I cannot recommend this property enough! Perfect for a couple, with a fully equipped kitchen, but the best part was the lanai overlooking the ocean. The property manager stopped by to ask if we needed anything. I’m already planning to book for next year. Thank you!

My Husband and I stayed about a week for our 30th Anniversary. The location was awesome! The Condo was clean and nicely decorated. It does need a little updating in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. The sliding screen door needs a little TLC as it was difficult at times to open easily. Overall a great experience. Loved having the accessories (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler) for use. Nice to have the extra towels. Loved centralized location and watching turtles in the surf daily! Thank you so much!!! We would definitly return!

Had a wonderful week in Kauai - the rental was perfectly stocked and immaculately clean! Waking up and going to sleep to the sounds of ocean waves was a dream. Loved being able to have a meal out on the lanai - saw sea turtles! Took about a minute to walk from the complex to the beach for a swim - loved being so close to the water. Hope to stay again!

This is an excellent property in a great location. The property has a wonderful pool and a well laid out BBQ area. It was very easy to get to from the airport - about 15 min. Check in was very easy. The general property manager, Mark, was very helpful. His number and card are in the check in office.
The view from the balcony was the first thing we saw as we came in the unit. Overall, the unit was exactly as described and very well equipped. It was also conveniently located to walk to a nearby ocean front restaurant and a touristy market. All points on the island were no more than an hr away.
We had a problem with our door lock. Ilse responded to our note within minutes, and provided a solution. She even dropped by the next morning to make sure all was in order. Wonderful support and service.

This was our 3rd time to stay at Wailua Bayview, but the first time in this unit. It was very clean, and the kitchen had everything that we needed. When we arrived, there wasn't any soap and the property manager quickly brought some. The front door needs to be replaced and she had to show us the trick to open it. Unit really needs to be updated.

As advertised, great ocean views! And we had rainbows over the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and the air conditioning in the bedroom was an added bonus! The location was very convenient with access to river kayaking nearby and the airport. We would definitely stay here again!

We were overall very happy with the accommodations. The complex is very well maintained and clean. A little close to the main highway but it didn't bother us. At night when sleeping, traffic levels are very low anyway and during the day the sound of the ocean surf in the living room and kitchen is what you hear. We love that sound! The ocean view is beautiful!
Didn’t need the A/C in the bedroom as the unit has ceiling fans that move the air plus the breeze from the ocean through the screen door to the lanai was lovely.
We met Marvus the housekeeping lady who cleans some of the units when vacated. We told her about the slow draining sink in the bathroom before we left. Didn’t really bother us but it takes its time draining. She is a friendly

This condo was perfect for us. We loved our view on the lanai the best and ate all our meals on the little bar top. The view is of a beach with crashing waves. The condo was clean and well equipped. There were beach towels and plenty of bath towels, even extra sheets if needed. We loved the spices, tea, kitchen equipment, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrella, and cooler. This condo has a lovely pool and was very quiet because it is small. You are by a busy road, but the sound of the ocean blocked that out. We liked the location because it was close to the airport, easy to access both north and south sides of the island, and a few minutes from Safeway. This was a great home base for the week. Also liked the keyless entry to the condo so didn't have to carry keys when we went out. I appreciate the staff doesn't clear out the fridge entirely, so we enjoyed the condiments and syrup from previous renters. That was nice to not have to buy those items you use little of. We are planning to come back again to this condo. It was just lovely. Thank you to the owners. Also the staff were so courteous to us.

We stayed here after leaving our condo up North in Princeville. This was a good place to extend our vacation.
Great Property and the 1bdrm condo is quite nice - loved the views off the lanai. The location was convenient to travel down south or head up north.
The only downside, and nothing that the owner can do about this, is noisy motorcycles going by at night on the main highway (not too far away) and hearing them in the bedroom with windows open.
The property manager and housekeeper were both great! The furnishings were good, and the availability of beach chairs and other stuff was really nice. :)

Just returned from our 5-night stay. We were looking forward to the view as shown in the photos and it definitely did not disappoint! We had everything we needed.
The best part was the communication and response by Ilse and Marvis. Our very minor issues, such as a light bulb being out, which really did not need addressing while we were there, were taken care of almost instantaneously!
If/when we return to Kauai, we will definitely consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay on the ocean! Communication with Ilse was great, she responded quickly and answered all our questions. Bed was comfortable and there was no road or other noise (except the incredibly wonderful sound of the ocean waves!) Our only not as positive comment would be that a few things could use an update (ex. - the stained carpeting). Other than that, we were very pleased with the condo and location!

We had a very nice stay. Location, view, accessibility- all exactly what we were looking for. Clean enough that we felt comfortable walking around in bare feet/socks... Very comfortable bed, and AC in the bedroom was nice. It did take a bit to find the cooking pans- they are in the drawer under the oven... Kitchen well stocked with necessities... Complex management very friendly and helpful. I am always a bit leery of having neighbors above us, but never heard a peep from any neighbors. Nice beaches within very easy walking distance. Yes, we would certainly stay here again!

It was great to watch the sunrise as I worked in the morning. Having Passion bakery right next door was a bonus. WiFi was fast enough to handle some heavy data loads. Great location for escaping to anywhere on the Island after shutting down the computer. Easy to get to and from the airport made arrival and departure quick.
Everything was as advertised. Roosters were vocal, but we did not find traffic noise to be an issue. Great air flow with windows open and we didn’t need to turn on the AC at all. We only cooked breakfast, so we didn’t really need much in the way of Kitchen equipment, only thing lacking for those that do want to cook are spices.
We ran into Marvis a couple of times and she was a wealth of knowledge that helped us find some wonderful meals and places to visit (her daughter’s 808 grill food truck is an excellent choice!)
Would definitely choose again if I return to Kauai.

