the complex. This year we experienced some downsides in this unit. Positives: the view is perfect. We enjoy the pool even though it was closed for maintenance from 4/20-4/24. The grounds are well kept and the area is generally quiet and in very close proximity to Poipu beach. The condo is spacious for us and has the amenities that you would need. Washer and dryer were great to have and we appreciated having the detergent there.Negatives: the condo was not as clean as I would have liked. The walls looked like they needed a good scrubbing and there was food particles in the kitchen. When we arrived I looked in the kitchen to see what we had and it was well stocked. However, the drawer by the fridge had dropping in it from bugs. We found several large dead roaches and one was stuck to the pan we were going to use for breakfast. The drawer with the droppings seemed to be home for some of the live big roaches. We found ones in the silverware drawer as well. The day we left there was a half dead one on the kitchen counter. The front door has two doors…a solid one and one that has slats to let air in. The screen in the bottom portion was missing. I did reach out to property management during our stay and was told that the roaches are normal in Hawaii but we never experience this before!

Breathtaking!! Simply the most gorgeous spot! The condo and views were even better in person than online. Spotless, everything we needed, and the view was unbelievable from our balcony!The bed was sooo comfortable!There were other guests staying in the complex, but the only sounds we ever heard were waves and an occasional rooster:). We saw sea turtles every day and dolphins, as well as beautiful birds of all kinds.This was the perfect place for my family of 4. It was our first time to Hawaii and we stayed on 3 islands…this spot was by far our favorite! I cried when we left.Would recommend this condo over and over…I hope we are blessed enough to have the opportunity to visit again in the future.Thank you for an outstanding stay and experience!!

Unit 204 exceeded our every expectation. The views were even more stunning in person. The condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was only a short walk to beaches in either direction and an easy drive to Koloa and nearby shops and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and again and again ... .

My twin boys and I had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It had a magnificent ocean view, was a half mile walk to Poipu beach, the condo was exceptionally clean, the kitchen had everything you might need to cook any meal, the decor was lovely, beds comfy & having beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow was so nice. No ac but lots of ceiling fans and screened windows throughout the condo so we didn’t need it. Our host gave us a heads up about a slight detour to the condo from the airport due to construction & provided easy check-in instructions. The chocolates and coffee left for us made the welcome especially nice. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The view is spectacular, the condo kitchen/living room area is a nice size. I didn’t a lot of time on the deck listening to and watching the ocean. The condo was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and beach going and the pool is a nice added feature where we watched the turtles and an occasional whale while watching the sunset. We also used the shared BbQ. Great location and a lovely island. I can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful time staying here while visiting Kauai. The condo fit our needs perfectly and was located in a great area near the beach and numerous restaurants. The fact that we secured our return trip before we were half way through this one (Feb/Mar travel) should give you a clue about how special this space is! And that “special” starts with the hosts/owners. Doug and Candy were very responsive throughout the whole process - from reserving to arriving and beyond. Their care for the unit is evident in the very tastefully appointed and decorated space you will live in - while also being fully functional for cooking and general living. And with a 24/7 window to the ocean complemented by a very comfortable lanai for morning coffee, evening happy hour, or just a daytime nap - how can you go wrong? Whales, dolphins, and turtles are your neighbors! The unit is part of a “boutique” group of condos that reduces the stress of living in “crowds” while providing a nice plunge pool, sunning deck, shared grill (gas) space, and a general deck for evening sunsets. You are within a 15 minute walk of beaches, restaurants (formal and informal), and a farmer’s market and an easy drive to a host of other visits (from Koloa and Lawai to Waimea and Port Allen to Hanalei and Nepali - it’s Kauai - you can access any part of the island easily from here). We were not given enough characters to review this fully, but the bottom line is - take advantage of this space! It is a great place to truly understand the meaning of “aloha”. Whales, dolphins and turtles right from the balcony! We had a great stay in this comfy unit. Plunge pool was great and we enjoyed the amount of space we had. Parking was never a problem and the hosts were always quick to respond. We loved being so close to the beaches and even got to see a monk seal hanging out not too far down the road.

Great location on the southern coastline (no direct beach access) to watch the ocean crash onshore. Balcony was delightful to sit on and enjoy the morning birds visiting and sunsets. Just a short walk away is public access to the coastline for a gorgeous view of the sun rising. Condo is equipped for cooking and trips to the local beaches.

Amazing condo right on the coast of Poipu. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed utilizing the gas grills in the evenings. The public trail nearby was fabulous for sunset and morning walks along the coast, and Poipu was a convenient short walk as well. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and whale watching every morning! This location had all the convenient kitchen, bathroom, and miscellaneous (Binoculars, sunscreen, etc.) that we could've asked for. Can't wait to stay here again in the future!

This condo was amazing - views for days! We began each morning watching the whales play - turtles - and even dolphins one morning! We finished each day watching the sunset with more whales! So thankful for the binoculars they had in the condo ;-) We love Kauai and this was our first time we didn't stay at the Grand Hyatt. We loved our stay. We enjoyed being about equal walking distance between Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. We really enjoyed whale watching from our balcony via binoculars. I think we saw whale activity almost every day including a couple of breaches. We hope to return next year!

Location is ideal and the condo is postcard perfect. Once you step through the front door, you know you’re on vacation. The space is bright, spotless, and the set up was perfect for 3 adults. There are books, games and puzzles available plus lots of equipment for a day at the beach. The lanai is the ahhhmazing. Morning coffee with ocean breezes, evenings with watercolor sunsets. Cannot not say enough about how wonderful our stay was.

Seamless check-in process and prompt communication during stay. Condo was the end unit overlooking the Pacific! Beautiful views from the balcony. Even spotted whales from there multiple times during our stay! Perfect location, walkable to the nearby beaches. A couple restaurants and pop-up coffee shop walkable from the condo. We stayed here with our two kids 9 and 12. Would definitely stay again!!! Street parking out front was always available and super convenient entry to the rental.

Location was nice, host was responsive, but overall the condo was not very clean. We had to remove numerous cockroaches - dead and alive. We understand that this is part of tropical living but given the overall condition of the condo it felt like neglect. There was lots of dust and dirt under the bed and in the corners. The toilet in the master bedroom clogged with every use. We had to use a plunger on every flush. The stove top was unreadable. It felt like the condo was in need of updating and a deep clean.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Everything you might need for home cooked meals. The views were great and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai. It was a nice bonus to have access to boogie boards and chairs. Be aware the apartment is not air conditioned so it was sometimes uncomfortably warm even with all the fans on.

I was struck by how both the property manager and owner went out of their way to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The condo was immaculate with very comfortable seating inside and out and even more importantly, the bed was very comfortable. The picture doesn’t do it justice as you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee with an outstanding view of the ocean. It was wonderful to be greeted with candy and coffee to start out our holiday. Our first impression was not that great, as the unit was stuffy and smelled like cleaning solution. That quickly improved though once we opened up and the ocean breezes brought fresh air. The location is ideal along the south coast, just a short walk to Shipwreck and Poipu beaches. The deck and pool area overlook the crashing ocean waves. The kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the beach gear, including the snorkeling equipment. Overall, the unit could benefit from a deep cleaning and perhaps some updating, but the location, view, and deck/pool area made for a nice stay in Poipu.
