Great support from property management! Keep the sliding door screen closed as the mosquitoes will bug you. Our unit had beach stuff for the kiddos and the kitchen had plenty of stuff to get what you need from the stores to eat in the place.

The place was just as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect in the complex. We were very pleased and will certainly return. The only drawback was less than stellar Wifi, but we were in Hawaii, so we got over that emotional distress in about two seconds.

This property was a home away from home. With 2 adults and 5 teenagers, this home fit us comfortably with room to spare. They paid attention to the little things that would be needed on a trip. From blow dryers, coffee filters, extra blankets and beach toys it made this trip enjoyable with little stress. We used the kitchen quite a bit and every need was available.The location was also a plus with just a 5 min drive to Poipu beach and my kids walked to a shopping village one morning with ease. The weather was beautful but gets warm so bring thw sunscreen. My only complaint was we didn't stay longer.

This is the perfect place to stay if traveling with a large family group! The rooms were all a good size and had everything we needed and more. They had extra blankets and pillows available for each room. They had Tupperware available as well as numerous different cooking supplies and spices for the days when we stayed in to eat. The best part is how kid friendly it was. They had a high chair and pack n play for infants as well as a step stool and potty seat toddlers. Everything was clean and the access to amenities was exactly what we needed. Any time I had questions the hosts responded quickly and thoroughly. We look forward to renting from them again next time we venture to Kauai!

The Pili Mai development is quite the hidden gem in Poipu. It’s a modern complex of condos that’s tastefully designed and well landscaped. Our family enjoyed the amenities including the pool and lounge areas. It’s also centrally located with a quick drive to Poipu Beach, which we loved.Unit 1C was a fantastic choice for our family of four. Plenty of space and beds for everyone, with a modern kitchen and dining area. We also found the in unit washer and dryer very helpful and the beach and snorkel equipment in garage a nice addition.We caught quite a few memorable sunrises from the east facing balcony, which had a lovely view of the open and wild landscape. We preferred this over the manicured view of a golf course.Couple of things to note-a) This second floor unit’s 3 bedroom, the one with the two single beds, does not get much of the AC cooling compared to the rest and the condo. So both the ceiling and floor fans stayed on the whole night for our kids.b) Communication with the management company could be improved. The texting line was helpful but responses were delayed and no one conveyed their name.c) Maintenance and service was scheduled in our unit without prior notice so we woke up to a crew wanting entry. We just didn’t feel comfortable and didn’t want adjust our schedule and need for rest.Notwithstanding- we enjoyed our stay and time in Kauai and look forward to returning to Pili Mai in the future.

Great location, so helpful to have laundry on site. Added bonus is the pool toys, snorkel masks and beach chairs! They even had a high chair and pack and play ready for us. Would definitely recommend to those traveling with kiddos.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was set up perfect for our families. The beds were so comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. I can’t wait to come back. 3 my favorite part was sitting on the lanai every morning with coffee, watching the sun rise and hearing the roosters crow.

We had a very good stay at Pili Mai at Poipu #07K. The unit is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained.What really stood out was how well equipped the apartment is, especially the kitchen, which had almost everything we needed.The space is practical and works very well for a family. The complex itself is quiet and easy to access, with no unnecessary complications.During our stay, the pool area was under construction; however, it was still technically usable.This is a solid, well-run property that delivers exactly what it promises, without surprises or frustration.

This property was in the perfect location. There were lots of thoughtful amenities (ample soaps, toilet paper, hooks, a well stocked kitchen.) The extensive HOA rules were a bit stressful and it was disappointing the hot tub was “under construction” (mostly just looked like the HOA didn’t want vacationers in the hot tub).

Loved this condo! It was clean, had all the amenities we could have asked for. Kitchen was fully stocked, it had laundry detergent, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, garage, access to lots of barbecues, portable crib, ac worked great! Loved everything about it! We had a great experience staying at the Pili Mai Condo. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, the kitchen was nice. It was nice to have a garage. It was on the smaller size so a large SUV or Truck won't fit. The A/C was great. The back balcony view was nice. The washer/dryer was nice to have. The Hot Tub was shut down unfortunately which was a serious bummer but that was probably out of the control of the property owner. It was in great proximity to very nice beaches. Over-all it was a great experience.

We had a lovely time at this condo. Great location, easy arrival and departure, friendly staff, and nice accommodations. Plenty of beach equipment and amenities around the house. We are cooks and had the minimum needed cookware. Bbq is in a common space, but grills were clean. Pool was nice, but jacuzzi was under reconstruction when we were there. Thanks for the hospitality. The management company was great and very accommodating.

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 and we would definitely stay here again. With three sleeping areas, including the bed in the loft, each of our teens had their own space which was great. Plenty of beach gear in the garage - umbrellas, chairs, etc. Kitchen was well equipped and house was very clean. We even had a (partial) ocean view from the balcony and upstairs bedroom. Great snorkeling at nearby Poipu Beach, a short drive away, and lots of dining and shopping nearby as well. Had an issue with the oven but they brought over a toaster oven for us to use instead, which worked for us.

The unit was very comfortable, quiet and well maintained. Plenty of towels, TP, soaps, and laundry detergent. Kitchen was minimally stocked and adequate. Not enough serving bowls, no hot pads, nor dish ware for kid use. The pool area was clean but during the two weeks we were there the kiddie pool and the hot tub were under renovation making the pool side seating limited in size and number of loungers.Conveniently located to shopping and travel to other parts of the island. We would stay here again.

The hot tub and kiddie pool were out of commission for maintenance which was our only disappointment as we were looking forward to those amenities. The place was great for 6 adults and 4 children (ages 9-12). Nice open floor plan, all 3 full size baths had dual sinks which was great. Location was great. Beds were comfortable. They had 10 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and 8 beach towels which was great. The property manager always responded very quickly and handled issues right away. The only issues we had was the ice maker seemed to work intermittently (property manager sent over ice right away) and one evening the water completely shut off but they handled it right away as well. The pool was open but there was construction so hot tubs were not available. Would have been nice to know about that. We did spend most of our time at the beaches so this was not a huge deal.

Unit was very clean and great location /close to poipu beach. Unit was as advertised and super easy check in. Unit was pretty warm at night with A/C set higher than we would’ve liked but we expect that in Hawaii where electric rates are high. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order (or under renovations) at the facility but we were at the beach most of the time so it didn’t interfere with anything. All in all a fun trip on our first visit to Kaua’i.
