Great place to stay on Kauai. Location was perfect for seeing the whole island. Plenty of space for our family. Loved that they had laundry detergent, stain spray (for the red dirt!), dish washer pods, plastic bags, spices, etc. Those things are never expected in VRBOs but so nice when they’re available! The pool and hot tub were great too!

The condo was perfect for our family. We had a beautiful view of the golf course and sunsets. Close to the bbq and the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. It was clean and bright. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms for everyone. Suite paradise is great to work with. We had problems with our flight and they gave us after hour check in instructions in case we didn’t make it during business hours. My family lives on Kauai and though Pili Mai in Poipu is a bit of a drive we love that area and will stay there every time we come.

Their communication was top-notch—professional, quick, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay.The Pool Scene: The pool area is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the perfect place to soak up the sun. Like any great resort, it gets lively and spirited with kids in the afternoons, which adds a fun energy to the atmosphere!Pro Tip for Sleepers: We’ve stayed at Pili Mai before in lower units. Just a heads-up: these buildings are designed in a way that you’ll hear footsteps from upstairs. If you’re a light sleeper or want total quiet, just keep that in mind—but honestly, it’s all part of the resort life!A Couple of SuggestionsWe spent a lot of time enjoying the fresh air, and we’d love to see the patio area get a little more TLC. The local chickens like to hang out there (classic Hawaii!), so the area and chair pads needed a bit of a scrub. We ended up hosing it down ourselves to keep it fresh. Adding a small outdoor table would also be a total game-changer for morning coffee!A Note on Our DepartureDue to an unexpected medical emergency, we had to check out a night early. While the contract is firm and no refund was offered, we would have loved to see a small gesture of flexibility.

We loved the pool, hot tub and all the amenities. It was the perfect spot for us to spread out and we were shocked at how much space the condo had. Our only concern was the cookware. It’s in very rough shape (extremely scratched, food sticks, light weight and wobbly while cooking, and unhealthy to continue being cooked in). We have loved our stays that have stainless steel pots and pans. They hold up and stay in the same shape time and time again. Thank you for the accommodation. We loved our stay overall!

Property was Beautiful and location ideal for exploring Poipu and Kōloa. Visited with my adult children and a 2year old granddaughter. Such a spacious unit, each of us enjoyed our own bedroomAnd bathroom! The pool was lovely and it was a terrific community to run and walk in. We were close to shops, restaurants, and even scheduled a spa day for the girls at Ko’a Ke’a Spa! The laundry was so helpful to have available. We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely and open living area - and would highly recommend this property for families, couples, the accommodations are perfect! Enjoyed the little goodies/gift left by the property management company. A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The Pili Mai is perfect location right in Poipu.Pros:Location to the beach. Short drive to haul all of your beach stuff down with ample parking at the public beach access. The beach was beautiful with great snorkeling spots. Both kids 5 and 8 tried snorkeling. Sea Turtles and Monks seals beach themselves during the day and it is amahzing to see them up close. The unit includes 4 beach chairs, cooler, 2 really nice upgraded boogie boards, and random sand toys and goggles/snorkel gear and fins that have been "donated".Starbucks is down the street. The unit also has the pool 20 feet from the front door, community grill as well as the work out facility. The pool is large and has ample seating with lounge chairs. A baby pool as well as a large hot tub.The unit itself was beautiful. It came fully equipped with anything that you could possibly need. Although we did not do alot of cooking other than quick sandwiches and breakfast we found that it was enough. The view from the kitchen table and the chickens in the morning was so fun. The beds are comfortable. I appreciated having the bath with a tub as well as the bath with the walk in shower. It also included a powder room which was nice for guests to visit or a quick bathroom stop before heading out to activities. The unit had two britta water filters in the fridge and an icemaker which was helpful. We would stay here again!

Condo was nice, had plenty of towels. Plenty of space for a family. They have a lot of rules and no information about area. The pool is very cold and the hot tub had 14 adults and 4 kids. So couldn’t use it. The air will not go below 73*. So I could not sleep too sticky. Condo is on the second floor so if you have a lot of luggage it’s a lot of stairs. Not beach front have to drive. There is a Sheraton hotel on the beach. But over all a nice place.

Let's start with the positives. Location, AWESOME! Condo layout, great. Pool, nice. Clean sheets and working appliances, YES! But it wouldn't be fair to the property managers and travelers to not give the reasons why this is rated so low. Clean sheets and towels are where it ended as far as the cleanliness. The property is beautiful and even when we first entered the condo, it seemed nice. Once we started using the condo we found lots of reasons to ask for our cleaning fee back (it was graciously denied). Food left, dusty, spills on the floor and walls (one under the toilet paper holder, yuck), and broken items (shades, drawers, toilet seat) They do seem like they are fixing things, they fixed the rotted outside railings while we were there and came and fixed the toilet seat within two days. I don't mind well used at all, but the place needs to be clean.Then the chickens. We have visited Kauai seven times and have never been kept up from the roosters. Timmy, roosts in the tree outside the bedroom and wakes up everyday between 3:00-4:00 a.m. and does not stop until mid morning when he moves about the property. This is EVERYDAY. Not ideal when you are trying to have a restful vacation. Seriously, chicken napping was considered. I have never given such a low review, but when a client let's you know that the property details don't match what it presented online, you make it right. That way I know that you will do better for the next guest. Hope this was helpful.

Beautiful, spacious condo in an excellent Koloa location. The unit was very quiet, spotlessly clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the abundance of extra blankets and pillows, as well as both bath and beach towels. In many places we’ve stayed, only one towel per person was provided, including for the beach, but that was not the case here, which was a huge plus. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to restaurants and Starbucks, and about a 15-minute walk to stunning beaches. The host’s communication was excellent. Friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this condo and would absolutely stay here again. 10/10!

Communication was great throughout our entire stay. The home was clean and a perfect place in Poipu. Pool was a little chilly this time of year, but the hot tub was pretty big and made up for it. The best part was the detached garage - it had everything: boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, umbrella, and snorkel gear.

Everything was fine. Couple of things to point out. We told/ texted the manager that when we arrived we saw that the bathroom window in the upstairs bathroom was broken. The large screen door that goes out onto the Lanai continually came off its track and we would put it on. It. Probably needs adjusting of some kind. Otherwise this is the second time we have stayed in this particular unit and we love it!

This condo has beautiful Bosch appliances, high-end pots, pans and cutlery, slide-out garbages, etc. There is a very functional laundry area with a variety of supplies, including vacuum attachments, a hanging bar, and extra detergent if needed. All of these amenities make a longer condo stay more comfortable since the kitchen is so well-equipped and you don't have to bring as many clothes. The only negative was that while the deck overlooked a beautiful golf course, it was postage-stamp size, and its railing was high enough so that it was a challenge to enjoy the view. Furthermore, the designated parking stall for this property is across the courtyard from the unit and not convenient for hauling groceries and supplies. Questions to the property managers were not answered promptly and maintenance people did not show up when expected.
