This unit was a perfect place to stay for 2 weeks. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There were beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment and boogey boards. Note that there are 29 stairs to the unit without an elevator but didn't bother us. We really appreciated the washer and dryer and 2 bathrooms. The bedroom air conditioner and comfy bed made it great for sleeping. Loved having our coffee on the spacious deck overlooking the pool and lagoon. It was fun having access to the pools at the outrigger. This location was perfect to go either north or south. Definitely would stay again

The room was clean and in good order. Parking was very convenient. The kitchen had no stock past salt and pepper. The biggest issue was actually outside on the lanai. Chickens are ever present and feces droppings were on the patio. I had to clean it so we could enjoy the outside area.

This condo was incredible. Perfect central location for exploring the entire island. It was really close to the airport and we traveled to several areas of the island easily. It was EVERYTHING the owner described in his "Semi World Famous Island Write Up", and it had more than any other rental that I have ever stayed at. The condo was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a week's stay. They provided beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, and beach towels. It also has a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook any meal! It does have an electric stove which I personally don’t care for but It served us well for the week.This place is everything it is advertised to be and more. Super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We have never been to a VRBO with so much provided for their guests. From the kitchen to the bathroom, if I didn't pack it, it was available to use, so don't think twice about booking this property! There is no ocean view if that is what you are looking for, but the resort area is beautiful and the condo is very close to the pool. There is a really nice beach about 5 minutes away with a very safe place to swim and snorkel.

Terrific stay in a nice sized, very clean, and accessible unit with pool and ocean views. Great access to all East Coast and North Coast adventures. Nice beach at the Resort but we didn't swim it (we went just up the road to the protected pools at Lyngate). Resort Restaurant was expensive, as anticipated, but quite good (we did breakfasts only). Aloha and Mahalo to Frank and Sharon! The Lounge (Shutters) looked inviting but was closed during our stay. Played golf next door...very convenient! The Outrigger Staff were excellent to us.Challenges? Strictly 1st world issues. Parking was not very convenient and I did a lot of walking while carrying chairs, snorkel gear, bags, etc. (likely due as much to my poor planning as anything. Doormen were great but I didn't utilize them much- 1st trip, you know). Laundry was a chore (walking 3 stories) and there was no housekeeping service during our five days (our other condo had two services). And, watch that highway when getting in/out of the Resort. Cars are FLYING by!But, overall? This was an excellent location and a terrific introduction to the lush East/North Coasts of Kaua'i. Thank You, Outrigger Team, and our unit Owner. This was special.....

This location is perfect! The front door is in terrible condition but the condo is very clean and well kept. There is only one air conditioner and it is in the bedroom pointed right at the bed. But we kept the fans on and we were comfortable. All appliances work so you can cook your own food. Walmart had cheaper food but they don't have meat. We got an app called Shaka Guide that took us around the island for 4 days taking us every where. We loved shave ice, but the best is Jo Jos shave ice. Best fancy dinner place Hukilau Lanai. We walked down to the beach for sunrise most mornings. The pool was very nice. We used the grill a few times and that worked really well. We rarely heard the neighbors, but the chickens wake you up at 3am. You get used to it. The bed was comfortable and pillows were good. There are so many things provided. They have beach chairs, folding chairs, inflatables, mask and snorkle, umbrellas, shampoo, conditioner, beach towels, cribbage, Hawaii books, hair dryer, it was well stocked. I would stay again.

We enjoyed our holiday to Hawaii, however the resort is out dated, not maintained, saw many leaks when it was raining, many signs saying things are not to be used, ie door, clothes dryer, one of the two spas not working, tiles missing from around spa, staff polite but as soon as u ask a question not as polite. The outside pool area looks nice. Enjoyed watching the dance the resort showed on a certain day of the week.

