This studio has just about all you would need for your stay. There was plenty of kitchen supplies to make an uncomplicated meal (can only use one appliance at a time to avoid blowing a fuse), snorkeling gear, and bathroom amenities. The outdoor area was where we spent most of our time. Neighborhood is beautiful. Only thing of note is that the sink to do dishes in takes a bit to drain, but if you have the patience it works totally fine! Thanks for the stay!

The host let us check in earlier, and she answered quickly to all our questions during the stay. She provided all the things needed for the beach, such as chairs, umbrella, fridge bag, surf boards, etc. Moreover she prepared books with a lot of useful information about hikes, beaches and restaurants. Overall it was an amazing stay, if we will ever be back to Kauai we will book again. Mahalo!

My husband and I stayed at the studio / suite for 2 nights to explore Princeville and Hanalei. Nice condo development; the foliage and landscaping is so pretty. The unit itself is up a steep flight of narrow stairs. We have no mobility issues, but had large suitcases due to being on the islands for several weeks, and struggled to lug them up and the stairs and back down for arrival / departure. Just something to note. The accommodation is very quaint -- the outdoor lanai is the best part. Indoors, it's a tight space, furniture felt too bulky for such a petite room. No kitchen other than fridge, micro, coffee pot & kettle means you won't be making meals here. There's lots of great dining out options, though. The pool area was just OK; very lackluster and filled with boisterous children. This is definitely a family-friendly property so be prepared for that. The unit backs to the main road and we heard some passing traffic noise, but it didn't keep us awake. We also encountered a few housekeeping issues with the unit but the wonderful host took care of them immediately and most graciously. Excellent communication from the host from start to finish which we greatly appreciated. We'd probably stay elsewhere next time, but that is due to our own personal preferences for more space and quiet. For a couple nights, at a great pricepoint, this is is a central, nice spot for which to explore the beautiful north coast. Mahalo!

Great condo. All the amenities of home. No AC so all the windows have to stay open which means you hear everthing in the complex. Neighbors are quite by 10ish pm. Location is great for the north shore. About 45min to the south shore. Overall great place.

This condo was immaculate and very quiet. It was perfect for two of us, but it could sleep two more in the open loft. We loved sitting on the lanai in the evenings and watching the sunset. The location is only a 10-minute drive from Hanalei, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and food trucks. We would love to have stayed longer here, and we would definitely book this place again.

The condo was perdect! It is in a great location and has all the amenities we needed for our stay. I booked this place for a friend and I to stay while we visited for a wedding so the in-unit washer/dryer was so handy. Plus there is a second bedroom up in the loft that is hard to see by the pictures alone - it was super convenient for us and I bet it would be the perfect amount of space for a family or a few friends to split.
Mike was also super communicative before and during my reservation. Check in was a breeze and the house rules and requests list in the unit made checkout easy as well.

This was a great place with all of the amenities that we needed. The only thing is that there are multiple things that should be replaced. The shower curtain rod is askew, as well as the toilet paper holder. Otherwise it was clean and cooled down quite a bit in the evening 💕

We had a great stay while here! The location was great. Right next to the golf course and close to the Princeville shopping plaza and grocery. We were able to walk to Hideaway Beach down the road and the drive to Hanalei Bay was no more than 10 minutes. The place was clean and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable ones I've ever slept on! Would recommend it here.

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy studio in Princeville, close to Hanalei and some great hikes, beaches, and food. The AC and porch really helped, as did the convenient parking. Kitchenette was pretty bare but worked for our brief stay. I wasn't able to get the TV working but that could just be me Only other gripe is that a few things could be updated or cleaned - the shower and its curtain could use a good scrub, for example.

The condo was easy to find and the reserved parking spot was close. Everything in the condo was well organized and clean. All the comforts you need for 12 days (or longer). Fantastic kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans. Lovely dappled shade on lanai with plenty of outdoor chairs and coffee table. Ate our breakfasts on the lanai every morning. Mike was the best! Responded quickly to our texts and was eager to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Princeville is a great area and we walked to Hideaway Viewpoint Park several times for the sunset. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The manager was great and helped us with any little problems we had. Just special note it’s not super quick with a lot of little things that you think you might need. There are some nice things that have been left by previous people. It is definitely not set up for you to cook in anyway. Only a microwave to warm things. If you think you’re going to be able to cook there, you definitely cannot. Refrigerator is small sized. This is for anyone with a family or a small budget and not wanting to eat out all the time.

