We stayed at Cary’s condo for a month. The place had everything we needed, from coffee grinder to beach gear to blender. Cary was a very responsive & communicative host too. We could not have asked for more.

My family of four stayed in this unit for 7 days in November of 2023. The unit was clean, well stocked and ready for us when we arrived.
The unit is on the third floor and looks out onto the landscaping so it's actually fairly private. You can barely see the ocean from the back lanai. Unit has boogie boards, coolers and beach chairs ready to go which was wonderful.
With the two queen beds upstairs, both of my kids had their own (shared) space to relax. The master downstairs has a comfortable bed (relative, I guess). Walking down to the end of the property, you can sit in the Adirondack chairs and look over the ocean (beautiful!). Pool is actually really great. The front desk allowed us to store our suitcases when we checked out since our flight was the redeye that night. They also provided pool keys for us to enjoy the pool on our last day after we checked out of the unit.
The only hiccup was that the registation office issued us digital card keys that this unit does not have for access and the unit requires a physical key that doesn't have a keypad lockbox next to the door. So we had to head back to the office to get the physical key before getting in and we had to keep track of the sole key during our stay (recommend to owner: either upgrading the lock to the digital system or getting a keypad key holder mounted near the door).
I would definitely stay here again. Great location and property! If you haven't been to Kauai before, it's absolutely amazing.

Beautiful second-story condo love that part to be able to leave the doors and windows open to feel the breeze. Terry was a great host and communication with A++++. Condo was well stocked with kitchen items and also baby play pen and highchair, everything to do with the beach is in the closet. The Cliffs are very easy-going place to stay in Princeville.

We had a great time! View is spectacular. The condo is perfectly appointed with and everything you could need. I was a bit surprised by how small the kitchen and living areas were for how many the unit sleeps. But it was still comfy for our party of 8.

This condo was not in a rentable condition, and the posting was false advertising.
Upon arrival in the evening we could not gain entry through the keypad lock because the battery needed replacement. Cliffs security was able to gain entry to let us in.
There was no WiFi information in the room. Cliffs maintenance came to replace the keypad battery and set up WiFi in the morning.
The condo information binder was missing its cover, was ratty and contained outdated info.
The carpeting and living room rug were dirty and stained.
The faux wood flooring was delaminating and coming up, the result of a water heater link some time ago. The most severely damaged area was covered by two runner rugs. The area was spongy to walk on and a tripping hazard.
The drapes over one of the sliders were sagging.
There was no DVD player in the living room, the batteries for the remotes for TV and DVD in the bedroom were expended. Only one spare AAA.
The lighting was dim. Lamps had 3-way sockets but single wattage bulbs.
A paper taped to the wall asked guests to excuse the mess as renovations were planned. Not mentioned in VRBO post.
Good points: all appliances worked, fridge, full stove and microwave were recent, kitchen counter also good and recent. Cliffs staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good location. Have pictures.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cliffs. The property is excellent with a very nice pool, as well as sport court. We like staying up in Princeville as it has amenities nearby, and one of our favourite beaches, Hanalei Bay. The unit was very spacious and pretty clean. We had our two-year-old that slept in the pack and play in the master bedroom and our other two boys slept upstairs in the loft. We had sent a few messages leading up to our trip, clarifying how to check in that went unanswered, but we finally heard back and figured everything out. Once we had a personal cell phone number of Valerie, communication was much easier. We checked in quite late and had to get a key from the front desk. It was very handy to have children’s equipment, as well as beach equipment, however, as other people mentioned, a lot of it needs to be replaced. We sorted through a lot of snorkel gear to find some that worked. A few of the boogie boards were cracked and the umbrella didn’t work. But it was very handy to have a high chair, beach chairs, and sand toys. My kids liked walking along the grounds behind the unit to look for fallen avocados in the morning. Overall I would recommend this unit, and we would stay here again.

For what we were charged, this place in my opinion should be pristine and a 5 Star hotel situation. Keylock battery needed to be replaced so the keycards would work. Fan in living area broke, had to call for service. Refrigerator is rusted. The bathroom shower curtain bar is corroded as was the metal trash can in there. Pictures in the dining area were smeared and dirty. Cabinets in kitchen were greasy, sticky and gross. Patio light is all rusted and corroded and halfway hanging off ceiling. Pictures in bedroom are hung haphazardly. One behind bed so headboard was hitting it. One behind the TV and one on side of big dresser. Shower heads and towel bars all corroded. And we had ants. It’s horribly outdated and needs some serious attention!

Our condo was clean, wonderfully updated, kitchen amenities well supplied and view was incredible out back porch! Communication with registration was excellent. Our unit was Close to pool, activity center and short walk to cliffs for wonderful sunsets! The grounds were kept up beautifully.

