I was nervous after reading reviews online, due to the construction. The lobby was closed and under renovation. This did not change my review. The grounds and pools were absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and the view was amazing. I loved that this resort was not crowded, unlike the others. I loved watching the sunrise. I would absolutely stay here again and can’t to come back!

Like a home, rather than a mass market condo. There were games, an extra floor pad, blankets, fully stocked kitchen with extras like peanut butter and soy sauce, a little cooler for the beach, etc. The manager was super generous and easy to contact. Great (but coldish) swimming pools and hot tub. Pretty grounds. Quick to a walk along the ocean. Only complaints; Air cooler only in bedroom; the rest was cooled by a fan. Fitness room not available.

This resort had a beautiful landscape and pool area and was VERY well kept and clean on the grounds. It is under some renovations so it’s a little tricky navigating the resort indoors. This particular condo was outdated but kept nice. The view was definitely NOT what was advertised. It is a straight view of the the back of the hotel and dumpsters and large trucks going in and out with a lot of noise! The noise could have been because of the renovations, but the view wouldn’t have changed even if it wasn’t. You could see the ocean if you looked down to see it a ways away. Also one thing that was NOT mentioned anywhere in the advertisement of this condo or resort , was that to park a car there it was over 400 to park in their parking lot. They said they will reimburse 200 . That was a shock to me. The price for the room was good for the type of room. But parking was pricey. We even had someone else that was staying there also tell us to go to the next resort and park there it was cheaper. This is a nice place, and I would stay at this resort again but not at this particular unit because of the view! We had an issue with the air conditioner but the property manager was so kind and helpful and got it quickly taken care of

Very nice, clean condo. Great having 2 bathrooms, lots of space, well equipped and very nice lay out. It is located in a good location, close to town. The host was easy to communicate with, very prompt with replies.Just a couple of negatives. The front door was in very bad condition, damaged by weather. Host did say this is getting replaced. Also, none of the barbecues in the area down by the pool were operational, not usable at all. Otherwise, it is a very nice unit. Mahalo!

Everything was very nice, only feedback is the ac needs to be cleaned or replaced in the room, it smelled moldy and looked dirty. The vent for the dryer also needs to be cleaned. Great central location to go north or south! The beds are VERY comfortable and it had everything we could ever need. We loved all the beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and games that were there too. Check in/out was easy and the property was beautiful. Great value for your money. We would recommend this area to anyone visiting Kauai!

My sister and I booked a stay at The Kauai Beach Villa and I must say it was a wonderful visit. We arrived to find everything we needed for our trip. The villa was equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The Villa is very close to the ocean, which is just a few feet away by foot. Most of the mornings were spent exercising on the grounds or by the shore. What a treat! Robert was helpful, quick to respond to all our questions and made the check in and check out process easy. The welcome sign greeted us with a perfect suggestion of Rainbow Jo’s coffee, which I must say was needed on our first day out!! The owners are great. Highly recommend. The location of the Villa is perfect. Close to the Lihue airport (5 minutes away). Central to all activities and adventures. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. If peaceful and relaxing is what you are looking for, book this Villa. Thank you Robert. Our first visit to Kauai will not be our last! Mahalo.

The accommodations inside the condo were comfortable. There were issues with the property grounds that would give us pause to recommend it. The gas grills were not functioning so we couldn’t barbecue. The hot tub was out of order our entire stay. The Outrigger was undergoing renovations as well as a number of other condo buildings are fenced off, and the lanai had a lot of mosquitoes so we couldn’t use it. Not sure if there were so many mosquitoes because of the recent rains or if the grounds were not being sprayed. In fairness, we did not contact the host as all the issues we had were really outside their control. The location was good, I would just recommend asking about the grounds and amenities before staying at the Kauai Beach Villas.

We enjoyed the condo. Cleaning was great and all the items that the host said were in the condo were there. We only had to buy any basic food we needed. The kitchen was ready to go with just about anything you would ever want to use and were good quality appliances. The pool and hot tub were both out of order in the villas but the hotel was still allowing the condos to use theirs. Thank you to the host!!

