My husband and I decided to visit Kauai last minute and found this beautiful condo on Vrbo. We absolutely loved staying there, property was very nice, beautiful and clean with everything we needed for our 1 week stay, I noticed how organized everything was and had little notes on how to use stuff and reminders, loved having full sized washer and dryer in the unit next to kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped and clean. Bedroom had extra blanket and pillows in the closet that I really needed and appreciated (I get cold at night easily) Condo was more roomier than we expected, we felt like home. Check in and out was easy, communication was very easy mostly through text. Mike was very friendly and helpful, we had no issues at all. We will definitely be back and say here again.

Everything about this condo was better than we expected, with one small exception. The unit was a little hard to find within the complex, and it was even harder to find the assigned parking space. But for this problem, everything would have been perfect.

Our stay was great! The Princeville area is super nice to stay in, and the condo had everything we needed to cook and go to the beach. I didn't realize it didn't have AC, but the weather was mild, they had fans, and it actually got pretty chilly in the evening, so it was comfortable. Big, and great condo for our stay!

The unit was so beautiful and clean and well equipped. A very comfortable accommodation with all the necessary amenities including beach gear. We didn’t need the upstairs space at all, but a great space for two additional people. Big lanai, fans everywhere to keep it cool. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Mahalo!

I found this booking on VRBO when I was planning to come to Kaua’i for an appointment and to see my family. Just me and no husband and kids this time. As soon as I booked Mike reached out to me with a welcome message confirming my stay and a good number to get in contact with me when I arrived. Before I arrived I reached out to Mike with a of couple questions and he was very responsive. The room was ready, very clean and well stocked. I don’t enjoying staying in resorts with lots of people so this was a perfect alternative. Although there are several condos around it’s much more quiet and low key. I will book this room when I come back to visit my family.

We liked the property very much and we found the posted pictures to accurately describe the apartment.
It was too big for two people and we haven't used the upstairs bedroom for that matter.
We started and ended the day on the lanai, either planning the day ahead or looking over the pictures in the evening. It is quite private, unlike others we have seen in the community.
Washing and drying machines were a hit; we planned ahead and brought less clothes because we knew we'd have access to them.
Mike was very responsive and professional.
We never used the swimming pool, it always looked busy in the evening.
All in all, we recommend this place and we'd love to stay here again if we come back on the north shore.

My wife and I really liked the place. More than enough space for the two of us. Good size master bedroom, lanai, kitchen, and living room. With the bed and half bath upstairs, would be great for having kids or another couple along. New washer and dryer were great since we travel light and everything needed a wash after we hiked out to Kalalau Beach for two of the nights. If you can live without an ocean view, then I highly recommend this place. Which, if you are going to get out and enjoy Kauai, you don't need one. Get out and explore, hike, beach, get in the ocean, etc. We have stayed in many condos around the island and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location and well-stocked rental. Had everything we needed for cooking, the beach, and laundry. Cooled down fine at night despite no air conditioning. The only con was that a couple of nights we were woken up by loud neighbors. I’d still recommend it though, just bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall, great stay!

Comfortable place with a cute aesthetic. Great lani not many accommodations in terms of extras around the house. The area was pretty central, the parking spot is kind of difficult to find. Cute complex with nice neighbors. Pool was nice, hot tub didn’t work one night but then was hot the next!

The condo was very comfortable and had everything I needed while staying there a week. The area is quiet and safe. The parking spot was a little hard to find, but Mike jumped on his moped to come over and show me where it was. For a future reference, it is not in the first lot you come to. Pass that one and go down to Albert Road and turn right and then turn right again into the back parking area for Sandpiper.
There is a grocery store nearby called Foodland, but I found them to be very crowded and over priced with much of their food picked over. (the 10 items I picked up would’ve been $30 in California but was $107 there! I had been warned things cost more in Hawaii but that was outrageous). My suggestion would be to go to Costco or Walmart while you’re still in the airport area as those prices should be cheaper. There was a very nice health food store just before you get to the condo, called Healthy Hut with a wide variety of health food options, fresh fruit drinks made to order and smoothies. Mike also has a list of farmers markets in the area. I really appreciated the new appliances including washer and dryer. The ceiling fans and open windows kept things cool, and the sound of gentle rain at night made it peaceful to sleep. The roosters will be your 6 AM alarm clock in case you wanted to sleep in.
Next time I come to Kauai I plan to stay here again!

Clean, spacious, well ventilated, ac was not necessary. Mike even provided lawn chairs which we took to the beach. Condo and dedicated parking space was a bit hard to find at first, but no big deal. A nice 25 minute walk past the golf course to grocery store and a few restaurants- we liked Tiki Iniki. Would definitely stay here again!

We were two friends visiting in order to attend a beach wedding nearby and found the location to be pleasant and very convenient for nearby beaches, Hanelei and Kapaa. We had a rental car (necessary here) and used the assigned parking space. We enjoyed the fact there is a loft with a second queen-sized bed and adjoining 2-piece bathroom, as we preferred not to share a bedroom. The kitchen modern and well equipped and perfect for preparing meals - breakfast and dinners most days. The lenau is pleasant and covered so you can use it when it's raining. Everything was perfect for us and we found our host, Mike, very approachable by text.

Very nice condo. Well stocked kitchen and the pool area was very enjoyable. It would have been helpful to have directions to the parking space. We had some difficulty with the dvd/ tv but that was probably just us. It was exceptionally clean. We would be fortunate to return.

