The property was nice, clean, and cozy. A little smaller than it looks in the picture, but great for two. The lanai was a highlight--we spent our days off-site, but in the mornings, we enjoyed having breakfast on our own private, well-appointed top-floor patio with the sun coming up. The host takes a lot of pride in her rental, and was helpful answering our questions about the condo and the surrounding area.

I can’t say enough nice things about Kimberlee. It was pouring all over the island when we got here so she allowed us to check in early and was super agreeable and accommodating. I spent most of my time (when we were there) on the large lanai. The room is a small space (think hotel room) so if you like to laze about all day, take that into consideration. Kimberlee has it equipped with cute, tiny (not kidding, toy sized but very adorable) appliances like toaster, crock pot, electric skillet etc...
If I had thought it through a little better, I probably would’ve booked a place with a full kitchen, but eh- I didn’t mind having an excuse not to cook. Definitely recommend for a short stay or if you are the adventurous types that only drop in to sleep.

The unit was exactly as pictured and described, appropriately decorated for its Kauai location. Obviously the host expends extra effort in making its site appealing as far as both the interior and exterior. A full complement of ocean and beach equipment is provided, and any necessary food or other shopping is nearby.

My husband and I had a nice stay at this cute studio. The Princville area is beautiful and peaceful. We took several walks around the area and felt very safe and welcomed. It's a quick drive into Hanalei and Princville. Even better, there are so many beautiful, quiet sandy beaches around, especially if you are willing to take a short hike. We recommend Hideaway beach and the secret beach if you want to get away from the crowds. Kim offers everything you need for a nice beach day. The pool area was alsi nice and it was extremely convenient to have a reserved parking spot so close to our room. We tried to keep our windows open at night so we could enjoy the cool breeze and keep the airconditioner off, but beware, the roosters get started every night around 2 or 3 am right outside the window.
Overall, a great stay and we would recommend booking this place with Kim.

The condo was clean and convenient for purposes. Hanalei is one of our favorite places; it was just a short drive from the condo. Kimberlee was prompt and helpful in answering our questions. We were pleased to find that Kimberly and Deanne were concerned about the environment and we were pleased that we could contribute by conserving water, recycling, and not using using air conditioning; during our stay the island breezes were more than sufficient for our comfort.

This property was absolutely lovely! The area is nice, and we were even able to park our rental car in an assigned spot. The host has wonderful communication and she really puts a lot of effort into the place, and it shows! I highly recommend you read the binder she put together, it’s full of wonderful tips and recommendations. The room is clean and lovely, just what you would want to come home to after a day of exploring the island. 10/10, would absolutely stay here again, it was an amazing experience!

Cute rental unit in a great location in Princeville. It’s like a hotel room, but with a bonus kitchenette and an incredible lanai (balcony). Plus, there’s tons of useful beach equipment and even access to a hose to clean off after the beach and hiking. There’s a Foodland and restaurants a few minutes away, with easy access to Hanalei and other points north.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here for our 10 year anniversary! Kimberlee was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable/enjoyable from allowing us to check in early to letting us borrow her blender. The beach gear (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear) was wonderful to have. Our favorite was sitting out on the balcony reading, talking, and listening to the rain fall. The condo was spotless and beautifully updated/decorated. The pool/hot tub is very close to the condo and has BBQ’s and plenty of places to lounge. If you’re looking for a peaceful home base to explore the Northshore, Kimberlee’s condo has everything you’ll need!

We stayed here 3 nights in October 2022. The location in Princeville is perfect. A 15 minute walk to Princeville Center for restaurants and shopping. A short drive to more restaurants. Hikes to beaches.
The condo is very neat and clean. There are many thoughtful touches throughout Communication was excellent.
This is a great value. It is small but that is your trade off for affordability. Photos are accurate.

Just what the Doctor ordered: a perfect little locale in the beautiful village of Princeville, on the North shore of Kauai. Restful, well appointed studio with an amazing lanai. Everything you need as a launch pad for exploring the Garden Isle of the Hawaii Islands.
Kimberlee is a perfect host: there if you need her for anything but simultaneously manages to leave you in complete peace.