Beautiful view of pools and ocean from this room. Very conveniently located. It’s on the 4th floor, never heard a lot of noise from other rooms. Parking is a short walk, note that it’s 40/day. Ice machine/vending machine on same floor. Room has a dehumidifier that works really well, you just need to empty the water out each day. Mini fridge is a good size for drinks and bottles and has a small freezer section. Laundry in building across (4 per load to wash or dry), if you don’t want to pay for change of towels. Lobby has a free filtered water machine so you can fill up before leaving each day. It was nice to have the 2 beach chairs, very useful when checking out beaches. An umbrella would be a nice addition.We never had an issue getting a lounge chair at the pool. Area was clean and comfortable. Staff everywhere were very nice.Lihu’e is a great location for driving to north (Hanalei 55 mins) and Poipu (30 mins)…scenic drives. Coconut marketplace is 10 minutes. Kapa’a is also close by and has restaurant options. Costco, Walmart about 10 minutes.Property manager, Crystal, was very nice and responsive.Don’t hesitate to book. It’s the perfect combination of owner rental and resort.

Great communication with location and access to the property access through the security gates. It was seamless and easy. The townhome was spotlessly, clean, plenty of towels, beach towels. Right off the bat - I think it’s fair to state that this place is difficult for a group of 4 adult people to sleep comfortably. We did it because there was not a lot of options available and it said it could fit 4. The main reason as to why it was uncomfortable is because the “AC unit” is essentially only working in one room (the main bedroom). This makes a comfortable stay for a couples getaway but difficult fitting anything more than that. I think the AC unit being closer to a glorified fan system and part of the AC vent being detached when we got there - is the only drawback our group had. In the main bedroom it was still cool enough to sleep once we got settled (around 69-72 degrees). All the appliances were working, water was hot / cold and the area and location around it were perfect (the pools, and beaches) Overall, if the AC system is fixed or upgraded, it would have been a perfect stay.

First of all the unit had no wash or dryer. I can to take my stuff to brother-in-law unit to wash stuff. Second of all no instructions on place to empty trash. You are confined to your bedroom to get out of the heat. The central ac other units had was taken out and replaced with a portable unit only cools bedroom. Three stairs up to get to your room.no elevator. No grill as was stated. To not follow this check in instructions as are wrong. On them it tell you if lose wrist band you forfeit your refund. Call VRBO before I when this it’s not true and just use wrist bands. As the gentleman stated he have no idea how VRBO works. Be careful what this power stats or tells you.

The host was communicative and helped us get checked in to our room a little early. The room was just as described with a beautiful sunrise ocean and pool view! AC worked great, with a dehumidifier running to keep things comfortable. The resort was great as well. Wonderful pool, surprisingly good food, friendly staff, clean amenities. I would stay again though my only knock is that there is nowhere within walking distance of the resort.

We stayed in the hotel last year and loved it, but wanted to save money - this apartment was perfect for what we needed. Very clean, the sun always shone on the balcony in the morning wonderful for our book reading. Great having a full kitchen and all its amenities. Perfect location to relax, would definitely look to stay again. It was also awesome that we could use their picnic chairs to use at the beach.

The condo was spotless on arrival and the resort amenities/pools were exactly what we were looking for. However, the unit itself feels tired: several holes in the ceiling (looks like old curtain hardware), noticeable mildew odor in the primary bedroom, and the sleeper-sofa frame is bent—there’s a big sag when you sit or try to sleep (mentioned in earlier reviews but still not fixed). With a little refresh and a sofa replacement this would easily be a 5-star stay; until then, expect a clean place in a fantastic spot that needs some overdue upkeep.

My husband and I loved our stay here. This unit was absolutely perfect. AC was amazing, bed was comfortable, ocean and resort view, great communication with host. Some things to keep in mind while booking: the resort is not within walking distance of pretty much anything, must Uber or rent a car. The resort puts on activities but VRBO guests are not able to participate. Also, the prices at the resort are extremely expensive (20 for two small virgin pina coladas). Overall, loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Property feels like it trying to survive. Short handed on staff, limited food options. MUST have a car because nothing is close by. the beach is littered with plastic and drift wood, but even if it was not, it's not a swimmable beach. Host was quick to reply, gave us early check in.

The resorts was nice but in big need of repair and updating. The room was nice but the ac did not work properly. This was the resorts fault and not VRBO. There were very few beach chairs around the pools so you had to grab one by about 7 am. The food was mediocre and the restaurant staff was rude and very slow.

