This is a great place overlooking the north shore of Kauai. It has everything you need (and sometimes two of what you need). Very well stocked and comfortable place to stay. The view from the balcony overlooking the cliff is incredible and a great place to spend your extra down time. Loved it loved it loved it!

We really enjoyed being at this VRBO. We arrived Super Bowl Sunday and their was a party at the rec center happening, great food and fun atmosphere. . I received texts daily about things happening at The Cliffs Condos. Ie: History/natural talks, happy hour, etcThe condo unit was perfect. Full kitchen, nicely appointed. And a terrific view. The grounds were clean and well manicured.

My husband and I joined family staying at The Cliffs. The Simpson condo was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed! Exquisite views, rainbows each morning, grounds excellent for birding, very clean grills perfect for grilling fresh Mahi Mahi and close to shopping, beaches and tourist destinations! We couldn’t have asked for more!

-Noise Issues: Noise from neighboring units was a concern, as the construction of The Cliff properties tends to amplify sounds from outside into the master bedroom.

We have just arrived home from a 2 week visit to Poipu and Princeville. We spent 6 days at Jerry and Barbara’s beautiful condo. This is oceanfront and pictures do not lie!
This condo has everything you might need! It was immaculately clean. The grounds are beautiful and even the grill was clean! My husband and I travel frequently and we would not have any hesitation staying at this condo again. Thank you, Jerry and Barbara for making this visit one we will never forget.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The views and location on the property were great. The unit was super clean, inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed in the bathrooms. There were also a lot of beach/leisure items available for our use (chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc.). In some ways the unit is dated (popcorn ceiling, tile countertops, etc.), but it did not take away from our enjoyment of the property.

Our trip to Kauai was absolutely amazing, and staying at this property was the icing on the cake. It was clean, very comfortable, with everything one needs from kitchen to beach accessories. Too many thoughtful details to mention. And the pictures do not do the view justice. Absolutely beautiful! We pretty much lived out on the lanai, it is that incredible! The owner went above and beyond to provide us with property, as well as island information. He checked in with us a few times before our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. The Cliff's personnel were equally as friendly and accommodating. This property is situated in a quiet, safe, convenient area. No negatives here, only a strong desire to return ASAP! We have stayed at over a half dozen VRBOs. This was the best yet! Well supplied kitchen. Great utensils, storage stuff, spices, appliances. Great layout, 2nd bathroom is a plus. Very courteous and helpful staff at The Cliffs. The Cliffs pool and jacuzzi seemed over-chlorinated, and upstairs neighbors a bit noisy, but that is not under owner's control. You will love dining on the ocean view lanai!

This condo was perfect for our trip. It was nice and clean and the air conditioner in the bedroom was so appreciated. The location was wonderful. The only downside to our trip was parking at beaches. Other condos offered free shuttle service and that would have been nice but overall we had an amazing experience.

The unobstructed view of the ocean from the lanai was stunning - from sunrise to sunset. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment needed to prepare our own meals. Unit is not air conditioned - stand alone unit in bedroom only which helped but mostly relied on the breeze blowing through the unit

This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean, even by Princeville standards.
The owners spend a fair amount of time there so it’s outfitted with many extras that made our stay comfortable.
The Cliffs staff is excellent with a special shout out to Tiffany and Bea.
Restaurants, a large grocery store and shopping are a five minute drive (we actually were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go).
Hanalei is a ten minute drive away with plenty of options to enhance your stay.
We were happy we found this special spot.

This was easy to rate at 5 stars in all categories. "Just bring your swimming suits" really is true. We appreciated having a supply of paper goods, laundry supplies and kitchen spices and cookware. Bikes and pool toys came in handy. We would definitely stay there again. We felt right at home.

We had a great stay at the Cliffs and would come again! The condo had everything we needed, including a great view (especially at sunset), a stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed, 2 full baths, and A/C. The resort also has an awesome pool area with multiple pools/hot tubs, including an adults-only hot tub area which was great after a long hike. The resort staff was very helpful, even calling around to find us a taxi to Hanalei for dinner and back.