Overall an average place to stay. Good amenities and comfortable bed. Close to Princeville and Hanalei. Couldn’t use the kitchenette and had to wash down all cups and utensils because of the many small roaches of all sizes visibly moving in and out of drawers and cupboards. We put out Hoyhoy traps and took pictures of the many roaches stuck on those traps in both kitchen and bathroom sink areas to send to the hostess. She was responsive at all emails sent and reimbursed our cost of traps. Other things that can be improved are the rusty screen and patio glass doors that were difficult to open and close. The stairs to this unit is very steep even though we are retired and physically fit. Other improvements were the dusty floors for which we had to wear our slippers at all times and the deflated sponge seats of the two rattan chairs in the unit. We liked the hostess and she was helpful!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at West's studio in Princeville! We were on the island for a week, and this was the perfect spot for a couple. The studio was very clean and well stocked for a week at the beach. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, noodles, umbrella, and coolers West has for guests to use. The outdoor kitchen was also great and very well stocked for a VRBO (I've made many a vacation meal with far fewer utensils and cooking implements). The sink is inside, which you will read about on other reviews, but it's a very large kitchen sink, so doing dishes there was no issue.
West was also super communicative throughout our stay. He made check-in and check-out very easy, and he is next door if you run into any issues or have other questions during your stay. I would definitely recommend West's place to other couples looking to spend some time on the north shore!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this condo. The photos don't do it justice for how much space you get. The lanaei was probably our favorite part, we loved sitting out there listening to the birds or the rain while we had breakfast. The bed was a nice, but on the firm side, memory foam which was pleasant for our long stay. Close to many beautiful beaches and delicious bites of food. We also appreciated being able to use the cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels. The only negative that hindered us a little was that the washer gave our clothes a terrible odor during the first wash or two. Otherwise the place is on the older side so it could use updates here and there but I think you get a real gem for your money and Janet was very accommodating! We would come back!

This place is perfect for a short stay. It's small, but the lanai makes it larger and becomes the living/dining room. Pool is great, communication with owner easy. Note that there is no kitchen, but there is a small toaster, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, so it's perfect for preparing breakfasts and lunches and warming up takeout. Comfortable bed, and I love the key-less entry.

Overall this was a fine place to stay in a good location that gets the job done, especially if you’re on a budget.
The good: Amazing location, lots of beach gear provided (boogie boards, surfboard, cooler, snorkeling gear, chairs, and more), big lanai (deck), necessary amenities included, your own reserved parking space.
The not-as-good: I did see 2 tiny cockroaches and a gecko in the unit. Not unreasonable however for the climate, and given the kitchen is outdoors on the lanai. The unit does get pretty warm because the bathroom has a mesh window onto the lanai (outside). The A/C worked fine but with the fan and A/C on it was kind of loud in the unit.
All in all will get the job done and be a decent place to stay.

It is a motel room with a couple of upgrades not a studio.
Did not have entry instructions as no internet, extremly stressful locating it in dark and rain. Had to ask a local to log me into their internet to obtain instructions. Need for earlier instructions for internationals.
Room has nice appointments, however no comfortable seating, sliding door does not slide, vent on patio blows hot air.
It was very clean, good shower, although bathroom setup odd.
No a/c, only fans, needed front door open for flow thru ventilation. Queen bed, cable TV, internet.
No access to beach and no parking at beach.
Good shopping centre within 5 minute drive.
Princeville nice area.

This was an awesome location with tons of beach amenities. There is a house on the lanai to make it easy to clean up after a beach day. It was a very quiet neighborhood and easy access to the north shore. We loved our stay here.
We did have some trouble with the check-in process. It was not very clear the unit number we were in. We also arrived in the dark, and so we struggled finding where to go to find the correct unit. There is a map on the property, but we didn’t notice it until the next morning. Some clarification finding the unit would be great.
