Our rental car was a Tesla. Mike very kindly arranged for us to charge the car overnight at a condo that was close to the parking lot. We circumnavigated the whole island several times and always had plenty of power. Thanks Mike.

We loved the pool, hot tub, and grills. Very clean with comfortable beds. It would be helpful to know there are 2 parking lots. As well as which lot is closest to the apartment.It's a bit tricky to navigate the property and find the proper apartment # in the dark. Once we found the 2nd hidden parking lot it was easier.

This was a good base location for exploring the north side of Kauai. This is a studio “condo” but I would not say this space has a kitchenette - there is no where to cook food and the fridge is very small. Make sure the portable air conditioning unit is actually close enough to the air outlet, it’s not secured and can come loose. Lastly the king size bed is a bit oversized for this space, and the side of the bed closest to the TV is very worn out with a noticeable dip in the mattress.

We very much enjoyed our stay here at Mike’s little condo. It was very clean and equipped with everything you would need considering the space. The AC unit was a lifesaver for sure and a huge reason in why we chose this rental. However the other major deciding factor was the listing states there is a washer and dryer to which there is not a set either in the unit or on the premises. I came more prepared because I’m a woman and tend to over pack but my husband brought very little with him considering he was planning on washing what little clothing he did have. Mike was great when we brought the matter to his attention and did his very best to accommodate us. I’m only bringing it up to inform anyone else who is booking this listing specifically for the washer and dryer. Other than the washer/dryer issue the space was perfect for our needs. We were there for eight nights and never felt we had outgrown the studio condo and again the AC was amazing! Overall great place and a perfect location in the stunningly beautiful North Shore of Kauai! One tip I can share is to buy any groceries you might need from the Big Save Market in Hanalei vs. the Food Land in Princeville. You will definitely save big!

Our contact, Mike, was very prompt with responding. The room was very clean and a good base camp since we were out exploring the island most of the day. The pool area was also nice. Close to Foodland grocery store, and we found a cluster of food trucks with the the Wyndham vacation rentals, which was close enough to walk to. Only thing that would make this a smidge better, is to have some laundry facilities on site.

My stay at Sandpiper 215B exceeded my expectations! Mike was a wonderful host and very helpful with clear, prompt, and accurate communication. The property had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. The linens, towels, and beach equipment was all like brand new and the place was spotless! I have stayed at many different sized properties in the Princeville area with a wide range of amenities and this was hands down my favorite! Clean, cool, safe, easy access and everything was in perfect working condition which says a lot for a rental property ! It seemed as if I was staying in somebody’s personal property since it was so well taken care of. The only reason I wouldn’t want to spread the word of excellence and recommend it is because I wouldn’t want it to already be booked when I want to come back!

The manager was great and helped us with any little problems we had. Just special note it’s not super quick with a lot of little things that you think you might need. There are some nice things that have been left by previous people. It is definitely not set up for you to cook in anyway. Only a microwave to warm things. If you think you’re going to be able to cook there, you definitely cannot. Refrigerator is small sized. This is for anyone with a family or a small budget and not wanting to eat out all the time.

This place is perfect for a short stay. It's small, but the lanai makes it larger and becomes the living/dining room. Pool is great, communication with owner easy. Note that there is no kitchen, but there is a small toaster, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, so it's perfect for preparing breakfasts and lunches and warming up takeout. Comfortable bed, and I love the key-less entry.

Has everything covered for a cost effective stay. The studio offered more space than an average hotel room and had a little sink/microwave/mini fridge/coffee maker area. Beach gear included towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, ice packs in freezer. Hot tub/pool was perfect after a day of hiking/surfing. Zero bugs seen (this is a big deal for island rentals!). WiFi was reliable for moments of remote working. Spacious lanai for meals and chill time. Safe parking. Mike is a fantastic communicator and helped us out with some suggestions for local companies to rent boards and to go whale watching.
Only note is that the walls in the development are paper thin- I could hear full conversations. It’s quiet at night in the neighborhood and everyone seems to be respectful so it didn’t interfere with sleep. We’re from the islands so we’re used close neighbors, but if you are looking for silence it may not be the spot for you. I say just bring earplugs! (You need them for Hawaii roosters anyway). Kudos to Mike for reaching out to a neighbor who was doing demolition renovation in the morning- they started later the following days and are apparently done now, so no worries.
As I said: Perfect place to hang between adventures!

