We love our stay in Lihue. The location was ideal for seeing all of the island while we were there. The place was clean, and beds were comfortable. Plenty of fans to keep you cool being there is no AC. It was also very quite (with the exception of the rosters that are everywhere on the island) and very close to a beautiful part of Lydgate beach with very few people if anyone on it or you can drive a very short distance to Lydgate park where they have a great place to snorkel for beginners. It was nice to have a cooler and ice packs to take with us on our day trips. And a beach umbrella and boogie boards to use at the beach. We would recommend this place and would stay here again. This was exactly as described, and we had a terrific time. The bed in really comfortable. We kept the hose on hand to discourage the chickens that wanted to join us on the lanai or even in the unit. This is a fact of life on Kauai.It is a great location, with ocean views and a wonderful walking path to the nearby park and golf course areas, all along the ocean. The only thing we wished we had was some sort of floaties for the pool and maybe a few more spices like garlic and Old Bay in the kitchen.

My mother and I had a wonderful time. This condo was lovely with spectacular views, a comfortable bed and living room area, and a fully stocked kitchen. There was good use of fans throughout the house and a nice breeze that came through. I was concerned about air conditioning, but it was not a problem. We also really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that were provided by the host. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. We had to call maintenance one day to fix a closet door, and the property manager had great communication, was very timely in their response, and sent someone to fix the problem quickly. Overall, they were really aware of anything we needed. We highly recommend this wonderful place for your stay in Kauai.

This home was absolutely perfect for our stay! Even better than the pictures showed- beautifully decorated with high end products like Pottery Barn, Tommy Bahama, and Dyson. This unit had the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in vacation rental! I really couldn’t have asked for a better appointed kitchen to cook anything we needed to. The unit was very clean, so comfortable, and just perfect for us. Absolutely incredible view that the pictures barely captured!! The location was convenient to all of the stores, excursions, and shops we wanted to visit. We were able to walk to the beach and next door to play frisbee golf. My only complaint was there was no way to lock or bolt the front door- ZERO lock on the handle or inside. This was honestly shocking considering how thoughtful the rest of the condo was done. The only thing keeping people from walking in was a key pad on the outside of the door. Please bring along your own locking mechanism from Amazon because this is not safe- in fact after we checked in and were getting settled a woman walked right in the front door and into the kitchen to look at a few things, which scared my kids and me (there was no knock or anything that was said), so we kept a chair wedged up against the door when we were home. Everything else was perfect and I would love to stay here again, but it is very shocking to me that there is no lock on the inside of the door!

This condo was just as described. The view was wonderful! We could see the ocean and the pool. We felt very safe there. It was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked. There is no A/C, but several fans were provided which really helped cool it down at night. The property grounds were very beautiful. Loved the walking path down to Lydgate park. We could see the sunrise right from the property. Gorgeous and worth waking up for! The Communication was great. Check in and out were easy. I would definitely recommend this place. I would stay here again.

You’ll swap central air for "nature’s AC" (the trade winds) and the occasional local rooster alarm clock, but the authentic, low-key vibe and front-row ocean views made it easy to truly unpack and settle into island time. Wonderful vacation for a family of four with two small children. Clean, comfortable, great communication, easy check in process. The lawn area right outside the back porch is ideal for lounging with ocean views while the kids run around. Nice beach just a short walk away and a little further away is Lydgate beach which is perfect for children as there are rock enclosed calm waters and a park with playsets. We would love to return!

The view was fantastic and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The furniture in the living space was not very comfortable and unfortunately we were there during the 2 weeks of of the Kona Low storm so we spent more time indoors than anticipated. There were a couple glitches in the kitchen, a missing knob that made it hard to open a cupboard door, and outlets that didn't work, but that was taken care of toot-sweet. I do feel that when spending almost two weeks in the unit, a one time linen/towel exchange would have been included. Also, we had stayed at Kaha Lani in November and were not aware that this unit was run by a different company so there was no beach towel exchange. Just an FYI for anyone who might be returning to the property but trying out a different unit.

This condo was everything and more than we expected! Oceanfront to see the sunrise every morning! Oceanfront, cement walking trail and beach were in pristine condition. Well kept area. Loved that it was a quiet area all around from the condos, pool and beach. Pool was clean and comfortable. The location is spot on right in between Princeville and the southern/western coast. The condo itself was perfect for 4. Could have had 2 more and still been comfortable. Bedrooms are on one end with kitchen on the other so it was quiet for those still sleeping. Easy to get anywhere on the island from here. We highly recommend this property!

Location, location, location! A quick 10 min drive from the airport, and the unit overlooks the ocean. A walking trail takes you to a lifeguarded beach, and a nearby hotel offers a luau and outdoor restaurant. Other shopping, restaurants are a short drive. The unit is a bit dated and neglected, especially the BRs and bathrooms. Newer kitchen cabinets and appliances were nice, and the cooking supplies and dishes were good. The pool and outdoor common areas were very nice—well-manicured and beautiful. We were told this unit was on the market for sale so I suspect a new owner with a little investment could make this unit a real jewel.

Peaceful perfection! This was a spectacular experience from start to finish! The condo is lovely, the view from the Lanai is unbelievably beautiful (gorgeous sunrises) and the walking path is right out of your door. Plus, more often than not, we had the heated pool to ourselves. Lydgate Beach is only a hop, skip and a jump away!We cannot say enough about our hosts - they were responsive, accommodating, thoughtful and very kind - we would give them more stars if we could! Communication was fabulous from start to finish. The condo is simply lovely, well appointed and has absolutely everything you might need for your stay. From binoculars for whale watching off of the lanai and fresh flowers on the table, to every possible kitchen gadget/dish/pan, an ice-maker in the freezer, tissues, TP, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap, bath soap, fans, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach bags, coolers, snorkels/masks/fins, boogie boards, beach towels, sand towels...simply everything you can think of!On a side note, our flight to Kauai was due in late and Terry & Allen were so kind as to leave us coffee, fresh fruit, and a coffee cake for breakfast. Unbeknownst to us, Kauai was experiencing some unusually stormy weather and in anticipation they had everything we might need should there be issues - flashlights, batteries, a weather radio, etc. Thankfully, we didn't need any of these items, but they had the foresight and kindness to make sure we were prepared, nonetheless.

The unit was very clean although the kitchen cupboard shelf liners would leave some ‘lava’ dust on your fingers if you touched them. This was to be expected with the 24/7 breeze blowing through you are going to have dust/dirt. We also thought from photos that we would have a clearer/direct view of the ocean when we were behind the end unit with the direct view but it was still a really great unit.

What an amazing place to stay! This place had literally everything you could possibly need (except for A/C of course). I did buy a tower fan as soon as I landed in Kauai, for the condo, and I’m glad I did. This place had all the kitchen appliances you could need, so we ended up cooking most of our meals and prepping lunches for the day. I would recommend bringing a power strip too, there weren’t many easily accessible outlets (nothing to stress over though). Honestly, if you’re okay without having A/C, I would highly recommend staying here. My girlfriend and I loved it.