Mike's condo is the perfect stay and so convenient to our two favorite beaches, the Kilauea Lighthouse, great restaurants, and much more. It's on the second floor that affords privacy and a beautiful tree graces the lanai. Loved the sand chairs, little cooler, assigned parking, well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, and much more. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this property. Communication with the owner was always swift and reliable, Mike went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There is a shelf near the door that has literature on what to do on the island, and I particularly loved the added touch of a list of farmers markets and when and where to find them! The apartment itself was fantastic, even more spacious than we expected, and with a brilliantly equipped kitchen that I personally really enjoyed using. We also surfed every day, so having access to both a pool and hot tub on the Sandpiper Village property was deeply appreciated. We've stayed on Kauai many times, but this Condo definitely sticks out in our minds as singularly perfect for our needs and great in every way!

Everything was as pictured and listed. The only small knock, which isn't the fault of the owner, is the neighbors were a bit noisy late at night and the immediate folks next door smoked on their lanai and the smell made its way into the unit. All in all, though, I would return without hesitation.

My husband and I have stayed at many Princeville condos, but this one might be our new favorite. It’s very spacious (the extra 1/2 bath is a plus) with a spacious lanai, too. Within the Sandpiper complex, this is a prime location — just a short walk to both the pool/grill area and reserved parking spot. Mike is a great host and readily available via text. We’d love to return!

Our stay here was great. The place was clean and as advertised, and check in was super easy. The Lanei was nice and roomy with some tree coverage that give it a private feel. The Lanei faces the pool, so you'll get some pool/hot tub noise, but the complex is super chill, so it wasn't an issue. The pool hottub are is great as well.

We only stayed a short while but this place had everything we needed. The property was impeccably clean, no a/c required the ceiling fans were all adequate and kept us comfortable. The owner communicated well and was very detailed with the check-in/out process. Parking was a breeze because each condo had a designated space. For us the location was perfect. It was quiet retreat and was near to all the points of interests Kauai had to offer. Overall, we will definitely book this place again. Mahalo, Mike!!

We enjoyed our 10 day stay . The condo was perfect for us. Washer and dryer was a must and just happened to be brand new! The loft was perfect for my husband to sleep for 2 nights when I had a migraine. The lanai was just perfect to eat breakfast every morning on. We loved the pool . Loved this rental so much! It had everything we needed and was furnished beautifully. I’ve been staying in the sandpiper complex for 10 years now and this condo was the nicest one we have had yet. We will defiantly be staying here again next year!
Also, for anyone not familiar with the area! Princeville is the best spot to stay in the north shore of Kauai. It’s close to all the best beaches and has all the shopping you need in just a min drive away.

The unit is exactly as shown on this site. It is clean, quiet, and very spacious. The palm trees that surround the balcony make it very private when sitting outside on the lanai. The neighborhood is beautiful. Lots to do in the area. Walk through the neighborhood, or around the golf course, which is not far, shopping, beaches, lots to see and you don't have to go too far. Don't miss a visit to Hanalei Bay which is about a 10-minute drive. Lovely, long, beach, lots of eateries and plenty of shops to browse through.
We felt very comfortable and safe in Princeville.

Comfortable and clean condo with an excellent shower no bugs washer and dryer and full kitchen and a wonderful (huge) balcony. The pool was very nice and we felt very safe. Many condos were families and owner occupied. The loft was a steep climb so take care. This is a second floor unit. No safe, although we grew to feel we didn’t need it.

We really enjoyed staying here. The condo was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and it was comfortable and pleasant. The lack of ac wasn’t a problem because the condo had 3 large paddle fans which together with the island breezes kept us feeling comfortable. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the new washer and dryer were extremely handy. Mike was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. Also, the condo was in a great location with super easy access to the beautiful North Shore of Kauai.

Pretty solid place and just as described. We used the washer and dryer while there and they worked well. Only thing we really noticed was that it was much more comfortable to sleep in the bedroom upstairs rather than downstairs. The room wasn’t as humid for some reason and we just preferred that mattress.

Excellent place to stay on the North Shore. Check in was easy and the parking lot with reserved parking space was a short walk away. Everything was clean and the kitchen and washer and dryer were great to use. There was also a common area with pool and hot tub and grills which we used to cook one night. Haena state park and the Kalalau trail were about a half hour drive away. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and wonderful property. Love the loft feel to the 2 bedroom atmosphere. The pool and hot tub were close by and easy to access. Shopping and grocery store were nearby too. The area is really pretty and well maintained. The drive to Lihue was easy as well. The host is very communicative and answered our questions quickly but did provide a lot of the information we needed in the listing and communication after booking. We appreciated having a cooler and chairs to enjoy while we went out to enjoy several different beaches.
If we come back to Kauai, we would book here again. Mahalo!

This condo was perfect for our trip to Kauai! Great location in Princeville, just a short drive to Hanalei and surrounded by great food and a convenient grocery store and fun activities/places to see. Mike was very communicative and answered right away any time we had questions both before and during our stay. The unit was clean, modern, and had updated appliances for laundry and coffee and cooking! The only “negative” I will mention (which is of no fault to Mike!) is that the walls are fairly thin and a family with several small children live directly below. Their baby cried pretty regularly throughout our trip at all times of the day and we could hear it anywhere we were in the condo. Aside from that, this was a great unit and we had a wonderful time staying at this property!

This was the perfect accommodation for my boyfriend and me - the place was spacious, clean, and private. We appreciated how much natural sunlight we got as well as all of the windows that were easy to open and close to let in the breeze at all times of the day. The in-unit washer and dryer were also hugely helpful! After going on muddy hikes, it was nice being able to come home and throw everything in the wash.
Mike was a wonderful host who made sure to communicate all the details we needed ahead of arrival. I appreciated his timely responses to my questions and would definitely recommend this property to friends - it is the perfect size for a couple or a small family!
