Absolutely wonderful! Zero issues! The house was well stocked; even had a coffee bean grinder which was a must. The location, although far from several must sees on the island, is phenomenal and I don't know how we'd stay anywhere else if we visited Kauai again. We loved everything about it.

Beautiful villa in a scenic location with breathtaking views of the mountains from the main floor balcony and an ocean view from the front porch. The house is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the house is well stocked to meet every need. We appreciated the beach equipment and the fully stocked kitchen. Probably the nicest accommodations we’ve ever had through vrbo. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Kauai.

This was an awesome spot for our time in the North! We were directly across from the cliff where you could see whales and a sunset. It was easily walkable to Hideaway Beach and walkable into Princeville for meals and shopping. I loved sitting on the balcony for morning coffees while listening to the birdsong. The unit was very well equipped with beach supplies and kitchenware. It wasn’t missing anything.

Nice comfortable villa. Right off of a moderately used road it’s not horrible, but also not peaceful and quite not an issue for sleeping because bedrooms are on the lower/ below ground level. Kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment. Mgt company provides a very limited amount of shampoo, coffee, and laundry detergent. We stayed for 9 nights. They give us a two day supply of coffee, a similar amount of shampoo/conditioner, three packs of laundry detergent. The keyless front door lock stopped working while we were there. We couldn’t leave because we had no way of locking the door. There is a lockbox on site, but they do not give you the code to unlock and use it. After a bit of back and forth with the management company they finally gave us the code for the lockbox. They were not able to fix the keyless entry during our stay. They should provide guests with the code for the lockbox automatically, because has it been 9-10pm at night we would have been locked out for who knows how long.

Great location and amazing views! Plenty of room for our group of 4 adults. Walked to the beach to snorkel each day. The grocery store is really close. The kitchen was stocked. We had a great stay! Highly recommend this property!

Everything Was Perfect at this Villa; Truly Magical location. This owner/host pays, extraordinary attention to, “Detail”, very clean!! Fully equipped kitchen, every gadget and spice that you need to cook. Linen’s fresh, clean, and comfortable. The only thing I’m disappointed about is we didn’t book our stay for a longer period of time.

Stunning views all around! This was hands down the nicest and most well appointed rental that we have ever stayed in. It had everything from spices in the kitchen to beach chairs/umbrellas, binoculars, a telescope and even medical and emergency supplies. The villa was extremely well maintained, the host was excellent about communicating, and we can't wait to return.

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. We love the privacy of being in a small, standalone home yet being so close to everything (ocean is across the street, public walking path is a favorite, great restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei, world class hiking, snorkeling at Anini Beach). Home is lovingly maintained with many nice touches. The kitchen is fully stocked. Having a washer and dryer on site is great. King bed is very comfortable.

We have stayed in several of the villas in this collection over the years and the views are unmatched! This unit is lovely and well-decorated, with comfortable beds (we loved that the second bedroom had a large bed vs the two twins that many units have, which are too short for teens/young adults). And the kitchen had everything we needed, too!
Our only feedback was that the beach supplies were much less than described, and not in great shape. And it was a bit harder to get ahold of someone to ask questions than anticipated. But overall we loved our stay!

Second time renting this house. It's fantastic! Clean house, updated interior and decor, and very well appointed. It has everything you need should you choose to use the kitchen for cooking (very well equipped kitchen!) or all the supplies for a day at the beach, including chairs and soft coolers. Definitely recommend!

Ocean view house is a great place to unwind and enjoy the north shore. Stores in Princeville are convenient, and Hanalei is a short drive away. The ocean and Mountain views are spectacular, especially the sunsets. The house is very bright and full of Kauai islands vibes. Overall, a real gem.