Lovely little two bedroom condo. Very basic kitchen and wicker furniture. We were comfortable, but the a/c unit for the common area is just relying on the two units in the bedrooms. With both doors to bedrooms open and fan on it was comfortable, but when husband and kiddos went to bed and shut door, it’s hot in the common area. Slept great, beds were comfortable and the a/c works great in the bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay, and the unit was very well-equipped with beach gear, kitchen and laundry supplies, and games. The view was incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and hearing and seeing the ocean waves. Location was central to activities we had planned: hikes, kayaking, backcountry tubing, Waimea Canyon, Poipu Beach, Fern Grotto tour. We enjoyed using the Outrigger pools. It was nice to have a pool bar available, as well as the option to order food for lunch. The AC units were only in the bedrooms, so the living room and kitchen did not cool off as much. But we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

We love everything about this condo! This is our second time staying here and everything about it makes this our favorite place to be. We felt at home from the moment we walked it the door with the generous welcome basket with a nice bottle of wine and snacks, to the fact that the owner anticipated all our needs. Everything was provided from beach towels to shopping bags to scuba masks and more! The location is perfect, with access to the resort amenities and being centrally located to both north and south coast attractions! Thank you for sharing your condo with us!!

We hadn't stayed at a VRBO before and didn't read Crystal's notes in detail so we were upset that there was basically no soap for shower/bath. But you couldn't take a bath because there was no stopper in the tub to prevent water from draining. Someone else's shampoo was left in the shower. There was a dirty towel on the closet floor. Overall property was clean but unit as stated above. Property has extremely limited pool seating although there is tons of open space. The unit itself has a great location and views and sitting on our lanai watching the ocean, feeling breeze and running down to the pool for a dip made up for the lack of seating. Overall, with a few "maintenance" issues cleared, we would absolutely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location was fantastic, which made exploring super convenient. The property itself was spacious and very clean, providing plenty of room for our family to relax and spread out. The AC units worked well which allowed us to stay cool in every room. The pool area was a highlight—absolutely loved spending time there!
However, the beds were not as comfortable as we’d hoped, which made for some restless nights. Also, while the kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, and dishes, it lacked basic essentials like salt and pepper.

Bottom line is this unit was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. If you want luxury, this ain’t that. The outside of the buildings are old & badly in need of remodeling. The inside of the unit is nicely refreshed, however, and the owner is very responsive to inquiries (housekeeping staff is a bit slow to bring requested items, though). The pool area is exceptional, and beach access is a plus! Centrally located, 1 mile north of the airport, and perfect for exploring the entire island.

When we arrived, the unit was not very clean. There were dirty dishes still in the microwave, and kitchen utensils that were disgusting and had to be washed. It was obvious it had not been thoroughly cleaned, because even one of the dresser drawers was still completely full of a child's wardrobe. Toilet runs in the master bedroom all the time, and the beds were not comfortable at all. The queen bed that folds out from the couch really shouldn't be called a bed, It's worse than an RV mattress. The air conditioning in the master bedroom is really loud as well, because the condenser is right outside the window on the Lanai. Opening and closing Lanai doors can be heard through all the different units. Messaging property owner on VRBO was fruitless as well, as the message was never answered.The shower in the hall has a shower head so low that anyone over about 5'5 is going to find it uncomfortable to use. As someone who's 6'3", The shower head was below my shoulders and made simple tasks like watching my hair very uncomfortable. On the positive side, self check in was really easy to do. Location was nicely central for both the South and North shore explorations. We also appreciated having two beach chairs and a couple boogie boards. There was also an umbrella and some snorkel gear but we didn't use them since we brought our own. The pools over at the outrigger were nice as well. based on the pricing it was a let down in comparison to what we expected related to it's peers.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Fred’s condo! It was comfortable, welcoming, and felt like home away from home. Nice kitchen, spacious master bedroom! Enjoyed morning coffee on the terrace overlooking pond and water fountain! Fred was a great communicator and returned text messages quickly when we had a question! He provided a lot of information for regarding restaurants, shopping, attractions to see!! Highly recommend staying here..especially for the price!