A well-stocked, decent sized place for the price for two people (looked like there was room for a 3rd on the couch). Standouts elements are the excellent balcony view of the ocean and very central location (but not too central) providing easy access to much of the island. Temperature was fine and we never needed the AC in the bedroom, relying only on ceiling fans and the open sliding door; if wave noise is an issue for you then the manager already thought of that and there is a container of earplugs in the bedroom.

We expected this place to be nice when we reserved it but when we walked in and saw it, especially the view, we were so impressed. The view from the lanai was amazing, sunrises especially. The condo was comfortable and clean, the kitchen provided the basics so you could cook meals if you wanted. Close to Lydgate Beach, Coconut Marketplace and the most excellent POG malasadas at Passion Bakery Cafe right across the street! Easy parking, too. We had a great visit to this lovely condo and hope to stay again

The unit is wonderfully located to explore the island and it has a simply *beautiful* view of the sea and Wailua Beach.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The check-in process was very easy and the condo was clean and tidy upon arrival. Staff was very friendly as well. Air conditioning in the bedroom kept the place comfortable at night, even on a warm weekend. The location is pretty central, and the condo was located next to plenty of good food options-- even a few places in walkable distance. During our stay, we spent as much time as we could on the lanai. The ocean view was incredible, and made for the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee from down the street or unwind after a long day. Would definitely stay here again!

Lack of decent lighting everywhere except for the bathroom which was excellent. The kitchen knives either need sharpening or replacing. We didn't see anyone swimming in the ocean which was a pity that this wasn't an option. Only having an AC in the bedroom was inappropriate.

Kitchen is great and open as is the living room.
But the real showstopper is the balcony which has a complete and uninterrupted view of Wailua Bay. Was completely unprepared for this gorgeous view but luckily the owner is as there is loung furniture and a 2 seat bar looking out.

The sound of the waves will relax you as you sip your beverage of choice on the lanai. The location is central so you can go north or south on day trips as you wish. We did Hanalei and tunnels beach, strolling through Kapaa, kayaking the Wailua river, Poipu, and the Waimea canyon. Go to the free hula show at Coconut Marketplace. Nice cold A/C in the bedroom. We hope to be back!

We loved our stay. There were two issues—not a big deal. One was that the staircase at the north end near our unit (213) was damaged and blocked off. This meant we had to walk A LOT further with our luggage (steps, baby!). The other issue was related to the only place to drop garbage—way at the very end of the property (hard to get to). Again, not the end of the world. The view, the property, the condo were all wonderful, as was the property manager.

A lovely space, convenient to Lihue, Wailua River, and roads that get you north and East around the island. A great little bakery (Passion Bakery) with delicious malasadas across the street and restaurants (Sushi Bushido, yum!) in walking distance. An adequate beach access just a few minutes down from the property. Comfortable beds and bathroom. Great Kauai travel books in the space (the hiking one was especially awesome!) and a cooler for packing for the day. You can't beat the breakfast bar on the balcony. Thanks for a great stay!

This unit is in a quiet building right on the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the waves. The condo is centrally located making it easy to visit both the North and South shores. The unit is clean with many kitchen amenities. It was also great to have access to a washer and dryer. The A/C in the bedroom also helped to cool things down for a good night’s rest. Ilse was very accommodating about the lack of parking during our 4 day trip that was the result of maintenance work being completed. She offered a discount due to this limitation and we appreciated it. Marvis, the on-site manager, was also very willing to help with whatever we needed. Overall, this is a great place to stay at a nice price. The beach immediately outside the condo isn’t nice for swimming and I didn’t consider it to be a nice beach for lounging on the sand. But Lydgate Beach is a short drive away where you can swim, snorkel, and enjoy a relaxing beach day.

Thank you for making the beach chairs and umbrella available. Would recommend this place to stay. Mornings are a bit loud with roosters going off at 3AM and traffic at 5AM since bedroom faces the front. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Other than that, great hikes and restaurants close by.

The location of this rental was amazing, with sunrise views right on the ocean, beaches and restaurants within walking distance, and proximity to the airport. The bed was comfy and the pantry had some basics in it, which was nice. Some very minor criticisms, there were a few bugs inside (probably unavoidable with any rental on Kauai) and some of the supplies were low/out (trash bags and laundry detergent), but these were really minor issues. Overall we are thrilled with the stay and would absolutely stay again!

This is a clean, comfortable condo on the shore of Wailua bay, with the lovely beach in easy walking distance. The view from the balcony is beautiful morning and night - we got to watch the lunar eclipse from the balcony! The bed is very comfortable and all the appliances were sparkling clean. What a delightful place to stay for our visit on Kauai! Ilse, the owner, and the Marvis, the on-Island condo manager, were both delightful! They were both friendly, helpful and responsive to all of our questions.
The condo building has easy parking, two water stations to clean off water gear, and a lovely pool with a shower and bathroom.
The location of the condo was perfect! The balcony looks out on the Wailua Bay where the Wailua River flows into the bay - such a peaceful view! Just a few minutes from historic Kapa'a with shopping and restaurants and several beautiful beaches within walking distance. We were just minutes from the kayaking adventure on the Wailua River where we kayaked then hiked to the Secret Waterfall. (No longer so secret - it's the waterfall in the opening scene of the old TV show, Fantasy Island.)
The drive to the other areas of the island was quick and easy.
The condo had everything we needed for our stay, including boogie board, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, washer/dryer, and a fully functioning kitchen. A nice bottle of wine and chocolates greeted us on our arrival!