We loved Hideaway Beach and it's just a short walk to the trail. Great walking paths for morning runs and walks too. I miss having I already miss having my coffee on the balcony! We will be back

Upon arrival, my family deemed the home “the best place we have ever stayed!” and they were absolutely right. What a lovely, spacious, and comfortable place from which to explore all the amazing offerings of Kauai’s north shore. The location is so ideal with wonderful proximity to beautiful beaches, charming Hanalei, and great food, but you could honestly just take in the sights from the home and feel perfectly on vacation. We loved the layout (worked well for sleeping kids with the bedrooms downstairs), the well-stocked kitchen, and of course, the view from all sides. Kauai Kahuna was attentive, well-organized, and very pleasant to work with. We would 100 percent return and recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at villa 26 with my in-laws. It was perfect for four adults with plenty of space for all of us to spread out and have both personal space and time together upstairs.
We spent most of our time when we weren't out and about seeing the sites enjoying the beautiful lanai with the mountain views and night stars. And we loved being so close to the 1 Hotel for morning coffee walks.
The property is updated and incredibly clean and well maintained - exactly like the photos!
The kitchen is one of the best stocked we have come across in a rental home. We also enjoyed the use of the beach equipment when we went out to enjoy the local beaches. Note to management: A non-stick pan would have been great and one of four beach chairs is broken.
Would highly recommend a stay here to any families looking for a great spot to explore Kauai!

This was our 5th trip to kauai and we're definitely north shore fans. And it's hard to beat concenience of princeville. Hanalei bay villas stand apart from all the condos in princeville because theyre standalone units and you really feel like youre in a unique treehouse bungalow on the edge of a tropical jungle. Can't beat those morning coffee views. You're just a quick stroll to a fabulous snorkeling beach and the beautiful new 1 hotel is at the end of the street. The unit was soacious and lovely and we appreciated the beach gear. Mahalo nui loa for a great stay. We'll be back!!

We loved Unit #26. It was spotless when we arrived and very nicely decorated. The kitchen very well stocked, the best I have ever experienced in a rental condo. It is perfect walking distance to Hideaway Beach. My husband and I enjoyed many evenings on the lanai taking in the gorgeous mountains and the starry night sky. We would definitely stay at #26 again.

Super clean, Amenities were perfect, the view was breath-taking (rainforest from patio, ocean out the front across the street from a sidewalk and bench to view sunsets), and it was a close walk to Hideaway Beach and a short drive to Hanalei/Princeville. It was just my husband and I so we didn’t use the 2nd bedroom but it would fit our three boys perfectly (one camps out on the floor). Would love to come back!

Location is beautiful. Variety of kitchen tools, dishes and spices a plus. Told to check in after 3PM or would be fined for early arrival, however unit was not available until 5PM. Outdoor amenities advertised including snorkel equip and beach chairs which were unusable. Window treatments are mildewy on backside in 2nd bedroom and extremely dusty and poorly maintained. Portable Fans and Air filters caked with dust.

If you're looking around at different vacation rentals on the North Shore, and this one is open, go ahead and stop now and book this. It's really that good.We came to Kauai and stayed here for 4 months during the summer of the coronavirus shutdown, working remotely for that time. We woke up with the sounds of the waves out front, birds out the back, and little else.This is very well-equipped with just about everything you would want, to the point that it's clear that the owners probably spend quite a bit of time there.Location is great, you can walk a minute down the street for an amazing view (where the neighborhood tends to gather to view the sunset), or walk a few minutes the other way to Hideaways Beach or the beach at the Princeville Resort (now empty).Other vacation rentals on Kauai have issues with getting too hot in the mid-afternoon, but this one always gets a consistent cool breeze. Even in the hottest days of the summer it was cool with the windows cracked, especially downstairs.Internet is great here, I was working remotely for a mainland company without any hiccups. I measured about 170Mbps down / 20mbps up.

We had a great time during our stay. We would absolutely rent this house again. It was in the perfect location, had everything we needed and was a short walk away from what ended up being our favorite beach (Hideaway). The views from the back were beautiful and we enjoyed all of the little birds that would come to the balcony. The ocean view in the front was gorgeous and perfect for watching the sunset. We will be back!

