The condo was everything we expected and provide things we were not sure would be there e.g. beach chairs and towels, snorkeling gear. Location about 3/4 miles from beach was an easy drive and walkable if we were not carrying beach gear. Sighting whales from balcony 10 minutes after we arrived was a pleasant surprise

Our stay here was great. The property owners were highly communicative and responsive and clearly put effort into creating a lovely stay. All of the necessities were well stocked (kitchen items, shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, beach chairs and other beach equipment, etc.). The property is located within walking distance of two different beach areas and was within an easy drive to all of our planned activities. The large deck overlooking the ocean was a treat every morning and evening. Recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kauai. This place has a well stocked kitchen, great cross breeze through the bedrooms for sound sleeping and a lovely ocean view. We stayed at the Poipu Penthouse for two weeks. It is a lovely condo with pleasing decor, furnished very nicely. The beds were very comfortable. We were pleased with the host welcome gifts and really loved having a keurig for our morning coffee. The highlight was the gorgeous view overlooking a deck and pool and amazing ocean views. We saw so many whales and dolphins during our stay!! The neighborhood was wonderful for walking. If I have any caution for this property it is to consider that it is on a busy street and very noisy when trying to sleep. While that did bother our ability to sleep, it was worth it for the wonderful views!

We have stayed in Poipu many times. We were intrigued by the VRBO listing and it most definitely did not disappoint. The condo is beautifully done with spectacular views of the ocean. We took advantage of the lovely renovated deck where we would watch the sunset while the waves were hitting the rocks below. The location is perfect and feels more like a cozy family home than a resort. Our favorite spot was the lanai where we spent many hours reading and watching whales and dolphins frolic in the surf. This condo is in a good location near Poipu Beach, oceanfront property without beach access. Balcony is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Condo is well-equipped with a full kitchen, towels, beach chairs, etc. Two bedrooms with attached bathrooms works well for two couples or a family of four. There is a nice breeze that comes off the ocean, but the lack of air conditioning was an issue with the humidity. Pool had some debris in the bottom of it from wind and was not cleaned until our last day there. There is some outside noise with the windows open all night. Condo is showing some wear and could use a little TLC. Overall, it was a good( not great) place to stay.

Wow! What a beautiful placeā the location, the space, and the views were top notch. And the check-in/out experience was so easy!
We also appreciated the conveniences of having basic necessities stocked for us upon arrival such as dish soap, hand soap, TP, paper towels, coffee, etc. These details made a difference when we arrived late after a long flight.
The space is designed well and tastefully decorated. Views of the ocean are fantastic from inside and outsideā we saw whales almost every morning.

Ocean views were amazing. Great to see turtles swimming right from our lanai. Being 1 step up from pool level gave us a much better view of ocean. Communication with property management was easy when a lightbulb needed replacement. They even sent us a notification when a highway accident occurred to allow for extra travel time to get to our destination for the morning. Greatly appreciated. Hope to be back.

First, Iām not usually a reviewer but this place was too amazing not to share with everyone! From the moment we booked it communication was excellent.
We already knew from visiting Kauai before that this property was the BEST location and it was, tucked right in the middle of our 4 favorite beachesā¦Walking distance to everything! And Last but certainly not least the penthouse itself was the most beautiful place I think weāve ever stayed and we stay at beautiful places.
This place just checks all the boxes, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, itās beautiful, it has everything inside of it you could think ofā¦Truly every convenience they had it.
Possibly my favorite part was the breezes that circulate through this place. Itās wall to wall windows with a cool breeze around the clock.
And I need to just take a second to note the little things that make a BIG difference on a vacation - things like the silky soft bedding, was beyond any vacation rental weāve stayed at, - it was like staying in a five star hotel, with all the fun beach toys, stainless steal pots and pans, an airfryer, beautiful dishes, HUGE washer and dryer - things that made being away with my family easy and extra special!! Everything was so above and beyond in this place!!!
Lastly the lanai was just magnificent with truly the most gorgeous sunsets Iāve ever seen!
We had a few questions that came up and the owner was impressively quick with getting back to us.
We just got home and are already looking to rebook!

