We stayed here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place for such a special occasion. The location is outstanding—just a short hike to Hideaways Beach and only a scenic 10-minute drive to Hanalei Bay. The North Shore of Kauai is exceptionally beautiful, and Princeville turned out to be the perfect home base for exploring the area.The villa was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed, with décor that was both stylish and comfortable. The view from the deck was gorgeous. We enjoyed our morning coffee there while listening to the birds, and in the evenings we relaxed with a glass of wine, watching the sun set behind the mountain peaks.The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for the meals we prepared and enjoyed on the patio. We felt completely at home throughout our stay.The beach towels, chairs, and cooler were thoughtful amenities that came in very handy on our beach days.We definitely plan to return to Kauai's North Shore, and we would happily stay in this villa again. Communication with our host was seamless from beginning to end.We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a magical stay on Kauai.

I would give this place a 10 out of 10 if the main air conditioning was adequate. The upstairs gets quite hot in the late afternoon and as a person who gets migraines this was not ideal. The bedroom conditioners work wonderfully. Dan and Lauren the property manager and repairman were great. The house is not adequately wired for whole house air so stand alone air conditioning is used. The views are beautiful. The town was great.

We loved the house—sparkling clean with a beautiful mountain view from the balcony, where we even saw rainbows at times. We enjoyed dinners out there, and the sunsets were truly special. The only downside was the road noise, which might bother others sensitive to sound. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and we had a great stay!

Well stocked with beach gear, beach towels, snorkel gear and beach towels. Within walking distance of two beautiful beaches. Amazing Mountain View’s off the back porch. Would benefit from additional spices for cooking at home. Needs a couple of replacement blinds and management is working on this. Lizards and geckos are common in the area and do find their way inside at times. Easy parking.

We loved our stay here! It was so nice being right across the street from Sunset point and also easy walking distance to Hideaway Beach and the beach at the 1 Hotel. This particular villa was spectacular because it wasn’t visible from the street (blocked from view by beautiful foliage) and the other units were not easily seen from the balcony. It felt like you had a private view of the golf course and the mountains that overlooked Hanalei Bay.Also, the decor was perfect, beautiful and perfectly suited to the unit and the surroundings. Supplies were plentiful and felt generous, not stingy. It was great having beach, chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear available for use.

We spent 8 nights at the condo - I started every morning with coffee on the deck - the view never gets old! Three bedrooms were comfortable and convenient. The location couldn’t be any better - short walk to Hideaways beach and 1 Hotel for drinks or food (although expensive!). We hope to come back some day!

The property is exactly as described, and the view is incredible! I have absolutely no complaints. As others have noted, the A/C is loud and does not cool like central A/C units. With this said, the fresh air and crosswind is cool and refreshing. Both beaches near by are beautiful with quite a few stairs but worth it! The host was readily available, informative and helpful.

My wife and I stayed her last week. Check in was easy and Jessica communicated with us quickly with any questions that we had. The views from the back balcony are amazing. You are right across the street from the trail to Hideaway Beach and right down the street from Hotel One Hanalei (if you want to grab a drink, meal, or watch the sunset).

Wow, fantastic property & location. We felt right at home when we first entered the property for a 4 night stay. Cleaners had just finished when we drove up and we were able to check-in an hour early. The property is surrounded by tropical flora and was very private.

The condo was clean and well taken care of with all the beach necessities you could need. Being close to the nearby resort is convenient if you want to grab dinner nearby or to use their beach. The closest beach, hideaways beach, is quite a steep hike down and probably not easily accessible with small kids or for people with mobility issues. Great stay wish I was still there.

Absolutely wonderful! Zero issues! The house was well stocked; even had a coffee bean grinder which was a must. The location, although far from several must sees on the island, is phenomenal and I don't know how we'd stay anywhere else if we visited Kauai again. We loved everything about it.

Beautiful villa in a scenic location with breathtaking views of the mountains from the main floor balcony and an ocean view from the front porch. The house is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the house is well stocked to meet every need. We appreciated the beach equipment and the fully stocked kitchen. Probably the nicest accommodations we’ve ever had through vrbo. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Kauai.

Kitchen was fully stocked with spices, cookware, and appliances. Great stock of towels, beach gear & bedding. Lanais had beautiful views of the bay and golf course, with Hideaways entrance right across the street.My only complaint was the looming list of rules posted on the fridge & again in a thick binder on the coffee table. My wife was too tightly wound worrying about incurring miscellaneous fines or breaking rules to ever settle in. Beautiful villa, great location, great views. Unfortunately, probably will not stay again during our visits.

The kitchen was well stocked and the accommodations were spacious. There was plenty of beach/ snorkel equipment! It was a nice size for the money. It needed to be vacuumed better and the wicker wiped well for mildew.

What a beautiful villa it was like being in a treehouse! The view is gorgeous and loved sitting on balcony. Perfect size home for family of 4. Loved the kitchen space too, just lovely! Great proximity to 1Hotel and public beach. Had a minor issue with finding the access code for the locked key box. Referred back to all emails and couldn’t find it. When I called, I spoke to a gentleman and he gave it to me. The instructions were to use the main key which was said to be on top of fridge….Ended up finding the main key at top of stairs in basket. No big deal. Only other odd experience was a finding a kitchen knife on the floor downstairs. It was near the downstairs door entrance. Very random and slightly concerning. Can’t figure that one out. Everything seemed clean and tidy other than that.

This was an awesome spot for our time in the North! We were directly across from the cliff where you could see whales and a sunset. It was easily walkable to Hideaway Beach and walkable into Princeville for meals and shopping. I loved sitting on the balcony for morning coffees while listening to the birdsong. The unit was very well equipped with beach supplies and kitchenware. It wasn’t missing anything.

Beautiful views! We loved sitting on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the mountain and golf course views. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beach towels, toys, cooler, and chairs were nice extras to have for the beach. Also the location was great for a walk to hideaways beach and the beach by the hotel.

Sorry to say, the furniture was grimy from hand oil buildup and the cushion fabric was stained and dirty…Kitchen had less than basic needs in terms of utensils …No laundry detergent furnished…no light bulbs for replacing burned out ones.. no power strip in the small bedroom…the website stated that there was a blow dryer furnished, and there was none to be found.. Not enough paper products furnished for the seven nights stay… lack of air-conditioning was not mentioned on the website… Very uncomfortable with the heatThe only positive feature of the unit… Was the view off the back patio …excellent viewTelephone for The host Owner was disconnected!!!

Specifically looked at this property because of it's located to the ocean as well as the rainforest and it fulfilled this goal. Loved the beach access however does require mobility navigating outdoor stairs or a hiking path. Really appreciate that all linens were fragrance free, this is very impactful on an expirence as someone sensitive to fragrance.
