We had a wonderful week at The Cliffs. The location was perfect and very quiet. A short drive away from the grocery store and a few good restaurants. Very close to Anini Beach and Hanalei. The cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella were very nice to use. The beds were comfortable and the breeze in the evening cooled it down nicely. Our kids loved the pool and we spent time there every day. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kauai.

We had a super vacation at the Cliffs. The property is well maintained. It’s in a central Princeville location on the picturesque North Coast of Kauai. Even with the roosters crowing at all times during the day and night it was a wonderful unforgettable vacation experience. We spent 4 weeks in this condo. I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at the condo. It was prefect for my husband, daughter, and I. Very clean and well appointed and the views were gorgeous. The grounds were very nicely kept and the location adjacent to the pool was perfect. No complaints whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends & family for sure.
FYI if you have not traveled to Kauai before, I recommend that you bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Chickens are part of island life and the roosters start to crow at the first hint of dawn. All part of the experience :)

Beautiful corner unit on 3rd Floor with high ceilings. Ocean and lush garden/pool views from two lanais. Great layout, fully stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay. Master bedroom was very spacious for adults, and upstairs loft perfect for two kids (ages 7 and 10). The Cliffs Resort property is beautiful and well-maintained and we found staff to be kind and helpful. Location is convenient for island activities and very close to Hanalei Bay shopping and restaurants. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay. Condo is clean and had everything we needed. There is a very nice cross breeze between all the windows that keeps the condo cool and there are many fans if the weather is hotter. We enjoyed using the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella on our beach excursions. We really loved being close to the pool where our kids ended up every afternoon. The sound out of pool waterfall was an added bonus. In the evening if there were people in the adult hot tub, we easily closed the sliding doors and they were gone. Great trip all around.

We have been owners for 30 years at the Cliffs Club. We love it here. Stay at the unit was fine. Need to privide beach chairs and cooler. In general, Hawaii is becoming so expensive that we are considering other vacation destinations. Enjoy!

This was a perfect place to stay for the four of us. It was clean and spacious. The view was my favourite! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The little gift of a cooler bag came in handy for the entire trip. We will be back!

This home was perfect for our family of 4. Short drives to all of the North side beaches and other attractions. The home itself is spacious, a great space for us to connect and recover. We enjoyed the sports facilities and the pool. The breeze flowing through the doors and windows kept things cool always. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved our 1st stay and found everything to be as wonderful as we remembered the 1st time.

Overall, this unit and property came as advertised: great location, well kept grounds, and a well appointed unit made for a great stay. The unit easily slept us and we enjoyed using the grills on-site as well as the pool. The beach chairs and umbrella made it very easy to explore nearby beaches without having to rent. Opportunities: the key pickup and drop off is weird. Right when you get into Lihue, you have to go by a random building and pickup physical keys- not key cards- and, when you check out, you have to drop them off to the same location. For our early flight, we had to do this at 4:00 am. They have an office onsite in Princeville so it’s unclear why you can’t just lock the keys in the unit or drop off at the property office. Also, beware that the doors to the units lock just like a hotel would when closed, unless you change this on the lock set itself with the door open. In their excitement, my kids let the door close behind them while moving luggage in and we locked the keys in the unit. The office was open, but they did not have any keys, nor were they helpful with what we should do to get in our unit. They expressed they’d page security to see if they had keys but not sure if they did. Surely, they would have a way to get in every unit, and, surely, this is not the first time this has happened. It’s clear by watching staff clean rooms when guests check out that they have the ability to get in units. Despite being unsure if they could help, we were thankful that security finally was able to locate a key and get us in.Also, the exercise room is quite small and only one or two people can use and there’s no weight bench. The pool was nice but also note that the adult hot tub directly below the unit is a real problem at night. Super loud. We would have to wait until after 10:00 pm to call security and they would clear the people out. Unclear why security wouldn’t do this proactively at 10:00 pm b

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Our unit was perfect. We loved the corner unit view and the setup. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The overall property is very well maintained and quiet. It is a very beautiful place. If you are looking for more action, hot tub parties, and late night conversations, this is not your place. Princeville overall is not that place. We would love to come back and stay here again.