I can't imagine having a better location! Beautiful mountain views out the living room windows and the front of the house has gorgeous ocean views and breathtaking sunsets. Everyone drives here to see the sunset and we just walked out the door. Every morning I walked down to the beach, I wish I would have gone snorkeling but I was alone on the walks and didn't feel comfortable going out into the ocean alone. There was a man fishing when I got down there so I guess I wasn't alone.
The house was very tastefully decorated and immaculate. It isn't cheap Beach decorations but beautiful original art pieces.. We appreciated that they had some basic spices and all the kitchen utensils we could dream of using and fun dishes. The last night there, we realized they owned every Hawaii movie filmed located in the master bedroom. All of the tours tell about the movies and we were wanting to watch some. They also had several books about Hawaii. We loved reading rhe info and found the books quite helpful. We lucked out with weather. It only rained one morning of our stay. The rest of the time was beautiful!
A couple things to be aware of:
1. Queen's bath was closed while we were there
2. The road to Hanalei is only open at certain times. It wasn't too busy when we were there because it was right when they opened the island back up after covid restrictions. By the time we left we noticed very long lines going to Hanalei at the 1pm road opening.
3. You have to reserve a pass to get to Ke'e Beach and the hike. They won't let you in and turn away hundreds of travelers per day. Log in to their website at 6:30 am and get any tickets available and try to book in advance. We didn't get a pass which was the only disappointing part of the trip. We saw plenty of other things though! We loved Tunnels Beach for snorkeling! Rip tides are pretty bad at Secret Beach so don't get caught in those.

This villa delivered. I noticed there are 30+ Hanalei Bay Villas. Of these, a number are owned and many of them have a nice back view (golf course and mountains), but depending on the unit the front view faces condos. However, our unit (26) had excellent views both front and back and generous space between neighbors. It's probably one of only a few rentals with both views. The interior was very clean and fully stocked. Appliances and kitchenware were clean and new, so cooking for ourselves was great. Due to the pleasantness both inside and out, we had wonderful lazy mornings eating in, relaxing on either the upstairs or downstairs backyard porch, and there were nice trails nearby to walk to different beaches. One walk was easy, the other satisfied our desire for adventure! Great stay; couldn't have been happier.

It was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed walking to the nearby Princeville Resort for a buffet breakfast on their outdoor patio. We also went to the beach there but the public access requires going down many steps. Directly across from the property is a perfect view area for sunsets. With our rental car, we drove to other beaches, a wonderful local farm market, a grocery store for making our meals, Na'Aina Kai Bontanical Gardens and Sculpture Park as well as a bird preserve. It was also within walking distance of a pizza pub, but we didn't use it.We would recommend this property to friends/relatives.

This hale is exactly what I would want to own if I were to purchase a home on Kauai; from the furnishings to the location to view! It's obvious the owners put a lot of thought into preparing their home for visitors in a way that reflects their tastes and is welcoming to guests. Also, I have worked with 4 different management companies over 8 visits to Kauai and although the others were very good, Kauai Kahuna Vacation Rentals was the best yet. They were very responsive and detailed in handling our rental. There was plenty of follow-up before, during, and after our stay to ensure our needs were met completely. We had one minor repair request (a couple of loose towel bars) which were addressed by maintenance within two hours of being reported.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this condo was. The front view was to the ocean and the back to the Hanalei mountain ridges. The condo came equipped with everything imaginable and things we didn't know we even needed! We also appreciated the extensive and eclectic library collection. There were plenty of resources on various topics to educate visitors about the nuances of the island. The management company was extremely courteous and easily accessible for help to or to answer any questions. There was more than enough room in this villa for us. And it was tastefully decorated and well kept. It felt more like someone's home than a condo. It was super pleasant and we'd definitely stay there again next time we visit Kauai.
