This small condo was perfect for us. We loved our water view. While the constant sounds of waves seemed loud at first, we quickly adapted to it and found it to be soothing. Highly recommend visiting Waimea Canyon for its spectacular views. The Kauai National Tropical Botanic Garden tour, while pricey, was fabulous and a highlight for us. Nearby Lyndgate Park was a lovely beach with opportunities for protected swimming but also had access to the open ocean. It was not nearly as crowded as Poipu Beach and had some shade opportunities.

The owners were very on top of things when we had a few minor issues. The location is very close to some outstanding restaurants, a local grocery and drug store, and coffee shops and gift stores. The Island is small, so navigating it and going to amazing sights is very doable. I can still see and hear the sound of the ocean at night when I go to sleep.

We had a bit of trouble finding it since the listing says Wailua House Lots and the actual sign on the property says Wailua Bay View. A great marketplace with shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a gorgeous view.

This condo is in a perfect location to do day trips to any side of the island! Its also close and convenient to get to from the airport in Lihue. There is an excellent vew looking down the east side of the island with spectacular sunrises if you get up early to see them. The condo itself was very clean, was comfortable and was well stocked with kitchen supplies, perfect if you want to do some cooking at home to save some money! Lots of stuff within walking distance, multiple beaches, kayaking the Wailua River, shopping centers, grocery and the historic section of Kapa'a. It was a great place to stay!

What I loved about this apartment is the ocean view and the privacy. From our balconey, we never saw another soul, so it felt like our own, romantic hideaway. It is within walking distance to several good restauarants, and Kapa'a itself is central to many island adventures. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom, but we did not need to use it as the ocean breeze also keeps things cool. The kitchen is well equipped, and I really appreciated the washer and dryer unit in the apartment. Overall, I felt that the listing was accurate, and I was very satisfied.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo! It was clean, comfortable , well stocked and a great central location to explore all areas of Kauai . We walked to a different restaurant every night for dinner and enjoyed the bakery across the street for coffee & treats after our morning stroll on the beach. Having snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler available was an added bonus along with the welcome snacks. Will be back next year. 🏝️ Local contacts were also very nice & helpful.

We loved everything about this condo except for the heat. The listing is correct that there is an AC unit in the bedroom only. The kitchen and living room got to be very warm in the afternoon and evening. Might not be as much of an issue if you are staying in non-summer months. But, we loved it so much that we'd probably stay again if we ever get the chance. Thank you!

This condo was the best equipped VRBO I have stayed in. It had absolutely everything. The beach stuff was great, the welcome basket of snacks were appreciated. We spent many hours on the balcony watching the fishermen and the chickens! I will definitely recommend this place. Mahalo!

We had a great time staying at this condo! The balcony was very comfortable and had amazing views. The room was clean with had plenty of space for us. The listing says it has A/C, which ended up being a single unit in the bedroom that can't be left running while you're away. However, the airflow from the balcony and front-door windows kept us cool enough while spending time in the kitchen/living room.
The only other thing we were a little surprised by was how the beach area around the building was very murky/muddy which is not recommended for swimming. Otherwise, we loved staying here!

Overall, a decent condo for the price. However, the noise from the highway is a bit much at times. Also, the condo is a bit dated and there is a quite a bit of humidity, even for Kauai. The carpet is old and has a bit of a smell.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks in Regina & Scott’s clean, well cared for, well appointed and scenic condo on the east coast of Kauai. It proved to be the perfect place to stay during some inclement weather, a beautiful view of the ocean and waves and a balcony nicely sheltered from the rain. Similar to all the other positive reviews, we have no complaints and Regina (and Marvis on site) did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. A quiet, scenic and fabulous condo!

This was our our 3rd stay at this complex. The unit was furnished nicely and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to successfully prepare simple or gourmet meals.
The view was spectacular. There is really no need to leave the apartment. It has everything, but the ever changing, unobstructed ocean views cannot be beat.
The one drawback, and it may be temporary, was that the traffic flow made it a challenge to get in and out of the property, especially when trying to return from the north. The ongoing construction made it especially challenging.
We also noted that the overall property was nicely maintained, making the whole experience a pleasure. Both the overall property management team and the individual unit management was very responsive and helpful.

This property is a great getaway for anyone who loves the ocean and is on a budget. Unparalleled ocean view right off the balcony with waves, surfers, and a great view of the beach! We enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze through the condo during the day with the comfort of AC at night. Just a short walk to Lydgate Beach park offered a protected swimming lagoon and at least a mile of great beach walking.
The condo was furnished comfortably with ample space for the two of us, the kitchen was adequately equipped to fix meals (save some $$ on eating out), and parking was easy. The drive to major shopping in Lihue was convenient and quick (as was the drive to the airport early in the morning). It is located in a great central location to all the major sites.
Our hosts were responsive and checked on us personally during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This Island is truly "The Garden Island". We have now visited all of the major Hawaiian Islands and Kauai is by far my favorite. Most definitely will be back!