We stayed here for a beautiful 4 days. Condo was just right for all or our needs and condo owner was prompt with answering any questions. We enjoyed the pool and shuffleboard courts as well as touring the island. You can watch beautiful sunsets each night without leaving the condo or go out to the chairs on the lawn. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had a really nice stay here, enjoyed the breezy and private lanai listening to birds and watching the ocean and sky. Location is great for exploring the whole north end of the island by car, and the complex also has bikes which made it easy to bike around in the neighborhood to see sunsets, a local art market, to a happy hour nearby, and to the grocery store. Condo had everything we needed (and more really) for a comfortable stay. Owner was attentive in making sure we had everything we needed before and after check-in. Wish I was still there!

This condo had absolutely everything you would need. The view from the lanai, and the kitchen is incredibly beautiful. Staying in Princeville insured we were close to Hanalei Bay and a bunch of beautiful little beaches. The condo had air-conditioning in the bedroom, which was perfect. There was a nice breeze in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen had every imaginable tooll! There was a great fitness center and the pool is gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Can't say enough good things about this unit. It was such a nice place for my husband and I to spend the week. First, the view is amazing! The furnishings were outstanding. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and none of them have come close to providing all the great kitchen and dining tools this one has. Bedding was comfortable. The living room furniture was great, too. Highly recommend this unit.

This condo is perfect! It's spacious, bright and breezy with 2 decks and lots of windows, amazing view of the Ocean - even from the kitchen! That kitchen was a joy to cook in.
The Cliffs resort had a welcoming reception desk and concierge to assist with activities, excursions and great knowledge of the island.

The pictures really don't do this place justice. It was a perfect place to decompress from a hectic life. There is a nice ocean view from this property and The Cliffs resort that it’s in is really nice! There were lots of things provided, from the pools/hot tubs to the tennis courts and more. The unit itself provided much of what we needed, such as coolers and other things for the beach. It was a little hot inside but there is a small standalone AC unit with some fans to help. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to come back!

We stayed first week with time share Bldg 7 so this condo in Bldg 9 was great to have close when moving . Very homey and comfortable condo with amazing views too. Be aware of ceiling fan in bedroom if your husband is 6’ 6” .LOL

First, the view is great, the bed is comfy and the AC was excellent.. But that's not the real story....the real story us the owner's meticulous attention to detail.. Wow! My husband and myself stayed in this wonderful condo while celebrating my husband’s retirement. We loved the convenient location and all the great amenities the condo had. We enjoyed using the new beach chairs at Hanalei and Tunnels beach. Two beautiful beaches that are close by to the condo. Jerry was a wonderful host and made us feel welcome and cared for. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

More spacious than appears in pictures and the most comfortable bed as I think I’ve ever slept in. Tons of kitchen stuff. Loved leaving the lanai door open with the screen to hear the waves. Ac in just the bedroom more than adequate. Pool area is very nice with multiple hot tubs and other pool areas. The food trucks were great to have when I didn’t feel like going anywhere. Would absolutely recommend to anyone planning on staying on the north side who is traveling alone or as a couple.

We were here for 5 days in September. We made sure to bring flashlights because we heard that streetlights are few; the condo had like 5 of them. Binoculars- ditto. Coolers - check! I feel that, if we mentioned something missing, the owners would have it there for the next guest. Loved sitting on the lanai and watching the nenes fly in every morning.

This is a beautiful condo in the beautiful area of Princeville. From the balcony is an unimpeded view of the ocean. The bedroom is spacious and it was such a treat to have two bathrooms for just the two of us! Jerry was extremely thoughtful and communicative throughout (and even starting months before our stay).
He sent me information about the activities available around the property (eg farmer's markets, morning yoga, water painting classes) without me even asking. Importantly, he informed me that Ke'e beach now requires a reservation. I've been to Kauai twice before and I would have been really disappointed to find out about after I arrived.
It was also extremely impressive how well stocked this condo was! They've thought of *everything*. Seriously! And whoever is taking care of their property does an excellent job organizing everything. The attention to detail is darn near astounding.
Then there is the balcony area. What a highlight. Not only a beautiful place to take in a sunset, but a great place to eat each meal. There is even an amazingly quiet outdoor ceiling fan to manage the heat.