This studio condo was perfect for our needs. We were out all day exploring Kauai and primarily slept and showered here. It was very clean, organized, and we could tell it was thoughtfully stocked. It was in a convenient location to explore the north shore and was easy to get in and out of. Finding it was initially a little difficult in the dark, as we had to wander around to check the numbers on each building. Definitely recommend parking in the larger lot towards the back - it is closer than the little front parking lot. Check in and out were very easy and Mike was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again if we travel to Kauai!

Communication was excellent. The condo was clean and updated. Lots of nice touches such as a microwave, mini-fridge, beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella, map of the island with beaches, and makeup towel. Loved the lanai with the table, chairs, and couch. The lanai also had latticework and pull-down shades for privacy. The location in Princeville was great, though you could hear traffic from one of the main roads a block away.

This is a wonderful condo that is close to Hanalei with a nice pool and jacuzzi. It has 2 folding chairs you can take to the beach and a large beach umbrella. There's a microwave, toaster, and a mini fridge with a freezer. There's also a large fan in the bathroom closet, along with a mounted fan on the ceiling that goes to a roof exhaust vent along with a small powered A/C unit. The lanai and condo both have ceiling fans with remotes. There are plenty of outlets to plug in and charge your electronic devices. There are plenty of towels and washcloths for 2 people. Theres a large bed for 2 people (my only real complaint was that the mattress was a little bit lumpy). There's a parking pass for your rear view mirror. Parking can be a bit tricky with most spaces reseved but there are always some free spots in the larger parking lot. Mike was very helpful and polite answering my questions. Condo was very well stocked. Rice maker, coffee maker, plenty of dishes and utensils. The daily rental price was also very reasonable! Be aware there is no stove/cooktop (but that's to be expected in a smaller condo). This condo is on the 2nd floor. I can recommend this condo without hesitation!

The location is perfect for exploring the north shore of Kaua’i and the beach gear that was provided (nice chairs, cooler, umbrella, and towels) made all of our beach time top notch! The property and grounds are well maintained, safe, and quiet. Parking was easy and never more than a short walk to the studio. We would happily stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Kaua’i!

This is a condo where people live so neighbors are rather vocal below. Perfect for our 2 nights. Outdoor terrace was lovely but again, neighbors windows were right there so you can hear very clearly. First let me say that Mike is an excellent host. Very communicative and helpful. I got a little disoriented upon my arrival as it was dark and I couldn’t see the unit numbers - he called me right away to ensure I was able to find my way! The space is clean, cozy, and spacious. For me, a clean bathroom/shower is key and this unit did not disappoint. Location is super convenient as there is a Foodland nearby and I was only 10 minutes from the wedding I attended and 15 minutes from Hanalei Bay! 10/10 would stay again and recommend to a friend! A really lovely little studio apartment in a very well maintained complex with a pool and BBQ area. It is nicely updated with a comfortable bed and love seat. The deck is large and private. The location is across from the golf course and is very walkable to Princeville centre in one direction and beaches and some restaurants in the other. Highly recommend!

Mike was very responsive from the beginning and was able to provide us with answers to all our questions. The place has a nice little balcony and the property is well secluded enough from the local fanfare to feel private, though your neighbors are all around you. We were able to be pretty close to some delicious eats and beautiful hikes, as well as a bit farther from some of the main south side attractions. Parking was easy and not as hard as it may seem. The only complaint I have is that the listing shows in the images a dining table and chairs which were not present in the property. In place of it is a coffee table and small love seat for two, which worked out nicely, but it would have been good to know before hand.
All in all, we would recommend Mike's place to anyone looking to get away who needs just the basics.

It is close to the golf course walking path which lead to beautiful views, restaurants, and even into the Princeville shopping center. Good location for North shore visit and very close to Princeville Shopping Center.