Wailua really is the perfect location for exploration of the whole island accessible by car, although timing is essential for avoiding traffic backup going either north or south. Plenty of restaurants and beach access in walking range.
The unit was comfortable and well appointed - there was nothing we needed which wasn't provided, and we cooked most of our meals at home. The view was perfect, and the only sounds we could hear were of the waves on the beach below. The local condo unit manager Marvis was wonderful, providing much aloha and kokua.
The condo property - landscaping, maintenance and pool area were immaculate. It is obvious that the property manager Mark has a good eye for detail and loves his job.
We had a/c in the bedroom which made it possible to enjoy a good night's sleep, and tradewinds kept the apartment bearable for most of the day.

One of the great things about the location of this condo is it’s pretty much in the center of the island, making it an easy travel to the other parts. The place is a very quiet, peaceful environment, so if the plan is to party, it’s probably not the place for you. The condo itself was nice and tidy. The bed was comfy and FINALLY good pillows! There’s a nice breeze that flows through if you keep the screens open. The condo is close to the highway, however, it was hardly noticeable to us. If you plan on going soon, they were doing some construction but again, we were not inconvenienced by it at all. Mark was great, and super hospitable. You could tell he takes pride in the place. We would definitely stay here again.

The view from our unit was nothing short of a majestic display of island beauty from dusk to dawn. The facility is superbly managed and communicating with the owners was easy, responses quick. Near Kapaa Town and so close to the airport, it is centrally located. Traffic is heavy so be prepared. However, drivers are patient and accommodating. Also, be prepared for stairs since it is on the second floor. Kauai is the healing Island. Staying here was the salve for our spirit. Thank you for making it such a special place to stay. It was perfection!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Seashore Hideaway. Loved, loved, loved the ocean view from the lanai! Also loved the beach decor and the kitchen with everything we needed to make meals and feel right at home.
We really enjoyed swimming in the beautiful, clean and well maintained pool. And the location was perfect for getting to the various parts of the island. The quick walk to the beach was great. This was the PERFECT location for the surprise trip I took my mom on! Beautiful property and view from the balcony with our morning coffee. The owners were so nice and easy to work with and communicate with. The area was a great place on the island to get to everything north and south. We loved being within walking distance of The Coconut Marketplace for shaved ice, shopping, dinner, and especially the free shows and live music! My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Seashore Hideaway! We thought that it was in the perfect location - close to the airport, and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. We had a rental car the whole trip, and it was really nice being in the 'middle' of the island which made driving to places like Waimea Canyon and Hanalei not a bad drive at all. The property itself is also beautiful!
We LOVED listening to the waves crash on the balcony. Waking up and drinking coffee while looking out at the ocean every morning was a dream, and honestly a highlight of our trip! The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was really nice having the AC unit in the bedroom at night. We didn't think traffic noise was ever a problem.
I highly recommend staying here for your Kauai vacation! :)

We looked at several properties around Kauai and settled on the lovely Seaside Hideaway. So glad we did-It’s centrally located and easy to get around the island. Fantastic restaurants, awesome hiking, beautiful beach! It was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon stay! Situated in great middle location of Kauai, with easy access to both North and South shores, this beautiful condo on the bay was our home for a week. The condo is well maintained and has a great ocean vacation vibe, with the owners telling me they are updating even further after we depart! There is great food and shopping within walking distance, and the beach is just down a flight of stairs!! My wife and I enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and can't wait to come back for more island adventures!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location on the island was perfect for our first time, less than 30 min to Poipu and less than 40 to Hanalei. The surrounding area also has a number of desirable beaches, restaurants and other attractions. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook for our entire stay. The pool area was also very nice, nicer than it looked in the pictures even. We would highly recommend this rental for a single family or couple interested in being centrally located on the island.

