This was a great place for our family to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for everything we had planned and the manager was helpful in everything we needed. We utilized the beach gear and boogie boards and enjoyed the pool and gym. We would definitely stay here again.

Staying a Pili Mai was really convenient. Our vacation home was spacious, had all the amenities & the best location. Being a Pili Mai made everything so easy. Close to some of the best places in town. We will be recommending this place and coming back again!

The condo was beautiful and perfect for our overnight stay! It was conveniently located to shops and places to eat within walking distance. The only downside we encountered was we left a couple items behind on accident and I texted and called but never heard anything back.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. There were a few glitches along the way that caused us some disappointment but was reported each time to the property management of Pili Mai at Poipu 1C. We were without WiFi access and did not know the garage code for Sat 7/8 and Sun7/9 as we could not find the information sheet. When we reached out to management on Mon 7/9, they told us it was mounted on the wall. We thought it was a handbook we should be looking for. We had WiFi for 2 days, then the tv and WiFi stopped working on Wed 7/12 and we also noted that a closet door hinge was loose and could not be opened/closed properly. We contacted management and was told a handyman would come the next day Thurs 7/13 between 10 am- 2 pm. But when we came back from golfing, the closet door hinges remained broken. We reported this to management again on Fri 7/14 and was told that the handyman probably was not able to fix it. Management sent a housekeeper over to address the WiFi and TV that was not functioning that Friday afternoon so the WiFi and TV became operational for that afternoon but TV could only work through access with our mobile phone. The next day Sat 7/15 was our departure day. It wasn't all negative. We enjoyed the condo and its amenities. We're avid golfers so it was great to wake up to a view of the golf course. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue of not having WiFi and garage access for 2 days, tv and WiFi that malfunctioned mid-week and a closet door that had broken hinges which did not get fixed while we were there. We would come back again to Pili Mai but hope that things will go smoother next time. Going forward, it would be nice to mention the location of the informational form so it's easy to locate and everything should be in working order before the next occupant checks in. Mahalo nui loa!

LIKED: Safe, quiet and clean golf community. Enjoyed the accessiblity to the golf course. Since it's a community of residential condomiums, you would need a rental vehicle to get around. With a rental vehicle, it's easy to get to the shopping, dining, cultural venues.
DID NOT LIKE: Was not informed where the information list of the condo was located when we checked in. We were looking for a booklet. Hence we had no WiFi and no garage access for Saturday 7/8 and Sunday 7/9 until we reached out to them for the WiFi password and the garage code. Had to call the property management/host to find out where the form was which was a piece of laminated paper on the wall. Then we lost WiFi signal for 2 days in the master bedroom and found one of the closet doors' hinges was lose so the closet door was not properly set on its frame. Contacted the property management Wed 7/12 and was told a handyman would come Thurs 7/13 to take care of the maintenance issue. The handyman never showed up and no communication with us as to why he didn't come. WiFi access was still not fixed. Had to contact management again to address this Fri 7/14. They sent a housekeeper over and then the smart TV worked but only through the phone. We checked out Sat 7/15.

It's amazing that they supply soup, kitchen supplies, shampoo, even have ziplock. Amazing. It was a very nice touch with my beautiful gift bag with chocolates and other things, Mahalo much for that. I will recommend anyone to stay here it's beautiful and amazing. Parking is great.

This condo was so nice and clean with updated furniture and appliances. Everything we needed was provided, and communication was very easy with the management company. They had beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow. It would’ve been nice to have a beach umbrella to borrow but it was not a big deal. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, had everything we needed, including toilet paper, paper towels, and ziplock bags! Blender was awesome for smoothies! Great beds and used all the beach stuff in the garage...very helpful! Two things...I would upgrade your umbrellas to a better quality one...these were too flimsy to be used in the breezes there. Also when it comes time to change out your living room furniture, I would get a sectional so more people could be comfortable. While your side chairs look nice in pics, they aren’t comfy. Our A/C went out the last two days and they were quick to get someone out to fix. Great location with shops and beaches very close by. Excellent stay! Thanks!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely condo. The location was great for our group and central to activities all over the island. The layout and set up of the bedrooms and bathrooms was fantastic for our group. The pool was a favorite with our kids and the beach equipment was phenomenal. It included snorkel gear, a cooler, boogie boards, a wagon to carry the gear and more. The property managers were very responsive and timely in addressing the issue we had with the air conditioning unit and promptly resolved the issue for us.
We had a wonderful stay and loved staying at this condo.
When back in Kauai we will stay here again!

Family of 4, first time to Kauai. The Condo was beautiful, set up was great, we will definitely stay there again. The only thing I would change is to provide a little more direction to the guest during check in and check out. The “info sheet” sheet was a little hidden, we didn’t stumble across it until day 3, which provides the garage code and other important information. There was also zero direction on a checklist of things that need to be done prior to checkout.

WOW!! By far the best vacation rental we've stayed at! Immaculate and exquisitely decorated with high end furnishings. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked with every appliance and gadget you could possibly need. Generous open floorplan allowed everyone to have privacy given the layout of bedrooms & baths. Having a garage was a nice addition and it came loaded with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys, boogie boards and even some snorkel gear! Great location as Poipu Beach, one of the best beaches on the island, is just a short walk or drive away! Restaurants (yes, you've gotta try a Puka Dog ;-), shopping, golfing and even a local grocery store are all within 5 minutes away. Check-in and communication with property manager was seamless. We loved our stay and without a doubt will stay at Pili Mai 1C again!

Such a beautiful, immaculate condo, with upscale furnishings and decor, and kitchen amenities included any types of pots, dishes, and storage containers you could ever need! A nice touch was a gift basket on the island to greet us with chocolate covered macadamian nuts and Kaua'i cookies guava shortbread. The beach chairs and beach mats in the garage and the cooler for our usage and were all super convenient! The beach towels provided also saved a lot of suitcase space since we didn't have to bring our own. The pool area was also close enough to walk and was so relaxing when we had a full day and didn't want to head to the beach. The view of palm trees and mountains from the lanai was amazing, especially at sunrise and the table was large enough to enjoy a couple family meals. I could go on and on with positive comments, but in summary, this was the best VRBO rental we've ever stayed in! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The condo is conveniently located to all of the great South side beaches, shopping, and athletic center. The layout of the condo worked great for our family of four. The bedding and furniture were very comfortable. We also appreciated the well appointed kitchen.

Upon arrival there were several issues, no hot water, freezer didn’t work and many bugs in unit. The rental company was very responsive and took care of issues fairly quick. However if unit was inspected before our arrival I feel many of the issues would have been noticed. The next day they delivered a new freezer, a few days later the exterminator came, unfortunately the hot water was never really hot just like warm. The unit was clean and well equipped. Constructive feedback would be to swap full size bed room with twin room so a couple could have a private bath and children in twin beds use common hallway bath.