We had a lovely stay. Well appointed condo. Unfortunately we had some very stormy weather when we first arrived. We did cook a couple of dinners there. The kitchen has everything you need (although we couldnāt figure out the exhaust fan). The deck slopes a bit but great views. This is a convenient location. There is a closet with boogie boards, snorkeling gear, everything you need for a beach trip. The stairs didnāt bother me, I liked the view. Will definitely be back!

We had a really good time in our rental (Poipu Palms 204). The experience overall was great. The view right off the ocean was a million dollar view. The rental was small, but neat and not cluttered. We knew going in there would be no AC, but the fans and crosswinds made it work.
The rooms are very small. Much smaller than we had planned for. We were 3 adults and 1 toddler. The master was not big enough for us to have the toddler bed in, so we had to use the living room. It's not a knock on the space. More something to be aware of if you are in a similar situation to ours.
The one annoying thing was that the bathroom fans were not connected due to noise. It made for a bit of a humid environment after showers.
But, for a place to chill and soak in the sun and relax, this was perfect. Staff was friendly and easy to work with. Communicated and checked in more than once during our 6 day stay. Would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful apartment with breathtaking views of ocean! You can watch both the sunrise and set from the deck. Pool overlooks the ocean and is well maintained. The apartment itself is also clean and well maintained. Very modern appliances and everything you need to spend the week, cooking, laundry, dining, watching movies, etc. Located in the heart of Poipu with access to a coastal running/hiking trail and short walk to Poipu beach which has nightly sea turtles and sometimes monk seals I couldnāt recommend this place more. It will be difficult to find any place that compares this in the future.

Sea turtles were out swimming in front of the pool deck almost every day we were there. The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking, sleeping, and going to the beach! No air conditioning- lots of fans and sea breeze, so we were pretty comfortable during our stay. 2 flights of stairs up/down to the property- no issue for us, only hard to bring our luggage up! Otherwise so nice to just have a code to open and close the door! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Had three excellent nights at this unit. We generally don't spend much time at the rental while on vacation, but we loved the lanai and the pool deck to the point it made it hard to leave everyday. The interior was cozy and felt like home immediately. Great sunset views a short walk down the hill, generally stayed cool when the ceiling fans were on, lots of nearby shopping and eating. The sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks below every night might be the thing I miss most. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!

This property is very accurately described and photographed.
This was a very comfortable and nicely designed home with a wonderful ocean breeze. Clean, with fresh towels, washer/ dryer and all the amenities described. It has a spacious patio that we used every morning and every evening drinking our Kauai coffee. You can walk through the beautiful garden a few feet to the BBQ, the deck over looking the ocean (lots of turtles & stingray) and the pool area.
The property is located on the south end of the island close to: Poāipu Beach, Shipwreck Beach (3-5 minutes), and a few miles from National Botanical Gardens (10 minutes), Kauai Coffee Co(25 minutes), Kauai Plantation and Railrod & Luau (20 minutes).
Iād like to acknowledge the Parrish Management Company, managing the property for the owner. A few units had a plumbing issue on our last day. I called the emergency line, two very nice Parrish maintenance men came out after hours. The company came through for us, because the issue was a little bigger than anticipated. There will always be issues, but how a company comes through for the client is a true testament to taking care of āus the tourist.ā Our neighbors had a ādifferentā company and ended very differently (badly) for them.

When you're out and about in beautiful Poipu, it was always wonderful coming "home" to the beautiful ocean view to chill before your next activity. To just be able to see the beautiful ocean all day and hear it all night - will soothe every bit of stress out of your life. Highly recommend. Management extremely responsive - one fan was broken and Jeremy (name & number easily found in welcome binder) came shortly thereafter with a new one. Mahalo!