Seashore Hideaway was a perfect place to spend in Kauai for 2 + weeks. The location in Kapaa was convenient to the airport and the exploration of the entire island. It’s also close to shopping and restaurants.
The condo was super clean and tastefully decorated. Many thoughtful touches reflect the pride of ownership. Appreciated the Hawaiian music upon entering and the basket of treats! The bed is a dream! The windows when closed prevent street noise. We did use the air conditioner a few nights.
Cooking was a joy in the well stocked kitchen and eating on the lanai was the best. Of course, the lanai with the ever changing sights and sounds was the crowning piece. The total ambience made staying in very relaxing.
The vibe of Wailua Bay View is friendly and peaceful. Hanging out at the well maintained pool area was fun. The foliage is lush and the pool clean and clear. Even though the water wasn’t super warm, it was still inviting.
In our tours of the island we found Anini Beach to be ideal. It is protected from rough waves, there are trees to provide shade and the water is warm and clear. The beach chairs from the condo came in handy. In addition to visiting all the breath taking places on the island, we also spent some days at several luxurious resorts through resort pass. Great value!
We appreciated very much the TLC of the owners Regina and Scott. They take great pride in their condo and made every effort to ensure that that our stay was memorable. Communication was very quick and easy. Their on site manager, Marvis, was very gracious and helpful.

We stayed in this condo for two weeks, and felt right at home. The unit is comfortable in every way. We were impressed with the many details, especially the kitchen, which was very well stocked with all the utensils and gadgets that we would ever need. I did a lot of cooking during our stay and appreciated that!
The beach is just a short walk away, and the unit is close to Coconut Marketplace and restaurants, so it is ideal for us. We highly recommend this condo!

We have stayed at Wailua Bayview over the last 10 years at least. Think that we have stayed in unit 208 the last 4 years. It's a beautiful unit with a drop dead gorgeous view off the lanai. The new owners have added some beautiful artwork around the condo.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this condo. The new owner just remodeled it and everything looked so clean and fresh. Upon arrival we found nice local treats over the counter. We enjoyed eating breakfast while looking at the ocean from the balcony, and at night a drink under the starts.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. And the room and leaving room nice and comfortable. The owner also provided beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler; very handy.
Location is perfect, close to the airport and centrally located to travel to the north or to the south to visit different beaches and, hikes and turístic places. I do not recommend swimming in the beach next to the condo because the ocean is very strong there.
The host was always in communication with us, making sure we were confortable and had everything we needed.
I totally recommend this condo for a couple visiting Kauai.

We really enjoyed our stay. While the outside of the building looks a bit aged, the inside was beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved watching surfers and kite boarders each day. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed/bath linens and towels were nice. The pool was kind of cold, so we spent more time in the ocean. Overall I would give a 5 star rating.

The condo itself was nicely furnished, had nice artwork on the walls, well equipped kitchen and came with nice amenities like beach chairs, cooler, beach toys and beach towels. Washer and dryer were a plus. The bedroom seemed a little cramped but the bed was comfortable. Bedroom has air conditioning but we didn’t use it…the fan was fine. We appreciated the nice tub of ice that was awaiting us and a couple of bears and hard ciders when we arrived. It’s in a very convenient location that is close to the airport and not too far to drive to the north or south. My biggest concern about this condo was that it is so close to the highway and you can hear a lot of traffic noise most of the day. Wailua beach is right next to the unit, but right across the highway is an old abandoned/burnt out building that I think used to be a hotel. It’s scribbled with graffiti and just looks very unsightly. If you sit on the lanai, one chair has a beautiful view of the ocean but if you look the other way you just see this ugly building and busy highway. That being said, the owners were very responsive and it is a good value in a convenient area so I would recommend checking it out.

My husband and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our tenth anniversary. We spent each morning exploring this gorgeous island and each evening relaxing on the lanai or a beach nearby, and it was perfect.
The condo is clean and tidy. You can get a great breeze going through, we were never uncomfortable. We elected to grab groceries and cook in the condo most nights, and we had everything we needed.
The lanai is really the showstopper for this property—you can watch the sun rise over the Pacific, and the waves are crashing right in front of you.
If you like having a great home base to go exploring Kauai, this is the place you’ve been looking for. The location is very central, so Waimea and Hanalei are both within reasonable traveling distance. Enjoy!

Only thing that caught us off guard was that there are no more trees blocking the freeway and graffitied Coco palms resort that sits to the right of the lanai view. It’s a cute little quiet place right on the water. Unfortunate there are termites in the unit and they had someone come in and spray however we never saw them actually come into the property to spray. We had to buy our own hand soap. According to the property manager, they only give one soap out per visit. Little silly to share one bottle of hand soap for 8 nights between two people during COVID. It’s a middle unit so the noise from people stomping upstairs got pretty loud when the kids were in the unit above us. The location is nice. Traffic can get a little congested from time to time. Pretty views of the ocean though.

Beautiful oceanfront view--you are right next to the waves. We loved eating almost every meal at the lanai. Bedroom was comfortably air-conditioned. Overall many thoughtful touches--we really appreciated the washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, smart TV, beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie board. Conveniently situated for getting anywhere around the island. Hosts were communicative and accommodating.
