We enjoyed our stay and found it to be a very laid-back atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the welcoming drive with the gorgeous cathedral of trees. The convenience to the beach was a real perk plus the lovely paths onsite. The local chickens provided free entertainment. We would gladly stay here again.

Nice room with great view and porch. Was quite expensive for an hotel room without services of rest of resort (maids, trash removal (not fun poking around in dirty service area of resort to toss our trash), etc), and having to pay extra 35 per night for parking, etc. we did appreciate convenience to airport as gave us an extra morning at beach.

The place is nicely located but needs upgrade. The washer and the sofa bed are old and need to be replaced. The sofa bed flexes even with our super thin 10 year old son and he basically slept with us in master because it was not meant to be used. The air conditioner makes noise too. The property was clean but overall expensive for the size and quality. Giving 4 stars because the outrigger resort access saved the day a bit. It’s managed by a property manager who is not on site. Thanks.

This was the perfect place for my friends and I. It’s in a prime location with the airport 7 minutes away with tons of food spots around. The beach is a 3 minute walk where the sunrise hits so beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the on-property Starbucks in the gift shop. The three restaurants were great options for staying on property. You can tell in its heyday this was a 5 star destination. It’s still a great property, but in need of updating. Excellent location on the island, only 10 minutes from airport and easy access to the rest of the island. Immaculate grounds. Excellent pools, but strong ocean currents make it a less desirable beach to swim at-use caution.

Our stay at this condo, hosted by Robert, was absolutely magical from the moment we first stepped inside last year, and then again this year!!!
The condo itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable - and fully equipped!
Robert is an exceptional host - incredibly responsive to our needs, and goes way above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

We had a wonderful time at the outrigger - the location is absolutely perfect. The pool was wonderful, my family really enjoyed themselves here. The communication with the property manager was great - my daughter unfortunately left behind a couple items and the property manager was amazing to work with and helped us in no time be able to get her items back. The villa was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Since we were here in November, the cooling units and ceiling fans available in the bedrooms were sufficient to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. I can imagine that the main area, which doesn't have air conditioning, might get a bit warm when the outdoor temperature is higher like in the summer. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cups, glasses, etc. It had everything we needed.The only downside with the location of the property is that it's sometimes difficult to make a left turn onto the main road from the property. On some mornings, left turns were prohibited. That meant, making a right turn and driving down a bit until you can make another two turns to get onto the main road (i.e. left turn into a road/property, turn around, then right turn onto the main road). Besides that, the property is nicely located and it's easy to get to other places on the island.

We really enjoyed our time in Kauai! The island is beautiful. The resort is beautiful as well - very clean and gorgeous landscaping is well kept. A few nice food options on the resort. All staff was very kind and welcoming. The ocean view from the room is very nice - also overlooks the pool area. Great way to get the ocean view at a reasonable price. The room was nice enough - clean, smelled good… just a few features that could use a little updating. Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at this condo. Bedrooms were very comfortable and cool. The living area was very nice too. Kitchen is gorgeous. No AC in the main areas just the bedroom. We had to work to get it cooled down with the fans and trying to get a cross breeze. The property manager was responsive

The owner describes the condo and property exactly! EVERYTHING you would need for a comfortable stay is there, from extra paper products, soaps, shampoo, laundry pods, etc.
Mounque explains everything in his documents, there are no surprises. Complex is great, being next to the Outrigger Resort, where we had access to all resort pools, etc. Condo pool & hot tub are stellar. Location to the ocean is excellent.

This place is everything it is advertised to be. Super clean. Up to date. Central to everything on the island. Communication with the owner is very easy. I can not say enough good things about this place. My wife and I have stayed at a lot of Vrbos over the years and this was by far our best trip ever. We recently stayed at a beachfront condo and overall, it was clean and well-maintained. However, there were a few issues that impacted my experience. For a few days, there was a strong cigarette smell in the unit, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the kettle inside was covered in rust, making it unusable. While the kitchen towels were clean, they did have old stains, which was a bit off-putting. Despite these concerns, the location was fantastic, and the view was beautiful.

The location was perfect. Right in the middle so we didn’t have far to go regardless of what we did. And the place was perfect. A short walk away from the beach where we saw some amazing sunrises (not the best for getting in the water with the exception of walking through the tide as it washed up on shore), everything we needed for our stay, including beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas was included. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was fabulous also with 5 of us staying there. We were able to pack lighter, which left more room for souvenirs.

Great value for this price and location! Can’t believe how close of a drive it is to the airport, less than 5 minutes and so convenient. Traveled with grandkids and appreciated the Snoozeshade for the Pack N Play. Others have mentioned this - the location is unbeatable as it’s a great midpoint to travel all over the island. After a long day of exploring beautiful Kauai - we relaxed in the hot tubs and watched sunset on the beach. Grandkids had a great time in the sandy pool and water slide at KBR. It was fun for everyone!

Absolutely loved this room and property! I can’t wait to rent again! The room was clean, comfortable bed, nice mini fridge and lots of space. The view from the room and balcony are spectacular! Our host was so sweet and always answered right back. The staff at resort were terrific and I was sad to say goodbye to them.

Initially the room was very hot and ended up buying a fan at WalMart. We received a room change that turned everything around!! That view from room 4214 was fantastic!! Communicating with the host was a little tricky for me but got it to work. Didn’t realize until we checked in that we’d have to pay for parking.

