Part of looking forward to a vacation is curiosity about a new living situation. This place was very nice and the pool facilities, beach equipment, landscaping and cleanliness of the entire grounds made our trip even more special, exceeding our expectations. The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking. Easy access to the pool and walking distance to everything, restaurants, shops, Poipu Beach, Little Fish Coffee etc. The only thing I noticed was an odd smell everytime we entered the Condo. I thought it smelled musty or moldy and my friend thought it smelled like radishes. Go figure. The sunsets and sunrises on the patio were breathtaking. Oh, the only thing it lacked was wash cloths, we could only find two. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you so much for making our 70th birthdays a memorable one.

We had a wonderful stay at Janice’s place in Poipu Beach. The home was very well stocked and had a great layout that allowed everyone in our group to have their own privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was excellent and conveniently close by. My older kids were able to walk to the beach in about 10 minutes, and there was a great shopping area within walking distance with restaurants and stores. Overall, it was a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing place to stay, and we would not hesitate to return again!

The unit was MUCH bigger than expected which was great since my daughter's family who stayed there included 3 teenagers. Very well appointed...it had everything needed. The beach chairs available for use was great...saved having to rent them or buy them. Great location by the pool. Also, with Poipu/Koloa being so small, a great central location within a few minutes of everywhere. Will stay there again.

The Jacuzzi was over 104 the first four nights we were at the pool- nobody could sit in the pool because it was so hot— the last night we were there The Pool Guy came and took the temperature and said it was 103-still too hot for a public Jacuzzi and kids

The location and the view of the room and its amenities were all great except for the fact that the air conditioning wasn't working for my stay. The property management company knew that the air conditioning wasn't working and said that there was a repair person coming on the day we were supposed to leave. They didn't communicate this with me during my stay. The property management company provided insufficient credit, and VRBO couldn't only provide a refund for service fees because payment was through a third party. While I like this unit and location, I would not recommend this Property Management company. I felt like they were telling me that it wasn't their fault that the air conditioning wasn't working even though they knew about it, and it was stressful for me and my family.

This was a great location for our family vacation! The home was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable. Spacious floor plan allowed everyone in our family to have their own space. The couch in the living room looks like it was recently replaced, actually nicer than what is shown in the current photo. Beach chairs and some other beach equipment were provided. Check in and out was smooth and our host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo and a very nice place to stay. It was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and well stocked with toiletries, kitchen utensils, and beach towels. Garage was great with snorkel gear, cooler, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach toys, and chairs. The property was quiet, and the grounds were lovely. The pool was large and not too crowded. The only downside was that the front bedroom did not have properly working AC, even though the rest of the condo stayed cool. There was a portable fan in the room, so I assume the issue was known. Two kids who slept there were somewhat uncomfortable.

Communication with this host was excellent. They anticipated the things we would need to know and reached out early and often. Parking, trash, directions for check in, etc were all very clear. A word of caution that Google Maps first took us to the golf course which is one turn too soon. It would be obvious during the day, but if you’re arriving when it’s dark, this can be a little confusing. The property was quiet, peaceful, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is large (3 people doing tasks can easily fit without trouble), well lighted and clean. Appliances are in great working condition and the cabinets are well stocked with dishes, mixing bowls, dining and cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. We also found a few staples (salt, pepper, cooking oil) which came in handy. Outside there are a number of chickens roaming around (like all of Kauai). Don’t feed them or they’ll quickly become a nuisance. You can hear some crowing in the distance in the early morning, and if you feed them, they’ll come closer. We could at times hear footsteps (sounded like kids running) of our upstairs neighbors but besides that has no issues with surrounding noise. It’s a family friendly place so this wasn’t unexpected. This unit boasts some nice features that make the stay extra convenient — a washer/dryer, connected garage, the trash/recycle bin is a few steps away from the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

Even though the complex is not on the beach, it is a short drive to several nice beaches (and even walkable for those wanting to get their steps in). The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and serving equipment, and has several beach amenities. This was a perfect place for a family vacation.

The unit was perfect for our family vacation. The lanai sits directly on the golf course and offers a wonderful view of the ocean. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with many cooking staples. Even though the complex is not on the beach there are several very nice beaches a short drive (or even walking distance) away. A favorite of ours was Poipu Beach with green sea turtles basking pm the sand. Beach chairs and other beach equipment is available with the unit. Highly recommend.

The location is ideal and the property was beautiful. The AC was not operating when we arrived, but was corrected the next morning promptly. We found a Mr Clean magic erase bar in the master sink when we arrived and a roach in the pantry, but nothing too concerning. We would stay here again as the management company was easy to contact. One of the smoke detectors kept going off, and after 3 times of it continuing, we called, and they gave a solution. The chickens looking in the sliding glass door window was a unique Kauai experience!

Extremely clean condo with everything we needed! The beach equipment in the garage was a huge bonus. Comfy sofas and great beds. The view is definitely from the back patio. The mornings are beautiful. It is further from the beach than we thought but we intentionally wanted to stay on the golf course after 5 days on the beach in Maui. Poipu is a great community! Shipwreck beach was our favorite!Overall a great experience.

Perfect place to explore the island. This was our second time staying at Pili Mai(we previously stayed at a different unit and needed more space this time). This was better than the listing. Very clean, very comfortable, and so spacious. Super easy check in and out. Ocean views from multiple rooms and will definitely stay again.
