My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Princeville. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood in a golf course community. Location was great. Mountain view from the Lanai was spectacular. Interior of condo was a little dated but it was very comfortable. Kitchen had all that we needed. Bed was comfortable and AC was great but was really only needed for a hour or two in the afternoon once we got home for our day's adventures. Recommend putting this on your list of possibilities for your upcoming trip to the north end of Kauai.

We landed and had to fine this place in the dark - it was difficult as there was no "Hale Moi" sign as indicated. When we thought we found the spot we could only see a 200 apartment number. We realized later the 100 numbers were on the bottom of the condos that weren't visible when pulling in parking spot in pitch black.
The place was great. Extremely comfortable bed. Super cute place with great views (when clouds were'nt impeding the mountains). Lovely touches. Very clean and great comms with the property manager.
15 min walk to the beach. 3 min walk to Hideaway pizza was great (when it was open).
Felt safe in swanky "subdivision".

This apartment has everything you need. It’s cozy, quiet, clean, has amazing view into the green backyard and is in a great location. We especially enjoyed the balcony and cozy couch during rainy weather. The bed is comfortable and in a loft (reachable via ladder). We’d come back here in the future!

Do not stay at this property!! The owner is unfeeling, unethical and only cares about money. My wife broke her ankle. We requested to change our reservation so she had a chance to recover. We chose a date that he had no reservation. He refused stating it would be bad for his budget. We lost everything we had paid because he wouldn't give us any money back. He even kept the cleaning fee. There are better properties in Princeville. Don't risk what we did. Rent somewhere else. Also, be aware that you have to climb a ladder to get to the bedroom.

We loved our stay in this condo - it was really clean, the location was great and the bed was very comfortable. The condo is in a quiet community which was perfect for myself and my husband. The only negative was parking, one night we came back from dinner and none of the permit spots were open. We had to sit and wait for about 10 minutes until someone left. Was still a 5 star stay!

Condo was exactly as described and more. Many amenities, which was helpful for our short stay. Loved the privacy off the back patio, even the rooster crowing in the morning. Loft bedroom was easy and quaint. Other reviews spoke of noise, but we had no issues.
Location is within walking distance of multiple beaches, restaurants, shops, golf, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This VRBO had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. It is really close to a beach and a lookout that’s great for sunsets and we ended up loving the mountain views from the patio. The added bonus of having some beach chairs and towels to use ended up really coming in handy! The place is cute and cozy and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is PERFECT. It had everything we needed and the ac worked great. You will never miss a sunset being so close to Sunset Outlook. Daniel was a great host. He was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to any questions. And there wasn’t a long chore list for check out (which is rare these days!). We also enjoyed all of the beach gear. Would highly recommend this unit and host.

We really liked this place. It was in a quiet spot with a wonderful view from the balcony of the lush, green mountains. The A/C worked great. You have to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping area and there was no separate door to the area but that was all clearly described in the description and was not a problem for us. The A/C reached that area vey nicely so we were always cool at night, which I have found to be essential when staying in Kauai in August. I highly recommend this place for anyone that does not have a problem climbing the short ladder to the sleeping area.

We had everything we needed for stay, kitchen was stocked, beach items were included- cooler, chairs and towels. Martie was so helpful with promptly answering any questions we had. The location is so beautiful especially looking out the lanai to the mountains, foilage and even a rainbow welcomed us our first morning there. We were able to walk down to Hideaway Beach (wear appropriate footwear, its steep) and we also walked over to Queens bath (again wear good footwear). Since there is no washer and dryer, we are thankful we planned accordingly. Thanks again Martie. We definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed my stay at this condo over in Princeville. The location was pretty prime, walking distance to the Makai golf course, Hideaway Beach, and 1Hotel. Also was a very short drive into Hanalei which made getting around a breeze.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with AC that made some of the warmer evenings more bearable. The lanai was beautiful and I often enjoyed breakfast or coffee out there on a nice morning. This would be a great unit for anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay up in Princeville and positions you close to some of the best attractions up there. Would definitely recommend to friends or family!
Couple small areas of improvement:
- The beach gear felt pretty outdated (aside from chairs). The umbrella had definitely seen better days and the snorkels were both broken in certain areas which was disappointing.
- Parking was a tad bit confusing at first not realizing that I was in the studio and not the loft unit. Wound up figuring it out and worked out fine but the spaces do fill up in the evenings so just plan accordingly.

The unit was surprisingly spacious, with a comfy bed and couch, a pleasant lanai, and a fully equipped kitchen. The view from the overlook was spectacular, and just steps away. Do reserve the shuttle in advance if you're planning to visit Haena Beach Park or Ke'e Beach. The fans provided good air circulation, and the a/c worked fine when we needed it. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Loved the area and the condo! The balcony was great to sit out on and watch the birds and rainbows!
We were able to walk to Queens Bath which was amazing ( slippery at the start) but worth it. The sunrise lookout was also great and we went for lunch at Hanelei Bay Resort too.
We stayed four nights which was perfect as we had stayed four nights in Poipu.
Would definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I loved our stay at Hale Moi. Our condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed having coffee with our jungle and mountain views. It was also Hideaway beach was a short 10 minute walk and we enjoyed spending many days relaxing and snorkelling there. We spotted sea turtles there on more than one occasion.
We also loved going for morning runs on the pathways in Princeville. Overall it was an amazing stay!