3rd floor unit with great view of pool and pond. Unit very clean and well appointed. Bed and Murphy bed very comfortable with a/c in bedroom and fans for living area. Enjoyed the lanai in AM and evening, condo pool during day. Beach for sunrise and resort pool and tiki bar as well. Great location to access from Kapaa to Waimea Canyon before we headed to Princeville .Communication with owner and manager quick and responsive!. Close to Walmart, Costco and grocery stores to stock up!!

The unit is only a short drive to the airport and made it nice being centralized to the attractions on the Island. Great communications with owner. Very clean unit. Kitchen is very well equipped, resort pools and hot tubs very nice, nice being remote from towns made for easy parking at the condo, very nice landscaping and taken care of. The only negative items I had is the room is over a 3 minute walk to the beach,, the couch is very uncomfortable, and the beach itself. The beach at the ocean is not clean, you can not swim or snorkel in the ocean at that location and if you walk heading north on the beach there are a few homeless people living there.

I wanted to ensure that I got a nice ocean view of all the units available. This room was very nice and clean and had a wonderful pool and ocean view. You can sit and watch the waves. The pools were perfect and great for swimming. The room and property were very clean and well maintained.

This was a perfect place to stay for activities both north and south of Lihue. The hotel/villa complex was amazingly peaceful and quiet given its size - the most constant noise coming from the ocean and resident chickens. It was nice to have access to the beach, hotel pools, restaurant and grill - all within a short walk.
Having a full kitchen and laundry in the unit was a real plus for our week-long stay. While the unit had some condition issues (noisy refrigerator, difficult sliding screen door), they were not detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay. Breakfast on the balcony in the early morning sun was a delight!

The property is very centrally located on the island. Both the Condo pool area and the adjoining resort pool were nice. Beach is beautiful for sunrises, but isn’t a swim, surf beach, and warnings about man-o-war in the water there.
If you plan to make meals in the condo I recommend BBQ as there are some older, pealing, pans in the kitchen. There was no dish soap, paper towels, or body wash so either purchase some or bring your own.
The condo is a bit dated, beware of the dishwasher because the door latch is broken.
Overall a nice, affordable, spot for a family or friends and family stay.

Villas D-19 was a MUST stay if you are wanting the luxuries of home. The property was beautiful and had that Hawaii feel. Management was amazing to work with and answered all the questions we had about the property. A full size kitchen was totally worth it for a quick breakfast or snack before we started our day. Loved having a microwave and a dishwasher but a washer and dryer made it so easy and a must going forward. They thought of everything from an ice chest and chairs to take to the beach, cooking ingredients, extra tooth brush or toiletries if you forgot yours, even detergent to wash your clothes. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. If I had to critique the property in anyway, it would be the resort side. The bar by the pool closes by 6 PM and no pool side service for food or drinks unless you get out of the pool and walk into the lounge. The pool area was absolutely beautiful and the chickens running around were fun to watch. The parking was a very close and not having to pay for parking was a nice addition. Our unit also had a couch that pulled out to a bed if you are thinking of bring kids. If your looking for a fancy place, this is not the place for you. For us it had everything we wanted and even more.

I’ll say this, the neighborhood was nice and close to a beautiful beach (although I wouldn’t recommend the beach for younger children) and overall the description was very accurate and thorough. However, some problems I had were that the sink was broken when I got there and it sprayed water out the side the entire time, I couldn’t use the sink without having to wipe everything down after. Also, packages would not go to this address no matter what I did - I was staying for about a month and no packages even with excessive correspondence with the companies ( I tried re-sending it with one company over 4 times and just ended up sending it back home due to the hassle) items would just stay “out for delivery” for days and never get delivered even with directly copy and pasting the address over. Truly though my main problem with this Vrbo is the private investigator (who works with the Kauai Chief of Police) that REPEATEDLY came to the building to question and harass me over the owners whereabouts, information and my relation to him - I winded up leaving a week early because I was not comfortable with this - I informed the owner of the issue and sent him the investigators information which he did nothing with, and a day later the investigator was back with more questions. Overall I could live with a broken sink but I refuse to be pulled into any legal matters the owner has, I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer but I would not stay here again.

A large pump was started ever day that sits out side and creates a lot of noice to drain water from the lake. The safe door was locked Open upon our arrival when we got there, so we were unable to use it during the week. When we notified the management company about it, they didnt offer to come and fix it during our stay. Condo was nice and photos are accurate.

The unit had one small air conditioner in the bedroom. We would keep the door shut all the time so we would have a cooler bedroom to sleep at night. So when we came in of an evening after a day of beach or hiking we came back to a living room that was at one time 86 degrees. Beach had lots of plastic washed up on it. Unit was very nice and clean and had everything we needed but also we did no cooking there. Nice there was beach towels for us. Beach chairs would be nice.

Robert’s condo was as great in person as the pictures showed!!! The AC in the bedroom was more than enough to keep us cool at night! Great breeze coming in through sliding glass doors when we were there. The blinds kept the sun out when we were gone. It was fantastic to have a washer/dryer in the unit!! We had some important things fall out of my husband’s wallet in the unit. We contacted Robert, who put us in touch with his cleaning team, and they sent it to our home!!! We are so grateful! I would definitely stay again!!
