The location was near everything we planned on doing during our stay. There was also some places to eat, do some shopping, and a general store - all within a 10 minute walk. The beach was also walking distance but would take around 20 minutes. A car is still recommended to get around to other locations on the island.
The property was as advertised, clean with all working amenities. It was located in the corner so we didn't hear the roosters too much. This property does have neighbors, so be aware that there are people underneath and around you.
Management had great communication with us and was very nice. If we needed anything they responded quickly and would accommodate if possible.
Will definitely be considering this location for our next stay.

We were very happy when we entered the condo. Housekeeping was still at work as previous renters left quite a mess. Condo is spacious, beautiful kitchen. Then we opened the curtain to the lanai. We were very disappointed as it looked nothing like the pictures. View is of a black construction fence maybe 10' tall. Construction starts at 8AM and continues all day. The cushions are basically flat so there is nowhere comfortable to sit. Various spills on the floor made it even less appealing. I know construction issues are not their fault, but what a disappointment on vacation. The living room furniture was less than comfortable. Most comfortable chairs are around the kitchen table. We had an issue that our request to make up the twin beds to a king was overlooked, however that was taken care of pleasantly and quickly with just a phone call. Many grills throughout the property are very well maintained as are the grounds and amenities. I would stay here again but perhaps another unit away from the construction area--they are building condos so this will probably be an issue for some time. Management company was very nice to deal with. All in all though we had a wonderful time and love Poipu!

We enjoyed staying at the Pili Mai Condo. We did have children age 4 climb on the dresser in the twin beds bedroom. They were trapped under the dresser. I injured my back trying to lift the dresser. You might want to bolt the dresser to the floor.

Great place . Beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. Nice location...of course you need a car ( well, maybe not so much if you want to walk around to the beach and Koloa ). Great condo and condo complex. Very quiet, except for the chickens, and private. Nice pool and exercise room. Outdoor grills and eating areas everywhere. The unit was well equipped and comfortable with a nice kitchen and good bedrooms and baths. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great place for our family vacation! There was tons of room for everyone, and the extras(beach chairs, cooler, etc) was great to have for our daily adventures around the island! This is the second time we have stayed at Pili Mai and we love this location! The condo was beautiful and very well equipped. The pool and hot tub were great! Clean and well taken care of. The only small complaint I have is not being able to get into the workout room until the pool opened. We like to get up early and get a work out in before we start the day. Other than that, great place to stay and will most likely always book at Pili Mai while in Kauai!

The home was very nice. Location is good. Beds was too soft- very uncomfortable. The bed topper needs to come off. Bring your own coffee and tea. It would be nice if the kitchen have condiments. It only have salt and pepper. We left vegetable oils, honey and ground coffee for those after us can use them.

Very spacious and only minutes yo Poipu Beach and shops. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and made it easy for preparing meals. We really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai for afternoon tea. We would love to come back and stay here again. Mahalo!

This condo is in the perfect location. I was hesitant to book originally because it’s not oceanfront but upon our arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see the ocean peaking out from the front door balcony. The property is quiet and serene and within short distance of food and beaches. The pool is just a few steps away and a relaxing way to end a busy day at the beach. The condo itself was spacious and well equipped. We used the provided beach chairs and boogie boards daily, though the boogie boards are in need of replacing.The housekeeping could use some improvement. Upon our arrival the stove was covered in grease splatters and the microwave pretty gross as well. The TV had finger prints and smears as noted by previous renters. I contacted the rental company, who was quick to respond and sent a housekeeper the next morning. It wasn’t perfect but it was better. One other thing to note is the room with the 2 twin beds could use a fresh coat of paint as well as a wipe down of the walls in the common areas. There are black smudges on the walls throughout- I suspect dirty tiny hands and feet. Couches might be close to needing replaced as well. It’s definitely well used and not “new” as described but overall we still enjoyed our stay.

We had such a great time and the condo was better than described. It was very clean and had all the amenities you might need on site. The garage was great for parking the rental car and they even had beach items for us to use. We would highly recommend this property. We will definitely book with them again. Thank you to Shannon for processing our security deposit refund quickly. The only thing need to improve is the cleanliness. This condo was super spacious and had all the amenities, from the beach chairs and boogie boards to the Instapot and tea kettle. The BBQs and pool are right across from this building so it was super convenient to cook dinner while the kids played in the pool. We definitely recommend this unit for anyone with a family or lots of friends.

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Spacious, clean, super comfortable and extremely well equipped. We really appreciated the extras like plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and sand toys. Lots of bathroom towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful location. We were able to go for fun morning walks to the Kukuiula shopping center through gorgeous neighborhoods for coffee. Also could walk to Poipu beach. Would most definitely stay here again!

This is a perfect place for your next family vacation. The only thing was the check in details were never provided but the housekeeping let us in the property. The property is as promised and a short drive to local beaches and a gorgeous pool and workout room on the property. A walk to the beach is about 20-30 minutes and there are restaurants and shopping nearby. You can't go wrong with the location close to the beach and in a quiet area.

Thia was an awesome place to stay. We were a group of three couples celebrating our recent retirements. The place was immaculately clean and cared for. This is a three bedroom, three bath second floor apartment. The appliances are new. The lanai on the back was shaded all day and we found ourselves out there in the mornings and evening visiting over coffee and drinks. The neighborhood is quiet, and the pool/hot tub were a great treat at the end of the day. We were there in early February and the weather was awesome and the whale sightings plentiful. Soft sand beaches were close and inviting. My rating, 10/10.

This was wonderful, exactly what the pictures looked like! The location was great, so close to everything we had scheduled and wanted to do, including the beach!! The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed and wanted, especially the kitchen as we ate in quite a bit. The pool and gym were very close to the unit and were used quite often. Everything was spacious and plenty of room for 6 adults! The only drawback was the size of the bed in the 3rd bedroom as we would have preferred another king bed but we knew this in advance.

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful stay here. The unit was located in the perfect spot on the property (close to the pool and grills but far enough away to not hear the noise if lots of kids were playing in the pool). Walking distance to restaurants and close to the beaches. The unit was well stocked with beach towels and toys (lots of chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and sand toys). Only missing thing would be a beach umbrella.
The kitchen was well stocked with pots/ pans, silverware, cups, grilling utensils. If you plan on cooking, you’ll need to grab oil, seasonings, etc. Great washing machine and dryer.
Some of the precheck in instructions were a little confusing. Received information on paying resort fees, which weren’t applicable to this property.
There is a small garage (that can fit one compact car) and a second assigned parking spot that can accommodate larger cars.
It was a great place to spend 9 nights. Would highly recommend this rental!