the rental unit was beautiful, as pictured, but the entire trip felt like the host just did not want to have a rental. I’m unsure why she accepted our request but the entire trip felt like a really passive aggressive roommate and she invaded our privacy multiple times by stating she “reserved the right to enter the room”. we got there at 1030 PM due to a late flight, and she had told us to quiet down in no less than 10 minutes of arriving (we were just settling in). She instructed us to turn off the ac unit and to close the sliding door when we left. what we did not know, is that she would proceed to enter our unit continuously throughout our stay, while we were not there, to turn it off or check that it was off. She tried to charge us money for leaving the AC on for a couple hours during two of the 6 days we were staying there (after paying an extremely inflated fee for less than a week’s stay) and sent aggressive texts to us. eventually she said we would need to turn over the ac remote to her in order to avoid a fee. i wouldn’t stay at this property again given the aggressiveness of the host. the unit we stayed in was next doors to hers so it felt like you constantly had a “parent over shoulder” so to speak.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I’ve been so stressed and lost 6 hours of sleep immediately after arriving dealing with problems. We should have stayed in the same resort in Lihue for the last 2 nights of our trip and saved ourselves the headache and time of trying to find adequate accommodation last minute.
In short we left.
The walls are paper thin. Internet is slow. Bed is also uncomfortable. Upon reading some old reviews I realized that I am not the only one to have the same feedback, although the host claimed that nothing like this has ever came up before.
Please note that the condo is surrounded in the middle of many small apartments, in a crowded community. By our awful luck, upon checking in at 8:30pm, we immediately had the pleasure of encountering our neighbors in the middle of a loud domestic dispute, and hours later it turned into them making crazy loud sounds doing private things! Earth shattering loud for hours and hours no end, it was so uncomfortable and such a harassment! Never in my life have I heard anyone scream that loud on the top of her lungs. It is definitely not suitable for a family, not safe for children or anyone looking to have some peace.
And then the toilet stopped working, and water started flushing back up...
I was in touch with Vrbo from 12am-3am trying to figure things out, and we left first thing in the morning. The whole experience was so unacceptable and closer to that of a college dorm than a vacation. I felt the description was so misleading given how far from tranquil my experience was.
I provided all of the videos and pictures to Kimberlee. She did eventually provide a partial refund, but we are still out hundreds, and wasted so much vacation time dealing with it all.
The good thing was that the condo was well stocked. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend.

Perfect place for my little family! Kimberlee was amazing!!! She gave us tips before we landed that we didn’t even think of, she went out of her way to make sure we all were comfortable and was completely available to answer ANY questions. She made us feel like family !
We had a very busy itinerary but found a few hours to find Sealodge beach which was an amazing experience! If you get the opportunity totally worth checking out but don’t forget the snorkel gear Kimberlee has available for you!
If we travel again to this area just the 3 of us again we feel we have the perfect place to stay !!!!

The studio was perfect for our trip! Had everything we needed for quick meals in the kitchenette and everything was clean and well maintained. The shower curtains are pretty worn out and dirty with water stains. With new shower curtains this place would be 10 stars for us! Also the sink in the living space was kind of dirty too. But definitely still useable. We loved our stay here! Definitely look forward to coming back. Our host was amazing, we mistakenly hung our beach towels on the deck railing and she called and texted us. She was super nice through text and completely understanding of us not knowing we cannot hang the beach towels there. Loved her!

The owner was somewhat suspicious with us- we had about 48 hours on the island and when we arrived, were asked not to check in right away due to a road accident. The owner seemed friendly enough to be giving us updates about the traffic situation, but after all the transpired over the weekend we are suspicious that maybe she needed to buy some time to get the place ready. When we arrived, photos of sleeping accommodations did not match the listing. If you were planning on using any sleeping arrangements besides the main bed, be sure to clarify, as NONE of them were there. When the owner was contacted, she again seemed nice enough to apologize profusly and offered to bring camping mats the night of. We were exhausted from being asked to check in late, and so we denied the mats as we needed to fall asleep as quickly as possible for our excursion the next day. While we were out, the owner promised to bring the futon/ sofa sleeper from the listing into the unit. When we arrived home that evening, we discovered a thin mattress pad laying on the ground instead. Normally none of this would bother me much but seeing as this booking cost us over $700 and the owner only offered to refund $100 for false advertisement, we were a little dissapointed. Lovely place, but felt like we got treated poorly and scammed. Will not be returning.

We had a delightful stay in Princeville and meeting Kimberlee was definitely a highlight. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and met our needs perfectly. The pool is also gorgeous and we enjoyed the well-appointed poolside grill to make dinner one night. Kim was an enthusiastic host and was a pleasure to meet. We enjoyed learning a bit about island life and the "inside scoop" on local beaches and activities. She even gave us a lift one day to a hike. and stored our bags for a few nights while we were backpacking. We would highly recommend her unit and may even return on another trip (if we are lucky).

Location and host are ideal, especially if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood (almost too quiet). It’s definitely a cozy room but the bed is nice and Kimberlee has plenty of kitchen equipment and other needs. If you’re there to work, probably not the best spot as the Wi-Fi is not that great.

Kimberlee was very responsive to messages and worked things around so we could check in a bit early and out a bit late. The unit was very clean and the patio was a nice little hideaway to relax in. We didn't need the a/c because there was a great breeze with the patio door and windows open. My only complaint is that the units are very close together, and unfortunately we ended up next to someone who loved having loud, late night phone calls both nights we were there. Overall, a very quaint little place to stay.

We especially appreciated the beach goodies chairs, towels, etc. Check in directions were clear and easy. Only suggestion is to have printed check out directions in the house. We received the check out directions which were very standard, but via email and we missed some items we would have been happy to do. Location is good with easy access to highway, restaurants and easy drive to beaches.

You will not regret your decision to stay at Kimberlee's beautiful VRBO! My husband and I traveled to Kauai for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were looking for and expected - clean and comfortable. Although I could see where staying on the East side of the island could be more convenient, we also really enjoyed views you get to soak in near Princeville (so we didn't mind). This place had everything we needed - towels, cooler, and other amazing items for the beach (although we didn't use them) that are hard to bring yourself. Kimberlee was a great host that was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay - would definitely recommend. I also want to mention that we LOVED spending some of our evenings on the lanai with the hanging lights and at the community hot tub!