Exactly what we needed without knowing we did. We have been fortunate to be able to visit Princeville on a few occasions and we have FOUND our spot. The condo what the perfect space for us and our two kids (8 & 10) they had enough space and privacy and so did the adults. The view from the lanai is stunning and I could stop there. The rooms are all spacious, beds and couches comfy enough tables and chairs for inside or outside eating. The condo property is fabulous as well with tennis, pickle ball, a playground, a pool and enormous amounts of green space ❤️❤️ will definitely be coming back but don’t tell anyone 😀

The rental was as presented. The four bedrooms were nice for our group. However, the one bathroom had a clogged tub. We reached out for support and got an immediate response that it would be taken care of. To make a long story short, the drain was never fixed during our stay and we had a gross backed-up shower. The service was overpromised and under-delivered. It's funny how the little things can make a great vacation a frustrating vacation. If the problem was fixed the rental and location would be great. SImple fix!

We had the best time on our family vacation! Spending time with our daughter and son in law in this beautiful place was very memorable. I'd definitely rent this unit again!
The unit was well appointed with everything you'd need in the kitchen, more than any other place I've rented, beach supplies, laundry amenities, beach & pool towels, ice chests, etc. They even provided binoculars. I saw a whale while having my morning coffee near the hammock which is right in front of the building.The beds were super comfortable and there are extra linens if needed. There is also books and movies which we enjoyed. The owner was very responsive and he updated us on things before our arrival that he thought we should know about. Looking forward to a return visit!

We really enjoyed our stay in this Princeville, Kauai condo! It worked out great for our 4 couples each having their own room and bathroom. We had a little flood from the washing machine while there…but lucky we caught it pretty quick and it cleaned up well with the tile floors saving the day. If I could change anything I would suggest the condo be stocked with beach items like snorkel gear, paddle boards, and beach chairs, but other then kind of missing those things we’ve been spoiled with from previous Vrbo stays it was a great place! Beautiful view from the kitchen and patio to wake up to and have breakfast! Thanks for an awesome place to rest our heads after our adventure filled days in Kauai! It was great!

My family loved our stay at Charlene and Roger's rental at the Cliffs in Princeville! It was perfect and we loved the views of the ocean right out the back patio! It was exactly what we expected based on the listing description and everything was in good order. We especially liked how there were boogie boards, beach chairs and some snorkel equipment and other beach toys available for our kids. Even I did some boogie boarding, haha! Our kids loved the relative privacy of the loft where they slept and the roosters kept us from sleeping in too late so we could hit the beaches!

Our group had a really nice visit in Kauai and enjoyed our accommodation at The Cliffs. The property was perfect for the 4 adults in our group.
The property itself is very nice and the condo is perfect for a group of 2-6 people. It is so well equipped. The best place I have stayed being well equipped for cooking. Lots and lots of pots/pans/plates/cutlery etc etc. Also enough herbs and spices to making cooking possible. We did a lot of our own cooking and the bbq areas for The Cliffs are also fantastic. We enjoyed this location as our base to explore the entire island and especially the beaches of Ke'e, Tunnels and Lumihai. They are all pretty close by.
A couple of things that could be better.
1) It is very easy to lock your keys in the unit. We did not, but it is for sure possible. Check for keys before closing the door. Also, the master bedroom locks easily if you are not careful.
2) The communication with the owner is so so. We had a problem with checkin due to flights changing. The person that booked the place (me), arrived later than others in the party. I told the owner about this and was told The Cliffs would be notified. They were not and it took some negotiating for the group to get in. It created needless stress as we had one person in our group that has Parkinsons.
The issues I mention are not huge and I would definitely recommend this place to those considering a trip to Kauai.

We spent 9 days in this little gem in Princeville. The two balcony’s were fantastic. The back balcony has a beautiful mountain view and the birds came to visit us each morning. Greg and Eva Maria were great hosts and always provided timely responses. We would definitely stay again.

We have just arrived home from a 2 week visit to Poipu and Princeville. We spent 6 days at Jerry and Barbara’s beautiful condo. This is oceanfront and pictures do not lie!
This condo has everything you might need! It was immaculately clean. The grounds are beautiful and even the grill was clean! We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was perfect for our weeklong trip to Kauai for two. It’s in a great location with easy access to both Hanalei and Kilauea. There is also a Foodland grocery nearby in Princeville which was convenient. The place was clean and well-stocked with a nice kitchen, extra linens and towels, and all the beach gear you could need. The bed was super comfy and there was a nice cross breeze that kept it cool at night. Check-in and checkout were easy. I’d highly recommend this stay!

We had a lovely time at Terry's place. We found the rooms were very clean. Amenities on the property were great, and the location is good not far from the shopping centre. Rosters were very vocal early but we got accustomed to that as they are everywhere on the island. We were surprised to learn about renovations in the condos surrounding / above us upon check in, we weren't expecting that. However it turned out to be minor during our stay. Air conditioning would have been a plus but we made it work for our stay. Overall we found it a very nice stay at the condo .

The property was clean and very comfortable. It was very well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment and towels. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking items and also everyday spices. Veronica responded very quickly with a question about the Wifi. The area around the condo was clean and lush. Complimentary bikes were a big plus. We had a great time and would definitely consider renting from here again.
