Great view. Very well kept place. Really appreciate the host recommendations of what to possibly do on the island. This really helped us plan our activities which were great. Communication was stress free with host. Even though we did not use them having snorkel gear available if needed was appreciated. We ended up doing a snorkel "cruise". Excellent stay, from easy check in to check out. This condo is quite with excellent views. Bonus was the bathrooms with soaps & hair products. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for cooking including spices. The location is central to both the north & south sides of the island. This is our 3rd time staying at Wialua Bay View and we love it there. Great access to different parts of the island, grocery and other shopping, and wonderful surf views and sounds! Being on the 3rd floor meant quiet neighbors but be prepared for a non-stop wave soundscape! The apartment met all of our needs and was nicely appointed with kitchen necessities and beach basics. It’s also convenient to have the outdoor grill option for home-prepared meals. The pool is warm and provided a nice relaxing break in the evening.Passion Cafe across the street has delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Napali Brewery was also a nice walkable dinner and drink option with good live music.

This location worked great for exploring different parts of the island, and having such a beautiful view was very special. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and even some extra items that came in very handy, like ice packs for our cooler. There is some traffic noise in the bedroom, if you’re sensitive to that. Overall, we had a great stay and we’d recommend!

We loved the condo. The view was amazing and the location was outstanding. We arrived not feeling well and spent more time in the condo than anticipated; I can’t imagine a better place to recuperate!!! The supplies were ample, the kitchen appliances were relatively new and excellent, and the counters and sink strategically placed for cooking and cleaning with a view. Great tv options. And the outdoor seating was perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable. I read numerous reviews prior to booking this condo and can easily dismiss some comments. There were no homeless people only families and surfers enjoying the neighboring beach. They were fun to watch as they surfed and enjoyed the water. One had to crane your neck to see the abandoned building next door; it did not attract visitors. And the constant sound of the surf and beauty kept one’s attention focused in that direction…not on neighboring roads. This condo unit is so much closer to the ocean/bay than other accommodations and offers expansive views!! We are definitely returning!

This property is ideal for your stay on Kaua’i! Perfect location, for easy travel to the north and south part of the island. Shayne was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The condo was immaculate. It was exactly as pictured and listed on VRBO! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and more to make meals in the condo. We loved waking up every morning to the beautiful beach & ocean view! I think the view is better in person than the picture online. It’s a perfect way to relax on the lanai. Very easy access to the beach. Beach chairs, towels, and beach toys were provided for us to use. We loved the week we spent there and were sad to go! We will definitely be back. Everything was great, only one issue. Headboard needs to be mounted to the wall or to the bed frame. Every time you roll over it makes a banging sound. Other than that, amazing views and amazing time. Pool is great, location was perfect. Great times.

All the provided amenities were exceptional, from all the condiments, kitchen prep stuff, beach and pool toys and chairs, even backpacks, hiking poles, and snorkel stuff. Super comfy bed and having an in unit washer and dryer was definitely a plus. Condo complex was well maintained and the pool area with grills was great. Local property manager/cleaner was super helpful and extremely nice. Location was great right off the beach and the deck was a great place to chill and watch the ocean. Could not imagine a better rental in Kauai and we loved our stay would definitely come back.

We enjoyed staying at this condo. It had a southern view of the Wailua Bay area and was a great location for splitting up day visits to the northern and the southern parts of the island. My wife has limited mobility and this condo worked well for us. It will not work for someone that is constrained to a wheelchair but for someone that can walk some, it works well. The condo is on the 1st floor and has 2 steps to get up to the main walkway and then 3 steps to get up to the condo itself. There was an accessible parking spot just outside the condo door so the walk to the condo was only about 40 feet away from the car. The shower does not have a grab bar, but it does have a corner seat at the back. Unfortunately, the entrance to the shower is in the back and it does not have a door so you cannot tilt the spray head to reach you if you need to be seated for your shower. Tilting the head would allow water to soak outside the shower area and onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise, the shower is nicely done.The condo had a buggy board, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, float noodles etc. I wish I had found the binoculars before our last day. Furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The condo is adjacent to the pool for easy access. We heard limited or no noise from neighbors in the other condo units or entering the pool area and shared the lanai with just a few of the chickens found on the island.

This is a nice condo that is easy to access, close to the airport, beautiful view, and has everything you need. Check-in was relatively simple and there were no issues with parking. There is no central air conditioning, although there is a wall unit in the bedroom. It can get a little muggy in the unit but that's the nature of Hawai'i. The condo has a brewery across the street, a convenience store across the street, and only a mile from a grocery store. We were able to walk to some restaurants. The condo had towels, adequate kitchen ware, and a good refrigerator. The living room sliding doors did not have curtains which was a little odd. We didn't need to engage really with the host, but the little we did before checking in was just fine. Minimal check out rules, which was nice. I would return.

I am so conflicted about writing this review because I think the hosts are doing their best, but this area is only about a mile from a sewage treatment site and when that stench hits, it is brutal. This makes me feel bad for the property owners because this isn’t their fault, but I think if you’re going to book this unit expecting an experience based on the overall 9.8 score of reviews, you will be disappointed. This is a good place to explore the island, but not a great place to spend time in the unit. It is certainly affordable and I think a good value for Kauai; which is a small and expensive island. The hosts were responsive and the unit is clean, however, it is very very outdated and very hot and uncomfortable with some broken things such as the shower door with a dangerous sharp broken metal piece you have to be careful not to get cut on. The unit and the outdoor lanai are pretty dark and dreary at night. I felt like I got the steal of a lifetime when we arrived in the afternoon to the beautiful view, but as soon as the sun is down that view of the ocean becomes a view of freeway and aside from hearing the tide, it felt like I was in any random town, not a tropical island. The condo is located on a very busy street across from a gas station. Overall, this place is centrally located and affordable and great so long as your expectations are tempered, but I definitely was a bit disappointed in the location and condition of the unit.

The condo was as advertised. Shayne was easy to deal with and provided a PDF document for our stay which included information on the condo, restaurant recommendations and places to see. The view was amazing. Saw a few whales and a turtle the first morning we were there. In the afternoons we would watch the windsurfers and people on motorized boards. Complex was very quiet and peaceful. Street noise was not an issue. We turned on the A/C fan and used earplugs for a very peaceful sleep. The mattress is one of the most comfortable we have slept on. It's was nice that there were restaurants that are within walking distance. We made good use of the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and ice chest. Loved that there was a washer and dryer. It's nice returning home with a suitcase full of clean clothing. Good Happy Hours, Lemongrass in Kapaa and Kalyspo in Hanalei. We would definitely stay here again.
