Mounque's place was perfectly located for us. We were able to see sites from all over the island. We also arrived late in the evening so being close to the airport was a bonus. My husband is a chef and the kitchen is one of the best outfitted we have experienced. We were able to walk every day around the property and beach.

Amazing property! A hidden gem. It had everything we needed more! Loved the beach accessories. We felt right at home immediately. The place was beautifully decorated and I appreciated all the little Hawaiian details. Having a washer n dryer was great. The resort was also really nice and we enjoyed the jacuzzi at night. The condo is centrally located on the island so we were able to explore the north and south sides easily. I look forward to returning to this place again in the future.

The best stocked condo we have stayed at. Nice quiet resort. You will need a car but is centrally located on the island and close to the airport. The only reason we did not give a 5 star overall rating is because the air conditioner is a little noisy but you get used to it. Would absolutely return again . This was our second time. The owner was very accommodating.

I am having my last meal here on the outside lanai watching the beautiful waves and horizon. This condo was perfect for my family of two adults two tweens. Plenty spacious, comfortable and beautiful decor! Love Kapaa town and would love to stay here again.
We did the big resort pools and waterfalls on the first day and the KBV pool on the last day. KBV grounds and pool are beautifully maintained. We loved our stay!

This condo was close to the airport (15 minutes) and downtown Lihue. The resort is about half a mile from the main road, so was nice and quiet and maybe 100 yards from the beach. The unit was clean and spacious with two bedrooms (three beds), and we enjoyed the pools at the neighboring Outrigger hotel. Would stay again!

This condo can be a good choice if you'd like to explore both the North and South sides of the island due to its central location, and if you don't mind not being located right in a town. We really appreciated the washer and dryer since exploring on Kauai can be messy and we didn't have to pack as many clothes! There are 2 TVs with Netfix and the option of logging into other streaming apps, though the one in the living room is pretty old and difficult to navigate. The bed was very comfortable aside from an odd slant on one side. We also appreciated that parking didn't cost anything upon arrival.
The pools and hot tubs at the Outrigger are cool, and the pool bar was well stocked, but pretty sleepy and closed promptly at 6pm every day. Shutters is nice and the nightly live music is a good touch, though the food is just ok and a bit over priced (to be expected at a resort).
What I didn't realize until we arrived was that the unit is on a back corner of the building next to the parking lot, so the view from 2 of the 3 windows is of cars. It's also quite dark inside the unit, even with all the window shades open.
Overall, I would pay more next time for a more luxurious place, something that feels more like we're treating ourselves, but since we were out and about most of the time on this trip, this place did the trick.

We have stayed at this resort many times, and this was the first time we utilized a “private room” for ourselves. The view is wonderful, can see the pool and surrounding grounds (perfect to watch and listen to the hula show if you don’t go down to pool), and also a view of the ocean due to the higher floor location, which makes the room even better. It was very clean, and the larger refrigerator (than what you will find in the resort owned rooms) was well utilized. Communication with the host was timely and we never felt underprepared for our stay. The central location on the island makes a trip to any destination well worth the time, and the proximity to the airport is great. The beach at this resort isn’t a swimming beach, but if the weather agrees, the sunrises from the shore are amazing; depending on the time of year you may see the sunrise from the room. I do like you can charge the Driftwood Bar purchases to the room and settle up at the end of your stay . . . Not having to carry and worry about the wallet while down at the pool is a good thing. On our next trip, we will absolutely try to book this room again.

Overall, a great experience! We requested the twin beds be moved together for a queen (which was done) . We also enjoyed the snacks and coffee (a nice treat!) . We would have given 5 stars for cleanliness, but 1 kitchen towel smelled moldy and the bathroom towels smelled musty. This is a great location; we loved walking on the beach and it’s also close to Kapaa. Would stay here again!

We absolutely love staying in E-15 at Kauai Beach Villas. The unit is in great shape, a short walk to the beach, and most importantly, sheltered from what can be strong trade winds. The check-in and check-out process is a breeze. The Kauai Vacation Rentals team assisted with an emergency plumbing issue one day that we greatly appreciated. The lanai features a beautiful view of the interior lagoons, and we fell asleep every night out there to the sounds of palm fronds in the breeze and the fountain in the lagoon.We have stayed in this unit for several of our visits and plan to continue. It is definitely our home away from home.

Every aspect of our stay was just as we would have expected. Mounque definitely has his 'ducks in a row' concerning every aspect of this condo rental. This includes communication via the VRBO website, the check-in process, stocking the condo with recreational equipment (coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc), stocking the kitchen with almost every conceivable item (dishes, silverware, high quality pots and pans, cooking utensils, an unopened bag of coffee, a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts, packets of a huge variety of condiments, etc.), laundry equipment including laundry supplies, baby equipment including a pack and play, a high chair, et. al.
We would, without a second thought, stay with Mounque in the future.

Condemned buildings were concerning. Barbeques where clean and new, grounds were clean. Outside furniture was tired and worn. Coffee maker labels were worn off but could eventually figure it out. Floor mat in bathroom needs to be replaced. Carpet in kitchen was a trip hazard. Air conditioners were noisy and smelled. Need a car for amenities. Spacious for 4. Good instructions to locate unit and gain access.

Very nice place to stay. Could it use some upgrades? Sure. But, compared to other places and cost this was a great stay. We had no issues. Unit was clean and it had everything you needed. Just know you cannot get in the water at this beach. To rocky and rough. But us a great beach to sit and walk on. All the pools are great. It is centrally located to mist everything. Short 5 min ride to the airport.

Property was pretty, clean, and right on the beach. But a very small resort not around much. It was ok for us because we had a rental car but without a car you might not have enough to do. Room was clean and big enough for two people. Was super windy when we were here and the weatherstrip on the door rattled all night. Needs to be replaced. If it wasn’t windy though we wouldn’t have known. Went up the road to coconut shopping center for dinner most nights. Breakfast buffet at resort was ok and we didn’t eat any other meals there. Staff was super friendly and concierge helped us with what to do and booked a tour. But you could have booked it outside the resort for less. Overall a nice place but not in a busy area.

This is a lovely Condo in a great central location for visiting all parts of the Island. There is a pretty beach you can walk down to and enjoy a nice walk. The lanai was also nice for sitting & enjoying a breeze and tropical vibe with tall palm trees. Nice comfortable place, well stocked and owner is very easy to communicate with! Stayed here for 9 days with my partner. Check-in was very smooth. Very clean, comfortable, and we loved the amenities! The pool and beach are great. Great location, being 20 minutes from Poipu beach area, and 40 minutes to Hanalei bay. Lots of good hiking and food in the area. Would highly recommend this rental! Hope to be back sometime soon.