Overall we liked it, actually give 4.5 stars but that's not an option. Good location, convenient to both North and South, comfortable bed, lots of kitchenware so we could cook meals ourselves, Beach chairs and towels. Why dock half a star? Some weird oddities: again mostly well stocked kitchen but no foil or Saran wrap which are common kitchen items. Also it feels like housekeeping throws away stuff left by previous renters. We've never stayed in a VRBO that didn't have food items or sunscreen left from previous folks who couldn't take it with them. If they're throwing perfectly good items away instead of passing them forward that is not very Aloha. Also we were looking forward to grilling on the grills by the parking lot and had bought stuff to grill but there are no propane tanks . I checked a bunch of them around the property and none of them had propane. Are we seriously supposed to buy our own tanks? Finally the hot tub wasn't working . Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

Beautiful view of the pools and the ocean. Clean room. We want to support local economy when possible so we wouldn't choose this again. The owner is not local. There are many other choices where the money stays local. Otherwise, despite the construction and multiple elevator changes, it was a pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff, beautiful pools, and clean premises. So nice to be right on a beach for sunrises.

The room is perfect. Had 3 teens with me and everyone was able to have their own space. Well equipped, lots of appliances and no need to go out and buy anything so you can cook. The lanai is wonderful and you can hear the fountain all night. The property is beautiful. The pool is cold. All of the pools are cold. Maybe because it’s February, but I could only tolerate the hot tub. The host was super helpful anytime we needed anything.

This review was long overdue, 10/10 would recommend my family, friends, and everyone that would stay in Kauai!!! 1) Location was perfect since Monque's place was 7 minutes away from the airport. It's in Kauai Beach Villas, very safe & beautiful; 5-minute walk to the beach, pool, grill throughout. Perfect distance between north & south shore, it's midway point. Beautiful condo with amazing views of the resort.2) Monque, the host, responds to your messages right away. We had a problem with the main living room a/c and he did something about it right away. 3) His condo is beyond what my boyfriend and I asked for. It's like home away from home. We got the basic needs that other hotels don't have at about the same price: wifi, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils, silverware, stove/oven washer/dryer(!), separate bedroom, living room, lanai/patio, etc. We got to cut excess food costs using his kitchen. His lanai was perfect to have coffee in the morning & just relax.4) Free parking! Need I say more?!5) Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, and snorkels were provided. We could have spent an arm & leg; and yet all these were provided for us complimentary. 6) Free box of chocolates and coffee for staying at this place!7) Detailed places of where to eat, what to visit, over-the-counter meds such as Tylenol or band-aid in his bathroom cabinet, etc. He thought of everything! We really had an amazing time staying at Monque's place & will always come back to this :)

The pools are fantastic, along with the poolside bar and grill. Lots of comfortable lounge chairs all around so it’s easy to find a place to relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, and have a bite. Easy beach access, too. Our host was great and the room with the ocean-view balcony was a great place to unwind after each day of sightseeing or sitting by the pool.

A little disappointing that both the Kauai beach villas hot tub and 1 of the 2 hot tubs at the partner Kauai Beach Resort were out of service for the duration of the stay (reason for 4 stars). Great place to stay for families. Extremely clean, multiple AC units, 3 balconies with great views of a beautiful property. Location is extremely convenient for shopping and great local beaches on the east side of the island. Would highly recommend!

Great location to go to the beach or pool. The bed mattress was great. The best we had on our trip. I liked the patio that had tall plants in front of it for privacy and all the wild chickens that came to visit us. When we first got there the cable remotes were not working along with cable tv. But the issue was handled by Crystal quickly!

Place was exactly as described. Fully stocked kitchen is rare for HI. It is nice to not have to purchase/bring minimum cooking essentials (salt, sugar, oil, etc.) Don’t be scared off by the complex’s pending sale, just means more solitude for the private owners left. Host is communicative. More than adequate beach supplies in great condition. Rent while it is still available.

Host was great. Accommodating when we cane across issues. Quick to respond to messages. Local manager was also helpful. It was a bummer that the property was changing management. The pool area was not up and running. No hot tub, and the bathrooms were not usable, however we were able to use the pools and hot tubs at the Outrigger next door. The place was a little outdated, but we didn't spend a lot of time indoors anyway! The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed, plus more!! The Murphy bed was nice, however the only AC is in the bedroom so it stays pretty warm in the living room.

We had a lovely wedding celebration and the property was comfortable and perfectly located. After management’s attempts to help with problems of using the facilities (pools and hot tub) we were still given a hard time by pool guards. Felt there were many on Sunday who were not part of the facility guests and faculty was very crowded. Otherwise during the week we felt very welcomed. Nice grounds but lots of construction. Be sure to communicate with management.

My mom and I loved our stay here! Everything about it was just super easy. The place has everything you need and is so cute. The bed was super comfortable. All of the pools you have access to are very nice and a fun activity for the evenings especially! The beach is very close and was fun to be able to do many beach walks. We really enjoyed the central location making it easy to see all of the island. If we get the chance to come back we’d want to stay here again!
