Overall the property was great. Wonderful views and quiet. Every night we were able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. We would recommend updating the showerhead, as it is pretty old and squeals loudly the entire time you are showering. We did have an issue with the washer lid where it wouldn't lock so it had to be held down in order to run a load of laundry. We notified maintenance, but they weren't able to get someone out to fix it - I wish they could have as it was pretty inconvenient. They did offer to let us use another unit's machine.

The property was exactly as the photos show. Very nicely remodeled. Convenient location. Easy to access the main road around the island from the condo. There is no immediate access to the beach, but there are access paths a short walk away. The views are stunning. Our only complaint would be that the air conditioner unit in the bedroom is noisy. There are ceiling fans and the ocean breeze is delightful.

I write long reviews because I like READING other long reviews--if you are into a short review, this is EXACTLY as advertised; no surprises; squeaky clean and very comfortable. Now, for the longer review: We've stayed along the Coconut Coast multiple times--this is a great location for going just about anyware. Most of the alternative ocean-front options are hotel rooms with mini-fridges and microwaves--this is a real condo with a REAL kitchen. Once we figured out that the sidewalk was actually the beach-front bike/walking path, we realized how easy it was to get to the other beaches. If you are into sunsets, this is the wrong side of the island, but spectacular sunrises can be had with a short walk toward the bay. Note the A/C only cools the bedroom (I think the listing says that) and the host has the most incredible welcome-note with great directions. If you are even a moderate walker, plenty of restaurants. Only negative I can think of is the Paradise Bakery directly across from the parking lot--the malasada are absolutely addictive, so be prepared to walk off the calories--and the line forms early. Great experience overall!

We stayed here during our visit to Kauai and I recommend the stayThe communication was mostly good. Pre booking and during the stay. There were minimal delay in response. Checking in was mostly fine. The property was good. The views were amazing. The apartment had washer dryer microwave TV etc. Overall a family must be happy here Just note The apartment did not have elevator in case you have leg pain make a note but then I think first floor so it's okay The slight odd thing I observed was floors seemed a bit sticky.Overall not a luxurious property but then a decent one with a great beach view Price point I think it was okay tooOverall good.

This condo was perfect for our Kauai trip. The view is stunning and we were able to see turtles almost every day. The location is also great for many activities like going to a Luau, kayaking to Secret Falls, and is also walking distance to the Coconut Market Place. Host was very responsive, making the check in and out process really easy. Room looked exactly like in the photos. But I wish the sofa bed was thick and that the attachments were not rusted. So whoever stays on the sofa bed may be a little uncomfortable, but everything else was clean and lovely. Also appreciated that the unit we were staying in has a washer and dryer for my clothes! You get a great view of the ocean and a visit from the local chickens which makes for a lively time.

An absolutely fantastic experience!Communications from the host were very specific concerning parking and check in. They also were very responsive to text messaging concerning check-in.The condo was adorable and very clean. The mobile AC units in the condo worked great as well. The one thing that we were concerned about before getting to the condo were the views from previous reviews of the area. Some of the photos made it look like the beach was either very dark or just not very inviting, but some others were beautiful. We found out when we got there, having never been to Kauai, is that the weather changes rather quickly that on the island but the vast majority of the time it was absolutely beautiful. The views were outstanding, especially in the morningswe would absolutely 100% stay here again and I would highly recommend it.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Wailua Bay View condo! The view out on the lanai was amazing, I enjoyed my coffee out there every morning. We did notice mosquitos at night, so bug spray is a great addition to bring. The location was great, it was at the halfway mark to the north shore and the south shore, with only about 10 minutes to the airport. Communication with the host was excellent, they answered my questions quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

This condo was amazing!! Everything was perfect from the decorations, the view, the location and the bed was extremely comfy. I slept great every night. Highly recommend. There is a marketplace within walking distance that we used frequently. Restaurants, shops and a market with food made fresh to order. Farmers market was there on Thursday and some entertainment- check the schedule for Coconut Marketplace activities. Enjoy!

The good: spectacular views of the ocean, very private, everything in good condition, lots of kitchen gadgets and dishes, supplies provided by the host and previous guests, quiet pool with mostly adults. Great experience working with the host.The less good: AC was 2 window units and noisy, especially in the bedroom, and had difficulty keeping the place cool. The waves drowned out the traffic noise on the balcony, but not at the pool or common areas.Overall: excellent value if you are OK with some AC noise and traffic noise.

Amazing unit exactly as advertised! Hosts are extremely communicative and made everything as smooth as possible. The lanai is beautiful and we looked forward to sitting outside with our coffee every morning and a drink each evening. The location is central to many restaurants and great recommendations from the host and it is also relatively central to the rest of the island. The unit is also stocked with beach towels, chairs and umbrellas which were very useful as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Location was so convenient to everything. North shore was a short day trip, even with sight-seeing sidetracks. South shore was even closer. Condo was clean, comfy, and well-equipped. We loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean, wind surfers, and kite surfers. The pool was fabulous, and we often had the whole thing to ourselves.Roosters do crow all night, but are hardly noticeable with the AC on. Owners also considerately left ear plugs next to the bed! We will definitely stay here again.

But found one at Walmart in Lahui. Problem solved! Left it there for future guests. Absolutely loved sitting on the lanai looking at the amazing view while having breakfast and planning our days.Shayne had lots of good recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do.

Lovely place, the Ocean view is outstanding. Really nice being able to use screen doors to Ocean and sleep to the sound of the waves. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of enminities, but micowave is not intuitive.Walking distance to Kintaro (excellent Japanese restaurant), and Passion Bakery (quite known for their Malasadas - Portuguese doughnuts), and several other eateries. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice East side location. Very nice views. While its not far from the main road, you don't hear traffic over the ocean. Close to nice walking path along the ocean. Washer & dryer in the unit. The minor downsides are that its showing its age and the AC in the bedroom is a window AC style unit that is pretty loud. Overall a very good bang for the buck location- especially with the view.

Amazing view and close to a lot of fun things, including restaurants and beach clubs. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom that was a life saver. Be careful if u close the slider to patio, it will lock u out. Luckily my wife was inside lol. The pool was great and rarely had anyone using it. Bbq's were very nice for Happy hour and dinner.