The place was really great and very comfortable. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations. We did have issue with the kitchen appointments. The cookware and knives were actually terrible. It’s really not that difficult to provide adequate cookware and knives for a rental. Also there weren’t any spices provided, not even salt and pepper. We were on vacation in Kauai, so it was only an imposition. We will definitely return, and hopefully these few things will be remedied. Fantastic views!! Great location! Super friendly staff!! A wonderful stay in Kauai. Beautiful, comfy, 3rd floor condo w/actual ocean view! Amazing sunrises from primary bedroom. Loft w/2 QN beds are great for our grown boys. Lanais off family room and primary bedroom. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. There was even veg oil, salt/pepper, plastic wrap & zip lock bags. KVR made sure to have 4 beach chairs, beach towels, 2 body boards and cooler for the beach days for our family. Streaming services available on TV's (use your own accts). FYI-No Shampoo, Conditioner or Lotion provided in bathrooms, just Soap. Washer/Dryer a big plus-laundry detergent & dryer sheets provided. We love Kauai, The Cliffs (4th time staying here, 1st in this unit), but 5-301 is our new favorite.

Loved every minute of our stay. It was nice to have plenty of beds for everyone and space to move around. The 2 porches were nice to seat out on in the mornings and evenings. The only thing I wished we had was a broom and dustpan to be able to sweep the sand off the floors that we would track in.

This condo is clean and bright and open. It was a great place for two couples to share as the living spaces were separated nicely. King bed in master was very comfortable. I always wish there was somewhere to hang wet bathing suits and towels when back from the beach. The fridge needs to be balanced so it quits hitting the wall and the stove is very old, but serviceable enough. We utilized the beach chairs every day. Would be great to have a punch-code lock on the door to eliminate having a key. The ambiance of the pool area is beautiful. Some staff more helpful and honest than others.

So initially I was a bit nervous about 2 things I had read about this property both of which turned out great. 1- no AC... but as it turns out Princeville is very windy and there are cool breezes that come through constantly, enough to keep the apartment very comfortable.
2- I was worried about the hot tub and pool being right outside the master bedroom. With a little bluetooth speaker and a white noise app it covered the noise.
We LOVED this property. The views are amazing. The two balconies are so fun to spend time on. The loft and vaulted ceilings make it feel very spacious and airy. The master is huge and the kitchen and bathrooms are up to date.
There is hot water and good water pressure in the showers. The tub was handy for bathing our little ones.
We loved spending time in the apartment but also made use of the hot tubs and pool. My kids played on the play ground and my son and I used the work out rooms and the tennis courts.
Make sure to make use of the hammock and chairs overlooking the ocean.
They have food trucks and local stores for groceries (*check in with the concierge if you plan to shop at Foodland. They were giving out a 10% off your shopping trip at Foodland coupon when we arrived).
There was a full kitchen and I was able to make meals like I would at home. As far as spices go, the kitchen had only salt and pepper so you'll need to buy spices if you want them.
When we went (end of March beginning of April 2022) they had a nice large Coleman cooler with wheels, 4 beach chairs, 1 large beach umbrella, 4 tennis rackets, 3 tennis balls, and 3 Boogie boards that worked great. The boogie boards are good but are showing wear.
We took our own beach toys and snorkel gear and were glad we did as there weren't any available.
We were told there was no pack n play but there ended up being one in the loft closet. Not knowing this, we had brought our own.
Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, Kleenex, paper towels, BandAids and toilet paper were provided enough for the 9 days we stayed. There was also a vacuum and broom.
There were beach towels and regular towels—however, if you plan to buy towels, I'd recommend doing it at the beginning of your stay or bringing your own because we were constantly needing to wash and dry towels to keep up with our family needs.
The couches and chairs and beds were comfortable.
We loved the location and views.
If we come back to Kauai we'd book this exact rental again. Thanks!

This condo was great, the location was as expected. It was very clean the beds are okay (typical of a vacation rental). Kitchen is stocked well enough. The condo had beach chairs and and a cooler to use, that was nice. The only bad part was that there is no electronic lock, you have to pick up keys in Lihue and then keep track of physical keys during your stay. It's not terrible but certainly a hassle and a bit outdated. I would stay here again it was set up great for a family with kids.