We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Kauai, made even better by our lovely accommodations. The sunset ocean view was AMAZING!!! There's no need to go anywhere...you can just melt away watching the waves all day. The owners are so kind, thoughtful and responsive. They provided SUPER comfortable plush seating, a well-stocked kitchen (including spices), and useful beach equipment (coolers, umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, towels). The carpet throughout was sink-down plush under bare feet. (Make sure you remove shoes as Hawaiian red clay infamously causes serious stains). We used the free and convenient concierge service to book fun adventures and borrowed free tennis rackets/balls from the front desk. We hit the jackpot in finding such a great rental unit and gracious hosts that truly care and embody the ultimate in hospitality. It was AWESOME!!!

Honestly, I hate to write this review! But, here it goes....
I don't like writing it because I want to keep this amazing humble beautiful home away from home a secret to just my wife and I! I don't want others to know about it so we can keep it locked away as a paradise only we get to know about BUT, that would be unfair to Barb and Jerry Simpson who own the condo :( So, I would do them well by stating this. We love this home! We love it and have come back 8 times in 12 years. Our friends think we need to go somewhere else, another island, another condo, another continent! But no, year after year we come back like birds of migration to this cute tidy wonderful condo on the cliffs of Kauai in the northern sector called Princeville time after time. It is clean and updated always! It has everything we need to have our peaceful stay in paradise and I mean seriously, paradise!
The facilities are beautiful, the recreation facilities are wonderful, the concierge's are very good and knowledgeable of everything one would want to do on the whole island from a local perspective. The views are gorgeous of 180 degree view of the ocean right off of the lanai and kitchen. The bed is super soft and comfortable and we can not wake up it is so plush. They have chairs, coolers, mats, boogie board, umbrella, and anything to make a guest feel right at home. My wife Karrie and I will plan to come back again and again until we die. Or die trying! My friend and I had the opportunity to travel to Kauai last June and were able to secure this location last minute. The owners were awesome to work with! Very helpful and made sure you had everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the lanai was spectacular! We would enjoy a leisurely breakfast and dinner on the lanai every day. The location was great too! It was a fairly short drive to several beaches and downtown Princeville. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Aloha and enjoy!

This condo was everything it was advertised to be and more---beautiful view of the ocean, well equipped kitchen, extras such as beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, towels to take to the beach and even a washer and dryer. The decor was lovely and done with excellent taste. For anyone not wanting to spend the day at one of the many beaches there was a variety of activities available at the Cliffs in Princeville including a pool and newly surfaced tennis courts. I strongly recommend this lovely condo with its ocean view and excellent location and hope to return soon.

Where do we start?? As soon as you open the door you know your vacation has begun! The view is spectacular!! The kitchen is fully stocked. The ocean breeze day and night keeps the condo very comfortable. The fans they supply was a bonus! We were so excited to see the beach chair and umbrella!! It made for a great day at the beach. The Cliffs concierge was very helpful in planning any activities you are interested in. The pool is incredible especially after a long day out or if you just want to kick back and relax. While grilling out in their gazebo you just have to look out to the ocean and say "it just doesn't get any better than this!!" We can't say enough about Barb and Jerrys condo. We can't wait to come back!!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 6 nights from June 10 to June 16 and it truly felt like we were right at home. The view of the ocean out from the balcony is such a beautiful site. Whenever I felt like cooking or baking, the kitchen utensils and wares were complete. Washer and dryer in the unit also helped a great deal so we didn't need to pack so much clothes. The unit and community ground were clean and maintained well. Jerald and Barbara really goes out of their way to make sure that we have great experience during our vacation. From the time we made our reservation up until we checked out, they followed up with us for any concern that we may have. I will recommend their condo to my friends and families.

This property is an absolute gem. The view is stunning and worth the booking right there. The owners sent a gift package which uplifting the joy even higher and provided sense of love and care which is exactly what I was seeking in my vacation. The place is clean, decor with tropical feel and having two bathrooms was great for guests. The Cliffs resort provided great care when I had a maintenance issue with a toilet and fixed it immediately. Great breezes all day and night. I used the gym one day too.

We stayed at this Princeville condo to celebrate our 40th anniversary. From the very beginning of our stay, we loved it. The view as we first opened the door was WOW!! The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, with top-notch amenities. We ate most of our meals at the condo, and never lacked for anything in the kitchen. The beach supplies were a special blessing. The fans and air flow in the condo kept us cool and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. All in all, a great experience.
