Having two main ensuites at opposite ends of the condo was excellent. The “two twins” bedroom has a bathroom just outside its door and is also well spaced from the other two bedrooms. Nicely appointed, comfortable furniture and beds. Quick drive to many restaurants and Poipu beach . Nice pool. A minor negative: It is right on the main entrance drive.

Lovely 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom condo. Very clean. It also had a welcome gift. What a nice touch! Perfect for families although I stayed with 2 other couples. I liked that we all had our own bathrooms to use. It had more than enough room for the 6 of us and I liked that it was single story. Our other friends stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 story Pili Mai condo and the living room space seemed smaller than the our single story. Pool / BBQ area also really nice. Didn’t get a chance to use it his time but would definitely plan to if I visit Kauai again. The only issue I have is that the reaort area road is so dark. There are no street lights when you turn off the main road. Even on Pili Mai property, there is barely any light.

First, the positive points: lovely comfortable condo, street level, short walk to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The pool was great!Bed is super comfortable. Areas for improvement - negatives:the view from the patio is of the parking lot Attached walls allow noise from above and this occurred regularly every morning and evening. Televisions not always reliable, contacted guest services and was tokd there was no technical support, however, when I called a second time a few days later, I was told there was technical support but he couldn't come until morning.

The condo was great, stocked with what we needed. There were 6 beach towels, a hard cooler and 4 beach chairs as well. The area was quiet and the pool and hot tub were nice to use. The property is near the Poipu shopping center which offers many good restaurants and shops. It is also near two other shopping centers. It is within walking distance of beaches if you want a nice a stroll. Parking was easily found if you go to the beach early. I would definitely stay here again.

It's difficult when booking a stay online to truly understand what you have until you arrive. With our stay at Pila Mai, one word...Perfection. Perfectly located in Kauai on the south shore with easy access to beaches, walking distance to the shops and our fav Little Fish Coffee. The unit was clean and was well laid out with two bedrooms on the main floor and two on the second floor. Great kitchen with everything we needed to cook. A great little area with its own pool/fitness area just 20 steps away. communal bbq's which we used to cook the fish we caught. I slept better here than i do at home, we truly could not have asked for anything better in a place to house our family of 8. We had two vehicles and never had any parking issues. From utensils, to spices, to sunscreen, to towels, to beach chairs, to boogie boards, sand toys for my granddaughter, welcoming gifts...this rental made our stay easy and comfortable. When i return to Kauai, there is no doubt we would come back to this VRBO.

We stayed for two weeks in this condo with four adults and a child. We found the property management company to be easy to communicate with and felt they were responsive. The condo is beautiful and had everything we needed. In particular, the kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with all you need to cook a great meal. It was handy to have an in-unit washer and dryer, as well as three bathrooms. The pool area was really nice and the little wading pool for the kids was an extra bonus for us. The condo location is excellent. Close to restaurants, shops, and the beach, although we did drive to the beach. If it is just adults, it is an easy 15 minute walk but for a family it is a bit too far with little ones. Overall, we hope to be back again one day!

We had an amazing stay at this Vrbo in Kauai! The home exceeded our expectations in every way—it was spacious, comfortable, and fit all seven of us, including two children, with ease. The location was perfect, just a short drive to Poipu Beach, and the kids especially loved the swimming pool. This 3 bdr., 3 bath had an excellent setup for 3 couples with 3 very separate spaces for the bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay. The first night we checked in and went to bed at 1 AM local time (But, 5:00 AM our time) and the rooster crowing 10 feet from our balcony was NOT at all welcome at 7 am. Once we got acclimatized and I wore my ear plugs, and we often got up at 7:30ish, it wasn't quite so bad. The house was well setup with supplies (dishwashers plugs, w/d detergent, toilet paper, some spices, etc). The TVs had LOTS of Great TV Channel options. We were there for 14 nights and the beds were very comfortable. It's roughly a 5 minute walk to the Poipu Shopping Village. and no more than 15 minutes walk to the Kiahuna Beach. Very short walk to Paco's Taco's for happy hour at the Golf Course right beside the resort. I would definitely like to encourage the island's government to at least make it legal to shoot the darn chickens -- very annoying!

There wasn’t a thing that we needed that was not provided—super comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, great beach supplies including towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and boogie boards (although the boogie boards were not in good shape ). And, of course, the fact that it was on Kauai made it simply amazing!!!

The home needs maintenance. The master bathroom has two sinks, one is cracked so it is out of order with a non working faucet. The upstairs toilet wont flush unless you take the tank lid off put your hand in the tank and flush it manually. The master bedroom carpets are dirty so is the grout in the master bath. The upholstered bench in the master is dirty or stained. The outdoor furniture on the porch is so dirty we would get dirty sitting on it. The interior walls are marred and scuffed I am sure from people banging their luggage up the stairs. The Pros- clean linens and towels and kitchen and ceramic floors (except master bath), nice size space, nice kitchen amenities but missing leftover container or foil or plastic wrap or a way to contain leftovers on a plate or bowl. Nice washer and dryer, nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards to use. It suited our needs, wished it were spruced up and maybe another tv for the upstairs. Loved using free netflix Thanks.

The general property was well cared for, pool & gym were nice and 1/2 mi to shops, restaurants and beach. The condo had comfortable beds and basic kitchen supplies and setup. However, the living room furniture and bean bag style cushions were very weary, uncomfortable and not conducive for watching TV or relaxing. The dining room seat cushions were stained and looked dirty as did the bean bag covers. A frying pan had not been cleaned well, the kitchen faucet was loose and wobbly on arrival and the coasters had clearly not been cleaned for some time. We made it work because we were gone most days but would not rent that unit again.

First entering the unit,the key code was not working, after several attempts through Vacasa trying different codes we used a key from a combo box they had at the property cleanliness was ok, one wall looked like they forgot to clean it, food,dirt etc. the showers have black mold in them, maybe time to clean and seal them?The wurst part was the unit directly above us,POUNDING footsteps from adults and children at all hours, EVERY DAY. It is also and end unit which was a plus. Perfect location in Kauai and very close to everything. The host reached out ahead of our arrival asking if we wanted the two twin beds in one of the bedrooms converted to a King bed (which we did). That was very nice. The condo is thoughtfully appointed with a fully stocked kitchen. Most places will just have the basics and cheap plastic dishes. This kitchen had all the appliances you would have in your home and plenty of dishware so you didn’t have to dishes after every meal. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We did find the pool to be cold even though it’s heated, but the families that used it didn’t seem to mind! The only drawback was the family that rented the unit above us. They were a large group with several teenage boys and very noisy. Constant stomping as they walked and what sounded like dragging furniture across the floors. That is a risk in any main floor unit I guess, but we’d happily stay here again (and hope for better renters above us)!
