The room was comfortable for our short stay on Kauai. The bed was comfortable and the host provided items for the mini-kitchen, books, extra towels and fans for our stay. Although there isn't AC, in December, the air gets cool enough that we were comfortable. The location was close to the golf course and on the edge of it had a sidewalk walking path and was great for a morning or afternoon walk. The room is near places to eat and explore. We did have an issue with the code when we arrived, but I was able to contact the host and she settled it immediately. In fact, the 2 times I called, she was readily available. We look forward to visiting Kauai again and hopefully get another one of her rentals.

My daughter and fell in love with this condo! From the moment I booked this vacation, I knew I had made the right decision. Kimberlee was so helpful and accommodating. She was so helpful and patient when I had to make some changes. The condo is amazing!! I have been to Kauai 3 times and this was definitely my favorite place. I will definitely be returning. I just love being in Princeville. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The condo is exactly as pictured but they don’t do it justice. The personal touches and plants made it feel so inviting. Kimberlee's place was very tastefully arranged and organised, with plenty of little attentions. The space was large for a one bedroom, and we found most of the comfort we were looking for. She was very easy to communicate with and the check-in and out processes were very easy.The only watchout we'd advise to keep in mind is that the construction, as is pretty common in Kauai, includes venitian blinds as walls to let the air in (when opened). This means the sound insulation isn't ideal (to no fault of the owner, it's just the architecture of the area), and since you're staying near a small road, you're likely to want to use earplugs at night if you're sensitive to noise in the evenings/early mornings. We did ok, and again it's a fairly standard construction standard on the island, so you're likely to find this in most places you rent. But better be a little prepared!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was on the road to Hanalei which is where we wanted. Loved the walkability and the scenic views on foot. Place was clean and appreciated having clean floors to walk on, clean bed to sleep in and a washer/dryer.

VRBO should audit their listings more often. Princeville is nice but this place wasn’t what i expected. A nice bedside Cockroach was first thing I noticed when walking in and Construction was going on at all hours of the night and unfortunately they didn’t stop when asked to. These VRBO owners are all about the money and not the quality of your stay. Beware I warned you.

Hard to find properties, you need to live here to know how to find yoyr unit, absolute no parking available unless the host makes their assigned parking spot available for use, oir host did not. Our assigned parking was used and we didotn have a place to park, major inconvenience. Hard to find the unit even with instructions from host, GPS puts you on other side of property. Not the best place to stay for 1st time visitor's, this is more appropriate for current residents. Not very accommodated.

VRBO was very clean, accommodating and comfortable. The host was kind and easy to communicate with. We had an issue with the upstairs neighbors blaring music and chatting very late into the night. We were very close to a busy street, which wasn’t ideal.

We loved the pool, hot tub, and grills. Very clean with comfortable beds. It would be helpful to know there are 2 parking lots. As well as which lot is closest to the apartment.It's a bit tricky to navigate the property and find the proper apartment # in the dark. Once we found the 2nd hidden parking lot it was easier.

Unit was not very well equipped. Remotes had no batteries. There was no toaster. Dishes and silverware were minimal. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. Could use a hot plate in addition to the microwave. The ventilation lovers are frozen in position. There were no ice cube trays there is no lock on the screen door. There is no furniture for clothes, only a closet.

It was a pleasure and respite to stay at Mike's home in Princeville, which is both a short ride to Hanalei and very walkable to the shuttle service to Napali. Would absolutely recommend! We also enjoyed the farmer's market and food trucks, also a quick walk nearby.

If you’re looking to stay in the North Shore—this place will not disappoint! It went above and beyond our expectations, and had everything we needed for our week-long stay to explore and bask on the beaches of Kauai. The aesthetic patio/lanai was our favorite part of the place and we enjoyed slow mornings with tea and light breakfast. The apartment is conveniently located near beautiful must-visit beaches, historic areas, and delicious restaurants. Kimberlee is a fantastic host and did an amazing job making sure we were comfortable. She’s super accommodating and would love to return again for another stay in the future :)

This was my fourth time staying in Kimberlee’s beautiful spot on the north shore. It’s has become an annual tradition. Her place is beautiful with tall ceilings in the bedroom and a private bath. The porch looks out over the eucalyptus trees on the gold course and it’s close to a nice walking path that you can take down to the water. Comfortable mattress and soft sheets, windows with beautiful view and nice cross breeze. But the thing I love most about staying here is Kimberlees’s generous hospitality. She is a wonderful host and always makes me feel at home. She has great recommendations for surf spots and is a kind and welcoming host. Even when my flight home was canceled, she welcomed me back for an extra night. I look forward to many more stays here at Kimberlee’s lovely spot! Thank you!

We were so happy with this property. The location was great, close to Princeville and many wonderful places you can walk to. We never had trouble finding parking and the check-on/check-out process was totally seamless. The bed was SO comfy and we very much enjoyed spending time on the lanei with a cold beverage after a long day of hiking or swimming. When I first booked this I thought "why would we use a hot tub in this tropical location?" (we are from Canada where hot tubs are definitely associated with cold winter days after skiing) but it was so lovely to have especially after treking along to Na Pali Coast.I would 100% stay at Marilyn's place again. She was super responsive and provided us some good tips on places to go.

The grounds and the surrounding areas are great if you like to jog and enjoy a beautiful view. The location in proximity to Hanalei is unmatched.