Don’t even think twice about booking your stay here!! It was absolutely perfect, situated so close to Hanalei and the rest of the North shore and a close drive to Kapa’a. Kimberlee is so sweet and communicative, and didn’t miss a single detail - from the beautifully furnished outdoor patio, macadamia nut coffee, glasses/mugs/plates stocked in the kitchen, and a built-in dispenser for shampoo/conditioner in the shower. The fan was great but was a bit humid when we were there so tradewinds didn’t cool off as much as we liked but overall a great place!

We had a wonderful stay at Kimberlee’s place because
1) it was very clean
2) location was great for those who would like to explore the North Shore - we were only a few mins drive to some of North Shore’s popular places such as Queens Bath and Anini Beach. We also venture out to Waimea and South Shore for day trips and the drive was doable.
3) very responsive host
4) has a variety of beach equipment for us to use such as beach chairs, flippers, and towels.
5) when she found out it was our honeymoon during our stay, she took the time to surprised us two mini bottles of Prosecco!
6) Although it’s a studio, it had a king size bed and was perfect for two adults. There’s not a full kitchen so just be cognizant of that.
7) despite that there’s no AC, we felt cool at night (we were mostly out during the day), bc of the air circulation and the ceiling fan was great.

I would recommend others to stay here. It's close to Hanalei Bay so you have easy access to that area. The place felt cozy and like I was really living in Kauai. I appreciated Kimberlee's attentiveness and kindness during our stay. Thank you!!!

Kimberlee's studio was the perfect place for exploring the North Shore. We spent 4 total nights at her place on our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Quiet, great location for getting to some of the best spots (Hideaways and Queen's Bath), and incredible value for what you get. She's a wonderful host and we will definitely stay again when we come to Kauai! Mahalo!

This VRBO is a piece of paradise exactly as advertised. Of course it helps that the VRBO is located in Princeville right next to the beautiful Na Pali coast! We greatly enjoyed using the kitchen and patio to cook/eat some fish we picked up at the dolphin market in Hanalei.

Loved this studio and the location on the north shore! Was my first time to Kauai and I was able to see so much. East drive to Hanalei and also south to poipu and the airport. Kimberlee was super responsive and there to help with any questions! Would 100% stay again.

This is a great quiet spot to stay in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of good spots to walk. Kimberlee was super friendly and responsive. The check-in was simple and easy. We enjoyed the pool area and grill several times. The studio apartment can get pretty warm but cools off pretty well with turning the fans on.

Kimberlee's place is a cozy little studio in the heart of Princeville. It has a nice lanai and is very breezy.
It is really nice to walk around the area and is a short drive to Hanalei, even with the landslide.
Kimberlee herself was super responsive about any questions we had.

I absolutely hate leaving a poor review and never have before but I feel like there was just too much that went wrong to not warn potential guests. We will start with the good. The location of the property is wonderful and Princeville itself is beautiful. The unit was very clean when we came in and easy to get into.
Now the bad. Unfortunately, the unit itself is extremely problematic. I would not recommend anyone stay here and would not stay here again myself. Here is a list of the problems:
-Bed is horrible. Sheets are like dollar store thin polyester sheets that are so warn they are see through and yet at the same time super hot. Mattress is insanely old with a lumpy mattress cover
- Some sort of fire alarm or CO2 alarm next door started going off at 430 am and continued until afternoon. I understand the owner did not have control over this but she was also very unresponsive. She did not respond until the afternoon. Not a nice vacation rest.
-WiFi goes in and out. Which is fine when you’re out on the beach but really sucks when you’re trying to check into your flight or watching TV in the evenings.
-Security: The lanai sliding glass door doesn’t lock. It is on the second floor so it's not too big of a deal. But combine that with the key code to the main door being kept under a pot out front and it just made us uncomfortable having our belongings in there.
-No soap, sponge, dish towel or paper towels in the kitchen.
We were not able to wash our hands in the kitchen, let alone the dishes.
-No garbage bags available to take our the trash. The high temperature in the apt created a smelly compost out of our produce and coffee garbage. We wanted to take it out but when we realized there were no replacement trash bags, we decided we had to just suffer through it until we left.
-The apt gets very very hot during the day. Then gets very cold in the middle of the night.
-The curtains are so hard to move and the curtain rod falls off. There is an old screw hole where you can see where it used to be screwed in. Clearly that has been neglected.
-The towel holder fell off the wall when I went to dry my hands (I am not the hulk, I promise).
- No place to put your stuff in the shower (shelf etc). This is super nit picky and I would normally never mention it. But it just added to the little annoyances
- No coffee provided. Not a big deal but I've just never stayed a place that didn't provide at least instant.

Loved our stay here!!! Communication was amazing with the host. She replied very quickly and was very accommodating. The photos don’t do this cute little stay justice. It’s really adorable and in the best neighborhood. You really score with the area this little condo is in. Very close to hanalei valley, about 2 miles from hideaway beach. We wish we stayed here longer!!!
